[0004] Background of the Present Invention:
[0005] Known book bindery systems comprise a number of different machines for carrying out the various steps of the binding operation. The system may include a binding machine, a trimmer, a rounding and backing apparatus and a machine for applying covers to bound pages. Generally, such machines function entirely independent of one another and when operating arc designed to handle one specific size and kind of book. Each machine must be set up top and bottom bracket assembly separately for the specific size of book passing through the system and if a different size of book is to be produced, then the system must be shut down to permit appropriate adjustments to be made to each individual machine.
[0006] Book, leaflets, broachers and the similar products are the very important part of the day to day life of the people around the world. Because of which the manufactures are also in constant research to provide the perfect products with accurate and fast change over time for different job size. In the manufacturing of such products the final cutting or the trimming of the final product needs perfection to avoid rejections. In addition, covers of brochures are often provided with folded-in flaps which correspond only to a portion of the width of the inner book or which project completely to the edge of the inner book.
[0007] EPl 201 379 discloses a three-sided trimmer having a top edge cutting knife, a bottom edge cutting knife and a fore edge cutting knife, all with flat edges and reciprocating.
[0008] EP 0 893 277 discloses a trimmer, particularly for trimming book backs. A milling cutter has a disc-shaped body specially shaped teeth. The trimmer is a rotary cutter.
[0009] US patent no. 4505173 discloses a three knife cutting machine in which dogs on a conveying chain transport material to be cut against stop in a cutting station. At the cutting station a pressure plate holds down the book and two reciprocating side knives and the front knife perform the three cuts.
[0010] US6994337 provides a book trimmer for use in a book manufacture, the book trimmer comprises: a front edge cutter for trimming the opposite edge of the book to the book spine. There is one or more book stops are provided for halting the passage of the book down the support surface at the cutting position.
[0011] Conventional cutters of this type have long been known and have generally in practical operations. Keeping the above in mind, a number of operational problems have existed which have prevented such a trimmer from operating at high speed with smoothness and accuracy of trimming. Such conventional cutters or trimmers are very much tedious in operation and faces the problems and unable to provide efficient cutting of the book edges.
[0012] Hence, there is a need of an invention where the above problems can overcome by providing efficient and proper cutting of the books with accurate and fast change over time and the likes.
