Abstract

This teaching device comprises: a camera position / attitude calculation unit that, on the basis of data of a three-dimensional model of a camera-equipped hand and data of a three-dimensional model of a camera attached to the camera-equipped hand, calculates the position and attitude of the three-dimensional model of the camera, using the three-dimensional model of the camera-equipped hand as a reference; and a hand position / attitude calculation unit that, on the basis of the calculated position and attitude of the three-dimensional model of the camera using the three-dimensional model of the camera-equipped hand as a reference and calibration data obtained by mounting the camera-equipped hand on a robot and calibrating the camera, calculates the position and attitude of the three-dimensional model of the camera-equipped hand using a three-dimensional model of the robot as a reference, such calculation being for the purpose of attaching the three-dimensional model of the camera-equipped hand to the three-dimensional model of the robot.
