Description

[0001] MODULAR MAGNETIC BOILER FILTER

[0002] Technical Area

[0003] The invention relates to a magnetic boiler filter that collects metal oxides formed over time in the process in heating systems such as combi boilers, boilers and heat exchangers and prevents them from damaging the honeycombs, boiler and installation and can be easily installed in the system.

[0004] Previous Technical

[0005] Over time, metal oxides, sludging, sediment and lime formation occur in the radiator lines of the boilers. These particles begin to circulate in the boiler system with the movement of water. Standard dirt traps cannot hold these particles. As a result, the problem of clogging of parts such as pumps and heat exchangers, which are important parts of the boiler system, arises. This causes loss of efficiency in boilers and even failure of the boiler.

[0006] In addition, if these particles (sludge, sediment, lime scale, metal acid, etc.) are not cleaned in time, sludging occurs at the bottom of the radiator over time. This causes the radiator to fail to perform the necessary heating process over time.

[0007] A magnetic boiler filter is mentioned in utility model document 2020 / 21444 in the state of the art. In order to install the relevant filter in the boiler system, the water line must be cut and the magnetic filter must be installed in the system.

[0008] In patent document US2914178A, which is in the state of the art, a magnetic filter is mentioned.

[0009] Patent document GB 1497851 A mentions a filter assembly with bypass valve.

[0010] Patent US2976999A describes a magnetic filter for fuel systems and its installation. When the existing systems in the technique are examined, there is a need to develop a magnetic boiler filter that can be easily installed in the system that prevents damage to the honeycombs, boiler and installation by collecting metal oxides formed over time in the process in heating systems such as boilers, boilers and heat exchangers.

[0011] Purposes of the Invention

[0012] The purpose of this invention is to develop a magnetic boiler filter that can be easily installed in the system that collects metal oxides formed over time in the process in heating systems such as boilers, boilers and heat exchangers and prevents them from damaging the honeycombs, boiler and installation.

[0013] Another object of the present invention is the development of a magnetic boiler filter, where the connecting part is metal, which provides the connection with heating systems such as boilers, boilers, heat exchangers, etc.

[0014] Detailed Explanation of the Invention

[0015] The magnetic combi filter realized to achieve the objects of the present invention is shown in the accompanying figures.

[0016] These figures are;

[0023] The parts in the figures are individually numbered and the corresponding numbers are given below.

[0025] 2. Cover top plug

[0026] 3. Cover

[0027] 4. Magnet

[0028] 5. Cleaning apparatus

[0029] 6. Wire filter

[0030] 7. Connection part (insert)

[0031] 8. Inner O-ring

[0032] 9. External O-ring

[0033] 10. Moving part

[0034] 11. Spring

[0035] 12. Tabs

[0036] 13. Cylindrical cavity The invention relates to a magnetic boiler filter that can be easily installed in the system that collects metal oxides formed over time in the process in heating systems such as combi boilers, boilers and heat exchangers and prevents them from damaging the honeycombs, boiler and installation, comprising the parts;

[0037] - Body (1),

[0038] Connection part (7) located at the end of the body (1) and providing connection with the boiler system,

[0039] The moving part (10) that moves in the body (1) and directs the water circulating in the installation and allows the flow of water to flow into the filter,

[0040] Spring (11) located in the body (1) that prevents water leaks towards the boiler by applying pressure on the moving part (10) from the upper part, Tabs (12) integrated in the connecting part (7) and securing the moving part (10),

[0041] Cover (3), which keeps the parts of the filter together and is closed on the body (1),

[0042] Cylindrical cavity (13) provided on the cover (3),

[0043] - Magnet (4) positioned in the cylindrical cavity (13) and collecting the metal particles in the water,

[0044] Cleaning apparatus (5), which is connected to the outer surface of the cylindrical cavity (13) in the form of a tight fit and on which the metal particles attracted by the magnet (4) are collected,

[0045] Wire filter (6) in the form of a hollow cylindrical shell with permeable edges, which is placed in the body (1) and retains the particles collected by the magnet (4),

[0046] Cover top plug (2), which is closed on the cylindrical cavity (13) and protects the magnet (4) from external factors,

[0047] Internal O-ring (8) positioned between the body (1) and the connecting part

[0048] (7) and ensuring water tightness, - External O-ring (9) positioned on the connecting part (7) and ensuring water tightness.

[0049] The magnetic boiler filter of the invention is attached to the system by removing the strainer filter in the boiler installation with the help of the connection part (7). The connection part (7) is produced in a monolithic manner with the body (1). In order to provide a tighter connecting part (7) to the system, the connecting part (7) is manufactured in metal structure. In addition, water tightness is increased by positioning an inner O-ring between the body (1) and the connecting part (7) and an external O-ring (9) on the connecting part (7). Thanks to the external O-ring (9), there is no need to use sealing elements such as Teflon etc. when installing the filter according to the invention to the boiler system.

[0050] After the magnetic boiler filter according to the invention is connected to the system, the moving part (10) in the body (1) cuts the water flow towards the boiler and directs the water flow towards the filter. Thanks to the spring (11) in the combi boiler filter of the invention, the moving part (10) is provided to close the water flow tightly. In addition, the tabs (12) on the connection part (7) also help to fix the moving part (10).

[0051] The metal particles in the water taken into the body (1) with the help of the moving part (10) are collected on the cleaning apparatus (5) thanks to the neodymium magnet (4). In the absence of the cleaning apparatus (5), metal oxides are collected directly on the outer surface of the cylindrical cavity in the cover, i.e. the magnet (4). In this case, the cleaning of the filter becomes difficult. In addition, since the magnet is strong and the particles collected are very small, the cleaning process is not complete. Thanks to the cleaning apparatus (5), all metal oxides are collected in the cleaning apparatus. After the filter is opened and the cleaning apparatus (5) is removed, the metal particles are easily cleaned with water. In addition, particles, wastes etc. other than metal particles are collected on the wire filter (6) in the filter according to the invention. The water passed through the wire filter (6) and purified from metal particles is returned to the system through the gap between the moving part (10) and the tabs (12) and delivered to the boiler. (Figure 3)

[0052] In this way, the magnetic boiler filter can be installed very easily in the boiler system and the magnetic cleaning process is provided easily.

[0053] Thanks to the invented magnetic boiler filter, heat, efficiency and energy losses that occur in boilers over time are eliminated and the working life of the boilers is extended.
