[0037] The left and right U-shaped metal fittings 12L, 12R and the right U-shaped metal fitting 13R shown in FIG. 4 have the same structure as the left U-shaped metal fitting 13L.

[0038] <Method of Operating Door Locking Device 7> First, an operation for transitioning the left and right doors 4L, 4R from an unlocked state to a locked state will be described.

[0039] As shown in Figure 3, when the door locking device 7 is in the unlocked state, the operating lever 21 is rotated to the right, and the lever-side protrusion 27 is inserted into the right U-shaped metal fitting 12R, while the left U-shaped metal fitting 12L is pulled out.

[0040] The lever-side protrusion 28 is inserted into the right U-shaped metal fitting 13R and pulled out from the left U-shaped metal fitting 13L. The lower horizontal surface of the right U-shaped metal fitting 13R is inserted between the locking piece 31 and the tip side portion 34 of the lever-side locking portion 30, and the lower horizontal surface of the right U-shaped metal fitting 13R is locked with the inclined portion 32 of the lever-side locking portion 30. Locked by this lever-side locking portion 30, the operating lever 21 is stopped in the position shown in FIG. 3.

[0041] When the door locking device 7 is transitioned from an unlocked state to a locked state, the user grasps the lever side operating part 25 and pulls it to the right, thereby rotating the operating lever 21 further to the right and moving it away from the lower horizontal surface of the right U-shaped metal fitting 13R, the inclined part 32 and the locking piece 31, and releasing the lock of the right U-shaped metal fitting 13R by the lever side locking part 30.

[0042] After this, the user pushes the lever side operating part 25 upward to enable the lever side locking part 30 of the operating lever 21 to be inserted into the inside of the right U-shaped metal fitting 13R, and then the user pushes the lever side operating part 25 to the left to insert the lever side locking part 30 into the inside of the right U-shaped metal fitting 13R, insert the tip side of the lever side protrusion 27 into the left U-shaped metal fitting 12L, and insert the tip side part 34 of the lever side protrusion 28 into the left U-shaped metal fitting 13L.

[0043] Thereafter, the user pushes down the lever side operating portion 25 to move the lever side locking portion 30 of the operating lever 21 downward from between the lower horizontal surfaces of the left and right U-shaped metal fittings 13L, 13R.

[0044] Thereafter, the user pushes the lever-side operating unit 25 to the left, whereby the lower horizontal surface of the left U-shaped metal fitting 13L is inserted between the locking piece 31 of the lever-side locking part 30 and the tip side part 34, and the locking piece 31 of the lever-side locking part 30 is locked from below by the lower horizontal surface of the left U-shaped metal fitting 13L. As a result, the door locking device 7 enters the locked state shown in Figure 2, and the left and right double-door doors 4L, 4R are closed by the door locking device 7.

[0045] In this state, the engagement between the locking piece 31 of the lever side locking portion 30 and the lower horizontal surface of the left U-shaped metal fitting 13L prevents the lever side locking portion 30 from moving above the lower horizontal surface of the left and right U-shaped metal fittings 13L, 13R, thereby ensuring locking by the door locking device 7.

[0046] Furthermore, when the tip side portion 34 of the lever side protrusion 28 is inserted into the left U-shaped metal fitting 13L and the operating lever 21 has moved downward toward the door surface of the left door 4L, when the operating lever 21 rotates toward the left door 4L, the inclined portion 33 that slopes to the left of the lever side locking portion 30 engages with the right U-shaped metal fitting 13R, thereby stopping the rotation of the operating lever 21 toward the left door 4L, and the inclined portion 33 guides the operating lever 21 downward, preventing the tip side portion 34 of the lever side protrusion 28 from coming out of the left U-shaped metal fitting 13L, thereby ensuring reliable locking by the door locking device 7.

[0047] After the door lock device 7 has been locked, the left and right door lock devices 6L and 6R are operated to perform double locking on the left and right doors 4L and 4R.

[0048] When the left and right doors 4L and 4R are changed from a locked state to an unlocked state, the operation is reversed from that for changing from the unlocked state to the locked state.

[0049] <Summary of the configuration and operation of the embodiment of the present invention> The configuration and operation of the embodiment of the present invention will be summarized below.
