[0040] Example interface interactions
[0041] Example interface interactions according to embodiments of the present disclosure will be described below with reference to FIGS. 2A-2C. FIGS. 2A-2C illustrate example interfaces 200A-200C according to some embodiments of the present disclosure. The example playback interfaces can be implemented by a suitable electronic device or combination of electronic devices (e.g., the electronic device 110, the server 130, or a combination of one or more of these devices in FIG. 1).
[0042] FIG. 2A illustrates an example interface 200A according to some embodiments of the present disclosure. The interface 200A may, for example, be a playback interface for a media content 205. In some embodiments, the media content 205 can be an item of media content in an information stream associated with the interface 200A. As an example, the media content 205 may, for example, include video content, text-image content, etc.
[0043] As shown in FIG. 2A, the interface 200A can display media information associated with the media content 205, e.g., a title, author, description text, etc. Additionally, the interface 200A may, for example, also provide one or more interactive components related to the media content 205.
[0044] In some other scenarios, the playback interface for the media content 205 may, for example, also have other suitable styles.
[0045] In some embodiments, the electronic device 110 may, for example, receive a user selection of the entry 208 and can accordingly display the interface 200B as shown in FIG. 2B. As shown in FIG. 2B, the electronic device 110 can display an information panel 210 in the interface 200B.
[0046] In some embodiments, the electronic device 110 can display the full text content of the media content 205 in the information panel 210, e.g., the full title or description text, etc.
[0047] Additionally, the electronic device 110 can also display a set of interactive components in the information panel 210, e.g., the interactive component 215-1, the interactive component 215-2, and the interactive component 215-3. In some embodiments, the electronic device 110 may, for example, also receive a user swipe operation to reveal more interactive components.
[0048] In some embodiments, the interactive component 215-1 and the interactive component 215-2 can correspond to entities related to the media content 205. An entity can include any appropriate object or concept, such as a music object, a user object, a merchandise object, and the like.
[0049] As an example, the interactive component 215-1 can correspond to "Entity 1", and the interactive component 215-2 can correspond to "Entity 2". The specific determination process of "Entity 1" and "Entity 2" will be described in detail below with reference to FIG. 3, which is not elaborated here.
[0050] As shown in FIG. 2B, taking the interactive component 215-1 as an example, the interactive component 215-1 can display the description information of "Entity 1". As an example, such description information can include the entity identifier (e.g., name) of "Entity 1", the type (e.g., merchandise object) of "Entity 1".
[0051] Additionally, the description information can also include images associated with "Entity 1". In some embodiments, the images associated with "Entity 1" can include image content in the media content 205 corresponding to "Entity 1", such as a frame in the video content corresponding to "Entity 1".
[0052] Additionally, the images associated with "Entity 1" can include preset image content associated with "Entity 1". For example, taking the merchandise object as "Entity 1" as an example, the image can be an image of the merchandise object stored in the merchandise library.
[0053] In some embodiments, the electronic device 110 can receive the user's selection of the interactive component 215-1, and can accordingly present the interface 200C as shown in FIG. 2C. The interface 200C can also be referred to as a search interface, for example.
[0054] In some embodiments, the display order of the interactive component 215-1 and the interactive component 215-2 in the interface 200B and / or the interface 200C can be determined based on the degree of association of the corresponding entity with the media content 205. For example, the display priority of the interactive component 215-1 corresponding to "Entity 1" with a higher degree of association with the media content 205-1 can be higher than the interactive component 215-2.
[0055] As shown in FIG. 2C, the electronic device 110 can display the interactive components 215-1 to 215-3 in the interface 200C. Additionally, the electronic device 110 can display a set of search results corresponding to "Entity 1" in the interface 200C, such as the search result 220-1 and the search result 220-2.
[0056] In some embodiments, the search result 220-1 and the search result 220-2 can be searched by taking the name of "entity 1" as a query item. In some scenarios, the query item can include a search word of a proper type.
[0057] In some embodiments, the electronic device 110 can also receive a selection of the interactive component 215-2, and accordingly display a set of search results corresponding to "entity 2".
[0058] Thus, embodiments of the present disclosure can provide an interactive component in a play interface of target media content to support a user to quickly search for an entity related to the target media content, thereby improving the efficiency of the user to obtain information.
[0059] In some embodiments, as shown in FIGS. 2B and 2C, the interactive component 215-3 can be associated with a preset query item. For example, the interactive component 215-3 can be used to trigger display of a set of search results corresponding to the preset query item. In some embodiments, the search results triggered to be displayed by the interactive component 215-3 may, for example, include a set of media contents determined to be searched based on the preset query item, such as similar videos.
[0060] In some embodiments, the interactive component 215-3 can display an image associated with the media content 205. As an example, the image can be a cover or a specific video frame (e.g., a first frame) of the media content 205.
[0061] Additionally, as shown in FIG. 2C, the electronic device 110 can also display an input control 225 in the search interface 200C. The input control 225 may, for example, be associated with the media content 205.
[0062] As an example, the electronic device 110 can obtain a target query item input by a user through the input control 225, and can accordingly display a set of search results in the search interface 200C. In some embodiments, the set of search results can be determined not only based on the target query item, but also based on the media content 205. For example, the determination of the set of search results can be based on context information related to the media content 205 to improve the quality of the search results.
[0063] A specific process of determining an entity related to the media content 205 will be further described below with reference to FIG. 3. FIG. 3 shows a flowchart 300 of determining an entity according to some embodiments of the present disclosure.
[0064] As shown in FIG. 3, the server 130 can obtain reference information 305 associated with the media content 205, and can determine a set of candidate entities 315 based on the reference information 305 by using an entity recognition unit 310.
[0065] In some embodiments, the reference information 305 can include textual content of the media content 205, e.g., a title, a description text. Alternatively or additionally, the reference information 305 can include text determined based on images and / or speech of the media content 205. For example, the reference information 305 can include text extracted from the media content 205 by a speech recognition unit (e.g., ASR) or an optical character recognition unit (e.g., OCR).
[0066] Alternatively or additionally, the reference information 305 can also include interactive content associated with the media content 205. Such interactive content can include, for example, comment content of the media content 205, query terms entered in browsing the media content 205, etc.
[0067] In some embodiments, the server 130 can implement the entity recognition unit 305 with any suitable entity extraction technique. For example, the server 130 can utilize a generative model to extract a set of candidate entities 315 from the reference information 305.
[0068] Additionally, as shown in FIG. 3, the server 130 can also obtain frame information 320 of the media content 205 and determine a set of image frames 330 with an image frame extraction unit 325. As an example, the image frame extraction unit 325 can be implemented with any suitable image segmentation model.
[0069] Additionally, the server 130 can process the set of candidate entities 315 and the set of image frames 330 with a text-image matching model 335 to determine candidate entities and image frames that match each other, and can determine such candidate entities as entities 364 to be presented with interactive components.
[0070] As an example, such text-image matching model 335 can be implemented with suitable techniques such as cross-modal retrieval models, without intending to be limited thereto by the present disclosure.
[0071] Thus, embodiments of the present disclosure can associate entities to corresponding image frames in media content. Further, such image frames can be presented in interactive components corresponding to the entities as part of the description information of the entities.
[0072] Further, the server 130 can also perform additional search with the frame information 320. As an example, the server 130 can perform a search process in a knowledge base 340 based on the extracted image frames to determine whether there are specific knowledge objects that match the image frames.
[0073] If there is a specific knowledge object matching the image frame, the server 130 may, for example, utilize the image stored in the knowledge base as the image data corresponding to the image frame to perform the matching process with the candidate entity 315, and can be used to display in the interactive component corresponding to the entity.
[0074] As a further example, the electronic device 110 can also utilize the picture information 320 to search to determine a set of associated media content associated with the media content 205. Further, the server 130 can utilize the entity recognition unit 350 to determine a set of entities corresponding to the set of associated media content 345. Alternatively, the server 130 can also determine a set of query terms by which the set of associated media content 345 can be searched.
[0075] Further, the server 130 can also utilize the image-text matching model 360 to perform the matching of the determined candidate image frame with the set of entities and / or the set of query terms. Further, the server 130 can utilize the matched entities and / or query terms as the preset query terms corresponding to the interactive component 215-3.
[0076] In this way, embodiments of the present disclosure can determine entities related to media content, and can establish the association between the picture and the entity, thereby improving the quality of the determined entities.
