Abstract
Description
ventilation hood
[0001] The present disclosure relates to a ventilation hood provided in a housing that houses electrical equipment.

[0003] Japanese Patent Application Publication No. 2013-174434
[0004] However, when a ventilation hood is installed on a housing, the ventilation hood is attached so that it protrudes from the surface of the housing. Therefore, when the housing is transported, there is a possibility that the external dimensions of the housing, including the ventilation hood, will not comply with the regulations of the Road Traffic Act. In this case, the housing must be transported with the ventilation hood removed, which incurs additional transportation costs for the ventilation hood. Furthermore, the ventilation hood must be attached to the housing at the destination, further increasing costs.
[0005] One object of the present disclosure is to provide a fume hood that can be attached to an enclosure during transportation of the enclosure.
[0006] One aspect of the present disclosure relates to a ventilation hood provided in a housing that stores electrical equipment. The ventilation hood is made of a plurality of metal plates and is configured to be foldable. One of the plurality of metal plates is fixedly attached to the housing. The plurality of metal plates have a nested structure. When ventilating the inside of the housing, one or more other metal plates are deployed from the one metal plate to connect the interior and exterior of the housing.
[0007] According to the present disclosure, the ventilation hood is made of multiple metal plates and is configured to be foldable. One of the multiple metal plates is fixedly attached to the housing, and the multiple metal plates have a nested structure. When ventilating the housing, one or more metal plates other than the one metal plate are unfolded from the single metal plate to connect the indoor and outdoor areas of the housing. This allows the housing to be transported with the ventilation hood attached. This makes it possible to reduce the costs of transporting the housing and performing on-site work.
[0008] It is a diagram for explaining an outline of a ventilated housing, a diagram for explaining a first configuration example of a ventilation hood, and a diagram for explaining a second configuration example of a ventilation hood.
[0009] A ventilation hood according to an embodiment of the present disclosure will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings. Elements common to the various drawings will be designated by the same reference numerals, and redundant description will be omitted.
[0010] 1. Overview of the Ventilated Enclosure FIGS. 1(A) and 1(B) are diagrams for explaining an overview of the ventilated enclosure 1. The ventilated enclosure 1 includes a enclosure 2 and a ventilation hood 10. The enclosure 2 is a portable enclosure that is installed outdoors. The enclosure 2 comes in various sizes. For example, the enclosure 2 may be a container sized in accordance with ISO standards. The enclosure 2 is also referred to as an enclosure. The enclosure 2 houses electrical equipment 5. Examples of the electrical equipment 5 include a power receiving device for supplying power to a load in a factory or the like (e.g., a device driven by a DC power source, a device equipped with an inverter, etc.), a power conditioner for solar panels, etc.
[0011] The ventilation hood 10 is used to ventilate the air inside the housing 2. One purpose of the ventilation hood 10 is to cool the internal temperature of the housing 2. For example, because the housing 2 houses an electrical device 5, the internal temperature of the housing 2 rises when the electrical device 5 is operating. To cool the internal temperature of the housing 2, the ventilation hood 10 is provided, for example, at the air intake and exhaust ports of the housing 2. This allows the internal temperature of the housing 2 to be cooled by using a fan provided inside the housing 2 to draw in outside air and exhaust the hot air inside the housing 2 to the outside. The ventilation hood 10 also prevents rain, dust, snow, etc. from entering when drawing in outside air, thereby preventing malfunction of the electrical device 5.
[0012] 2. Specific Examples of Ventilation Hoods Two examples will be described below as specific examples of the ventilation hood 10 that can be attached to the housing 2 when the housing 2 is transported.
[0013] 2-1. First Example FIGS. 2(A) and 2(B) are diagrams illustrating a first configuration example of the ventilation hood 10. In the first configuration example, the ventilation hood 10 is made up of a plurality of metal plates 11, as shown in FIG. 2(A). The plurality of metal plates 11 are made up of, for example, metal plates 11A, 11B, 11C, and 11D. The plurality of metal plates 11 have, for example, a gate-like shape and include an inclined top plate.
[0014] The plurality of metal plates 11 have a nested structure, and the heights of the metal plates 11 are different. In the example shown in Fig. 2A, the heights of the metal plates 11 decrease in the order of 11A, 11B, 11C, and 11D.
[0015] As shown in FIG. 2(B), one of the multiple metal plates 11 (e.g., metal plate 11A) is fixedly attached to the housing 2. As shown in FIG. 2(C), one or more other metal plates (e.g., metal plates 11B, 11C, and 11D) other than the one metal plate 11 (e.g., metal plate 11A) are deployed from the one metal plate 11 (e.g., metal plate 11A) to connect the indoor and outdoor areas of the housing 2 during ventilation inside the housing 2. Specifically, the other one or more other metal plates (e.g., metal plates 11B, 11C, and 11D) are attached so as to be movable in a direction perpendicular to the side of the housing 2 to which the one metal plate (e.g., metal plate 11A) is attached. The other one or more other metal plates (e.g., metal plates 11B, 11C, and 11D) are deployed so as to move successively away from the one metal plate (e.g., metal plate 11A).
[0016] As described above, the ventilation hood 10 according to the first configuration example is configured to be foldable. Fig. 2(B) shows the ventilation hood 10 in a folded state, and Fig. 2(C) shows the ventilation hood 10 in an unfolded state. This allows the housing 2 to be transported with the ventilation hood 10 attached to it.
[0017] Furthermore, the ventilation hood 10 may have a locking mechanism 12 for fixing the adjacent metal plates 11 when the ventilation hood 10 is deployed, so that the ventilation hood 10 can maintain its deployed state even when it is affected by external disturbances such as wind.
[0018] 2-2. Second Example FIGS. 3(A), 3(B), and 3(C) are diagrams illustrating a second configuration example of the ventilation hood 10. In the second configuration example, the ventilation hood 10 is made up of a plurality of metal plates 13, as shown in FIG. 3(A). The plurality of metal plates 13 are made up of, for example, metal plates 13A, 13B, 13C, and 13D. The plurality of metal plates 13 include a top plate and have a gate-like shape. Furthermore, the plurality of metal plates 13 have a fan-like shape in side view.
[0019] The plurality of metal plates 13 have a nested structure, and the heights of the metal plates 13 are different. In the example shown in Fig. 3A, the heights of the metal plates 13A, 13B, 13C, and 13D decrease in this order.
[0020] As shown in Fig. 3(B) , one of the multiple metal plates 13 (e.g., metal plate 13A) is fixedly attached to the housing 2. As shown in Fig. 3(C) , one or more metal plates (e.g., metal plates 13B, 13C, 13D) other than one metal plate 13 (e.g., metal plate 13A) are deployed from the metal plate 13 (e.g., metal plate 13A) to connect the indoor and outdoor areas of the housing 2 during ventilation inside the housing 2. Specifically, the one or more metal plates 13 (e.g., metal plate 13B, 13C, 13D) are rotatably attached around a rotation axis 14 provided on one metal plate 13 (e.g., metal plate 13A) and are deployed so as to rotate sequentially relative to the one metal plate 13 (e.g., metal plate 13A).
[0021] As described above, the ventilation hood 10 according to the second configuration example is configured to be foldable. Fig. 3(B) shows the ventilation hood 10 in a folded state, and Fig. 3(C) shows the ventilation hood 10 in an unfolded state. This allows the housing 2 to be transported with the ventilation hood 10 attached to it.
[0022] Note that one metal plate 13 fixedly attached to the housing 2 may be the metal plate 13 with the lowest height (e.g., metal plate 13D). In this case, the other one or more metal plates 13 are metal plates 13 (e.g., metal plates 13A, 13B, 13C) other than the metal plate 13 with the lowest height. The other one or more metal plates 13 (e.g., metal plates 13A, 13B, 13C) may be deployed so as to move successively away from one metal plate 13 (e.g., metal plate 13D) so as to connect the indoor and outdoor spaces of the housing 2 during ventilation inside the housing 2.
[0023] Furthermore, the ventilation hood 10 may have a locking mechanism 12 for fixing adjacent metal plates 13 when the ventilation hood 10 (one or more metal plates 13) is deployed, so that the ventilation hood 10 can maintain its deployed state even when it is affected by external disturbances such as wind.
[0024] 3. Effect According to the present disclosure, the ventilation hood is made of multiple metal plates and is configured to be foldable.
