Claims

1. A display system for a work vehicle comprising: a display device that displays information related to a work machine as display items; a selection device that can accept an operation to select the display items; and a controller that controls the display on the display device, wherein when a display item is selected by the selection device, the controller displays an icon image corresponding to the display item on a screen after selection, and when the selected display item has a hierarchy, the controller displays an icon image corresponding to the selected display item and icon images corresponding to display items that are higher in the hierarchy than the selected display item.

2. A work vehicle display system as described in claim 1, wherein when a display item is selected by the selection device, the controller displays an icon image corresponding to the display item on the left side of the screen after selection, and displays the selected display item on the right side of the icon image.

3. A work vehicle display system as described in claim 1, wherein the selection device is a jog dial, and the controller displays the icon image in a strip-shaped area that is positioned on the left side of the screen after selection and has a curved shape that is convex to the right.

4. A work vehicle display system as described in claim 1, wherein the controller displays an icon image corresponding to the display item at a level one level higher than the level of the selected display item when there are two or more levels higher than the selected display item.

5. A work vehicle display system according to claim 1, wherein the information relating to the work machine is information displayed on a menu screen and a setting screen for performing various settings relating to the work vehicle.

6. The display system for a work vehicle according to claim 5, wherein the information relating to the work machine is information relating to monitoring, meter display selection, brightness adjustment, clock adjustment, and language setting.

7. A work vehicle display system as described in claim 1, wherein when a display item is selected by the selection device, the controller displays an icon image corresponding to the display item together with the display item on the screen after selection.

8. A work vehicle display method executed by a work vehicle display system, comprising: displaying information relating to a work machine as display items on a display device; when a display item is selected by a selection device capable of receiving an operation to select the display item, displaying an icon image corresponding to the display item on a screen after selection; and when the selected display item has a hierarchy, displaying an icon image corresponding to the selected display item and icon images corresponding to display items in a hierarchy higher than the selected display item.

A work vehicle display method as set forth in claim 8, wherein, when a display item is selected by the selection device, an icon image corresponding to the display item is displayed on the left side of the screen after selection, and the selected display item is displayed on the right side of the icon image.

10. A work vehicle display method according to claim 8, wherein the selection device is a jog dial, and the icon image is displayed in a strip-shaped area that is positioned on the left side of the screen after selection and has a curved shape that is convex to the right.

11. A work vehicle display method as described in claim 8, wherein, when there are two or more levels higher than the selected display item, an icon image corresponding to the display item at the level one level higher than the level of the selected display item is displayed.

12. A work vehicle display method according to claim 8, wherein the information relating to the work machine is information displayed on a menu screen and a setting screen for performing various settings relating to the work vehicle.
