[0101] The above mover (40) can block the opening (C1) when in contact with the lower end of the case (30) and open the opening (C1) when moving downward from the lower end of the case (30). When the mover (40) opens the opening (C1), air can pass through the internal space of the case (30) and be discharged into the indoor space through the opening (C1).

[0102] The above diffuser body (15) may include a coupling flange (35) provided on the outer surface of the case (30). The coupling flange (35) has a ring shape and may be fixed to the outer surface of the case (30).

[0103] The above-mentioned coupling flange (35) may be arranged to be fitted into a fixed bracket (20) supported by an opening (C1) of the ceiling (C). For example, the above-mentioned coupling flange (35) may include a portion arranged on the inner circumferential surface of the above-mentioned fixed bracket (20).

[0106] The above case (30) may include an upper surface (31). The upper surface (31) provides a support surface for supporting a plurality of components and may be formed to have a ring shape.

[0107] An opening (31a) may be formed to form a space for a moving part (hereinafter, a moving part) for the up-and-down movement of the above mover (40). The opening (31a) may form a part of a passage through which air passes.

[0108] The above moving part may include a rack gear (70) coupled to the mover (40). The rack gear (70) may be coupled with a pinion gear (52). The pinion gear (52) is axially coupled to the driving motor (50) and may rotate by the driving of the driving motor (50).

[0109] The above rack gear (70) may include a rack body (71) having a length in the vertical direction and a plurality of gear teeth (72) protruding from the rack body (71) and interlocked with the pinion gear (52).

[0110] The above driving motor (50) may be a bidirectional motor that can be driven in both directions.

[0111] In detail, when the driving motor (50) rotates in one direction, the rack gear (70) can open the mover (40) while moving in the first direction in the process of interlocking with the pinion gear (52). Conversely, when the driving motor (50) rotates in the other direction, the rack gear (70) can close the mover (40) while moving in the second direction in the process of interlocking with the pinion gear (52).

[0112] For example, the first direction may be downward, and the second direction may be upward.

[0113] The above diffuser body (15) may include a rack support plate (60) that supports the rack gear (70). The rack support plate (60) may be provided at the top of the rack gear (70). That is, the rack gear (70) may extend downward from the rack support plate (60).

[0118] In order to guide the movement of the plurality of legs (62), the case (30) may include a guide bracket (64). The guide bracket (64) is provided on the upper surface (31) of the case (30) and may be configured to protrude upward from the upper surface (31), for example.

[0119] The above guide brackets (64) may be provided in multiple numbers corresponding to the number of the above multiple legs (62).

[0120] The above diffuser body (15) may include a guide member (63) that is movably supported on the guide bracket (64). The guide member (63) may be provided on the leg (62) to form a “rail” for stable movement of the rack gear (70). For example, the guide member (63) may be provided to protrude from the outer surface of the leg (62).

[0121] At least a portion of the above guide member (63) can be accommodated and supported in the groove of the above guide bracket (64) and can extend in a vertical direction.

[0122] The above guide member (63) may be provided in multiple numbers corresponding to the number of the multiple legs (62).

[0123] The above diffuser body (15) may include a stopper (80, 85) for setting a limit of the movement distance when the rack gear (70) moves in the up-and-down direction. The stopper (80, 85) may be provided on the upper surface (31) of the case (30).

[0124] At least a first portion of the stopper (80, 85) may be supported on the upper surface (31), and the other second portion may be arranged on the opening (31a) side of the upper surface (31). When the rack gear (70) moves downward to the maximum opening distance, the rack support plate (60) may interfere with the upper surface of the second portion, thereby restricting further downward movement.

[0125] The above stoppers (80, 85) are provided in multiple numbers, and the multiple stoppers (80, 85) can be arranged spaced apart from each other in the circumferential direction of the opening (31a).

[0126] The above diffuser body (15) may include a moving guide (36) provided on the inside of the case (30). The moving guide (36) may include an outer surface facing the inner surface of the case (30).

[0127] The above moving guide (36) has a hollow cylindrical shape, and a moving plate (75) may be provided slidably on the inside of the moving guide (36). The moving plate (75) is connected to the rack gear (70) and may be coupled to the mover (40).

[0128] The moving plate (75) and the mover (40) may be fastened by a predetermined fastening member or bonded by an adhesive. The moving plate (75) and the rack gear (70) may be fastened by a predetermined fastening member or may be formed as an integral part of each other. For example, the moving plate (75), the mover (40), and the rack gear (70) may be fastened by a single fastening member.

[0129] The method of combining the above moving plate (75), mover (40) and rack gear (70) may not be limited to any one.

[0130] A guide flange (37) supporting the coupling flange (35) may be provided at the lower end of the moving guide (36). In a state where the mover (40) shields the opening (C1) of the ceiling (C), the shielding plate (41) of the mover (40) may be positioned on the lower surface of the guide flange (37).

[0131] Let me suggest another example.

[0132] The above moving guide (36) may be omitted, and the moving plate (75) may be provided to be able to slide along the inner surface of the case (30).

[0133] The above mover (40) may include a shielding plate (41) capable of shielding the opening (C1) of the ceiling (C). The size of the shielding plate (41) may be larger than the size of the opening (C1) so that the shielding plate (41) can completely shield the opening (C1).

[0134] The above mover (40) may include a column (42) extending upward from the shielding plate (41). The column (42) is provided approximately at the center of the shielding plate (41), and the diameter of the column (42) may be smaller than the diameter of the shielding plate (41).

[0135] The column (42) has a roughly cylindrical shape, and the outer surface of the column (42) may include a guide surface (43) that guides the flow of air. The guide surface (43) may include a portion that extends roundly so that the air is smoothly directed in the radial direction at a portion where the column (42) and the shielding plate (41) are connected.

[0136] The above column (42) may include an upper surface (42a) coupled to the moving plate (75). When the driving motor (50) is driven, the rack gear (70), the moving plate (75), and the mover (40) can move upward or downward as one unit.

[0137] The above case (30) may include a protrusion (39) that interferes with the moving plate (37) when the mover (40) moves upward a maximum distance. That is, the protrusion (39) may function as a “stopper.”

[0138] The above jaw (39) may protrude in an inner radial direction from the inner surface of the upper surface (31). In a state where the upper end of the moving plate (37) interferes with the jaw (39), additional upward movement of the mover (40) may be restricted.

[0139] For convenience of explanation, the stopper (80, 85) may be named “first stopper” and the jaw (39) may be named “second stopper”.

[0140] FIG. 8 is a cross-sectional view showing a mover according to a first embodiment of the present invention opening an opening in a ceiling to discharge air, FIG. 9 is a drawing showing a concentrated air supply from a diffuser according to a first embodiment of the present invention toward a kitchen hood, and FIG. 10 is a simulation drawing showing a discharge of air from a hood toward a duct when air is supplied from a diffuser according to a first embodiment of the present invention.

[0141] First, referring to FIGS. 7 and 8, when the mover (40) is in the maximum elevation position as shown in FIG. 7, the shielding plate (41) of the mover (40) can shield the opening (C1) of the ceiling (C). In addition, the moving plate (75) can interfere with the chin (39) of the case (30).

[0142] Since the opening (31a) of the upper surface (31) is covered by the moving plate (75), air can be restricted from flowing through the opening (31a) to the opening (C1) of the ceiling (C).

[0143] In the state of Fig. 7, when the driving motor (50) is driven in one direction, the rack gear (70) can move downward by the interlocking of the pinion gear (52) and the rack gear (70). The rack gear (70) can stably move downward together with the rack support plate (60) and the plurality of legs (62) while being supported by the rack support plate (60) and the plurality of legs (62).

[0144] In the process of the above rack gear (70) moving downward, at least a portion of the rack gear (70), the rack support plate (60) and the plurality of legs (62) may be located inside the opening (31a) of the case (30).

[0145] The downward movement distance of the rack gear (70) can be adjusted by the rotation amount of the drive motor (50). For example, when the amount of air to be supplied to the indoor space is large, the downward movement distance of the rack gear (70) can be relatively large. The maximum downward movement distance of the rack gear (70) can be until the rack support plate (60) interferes with the stopper (80, 85).

[0146] Conversely, when the amount of air to be supplied to the indoor space is small, the downward movement distance of the rack gear (70) may be relatively small. That is, when the maximum downward movement distance of the rack gear (70) is D1, the movement distance of the rack gear (70) may be determined at a value greater than 0 and less than or equal to D1. Consequently, the amount of air discharged to the indoor space can be easily controlled depending on the opening amount of the diffuser (10).

[0147] As the rack gear (70) moves downward, the moving plate (70) and mover (40) coupled to the rack gear (70) can move downward together.

[0148] Accordingly, the moving plate (75) can open the opening (31a) of the upper surface (31), and the shielding plate (41) can open the opening (C1) by moving downward away from the opening (C1) of the ceiling (C).

[0149] Air flowing through the above-described supply duct (7, see Fig. 1) can be supplied to the indoor space through the open opening (31a) and the opening (C1). Air flowing through the internal space of the case (30) can be guided in the outer radial direction of the shielding plate (41) by the guide surface (43) of the column (42) and discharged into the indoor space.

[0150] Referring to FIGS. 9 and 10, when the diffuser (10) according to the first embodiment of the present invention is installed on the ceiling (C) of the kitchen (K), the air discharged from the diffuser (10) can be directed toward the space where the cooking appliance (M) is installed. That is, the diffuser (10) can be located on the upper ceiling of the space where the cooking appliance (M) is installed.

[0151] The above cooking device (M) is provided on the upper surface of the table (T), and a hood (H) may be installed adjacent to the cooking device (M). The hood (H) is installed in the opening (T1) of the table (T), and may be understood as a device for sucking in steam generated during the cooking process of the cooking device (M) and discharging it to the outdoors.

[0152] A duct (F) is embedded in the bottom surface of the above table (T), and the duct (F) can be connected to the hood (H). Accordingly, the vapor sucked in the hood (H) can be discharged to the outdoors through the duct (F). Such a hood can be called a "downdraft hood."

[0153] Even if the above hood (H) is equipped, if the amount of steam generated from the cooking appliance (M) is large, the steam may not be completely absorbed by the hood (H) and may spread to a wide space in the kitchen (K), which may cause a problem.

[0154] In order to prevent such problems, the present embodiment installs a diffuser (10) on the upper ceiling (C) of the table (T) and discharges concentrated air toward the hood (H), thereby helping to prevent the vapor from being widely dispersed and being sucked into the hood (H). Fig. 10 is a simulation result of air flow, visually showing this effect.

[0155] It should be noted in advance that the diffuser according to the second embodiment described below can also be installed on the kitchen ceiling to achieve this effect.

[0156] FIG. 11 is an upper perspective view showing a diffuser according to a second embodiment of the present invention installed on a ceiling, FIG. 12 is a lower perspective view showing a diffuser according to a second embodiment of the present invention installed on a ceiling, FIG. 13 is an exploded perspective view of a diffuser according to a second embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 14 is an enlarged view of part "A" of FIG. 13, FIG. 15 is an enlarged view of part "B" of FIG. 13, and FIG. 16 is a view of a diffuser according to a second embodiment of the present invention when viewed from the "W" direction of FIG. 11.

[0157] Referring to FIGS. 11 to 16, a diffuser (100) according to a second embodiment of the present invention may be installed on a ceiling (C) of an indoor space. The diffuser (100) may include a mover (150) that moves up and down or left and right so as to control the amount or discharge direction of air to be supplied to the indoor space.

[0158] In detail, the diffuser (100) may include a case (110) forming an exterior. For example, the case (110) may have a rectangular parallelepiped shape in which the length in the left-right direction is greater than the height in the up-down direction.

[0159] The above case (110) can form an opening (112, 116) through which air supplied from the supply duct (7) passes. Air passing through the opening (112, 116) can be supplied to the indoor space through the opening (C1) of the ceiling (C).

[0160] The above case (110) may include a first case (111) and a second case (115). The first case (111) may form an upper case, and the second case (115) may form a lower case.

[0161] The first case (111) and the second case (115) may each have the shape of a polyhedron with an empty interior so as to form a space therein.

[0162] The above first case (111) may include a first opening (112).

[0163] The first case (111) includes a plurality of support plates (113), and a plurality of components can be mounted on the plurality of support plates (113). The support plate (113) is provided at an end forming a first opening (112) of the first case (111) and can extend in a direction crossing the first opening (112).

[0164] The above multiple support plates (113) can be arranged in the left and right directions spaced apart from each other.

[0165] The above second case (115) can form a second opening (116).

[0166] The second opening (116) may be formed at a position that is in contact with the opening (C1) of the ceiling (C). The size of the second opening (116) corresponds to the size of the opening (C1), and air passing through the second opening (116) may be supplied to the indoor space through the opening (C1).

[0167] The above diffuser (100) may include a moving plate (180) that is provided to be movable in the internal space of the case (110). The moving plate (180) may be coupled to a mover (150).

[0168] The above moving plate (180) has a horizontal width corresponding to the horizontal width of the opening (C1) of the ceiling (C) and can have a predetermined height in the vertical direction.

[0169] The above mover (150) may be configured as a shielding plate having a size that can completely cover the opening (C1) of the ceiling (C). For example, as illustrated in Fig. 12, the left-right width of the shielding plate may form a first width (W1), and the front-back width may form a second width (W2). The first width (W1) may be larger than the second width (W2).

[0170] Define the direction. Based on Figure 11, the X-axis direction is named the left-right direction, the Y-axis direction is named the front-back direction, and the Z-axis direction is named the up-down direction.

[0171] The above diffuser (100) may include a frame (125) that is coupled to the outside of the case (100) and supports a plurality of components. The frame (125) may include a frame bracket (126) that is provided at a position corresponding to the support plate (113) of the first case (111).

[0172] The above frame brackets (126) may be provided in multiple numbers corresponding to the multiple support plates (113), and the multiple frame brackets (126) may be arranged at positions supported by the multiple support plates (113).

[0173] The above diffuser (100) may include a driving mechanism for moving the mover (150). The driving mechanism may include a first driving mechanism for moving the mover (150) in a first direction and a second driving mechanism for moving it in a second direction.

[0174] The first driving mechanism and the second driving mechanism may be supported by at least one of the case (110) and the frame (125).

[0175] The first driving mechanism and the second driving mechanism are supported on the upper part of the case (110), and the moving plate (180) can extend downward from the first and second driving mechanisms and be positioned in the internal space of the case (110).

[0176] The above first driving mechanism can be understood as a driving mechanism for moving the mover (150) in a first direction, for example, in the up-down direction.

[0177] The first driving mechanism may include a first driving motor (130). The first driving motor (130) may be a bidirectional rotary motor that rotates in one direction to move the mover (150) downward and rotates in the other direction to move it upward.

[0178] The above first driving mechanism may include a first rotation shaft (132) that is coupled to and rotates the first driving motor (130).

[0179] The first driving mechanism may include a first pinion gear (133) coupled to an end of the first rotation shaft (132). The first pinion gear (133) may rotate together with the first rotation shaft (132).

[0180] The first driving mechanism may include a first rack gear (145) that is coupled to the first pinion gear (133). The first rack gear (145) has a plate shape and may include a plurality of gear teeth (145a) formed in an up-down direction. The first rack gear (145) may move downward or upward during the process of being coupled to the first pinion gear (133).

[0181] The first driving mechanism may include a moving guide (144) that guides the movement of the first rack gear (145). The moving guide (144) performs a rail function for the movement of the first rack gear (145) and may be fixed to the rack bracket (143) of the support bracket (140).

[0182] Since the above mover (150) is formed long in the left-right direction, the first pinion gear (133) and the first rack gear (145) may be provided on both sides with respect to the first driving motor (130) in order to ensure smooth movement of the mover (150).

[0183] That is, a first rotation shaft (132) extends to both sides of the first drive motor (130), and one first pinion gear (133) can be connected to one end of the first rotation shaft (132) and another first pinion gear (133) can be connected to the other end.

[0184] And, one of the two first rack gears (145) can be connected to the first pinion gear (133) and the other can be connected to the other first pinion gear (133).

[0185] The first driving motor (130) is positioned approximately at the center of the diffuser (100), and the two first rack gears (145) can be positioned symmetrically with respect to the first driving motor (130).

[0186] The above diffuser (100) may include a support bracket (140) for supporting components of the first driving mechanism. The support bracket (140) may be provided at the top of the case (110).

[0187] The above support bracket (140) can be movably supported on the upper side of the frame (125). For example, the support bracket (140) can move forward and backward according to the operation of the second driving mechanism described later.

[0188] The above support bracket (140) may have a shape of a bar that is formed long in the left and right directions to support the components of the first driving mechanism.

[0189] The above support bracket (140) may include a first motor bracket (141) that supports the first drive motor (130). The first motor bracket (141) may be positioned approximately at the center of the support bracket (140) and configured to surround at least a portion of the first drive motor (130).

[0190] The above support bracket (140) may include a first axis bracket (142) that supports the first rotation axis (132). The first axis bracket (142) protrudes from the upper surface of the support bracket (140), and the first rotation axis (132) may extend in the left and right directions through the first axis bracket (142).

[0191] The above support bracket (140) may include a first rack bracket (143) that supports the first rack gear (145). The first rack bracket (143) may support the front of the first rack gear (145).

[0192] A moving guide (144) can be coupled to the first rack bracket (143). The moving guide (144) can be fixed to the first rack bracket (143) and protrude from the first rack bracket (143) in a direction toward the first rack gear (145).

[0193] The above moving guide (144) has a length in the vertical direction to facilitate the vertical movement of the first rack gear (145), and at least a portion of the moving guide (144) can be inserted into the groove (145b) of the first rack gear (145).

[0194] The above moving guide (144) may be provided in multiple pieces on both sides of the first rack gear (145).

[0195] When the first drive motor (130) is driven in one direction (for example, forward direction), the first rack gear (145) can move downward by the interlocking of the first rotation shaft (132), the first pinion gear (133), and the first rack gear (145). A moving plate (180) is coupled to the first rack gear (145), and the moving plate (180) moves downward by the first rack gear (145), thereby causing downward movement of the mover (150).

[0196] When the above mover (150) moves downward, the opening (C1) of the ceiling (C) is opened, and air can be supplied to the indoor space through the opened opening (C1).

[0197] When the first driving motor (130) is driven in the other direction (for example, in the reverse direction) while the mover (150) opens the opening (C1), the first rack gear (145) can move upward. As the first rack gear (145) moves upward, the moving plate (180) and the mover (150) move upward, and the mover (150) can block the opening (C1).

[0198] The above second driving mechanism can be understood as a driving mechanism for moving the mover (150) in a second direction, for example, in the forward and backward direction.

[0199] The second driving mechanism may include a second driving motor (160). The second driving motor (160) may be a bidirectional rotary motor that rotates in one direction to move the mover (150) forward and rotates in the other direction to move it backward.

[0200] The above second driving mechanism may include a second rotation shaft (162) that is coupled to and rotates the second driving motor (160).

[0201] The second driving mechanism may include a second pinion gear (164) coupled to an end of the second rotation shaft (162). The second pinion gear (164) may rotate together with the second rotation shaft (162).

[0202] The second driving mechanism may include a second rack gear (170) that is coupled to the second pinion gear (164). The second rack gear (170) may include a plurality of gear teeth (170a) formed in the front-rear direction. The second rack gear (170) may move forward or backward while being coupled to the second pinion gear (164).

[0203] The second rack gear (170) may be provided on the support bracket (140). That is, the second rack gear (170) may form at least a portion of the support bracket (140). Accordingly, when the second rack gear (170) moves, the support bracket (140) may move together with the second rack gear (170).

[0204] As described above, the support bracket (140) may include a motor bracket (141) that supports the first drive motor (130), a shaft bracket (142) that supports the rotation shaft (132), and a rack bracket (143) that supports the first rack gear (145).

[0205] Accordingly, when the support bracket (140) moves together with the second rack gear (170), the first drive motor (130), the rotation shaft (132) and the first rack gear (145) supported on the support bracket (140) can move forward or backward together.

[0206] The second driving mechanism may include a moving guide (190) that guides the movement of the second rack gear (170). The moving guide (190) performs a rail function for the movement of the second rack gear (170) and may be fixed to a frame bracket (126) of the frame (125).

[0207] The second rack gear (170) may include a sliding part (171) that is connected to the side of the plurality of gear teeth (170a) and moves along the moving guide (190).

[0208] The above moving guide (190) has a length in the front-back direction to facilitate the forward-backward movement of the second rack gear (170), and at least a portion of the moving guide (190) can be inserted into the groove (171a) of the sliding part (171). The groove (171a) can be formed on the bottom surface of the sliding part (171).

[0209] The above moving guide (190) may be provided in multiple pieces spaced apart in the horizontal direction of the case (110) or frame (125).

[0210] When the above support bracket (140) moves in the forward and backward direction, another moving guide (190) may be provided on the lower side of the support bracket (140) to ensure smooth movement of the support bracket (140).

[0211] In detail, referring to FIG. 14, a groove (146) is formed on the bottom surface of a bar-shaped support bracket (140), and at least a portion of the moving guide (190) can be accommodated in the groove (146). The support bracket (140) can slide forward or backward along the moving guide (190).

[0212] The moving guide (144) provided in the first driving mechanism may be called a “first moving guide,” and the moving guide (190) provided in the second driving mechanism may be called a “second moving guide.”

[0213] Since the above mover (150) is formed long in the left-right direction, the second pinion gear (164) and the second rack gear (170) may be provided on both sides with respect to the second driving motor (160) in order to ensure smooth movement of the mover (150).

[0214] That is, a second rotation shaft (162) extends to both sides of the second drive motor (160), and one second pinion gear (164) can be connected to one end of the second rotation shaft (162) and another second pinion gear (164) can be connected to the other end.

[0215] And, one of the two second rack gears (170) can be coupled with the second pinion gear (164) and the other can be coupled with the other second pinion gear (164).

[0216] The second driving motor (160) may be positioned approximately at the center of the diffuser (100). For example, the first driving motor (130) and the second driving motor (160) may be positioned facing each other at the center of the case (110).

[0217] The above two second rack gears (170) can be arranged at symmetrical positions with respect to the second driving motor (160).

[0218] The above frame bracket (126) may be provided at the top of the case (110) to support components of the second driving mechanism.

[0219] The above frame bracket (126) may include a second motor bracket (126a) that supports the second drive motor (160). The second motor bracket (126a) may be positioned approximately at the center of the frame (125) and configured to surround at least a portion of the second drive motor (160).

[0220] The above frame bracket (126) may include a second axis bracket (126b) that supports the second rotation axis (162). The second axis bracket (126b) protrudes from the upper surface of the frame bracket (126), and the second rotation axis (162) may extend in the left and right directions by penetrating the second axis bracket (126b).

[0221] The second axis brackets (126b) are provided in multiple numbers, and the multiple second axis brackets (126b) are spaced apart from each other on both sides of the second drive motor (160) to support the second rotational shaft (162). With this configuration, the second rotational shaft (162) having a long length in the left-right direction can be stably supported.

[0222] The second driving motor (160) can be driven in a state where the mover (150) moves downward by driving the first driving motor (130) and the opening (C1) of the ceiling (C) is open.

[0223] When the second drive motor (160) is driven while the above mover (150) opens the opening (C1), the second rack gear (170) can move forward or backward by the interlocking of the second rotation shaft (162), the second pinion gear (164), and the second rack gear (170).

[0224] As the second rack gear (170) moves, the first driving mechanism, i.e., the first driving motor (130), the first rotation shaft (132), the first pinion gear (133), and the first rack gear (145) can move together.

[0225] That is, the first rack gear (145) moves forward or backward together with the second rack gear (170), and the moving plate (180) and mover (150) coupled to the first rack gear (145) can also move forward or backward correspondingly.

[0226] Depending on the forward or backward movement of the above mover (150), the air discharged from the opening (C1) of the ceiling (C) can be discharged in a rearward direction or in a forward direction. In other words, the discharge direction of the air supplied to the indoor space can be adjusted.

[0227] FIG. 17 is a cross-sectional view taken along line 17-17 of FIG. 11, FIG. 18 is a cross-sectional view showing the mover moving downward by driving the first driving motor in the diffuser of FIG. 17, FIG. 19 is a cross-sectional view taken along line 19-19 of FIG. 18, and FIG. 20 is a cross-sectional view showing the mover moving sideways by driving the second driving motor in the diffuser of FIG. 19.

[0228] First, referring to FIG. 17, the mover (150) according to the second embodiment of the present invention may be in a position to close the opening (C1) of the ceiling (C1).

[0229] The above mover (150) is located at the lower end of the moving plate (180), and the moving plate (180) can be coupled to the lower end of the first rack gear (145).

[0230] At the position of Fig. 17, when the first driving motor (130) rotates in one direction, the first rack gear (145) moves downward by the interlocking of the first pinion gear (133) and the first rack gear (145), and the moving plate (180) coupled to the first rack gear (145) can move downward by the mover (150). The opening (C1) of the ceiling (C) can be opened by the downward movement of the mover (150) (see Fig. 18).

[0231] When the above opening (C1) is opened, the air flowing through the supply duct (7) flows into the interior of the case (110) through the first opening (112) of the case (110) and can be supplied to the indoor space through the second opening (116) and the opening (C1) of the ceiling. At this time, the air can be discharged radially along the upper surface of the mover (150).

[0232] Fig. 19 is a side cross-sectional view showing the appearance of the diffuser (100) in a state where the mover (150) moves downward and opens the opening (C1) in the ceiling.

[0233] The second drive motor (160) can be driven to control the direction of the air supplied from the location of Fig. 19.

[0234] When the second drive motor (160) rotates in one direction, the second rack gear (170) can move forward by the interlocking of the second pinion gear (164) and the second rack gear (170). As the second rack gear (170) moves, the first drive mechanism supported by the support bracket (140) can also move forward.

[0235] That is, the first drive motor (130), the first rotation shaft (132), the first pinion gear (133), and the first rack gear (145) move forward, and the moving plate (180) and mover (150) coupled to the first rack gear (145) can move forward.

[0236] As the forward movement of the above mover (150) closes the front side of the opening (C1) of the ceiling (C), the air can be discharged by concentrating on the rear side of the opening (C1).

[0237] Conversely, when the second drive motor (160) rotates in the other direction, the second rack gear (170) moves backward, and the first rack gear (145) of the first drive mechanism can also move backward.

[0238] As the first rack gear (145) moves, the mover (150) moves rearward, and the rear end of the opening (C1) of the ceiling (C) is closed by the mover (150), so that air can be discharged by concentrating on the front end of the opening (C1).

[0239] FIG. 21 (a) is a schematic diagram showing a diffuser according to a second embodiment of the present invention with an opening in the ceiling closed, FIG. 21 (b) is a schematic diagram showing a diffuser according to a second embodiment of the present invention with a downward movement to open the opening in the ceiling, FIG. 21 (c) is a schematic diagram showing a diffuser according to a second embodiment of the present invention with a left movement with an opening in the ceiling open, and FIG. 21 (d) is a schematic diagram showing a diffuser according to a second embodiment of the present invention with a right movement with an opening in the ceiling open.

[0240] Figure 21 (a) shows the external appearance of the diffuser (100) in a state where the mover (150) closes the opening (C1) of the ceiling in the same position as Figure 17. Therefore, air supply through the diffuser (100) may not occur.

[0241] Figure 21 (b) shows the external appearance of the diffuser (100) in a state where the mover (150) moves downward in the same position as Figure 18 and the opening (C1) of the ceiling is opened. Accordingly, air is supplied through the diffuser (100), and the air can be discharged radially along the upper surface of the mover (150).

[0242] Figure 21 (c) shows the external appearance of the diffuser (100) when the mover (150) moves forward while moving downward in the same position as Figure 20. Accordingly, air is supplied through the diffuser (100), and the air can be concentrated and discharged into the space at the rear end of the opening (C1) in the ceiling.

[0243] Figure 21 (d) shows the external appearance of the diffuser (100) when the mover (150) moves backward from a downward position. Accordingly, air is supplied through the diffuser (100), and the air can be discharged in a concentrated manner into the front-end space of the opening (C1) in the ceiling.

[0244] In this way, by the operation of the first driving mechanism, the amount of air discharged through the opening (C1) of the ceiling (C) can be increased or decreased, and by the operation of the second driving mechanism, the direction of air discharged through the opening (C1) can be easily controlled.

[0245] The present invention relates to a ventilation device, which can easily control the amount of air discharged from a supply duct through a diffuser. Therefore, it has significant industrial applicability.
