The bag may also further comprise at least one, such as a plurality of, storage pockets, either with or without closure mechanism, built into the bag body.

[0016] More specifically, and as shown in the Figures, the bag body may be an elongate shape, wherein the arm channel may extend through an entire length of the bag body. The arm channel may be sized to accommodate insertion of a user’s hands, wrists, and / or forearms therein. As mentioned above, each of the openings to the arm channel may include a closure mechanism, such as a zipper, hook and loop fasteners, buttons, snaps, clips, or the like, such that the arm channel may be used to securely store personal items when a user does not have his or her hands or arms positioned therein. In other embodiments, the bag body may comprise a pair of arm channels, wherein each arm channel extends from a respective end to a location proximate to the central portion of the bag body. In other words, the arms channels may not extend fully through the bag body, but rather may be two separate pockets or channels, each sized to accommodate insertion of one hand therein.

The bag may have varying dimensions to accommodate differently sized people and larger or smaller personal items. In some embodiments, the strap may have an adjustable length.

Alternatively, the hood may be concealed within the pocket in the strap. If desired, the user may insert his or her hands into the at least one arm channel.
