Description

COMPOSITION FOR CLEANSING AND / OR REMOVING MAKEUPS FROM KERATIN MATERIALSTECHNICAL FIELD

[0001] The present invention relates to a composition, preferably for cleansing and / or removing makeups from keratin materials. The present invention also relates to a process for cleansing and / or removing makeups from keratin materials using said composition.

[0002] BACKGROUD ART

[0003] Cleansing the skin or removing makeups from the skin is very important for caring for the skin. In particular, it is very important to consumers of makeup products to have an efficient makeup remover. It must be as efficient as possible because greasy residues, such as dirt, excess sebum, the remnants of cosmetic products used daily and make-up products, in particular waterproof products, accumulate in the skin folds, and can block the pores of the skin and result in the appearance of spots.

[0004] Several types of skin cleansing or makeup removing products, for example, rinsable anhydrous oils and gels, foaming creams, and lotions, are known.

[0005] Rinsable anhydrous oils and gels have a cleansing or makeup removing action by virtue of oils present in these formulations. These oils make it possible to dissolve fatty residues and to disperse make-up pigments.

[0006] However, some cleansers on the market are not satisfying in terms of rinsing-off speed or the feeling delivered to the skin, for example smoothness.

[0007] Therefore, there is a need to formulate compositions, preferably for cleansing and / or removing makeups from keratin materials, which has quick rinsing-off speed and can deliver the skin good smoothness.SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0008] An object of the present invention is to provide a composition,  preferably for cleansing and / or removing makeups from keratin materials, which has a quick rinsing speed and can deliver the skin good smoothness.

[0009] Thus, according to a first aspect, the present invention relates to a composition, preferably for cleansing and / or removing makeups from keratin materials, comprising:

[0010] (i) N-acyl alanine and / or salts thereof;

[0012] (iii) at least 2 wt. %of at least one oil, relative to the total weight of the composition.

[0013] The inventors have found that the composition has quick rinsing-off speed and can deliver the skin good smoothness.

[0014] According to a second aspect, the present invention provides a process for cleansing and / or removing makeups from keratin materials, in particular the skin, comprising applying to the keratin materials, in particular the skin, of the composition according to the present invention, and rinsing off said composition after an optional period of time.

[0015] Other subjects and characteristics, aspects and advantages of the present invention will be set forth in the description that follows, and in part, will be obvious from the description, or may be learned by practice of the present invention.DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0103] Rinsing-off speed and skin smoothness

[0104] Rinsing-off speed of each composition prepared above and skin smoothness delivered thereby were evaluated by 5 skin experts as follows.

[0105] 1g of a testing sample was taken to dry hands by the 5 skin experts individually. Next, 1ml water was added to the testing sample with a pipette, then rubbing was carried out for 20 rounds, another 1 ml water was added, then rubbing was carried out for other 20 rounds, then the hands were rinsed with water.

[0106] Rinsing-off speed were scored by the 5 skin experts based on how many times of rinse by hand need until squeaky feeling appear according to the following standard:

[0107] 5      : around 1 time

[0108] 4      : around 2-3 times

[0109] 3      : around 4-5 times

[0110] 2      : around 6-7 times

[0111] 1      : around 8-10 times

[0112] As used herein, "squeaky feeling" means that it is kind of astringent and non-lubricated feeling.

[0113] The higher of the score value, the higher of the rinsing-off speed, wherein score≥3.5 is preferable.

[0114] Then skin smoothness was scored by the 5 skin experts 2 minutes after wash towel off according to the following standard:

[0115] 5      : very moisturized smooth

[0116] 4      : Smooth

[0117] 3      : slightly rough

[0118] 2      : rough

[0119] 1      : dry, tight, stopping sensation.

[0120] The higher of the score value, the better of the skin smoothness, wherein score≥3.5 is preferable.

[0121] The scores for rinsing-off speed and skin smoothness given by the 5 skin experts for each composition of invention examples 1-2 and comparative examples 1-3 were averaged and rounded, then summarized in Table 3.

[0122] Table 3

[0123] It can be seen from Table 3 that the composition according to the present invention has a quick rinsing-off speed and can deliver a smooth sensation on the skin.
