Abstract

Provided is a device which includes: an acquisition unit which acquires cell information that relates to cells cultured in first culture and culture information that indicates the culture conditions for the first culture; and an estimation unit which estimates the state of a culture medium after the first culture has been performed, on the basis of the cell information and the culture information. The acquisition unit also acquires post-treatment information that indicates the conditions for a post-treatment performed on the culture medium after the first culture has been performed. The estimation unit estimates the state of the culture medium after the first culture and the post-treatment have been performed, on the basis of the cell information, the culture information, and the post-treatment information.

Claims

1. A device comprising a processor, which performs an acquisition process by which it acquires cell information relating to cells cultured in a first culture and culture information indicating the culture conditions of the first culture, and an estimation process that estimates the state of the culture medium after the first culture has been performed based on the cell information and the culture information.

The apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the acquisition process further acquires post-treatment information indicating the conditions for post-treatment performed on the culture medium after the first culture, and the estimation process estimates the state of the culture medium after the first culture and post-treatment based on the cell information, the culture information and the post-treatment information.

3. The apparatus according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the state of the culture medium includes the content of at least one component contained in the culture medium.

The apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the estimation process uses an estimation model that outputs state information indicating the state of the culture medium in response to the input of the cell information and culture information obtained by the acquisition process to perform the estimation.

The apparatus according to claim 4, wherein the estimation model is a trained model using training data that includes cell information relating to cultured cells, culture information indicating the culture conditions applied in the culture of said cells, and information on the state of the culture medium after said culture.

The apparatus according to claim 1, further comprising a first storage unit that stores a predetermined initial state of a culture medium for each cell to be cultured, wherein the processor further performs a determination process that determines, based on the state of the culture medium estimated by the estimation process and the contents stored by the first storage unit, at least one of the cells to be cultured in a second culture using the culture medium after the first culture and the contents of the pretreatment to be performed on the culture medium before the start of the second culture, and an output process that outputs the contents determined by the determination process.

The apparatus according to claim 6, wherein in the determination process, the cell corresponding to the initial state closest to the state of the culture medium estimated by the estimation process is determined from among a plurality of initial states stored in the first storage unit as the cell to be cultured in the second culture.

The apparatus according to claim 6, wherein the determination process determines the content of the pretreatment based on the difference between the state of the culture medium estimated by the estimation process and the initial state stored in the first storage unit in correspondence with the cells to be cultured in the second culture.

The apparatus according to claim 8, further comprising a second storage unit that stores materials that can be used in the treatment solution for each type of treatment applied to the culture medium before cultivation, wherein in the determination process, the materials to be used in the treatment solution for the determined pretreatment are further determined based on the contents stored in the second storage unit.

10. The apparatus according to claim 8, wherein the processor further performs a generation process to generate a pre-processing solution in response to an approval operation performed by the user regarding the contents of the pre-processing output by the output process.

The apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the acquisition process includes a language model process that acquires an input sentence in natural language from the user, generates an output sentence in natural language corresponding to the input sentence, and outputs it to the user; and a specification process that identifies the contents of the cell information and the culture information from the content of the interaction with the user by the language model process.

12. The apparatus according to claim 11, wherein the language model processing asks the user questions about items from a predetermined list of items necessary for identifying the contents of the cell information and the culture information, for which information has not yet been obtained through dialogue.

13. A method comprising: an acquisition step of acquiring cell information relating to cells cultured in a first culture and culture information indicating the culture conditions of the first culture; and an estimation step of estimating the state of the culture medium after the first culture has been performed based on the cell information and the culture information.

14. A program that, when executed by a computer, causes the computer to function as an acquisition unit that acquires cell information relating to cells cultured in a first culture and culture information indicating the culture conditions for the first culture, and an estimation unit that estimates the state of the culture medium after the first culture has been performed based on the cell information and the culture information.
