The number of coffee capsules sold worldwide reaches several billion each year. It is known that a large proportion of these capsules are made from an aluminum alloy, and that even though recycling programs have been established, the proportion of aluminum capsules actually recycled remains very low. A significant proportion of capsules are made by assembling elements from different materials, for example, a mixture of aluminum and plastic, which makes their recycling very complex. The consumption of capsule-based beverages therefore generates a considerable amount of waste. Furthermore, the manufacturing and recycling of aluminum capsules involve processes that are very energy-intensive and consume a large amount of raw materials.

These capsules allow users to fill their own with the coffee of their choice, thus purchasing coffee in larger, more environmentally friendly containers. However, reusable and single-use refillable capsules have the drawback of being somewhat impractical due to their small size. This makes them difficult to fill without spilling coffee outside the capsule. Furthermore, filling these capsules efficiently and quickly is difficult because the process requires great care from the user. In addition, such capsules must be sealed before use in a machine, usually with a self-adhesive lid that sticks to a collar on the capsule. However, this collar often gets soiled with coffee during the filling process, resulting in poor adhesion of the lid.

This device is highly effective and very popular with users. Although it fully satisfies its users and enjoys significant commercial success, this device can nevertheless be improved, particularly to reduce its manufacturing cost.

[0006] To this end, the invention relates to a device for filling a container with a product in powder or granule form, the filling device comprising: - a cover, intended to be connected to a tank, the cover having a passage intended to connect the inside of the tank with the outside; - a device for closing the passage, the closing device comprising a fixed part and a movable part, the movable part comprising a closing element and a container support for a container having a filling opening and a peripheral rim extending over at least part of the contour of the filling opening, such as a collar, the movable part of the closing device being movable between: - a closed position, in which the closing element closes the passage; - an open position, in which the closing element does not close the passage, and in which a central opening provided in the container support is positioned opposite the passage and is intended to connect the inside of the tank with a container positioned on the container support.

Demands
1. A filling device (1) for a container (2) with a product in powder or granule form, the filling device (1) comprising: - a cover (12), intended to be connected to a tank (10), the cover (12) having a passage (122) intended to connect the inside of the tank (10) with the outside; - a closure device (14) for the passage (122), the closure device (14) comprising a fixed part (16) and a movable part (18), the movable part (18) comprising a closing element (180) and a container support (182) for a container (2) having a filling opening and a peripheral rim (20) extending over at least part of the contour of the filling opening, such as a collar (20), the movable part (18) of the closure device (14) being movable between: - a closed position, in which the closing element (180) closes the passage (122); - an open position, in which the closing element (180) does not close the passage (122), and in which a central opening (182b) provided in the container support (182) is positioned opposite the passage (122) and is intended to connect the interior of the tank (10) with a container (2) positioned on the container support (182), in which the container support (182) is configured so that, when a container (2) is placed on the container support (182), it prevents the extraction of this container (2) at least when the movable part (18) is in the open position.
2. Filling device (1) according to claim 1, wherein: - when the movable part (18) is in the closed position, the container support (182) allows the positioning of a container (2) such that the peripheral rim (20) of the container (2) rests on a base (182a) of the container support (182); and - when the movable part (18) is in the open position, the container support (182) is arranged such that at least a portion of the peripheral rim (20) of a container (2) positioned on the container support (182) is arranged between the base (182a) of the container support (182) and the fixed part (16) of the sealing device (14), so as to prevent the extraction of the container (2).
3. Filling device (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the movable part (18) of the sealing device (14) is movable in translation relative to the fixed part (16).
4. Filling device (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the fixed part (16) of the sealing device has an upper wall (160) partially covering the movable part (18), an opening (162) being provided in the upper wall (160).

Filling device (1) according to the preceding claim, wherein the opening (162) formed in the upper wall (160) of the fixed part (16) has a first part (162a) and a second part (162b), the container support (182) being positioned: - at the level of the first part (162a) when the movable part (18) of the shutter device (14) is in the closed position; and - at the level of the second part (162b) when the moving part is in the open position.
6. Filling device (1) according to the preceding claim, wherein the dimensions of the first part (162a) of the opening (162) allow the insertion and removal through the opening (162) of at least a part of a container (2) including the peripheral rim (20).

Filling device (1) according to the preceding claim, wherein the dimensions of the second part (162b) of the opening (162) are provided such that, when the movable part (18) is in the open position, at least a part of the peripheral rim (20) of the container (2) is held between a part of the base (182a) of the support of the container (182) and a part of the edge (162c) of the opening (162) of the fixed part (16).
8. Filling device (1) according to any one of claims 4 to 7, wherein the fixed part (16) has a lateral slot (164) configured to allow the passage of the closing element (180) of the moving part (18) when the latter moves from the closed position to the open position.

A filling device (1) according to the preceding claim, wherein the movable part (18) is configured so that a free end (180a) of the closure element (180) is recessed from the side slot (164) when the movable part (18) is in the closed position, and so that, when the free end (180a) of the closure element (180) is at the level of the side slot (164), the movable part (18) is in an intermediate position between the closed and open positions, a position in which at least a portion of the peripheral rim (20) of a container (2) positioned on the container support (182) is disposed between the base (182a) of the container support (182) and the fixed part (16) of the closure device, so as to prevent the extraction of the container (2).
10. Filling device (1) according to claim 1, wherein the container support (182) is configured to be removably attached to the container (2), so as to prevent the extraction of this container (2) when the moving part (18) is in the open position and when the moving part (18) is in the closed position.
11. Filling device (1) according to the preceding claim, wherein the container (2) can be secured to the container support (2) by: - screwing; - clipping; or by - magnetic attraction.
12. Filling device (1) according to any one of claims 4 to 11, wherein the movable part (18) has two lateral tabs (182d), the lateral tabs (182d) being sandwiched between an upper wall (120) of the cover (12) and the upper wall (160) of the fixed part (16) of the sealing device (14).

Filling device (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the container support (182) includes a positioning element (182c) for a container (2), the positioning element (182c) being configured so that a user can cause the movement of the movable part (18) of the sealing device by means of a container (2) positioned on the container support (182).

Filling device (1) according to the preceding claim, wherein the positioning element forms a projection from the base (182a) of the support of containing (182) the positioning element (182c) being configured so that a portion of the internal surface of a container (2) positioned on the container support (182) is in contact with or in the immediate vicinity of the positioning element.
15. Filling system (100) of a container (2) with a product in powder or granule form, the filling system (1) comprising a filling device (1) according to one of the preceding claims and a reservoir (10).
