Measuring apparatus for wastewater treatment plants

Abstract

The invention relates to a measuring apparatus for determining a target gas concentration in an off-gas from a basin of a wastewater treatment plant, wherein the measuring apparatus comprises a measuring-gas intake unit (2000) which has an inlet opening (2004) for introducing the off-gas into a receiving chamber (2005) and an outlet opening (2003) for discharging at least part of the off-gas from the receiving chamber (2005) as measuring gas via a measuring line to a measuring unit which comprises an optical target gas sensor (16) for detecting a target gas in the measuring gas, wherein the measuring apparatus comprises a computing unit (12) which is connected to the target gas sensor (16) in order to obtain target gas measurement data and which is designed to process the target gas measurement data and to determine a value for the target gas concentration obtained from the processing of the target gas measurement data, wherein the measuring unit comprises an interference gas sensor (14) for detecting an interference gas in the measuring gas, wherein the computing unit (12) is connected to the interference gas sensor (14), and a function for processing the target gas measurement data is stored in the computing unit (12), said function determining the value determined for the target gas concentration depending on the target gas measurement data and depending on the interference gas measurement data.
