Abstract
A nucleic acid detection apparatus includes: a thermal module including a plurality of thermal units configured to perform heat treatment on a sample provided in a reaction vessel and a frame configured to mount the thermal units in parallel in one direction; and an optical module including a light source configured to irradiate light to the sample and a detector configured to receive an optical signal generated from the sample. Each of the plurality of thermal units includes: a thermal block configured to accommodate the reaction vessel, a thermal element thermally contacting the thermal block, and a heat sink configured to dissipate heat from the thermal block, and is configured to independently perform heat treatment.
