Abstract

The key, innovative features of these new designs of the spatulas [hand tools] shown here, also known as silicone applicators, lie in the round recessed grips on all top sides of the respective tool models which allow the user to have a very comfortable grip; thanks to the improved ergonomics, these grips make handling the spatulas much easier; when processing elastic sealants, such as acrylic or silicone, these tools can be used to quickly and easily create visually perfect joint surfaces without additional masking measures; the still fresh excess sealant is easily removed from the joints during the removal process.
