Abstract
The macerator rotor comprises a helical screw mounted on a shaft with a cutter positioned at the front end; the cutter, which is smaller in diameter than the screw, features an impeller design with six blades whose surfaces extend continuously onto the shaft; complementary recesses are machined into the shaft to accommodate this impeller blade configuration.
