Abstract

The vacuum sealing device for vacuum sealing a container with a lid comprises a base unit (1) onto which the container can be placed, a bell (2) which can be placed on the base unit to form a chamber (2c) in which the container is arranged, a vacuum pump (10) for extracting air from the chamber and an actuating device (8, 11-14) which is designed to switch on the vacuum pump by placing the bell on the base unit.
