Abstract
Description
[0001] The invention relates to an agricultural harvesting vehicle.
[0002] From US 2 904 949 A a support mechanism for a cutting unit for harvesting machines is known with an outer annular element which is fastened to the frame of the cutting unit in order to support it, and with an inner channel-like annular element which is fastened to a delivery device of the cutting unit, so that the frame of the cutting unit can be rotated relative to the delivery device of the cutting unit.
[0003] DE 10 2018 118 799 A1 discloses an arrangement for the pendulum suspension of a front attachment on an agricultural harvesting vehicle, wherein the arrangement comprises a support frame on the harvesting vehicle side and a pendulum frame on the front attachment side. Rollers are mounted on the support frame on the harvesting vehicle side, on which support elements of the pendulum frame roll when the pendulum frame executes a pendulum movement.
[0004] EP 2 384 612 B1 discloses another arrangement for the pendulum suspension of a front attachment on an agricultural harvesting vehicle. The front attachment is mounted on an intake housing of an intake system via a pendulum frame. The pendulum frame has curved support elements that interact with rollers that are fastened to a front side of the intake housing and are rotatably mounted. The pendulum frame is mounted on the intake housing via a fastening device, wherein the fastening device is adjustable in a forward direction. This allows the fastening device to be adjusted relative to the pendulum frame in a forward direction and thus in the longitudinal direction of the harvesting vehicle. This makes it possible to mount the front attachment relative to the intake housing at different angles to a horizontal.
[0005] There is a need to adjust the cutting angle of a header that can be coupled to a harvesting vehicle via a pendulum frame more easily and reliably, without the risk of the pendulum movement of the header jamming and the header performing an undesirable yaw movement about a vertical axis.
[0006] Based on this, the present invention is based on the object of creating a novel agricultural harvesting vehicle.
[0007] This object is achieved by an agricultural harvesting vehicle according to claim 1.
[0008] According to the invention, a curved receiving device is attached to the feeder housing, which interacts with rollers mounted on the pendulum frame to provide a pendulum movement of the pendulum frame relative to the feeder housing, wherein the curved receiving device is adjustable relative to the feeder housing in the longitudinal direction of the harvesting vehicle in order to set a cutting angle for the attachment that can be coupled to the pendulum frame depending on the relative position between the receiving device and the feeder housing.
[0009] Simply by adjusting the position of the curved pick-up device relative to the feeder housing, which is adjustable in the longitudinal direction of the harvesting vehicle and is mounted on the feeder housing, the cutting angle for a front attachment coupled to the harvesting vehicle via a pendulum frame can be adjusted. The pendulum frame has rollers that interact with the curved pick-up device. Because the curved pick-up device is mounted on the feeder housing and can be moved longitudinally relative to the feeder housing, the cutting angle can be easily adjusted without the risk of jamming during the pendulum movement.
[0010] Preferably, the curved intake device is continuously adjustable relative to the intake housing between two end positions in the longitudinal direction of the harvesting vehicle. This allows the cutting angle of the attachment, which can be coupled to the harvesting vehicle via the pendulum frame, to be continuously adjusted.
[0011] Preferably, the feed housing has a mounting bracket for the curved receiving device, wherein the mounting bracket has elongated holes or other guide elements extending in the longitudinal direction of the harvesting vehicle, through which screws extend which serve for the releasable fastening of the receiving device to the mounting bracket.
[0012] Preferred developments of the invention will become apparent from the dependent claims and the following description. Exemplary embodiments of the invention are explained in more detail, without being limited thereto, with reference to the drawings. Herein: Fig. 1 a perspective view of a pendulum frame of an agricultural harvesting vehicle according to the invention together with an intake housing of an intake mechanism; Fig. 2 a front view of the arrangement of the Fig. 1; Fig. 3 a first side view of the arrangement of the Fig. 1 with a first relative position between a receiving device for the pendulum frame and the feed housing; Fig. 4 a second side view of the arrangement of the Fig. 1 with a second relative position between the receiving device for the pendulum frame and the feed housing.
[0013] The invention relates to an agricultural harvesting vehicle, in particular a forage harvester or a combine harvester.
[0014] A harvesting vehicle has an intake system with an intake housing. A front attachment can be coupled to the harvesting vehicle, with a pendulum frame used to couple the front attachment to the harvesting vehicle. The pendulum frame enables the front attachment to move in a pendulum motion relative to the intake housing of the harvesting vehicle for ground contour following.
[0015] The invention is now about coupling a front attachment to the intake housing of the intake system and thus to the harvesting vehicle simply and reliably via a pendulum frame, without the risk of jamming or blocking the pendulum movement and without the front attachment performing a yaw movement.
[0016] Fig. 1 shows a perspective view of an intake housing 10 of a harvesting vehicle together with a pendulum frame 11 attached to the intake housing 10.
[0017] The pendulum frame 11 has an upper horizontal strut 12, a lower horizontal strut 13 and vertical struts 14 and 15 extending between the horizontal struts 12 and 13 on both sides thereof.
[0018] A curved receiving device 16 in the form of a tubular bend is attached to the feed housing 10, which cooperates with rollers 17 mounted on the pendulum frame 11 to provide the pendulum movement of the pendulum frame 11 relative to the feed housing 10. The curved receiving device 16 is accordingly attached to the feed housing 10, and the rollers 17 interacting with the curved receiving device 16 are mounted on the pendulum frame 11.
[0019] The curved receiving device 16 is adjustable relative to the feed housing 10 in the longitudinal direction of the harvesting vehicle in order to set a cutting angle for the attachment that can be coupled to the pendulum frame 11 depending on the relative position between the curved receiving device 16 and the feed housing 10.
[0020] How best Fig. 3 and Fig. 4, the feed housing 10 has a mounting bracket 18 for the curved receiving device 16. The curved receiving device 16 is releasably attached to this mounting bracket 18 via screws 19. These screws 19 extend through elongated holes 20 in the mounting bracket 18. The elongated holes 20 ensure the continuous adjustability of the curved receiving device 16 relative to the feed housing 10, in order to continuously adjust the cutting angle for the attachment that can be coupled to the pendulum frame 11.
[0021] The elongated holes ensure a continuous adjustability of the curved receiving device 16 for the rollers 17 of the pendulum frame 11 between two end positions, which is determined by the limits of the elongated holes extending in the longitudinal direction of the harvesting vehicle.
[0022] As an alternative to the screws 19, a hydraulic tensioning device can be provided for securing and releasing the receiving device 16 on the feeder housing 10. Furthermore, one or more actuators—e.g., hydraulic cylinders or linear motors—can be provided for adjusting the relative position of the receiving device 16 on the feeder housing 10. In this embodiment of the invention, it is possible to release the securing device, adjust the receiving device 16, and re-secure it from the driver's cab of the harvester.
[0023] When the pendulum frame 11 is coupled to the feed housing 10, the rollers 17 of the pendulum frame 11 rest on top of the curved receiving device 16. The curved receiving device 16 can also be referred to as a curved track.
[0024] The inventive design of the harvesting vehicle ensures that, regardless of the relative position of the curved receiving device 16 in the longitudinal direction relative to the intake housing 10, its orientation in the vertical direction remains unchanged. The curved receiving device 16 forms an angle of 90° or approximately 90° with a section of the mounting bracket 18 having the elongated holes 20, regardless of the relative position of the curved receiving device 16 in the longitudinal direction. The pendulum movement cannot jam. There is also no risk of an attachment coupled to the pendulum frame 11 yaw during operation.
