Abstract

A battery, characterized in that it is provided with a cover assembly, the cover assembly comprising:a cover plate (2) having a first hole (202);an insulating element (1) disposed on the side of the cover plate (2) adjacent to the battery cell and provided with a second hole (101); andan explosion-proof valve (3) arranged between the insulating element (1) and the cover plate (2), the explosion-proof valve (3) fitting closely to the insulating element (1) and the cover plate (2), respectively;a busbar plate (4), and a pole post (5), the insulating element (1) being provided with a first fixing hole (105) and the cover plate (2) being provided with a second fixing hole (203), the pole post (5) penetrating through the second fixing hole (203) and the first fixing hole (105) and being connected to the first welding area (4011) of the busbar plate (4), and a housing, and a battery cell arranged in the receiving cavity of the housing;and wherein the cover plate of the cover plate assembly is connected to the housing and closes the opening of the receiving cavity, and wherein the insulating member (1) is integrally formed with the cover plate (2), the explosion-proof valve (3) is secured to the insulating member (1) and the cover plate (2), and the first hole (202) and the second hole (101) are both arranged opposite the explosion-proof valve (3);
