Description

[Technical field]

[0001] The present invention relates to a granular pesticide composition in which the dissolution of an active ingredient in water is accelerated, and a method for producing the same. [Background technology]

[0002] Although the granular pesticide composition is a formulation form with high safety, when the water solubility of the pesticide active ingredient is low, it is difficult to quickly dissolve the pesticide active ingredient from the granular pesticide composition in water, and a satisfactory pesticide effect may not be obtained. In order to solve these problems, it is necessary to improve the water dissolution of the pesticide active ingredient from the granular pesticide composition, and various attempts have been made to achieve this.

[0003] For example, it is known that the release of pesticide active ingredients is promoted in granules containing 1-[2-(N-trifluoromethanesulfonyl)aminobenzyl]-3,3-dimethylazetidin-2-one and various anionic surfactants in a granular composition (Patent Document 1).

[0004] It is also known that a solid pesticide composition containing a pesticide active ingredient, a polyoxyethylene arylphenyl ether surfactant or a polyoxypropylene arylphenyl ether surfactant, a sulfonate surfactant and a carboxymethylcellulose salt has improved disintegration, spreadability and dispersibility in water, and promotes the dissolution of the pesticide active ingredient in water (Patent Document 2). [0005] [Patent Document 1] Patent application 2019-219309 [Patent Document 2] Patent application 2016-57255 Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]

[0006] However, even when any of the above-mentioned methods are used, there are cases where the water solubility of the pesticide active ingredient is low and the desired dissolution cannot be achieved, or where the improved disintegrability and dispersibility increase the dissolution of other pesticide active ingredients, the dissolution of which is not desired to be promoted, to an undesirable level. [0028] The granular pesticide composition of the present invention is a granule having a minor axis of 0.3-5 mm. The minor axis may be 0.3-3 mm, 0.6-3 mm, or 0.3-1.7 mm, but a large granular pesticide composition having a minor axis of about 3-5 mm is also included in the present invention. Among them, the granular pesticide composition of the present invention having a minor axis of 1-1.5 mm is particularly suitable for the embodiment of application in a nursery box in which the control of the release of the pesticide active ingredient is particularly important for the management of phytotoxicity and ensuring the durability of the pesticide effect, and is therefore preferred. The minor axis:major axis ratio of the granular pesticide composition is not particularly limited, but is usually 1:1-1:6, preferably 1:1.2-1:5, and more preferably 1:1.5-1:4. Furthermore, the granular pesticide composition of the present invention has a porous internal structure.

[0029] The granular pesticide composition of the present invention can be prepared by mixing the predetermined components by a conventionally known method for preparing granules. Specifically, the method for producing the granular pesticide composition of the present invention includes a kneading step in which water is added to and kneaded with a raw powder containing an agricultural chemical active ingredient and clay having a quartz content of 95% by mass or more; a granulation step in which the kneaded product obtained in the kneading step is extruded through holes having a hole diameter of 0.3-5 mm to granulate the kneaded product obtained in the granulation step; and a drying step in which the granulated product obtained in the granulation step is dried to remove water. The extrusion granulation in the granulation step can be performed using a screen with holes having a hole diameter of 0.3-5 mm. Here, in the extrusion granulation method, it is possible to obtain a granular pesticide composition with a desired minor diameter by arbitrarily setting the hole diameter of the screen within the above range.

[0030] In the method for producing the granular pesticide composition of the present invention, the pesticide active ingredient may be used as it is, but it is desirable to previously pulverize it to a particle size of usually 50 μm or less, preferably 10 μm or less. As a means for such pulverization, any known pulverizing device can be used, specifically, impact pulverizers, airflow pulverizers, etc. can be used, but are not particularly limited. In addition, during the pulverization, the pesticide active ingredient may be pulverized alone, or, if desired, may be mixed in advance with other auxiliary agents used in the method of the present invention, such as part or all of a clay having a quartz content of 95% by mass or more, and co-pulverized. Furthermore, when the pesticide active ingredient is liquid, it may be previously adsorbed on an oil-absorbing fine powder or the like to prepare it into a powder form.

[0031] In the kneading step, the raw material powder may be kneaded by spraying water onto the raw material powder while stirring it.

[0032] In the method for producing the granular pesticide composition of the present invention, when the raw powder contains a surfactant, the surfactant may be a solution or dispersion containing water. In this case, the water may be water added in the kneading step, or kneading may be performed using water contained in the solution or dispersion of the surfactant in the kneading step.

[0033] In the method for producing the granular pesticide composition of the present invention, when the raw material powder contains a surfactant, the content is selected within the range of 0.1-20% by mass, preferably 0.1-10% by mass, more preferably 0.1-5% by mass, based on the total dry mass of all raw materials constituting the granular pesticide composition. In this case, the surfactant or a solution or dispersion of the surfactant can be added in the kneading step.

[0034] In the method for producing the granular pesticide composition of the present invention, when the raw material powder contains a binder, the content is selected in the range of 0.1-20% by mass, preferably 0.1-10% by mass, more preferably 1-5% by mass based on the total dry mass of all raw materials constituting the granular pesticide composition. In this case, the binder can be added in the kneading step.

[0035] In the method for producing the granular pesticide composition of the present invention, when calcium carbonate is added to the raw material powder, the content is selected in the range of 0.1-20% by mass, preferably 0.1-10% by mass, more preferably 1-5% by mass based on the total dry mass of all raw materials constituting the granular pesticide composition. In this case, the binder can be added in the kneading step.

[0036] According to the present invention, the internal structure of the granules of the granular pesticide composition is porous, and a granular pesticide composition with a large porosity can be obtained. By making the granular pesticide composition have a sparse structure, more water can be infiltrated into the granules when used, and the contact opportunity between water and the pesticide active ingredient is increased, thereby improving the dissolution of the pesticide active ingredient. In addition, the granular pesticide composition of the present invention does not require special techniques or preparation methods and can be easily produced, so that it is possible to provide a granular pesticide composition with improved dissolution of the pesticide active ingredient at low cost. The water dissolution rate was calculated from the following formula. Dissolution rate in water (%) = (A / B) × 100 A: Amount of pesticide active ingredient dissolved in water B: Content of pesticide active ingredient in granular pesticide composition

[0063] [Table 3]

[0064] [Table 4]

[0065] [Table 5]

[0066] [Table 6]

[0067] [Table 7]

[0068] From the results of Tables 3 to 7, it is seen that the granular pesticide compositions of Examples 1 to 5 have improved elution of the pesticide active ingredient, compared to the granular pesticide compositions of Comparative Examples 1 to 5. This is believed to be due to the fact that the internal structure of the granular pesticide composition of the present invention is porous, i.e., has a sparse structure, which allows more water to infiltrate into the granules when in use, increasing the chance of contact between water and the pesticide active ingredient.
