Abstract

To obtain a glass diaphragm that can prevent thermal degradation of the transducer and facilitates the installation of the transducer onto the glass plate structure. [Solution] The glass diaphragm 11 comprises a glass plate structure 12, a mount 22 fixed to one main surface of the glass plate structure 12 via an adhesive layer 20 and housing a vibrator 26 that vibrates the glass plate structure 12, and a cap 24 attached to the mount 22 and holding the vibrator 26 to the mount 22. The mount 22 has an opening 22A that exposes the vibrator 26 to the glass plate structure 12 side, and a heat insulating space 30 is formed between the glass plate structure 12 and the vibrator 26.
