Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a member that can be used by contacting the anus to allow defecation, which can reduce the spread of soiling of the anus and intergral cleft (hereinafter simply referred to as the "anal area") caused by feces, and which can be replaced hygienically. [Background technology]
[0002] Conventional paper diapers are generally classified into pants-type and wrap-around-type, and many of them use water-absorbent polymers to soak up excrement. However, other inventions have been disclosed, such as a method in which a feces delivery tube is attached to the outer periphery of the anus with an adhesive instead of water-absorbent polymers to guide excrement to a storage area (see Patent Document 1), and a diaper with excrement collection bags that has an opening at the contact point between the genitals and anus and is equipped with a feces collection bag and a urine collection bag (see Patent Document 2).
[0003] However, pants-type and wrap-around diapers have the problem that putting them on and taking them off is time-consuming. On the other hand, when a stool tube is used, there is a risk of feces reflux, and the presence of the stool tube can cause discomfort in the buttocks when wearing the diaper. Furthermore, even in the case of diapers with waste collection bags, there are problems such as feces not being properly collected from the opening into the collection bag and spreading over the buttocks, making it unsanitary, and making the wearer feel uncomfortable. In addition, with the progress of the super-aging society, paper diapers using water-absorbent polymers are generating more and more waste every year, putting a strain on incineration facilities and the environment. FIG. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0014] Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described. Note that these embodiments are merely examples shown for the convenience of explanation, and the present invention is not limited to these embodiments in any sense.
[0015] FIG. 1 is an overall plan view of the disposable bag-type diaper of the present invention, which is mainly composed of a bag-shaped main body (1) made of a hermetically sealed non-permeable film, a guide member (2) formed near the center of the main body, and an adhesive part (3) for fixing.
[0016] The main body (1) is a sealable bag-like structure made of a non-permeable film having an inner surface (1a) that comes into contact with human skin, an outer surface (1b) on the reverse side thereof, and a storage section (1c), and is primarily used to receive and store feces.
[0017] The material that can be preferably used is polyethylene, polypropylene, or other polymeric material, but naturally decomposable materials such as water-repellent treated paper and biodegradable plastics can also be used.
[0018] In cases where the wearer is a carrier of infectious bacteria and sanitary management of dangerous excrement is required, the main body (1) can be specially colored as a whole or labeled with instructions for handling, thereby preventing any misunderstanding that it is safe for final disposal after use.
[0019] The outer peripheral contour shape of the main body (1) is most suitable as it is most readily available and does not result in waste during production.
[0020] The size of the main body (1) is set to a volume of about 200cc to 450cc, since the amount of stool excreted by an adult at one time is about the same as one or two normal-sized bananas. In the case of a rectangular plastic film bag, the external dimensions are approximately 300mm in length and 230mm in width, and can be made smaller or larger depending on the wearer's physique, the amount of stool excreted based on the amount of food eaten, etc., and the urgency of various nursing care procedures.
[0021] The inner surface (1a) is the surface that comes into direct contact with the human body and skin, but a guide member (2) is provided in the center, and adhesive parts (3) for fixing are provided on the upper and side parts. The remaining parts are covered with a top sheet (6) that is less irritating to the skin, improving comfort and feel while reducing the burden on the skin.
[0022] The outer surface (1b) is the reverse side of the inner surface (1a), and in its center is provided with a center mark (9) which corresponds to the formation position of the bowel guide member (2) on the inner surface (1a), in particular the position of the bowel guide line-shaped notch (5) or bowel guide hole (5') in the adhesive surface (4). By using this as a guide when putting on the garment, the bowel guide member (2) can be accurately aligned with the wearer's anus and attached.
[0023] Fig. 3 shows a bottom view of the bag-type diaper according to the present invention, and by aligning a finger with the center mark (9) and pressing it, the guide member (2) can be accurately attached to the anus. Fig. 10 shows how the anus and guide member (2) are aligned when the bag-type diaper according to the present invention is put on the wearer.
[0024] The convenience guide member (2) is disposed in the center of the inner surface (1a) of the main body (1), has an adhesive surface (4) on the inner surface (1a), and comprises a convenience guide line-shaped notch (5) or a convenience guide hole (5') formed so as to penetrate from the adhesive surface (4) to the inner surface (1a) of the main body (1), and a pick-up portion (7) located on the outer periphery of the adhesive surface (4) for making it easier to peel the adhesive surface from the wearer's skin after use of the bag-type diaper.
[0025] The guide member (2) is provided near the center of the inner surface (1a) of the main body (1), and its position is most preferably in the center of the two halves of the bag-type diaper of the present invention both vertically and horizontally, taking into consideration the position of the anus through which defecation occurs and the possibility of slight misalignment when or while the bag-type diaper is being worn.
[0026] The feces guide member (2) functions as an opening for guiding feces into the main body (1) when the wearer of the bag-type diaper of the present invention defecates, and as a blocking part for preventing the feces from flowing back when defecation is completed.
[0027] For this purpose, the feces guide member (2) is attached to the anus and the inter-anal cleft with its adhesive surface (4), and during defecation, the feces guide line slit (5) or feces guide hole (5') opens to conform to the shape of the anus, and the feces is guided into the bag which is the storage section (1c) of the main body (1) through the feces guide line slit (5) or feces guide hole (5') which opens due to the pressure of the feces passing through, and when defecation is completed, the feces guide line slit (5) or feces guide hole (5') closes to conform to the shape of the anus, thereby preventing the feces in the storage section (1c) (or bag) from flowing back and spreading toward the buttocks.
[0028] As described above, the toilet guide member (2) is structured to open and close following the shape of the opening and closing movement of the anus only during defecation, but since the dirt in the anus basically only comes from the opening gap of the toilet guide line slit (5) or the toilet guide hole (5'), the dirt on the buttocks is minimal, which simplifies the nursing work.
[0029] FIG. 9 is a diagram showing the opening and closing movement of such a bowel guide member (2) following the movement of the anus.
[0030] FIG. 1(o) shows the state in which the bag-type diaper of the present invention is worn by the wearer along with the hip line (11) and anus. At this time, the bowel guide slit (5) or bowel guide hole (5') is closed.
[0031] Next, (p) shows the initial state of the wearer's defecation. At this time, stool begins to come out, and the stool guide line slit (5) or stool guide hole (5') opens slightly following the opening of the wearer's anus.
[0032] Next, (q) shows the state of the wearer during defecation. At this time, feces are continuously discharged, the opening of the wearer's anus is at its maximum, and the opening of the fecal guideway (5) or fecal guide hole (5') also becomes larger.
[0033] Finally, (r) shows the state when the wearer has finished defecation. At this time, the fecal guideway slit (5) or fecal guide hole (5') closes to its original state following the closing movement of the anus.
[0034] The above-mentioned action of the bowel guide line slit (5) or bowel guide hole (5') following the opening and closing of the anus is achieved by devising the bowel guide member (2) of the present invention so that the adhesive surface (4) sticks to the wearer's anus, in particular.
[0035] The adhesive surface (4) is formed by laminating an adhesive onto a substrate made of a water-impermeable film or an elastomer film. The water-impermeable film may be the same as that used for the main body (1). The elastomer film may be made of elastic natural or synthetic rubber molded into a sheet or film, and rubbers such as natural rubber latex, water-based or solvent-based polyurethane or polyisoprene, which are particularly excellent in terms of elasticity, tensile strength, and safety, are preferably used.
[0036] It is desirable for the adhesive surface (4) to be entirely adhesive, but as long as it can follow the movement of the wearer's anus from the start to the end of defecation and can prevent feces from spreading and contaminating the area around the anus during and after defecation, it does not necessarily have to be entirely adhesive, but may be only a part of it. For example, the center of the stool guide slit (5) or the vicinity of the pickup area (7) may be made non-adhesive.
[0037] The linear slit (5) or the hole (5') serves to guide feces to the receiving section (1c) of the main body (1) and to prevent the spread of feces towards the buttocks.
[0038] Of course, the toilet guide line-shaped cut (5) and the toilet guide hole (5') can be used together, for example, by providing the toilet guide line-shaped cut (5) on the outer periphery of the toilet guide hole (5').
[0039] Specific examples of the shape of the stool guide linear incision (5) are shown in Figure 8 (h) to (m). That is, there are X-shaped or radial linear incisions based on this, or cross-shaped or multiple transverse linear incisions based on this. Among these, those without vertical incisions such as X-shaped are particularly preferable in order to reduce the spread of stool to the buttocks, genitals, and surrounding areas during defecation.
[0040] In addition, when the incision lines of the conduit slits (5) are X-shaped or cross-shaped or linearly shaped (h, i, j, etc.) that radiate from the center, a sharp cut piece with a right angle or acute angle is formed in the center of the adhesive surface (4), which may cause pain if it pierces the wearer's anus. In such cases, as shown in (k) and (l), the pointed tip of the cut piece can be appropriately cut into, for example, a small or large circle or polygon to avoid such inconvenience of feeling pain.
[0041] On the other hand, by pre-opening a circular or polygonal hole in the center of the stool guideline slit (5), the wearer's comfort can be improved and defecation can be facilitated. In addition, the area around the center of the stool guideline slit (5) can be prevented from becoming soiled by defecation. When a hole is pre-opened in the center of the stool guideline slit (5) in this way, it becomes necessary to take measures such as wiping the area around the wearer's anus clean when putting on and taking off the bag-type diaper after use. However, similar measures are necessary even if no such hole is provided, and it can be said that this is not a major inconvenience.
[0042] It is also possible to use the diaper to receive urine by extending the stool conduit slit (5). However, if necessary, measures must be taken to prevent urine from leaking outside the diaper, such as shaving the hair around the genitals or using a water-absorbent polymer or coagulant in the storage section (1c) of the main body (1).
[0043] An example of a specific shape of the guide hole (5') is shown in Figure 8 (n). The guide hole (5') is arranged in the approximate center of the adhesive surface (4) and has a circular, elliptical or polygonal opening.
[0044] The entire adhesive surface (4) can be made of an elastomer film substrate, or only a portion of the center of the adhesive surface (4) can be made of an elastomer film substrate. In either case, the elastomer film substrate is fixed to a non-permeable film on the inner surface (1a) of the main body (1) that is cut and opened to match the overall shape and size of the toilet guide member (2) or to match a portion of the center of the toilet guide member (2) by means of an adhesive or heat fusion process, and the position of the toilet guide hole (5') is determined and installed.
[0045] The size and shape of the bowel guide member (2) can be freely determined within a range that fits within the center of the inner surface (1a) of the main body part (1); however, it is necessary to determine the optimum range and shape, firstly, to reliably guide the feces into the storage part (1c) of the main body part (1) and to prevent the wearer's buttocks from becoming soiled, and secondly, taking into consideration the comfort of wearing the bowel guide member around the wearer's buttocks and anus, and the convenience of placing the adhesive fixing part (3) and the top sheet (6), etc.
[0046] As an example, as shown in FIG. 8(h), the length and width are approximately 100 mm to 120 mm and approximately 70 mm to 90 mm, respectively, and the shape is preferably a vertically long rectangle or ellipse.
[0047] The size of the stool guideline slit (5) is designed based on the maximum opening of the wearer's anus. As an example, as shown in FIG. 8(h), assuming that the maximum diameter of the stool is about 35 mm, the length and width should be about 40 mm and 35 mm, respectively.
[0048] Furthermore, the diameter of the opening of the fecal guide hole (5') depends on the elasticity of the elastomer film of the base material, but since the maximum diameter of stool is about 35 mm, it is desirable that it is less than this, and it is desirable that it is even smaller in order to reduce the spread of stool to the anus and its surroundings. Specifically, the diameter of the opening is preferably about 30 mm or less, more preferably about 20 mm or less, and even more preferably about 15 mm or less.
[0049] The fixing adhesive part (3) is attached to the buttocks or the lower back near the tailbone of the wearer to fix the bag-type diaper of the present invention in place. As shown in Fig. 7, at least one fixing adhesive part (3) is provided on the inner surface (1a) around the convenience guide member (2), on the outer side of the outer edge of the inner surface (1a), or on both. It is preferable to provide multiple adhesive parts in order to increase the reliability and strength of the fixation to the wearer's body.
[0050] When the adhesive fixing portion (3) is provided only on the inner surface (1a) around the guide member (2), it is preferable to provide it continuously or dividedly at a plurality of locations on the left, right or upper part of the guide member (2).
[0051] When the adhesive fixing part (3) is installed on the outer side of the outer edge of the inner side surface (1a), the outer side surface (1b) of the main body part (1) is used, and a single-sided adhesive tape is attached so that it partially protrudes outside the inner side surface (1a) of the main body part (1). In this case, it is preferable to install it continuously or divided into multiple places on the left and right sides or on the upper part so as to surround the inner side surface (1a) of the main body part (1).
[0052] On the other hand, when disposing of the diaper after use, as shown in FIG. 5, the diaper is folded from the center of the inner surface (1a) and the fixing adhesive parts (3) are stuck together, and the diaper's urinary guide member (2) is sealed once or twice to form a bag-like structure that encases the faeces, which is convenient for disposal.
[0053] The adhesive fixing part (3) can be formed by applying an adhesive to the inner surface (1a) of the main body part (1), by attaching a double-sided adhesive tape to the inner surface (1a), or by attaching a single-sided adhesive tape to the outer surface (1b). The position, shape and area of the adhesive fixing part (3) can be appropriately changed according to the wearer's physique, as shown in FIG. 7.
[0054] Examples of materials and adhesives used in each part of the adhesive surface (4) or fixing adhesive part (5) of the present invention include, but are not limited to, urethane gel, rubber-based adhesives, acrylic-based adhesives, silicone-based adhesives, and hydrocolloids.
[0055] The top sheet (6) covers the portion of the inner surface (1a) that comes into direct contact with the skin, excluding the guide member (2) and the adhesive fixing portion (5), and is hypoallergenic to the skin and permeable to liquids such as water, improving comfort for the wearer.
[0056] Examples of materials for such a top sheet (6) include nonwoven fabrics, woven fabrics, mesh sheets, paper, and plastic films with liquid permeable holes. Examples of materials constituting the fibers for forming the nonwoven fabric or woven fabric of the top sheet material include polyolefins, polyesters, nylons, cellulose, rayon, and cotton. Examples of polyolefins include polypropylene and polyethylene. Examples of polyesters include polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and polybutylene terephthalate. In addition, the fibers for forming the nonwoven fabric or woven fabric of the top sheet material are preferably hydrophilic fibers, or hydrophobic fibers whose surfaces have been made hydrophilic by surface treatment with a surfactant.
[0057] The pick-up portion (7) abuts the main body portion (1) in a non-adhesive manner over a predetermined width on all or part of the outer periphery of the adhesive surface (4) of the convenience guide member (2). The pick-up portion (7) is not coated with adhesive, and when the bag-type diaper of the present invention is to be removed after use, the convenience guide member (2) can be easily peeled off from the wearer's body via the pick-up portion (7). This prevents the wearer's skin from being easily injured when the adhesive surface (4) is forcibly peeled off with the fingertips, etc.
[0058] The pickup section (7) is made of a flexible material. Examples of flexible materials for the pickup section (7) include paper materials, rubber-based materials, sponge materials, and other resin materials. Paper materials that have a certain degree of flexibility and water resistance are preferably used. Examples of rubber-based materials include silicone rubber, chloroprene rubber, urethane rubber, and ethylene propylene rubber, and examples of sponge materials include cellulose sponge, polyurethane sponge, and melamine sponge. Examples of the resin materials include silicone resin, polyurethane resin, and soft polyvinyl chloride.
[0059] The pick-up portion (7) must have a predetermined width and thickness. The width may be about 2 mm to about 5 mm, and a width of about 3 mm is preferable. The thickness should be as thin as possible so that the wearer does not feel uncomfortable when wearing the pick-up portion (7). The shape of the pick-up portion (7) may be continuous or discontinuous, and the width may be constant or not, and it is important that the guide member (2) is designed to be as easy to peel off as possible.
[0060] The release paper (8) covers the adhesive surface (4) and the surface of the fixing adhesive part (5) when the bag-type diaper of the present invention is stored, and serves to prevent deterioration of the adhesive surface and adhesive part and the adhesion of dirt. When using the diaper, the release paper is peeled off to attach and fix the diaper to the wearer's body.
[0061] The string or band (10) is attached to the outer periphery of the main body (1) as necessary to assist in fastening the bag-type diaper of the present invention to the wearer's body, and serves to prevent the bag-type diaper from shifting or partially coming off when the wearer moves around while wearing the bag-type diaper.
[0062] The free ends of the strings or bands (10) can be tied together, or adhesive parts can be formed at the free ends so that they can be attached to each other or to the wearer's body, or the free ends can be made into hook-and-loop fasteners (pile and hook) so that they can be overlapped and secured together.
[0063] The bag-type diaper of the present invention can be manufactured relatively easily by providing or forming the guide member (2), the adhesive part for fixing (3) and the top sheet (6) for contacting the skin on the inner surface (1a) of the main body (1).
[0064] In this case, there is a manufacturing method in which the guide member (2), the adhesive part for fixing (3) and the top sheet (6) which are separately prepared in advance are attached to the main body part (1) at predetermined positions.
[0065] As another manufacturing method, an adhesive is first applied to the entire inner surface (1a) of the main body (1), then a top sheet (6) cut to the shape of the part that will come into direct contact with human skin is attached, and then the release paper for the pickup part for the convenience guide member (2), the adhesive surface of the convenience guide member (2), and the adhesive part for fixing are adhesively fixed in their respective predetermined positions, which makes the manufacturing process even easier. In other words, in the case of this manufacturing method, the adhesive that has been applied to the entire inner surface (1a) in advance can be used as it is for the adhesive surface (4) of the convenience guide member (2) and the adhesive part for fixing (3).
[0066] The method of using the bag-type diaper of the present invention is particularly characterized in that the bowel guide line-shaped slit (5) or bowel guide hole (5') of the bowel guide member (2) is brought into contact with the wearer's anus, and the adhesive surface (4) is adhered to the wearer's intergluteal cleft including the anus.
[0067] By having the wearer wear the device in this manner, the bowel guide line-shaped slit (5) or bowel guide hole (5') of the bowel guide member (2) can be opened and closed in response to the opening and closing of the anus during defecation by the wearer.
[0068] As an example of the method of actually wearing the bag-type diaper of the present invention, first, the release paper (8) on the adhesive surface (4) of the toilet guide member (2) is peeled off, and then the inner surface (1a) is brought into contact with the wearer's body from the buttocks toward the intergluteal cleft. Next, using the center mark (9) on the outer surface (1b) of the main body as a guide, the toilet guide line-shaped cut (5) or toilet guide hole (5') of the toilet guide member (2) is pressed with the fingers so as to bring it into contact with the wearer's anus, and the adhesive surface (4) of the toilet guide member (2) is adhered to the intergluteal cleft including the anus of the wearer. After that, the release paper (8) on the fixing adhesive portion (3) is peeled off, and the toilet guide member is adhered and fixed to the wearer's buttocks or lower back around the tailbone. If necessary, the toilet guide member is fixed to the wearer's body using an auxiliary fixing string or band (10).
[0069] After use, the bag-type diaper of the present invention is first peeled off or untied from the adhesive fixing part (3) and the auxiliary fixing string or band (10), and then the adhesive surface (4) of the convenience guide member (2) is peeled off from the wearer's anus and the anal cleft using the pickup part (7) of the convenience guide member (2). Then, in preparation for disposal, the convenience guide member (2) is folded along the center from left to right as shown in Figure 4, pasted together and sealed. This allows the bag-type diaper to perform multiple hygienic functions, such as preventing the leakage of waste from the main body part (1) and the associated release of bacteria, and reducing the release of bad odors.
[0070] Furthermore, by folding and adhering the fixing adhesive parts (3) around the left, right and top of the guide member (2) so that they face each other, hygiene and safety can be improved when the diaper is disposed of after use.
[0071] Although the present invention has been described mainly with respect to the treatment of feces, it can also be applied to the treatment of urine. However, since urine is a liquid, there is a risk that leakage may not be sufficiently prevented. In such a case, as described above, improvements can be made by shaving the wearer's body hair to make it easier to adhere and fix the adhesive surface (4) of the feces-guiding member (2) and the adhesive part for fixing (3), or by placing a water-absorbent polymer, a urine coagulant, or the like in the storage part (1c) of the main body part (1).
[0072] Examples of the constituent materials of the water-absorbent polymer and the urine coagulant include polyacrylic acid resins, polyaspartic acid resins, and cellulose resins. [Industrial Applicability]
[0073] The bag-type diaper of the present invention reduces the discomfort felt by the wearer during use, reduces the number of steps required for caregivers to change diapers, and reduces the labor burden on the caregiver, and also reduces the release of bacteria and other germs and the emission of bad odors. Furthermore, since it does not use water-absorbent polymers, it reduces the total amount of food waste disposed of after use and also reduces the environmental impact. In addition, the bag-type diaper of the present invention can be manufactured easily and inexpensively, and since it has a small volume, it requires less space in the stockyard and requires less transportation costs.
