To provide a heat exchanger having a filtering device which can easily and further favorably control a hold of a catalyst in a passage, and a charge of the passage during the manufacturing of the heat exchanger.SOLUTION: A heat exchanger comprises: an exchanging body 1 having a plurality of first passages for a first fluid, and a plurality of second passages for a second fluid which exchanges heat with the first fluid; a first inlet manifold for introducing the first fluid into the first passages; and a first outlet manifold for discharging the first fluid. The heat exchanger also comprises an inlet face 11 at which the first passages are fluid-connected to the first inlet manifold, and an outlet face which is fluid-connected to the first outlet manifold. The heat exchanger further comprises an inlet filter 31 disposed while facing the inlet face of the exchanging body 1, and / or an outlet filter disposed while facing the outlet face of the exchanging body 1.
