Backflow prevention mechanism of ball mill

Abstract

An object of the present invention is to provide a backflow prevention mechanism of a ball mill with simple configuration, which has no influence on operation of the ball mill as charging amount of water and raw material is not decreased, even in a case that slurry in the ball mill flows backward. A backflow prevention mechanism of a ball mill for preventing malfunction by backflow of slurry when using the ball mill, wherein a backflow preventing plate 18 is arranged along periphery of an inlet port 12 of the ball mill 10, and a length L1 in radial direction from an inner edge of the inlet port 12 to an end of the backflow preventing plate 18 is longer than a length L2 in radial direction from an inner edge of the inlet port 12 to a slide bearing 17 of the ball mill 10.
