New arteriovenous access system for hemodialysis and for related procedures

Abstract

The invention relates to a new arteriovenous access system which can be used in vessels (arteries, veins and a dialysis shunt). The invention relates to an arteriovenous access system for blood vessels, comprising: - a tube-shaped tubular body (1), - having a slot (2) in the longitudinal direction (3), with respect to the tube shape, which divides the tubular body (1) into a left portion (2a) and a right portion (2b) with an axis of reflection (2c) therebetween; - at least four cutouts (4) in the tubular body, of which at least two are arranged in the left portion and at least two are arranged in the right portion; and - a hollow connecting piece (5) on the tubular body for connection to a blood vessel, the hollow connecting piece being connected to the tubular body at an acute angle (α) not equal to 90°, wherein the angle (α) is measured in the longitudinal direction. The invention also relates to an associated kit having this access system.
