Abstract
The present invention is an ergonomic pulp extractor tool for ice apple to automate and simplify the process of extracting pulp from delicate ice apples. The equipment consists of a feeding tray (1), for receiving and orienting the ice apples, a conveyor belt (2), for transporting the fruits in a smooth manner to the processing station, and a robotic arm (3), equipped with a rotating hand (4) fitted with silicone-coated fingers for non-destructive manipulation. The second process is then succeeded by gripping the ice apple in the serrating unit (5), where the cutting blade (6) severs the outer shell but not the pulp. Following the cut, a pulp extractor mechanism (7) gently peels off the soft pulp from the skin with optimum yield and quality retention. Sensors (8) arranged throughout the device ensure simultaneous grip, cut, and extraction operation. Hygienic collection of removed pulp occurs in a storage box (10). The entire system is controlled by a programmable controller, providing automatic, efficient, and safe removal of pulp for industrial and commercial applications.
