Method for producing adjacent strips of a support layer for a cover layer of a wooden panel element

Abstract

A method for producing adjacent strips (2) of a support layer (1) for a cover layer (3) of a wooden panel element is described, wherein the strips (2) are cut vertically from boards (4) that may have defects (8) by parallel separation cuts (10). In order to achieve advantageous manufacturing conditions, it is proposed that the strips (2) be cut from a composite board (9) that has at least two layers (6, 7) glued together in a composite layer in which any defects (8) are offset from one another.
