Abstract

A vacuum valve (1) for gas-tight interruption and control of a flow path, comprising a valve housing (2) with a first valve opening (4) and a second valve opening (5), a closing element (3) which is arranged in an interior of the valve housing (2) and is movable along an axis (6) between an open position and a closed position, and which, in the closed position, rests against a valve seat (7) and, in the open position, is lifted from the valve seat (7) so that, in the open position, a passage through the valve extending from the first valve opening (4) to the second valve opening (5) is open. The valve has a tube section (11) in which the valve seat (7) is formed. The tube section (11) is inserted into the valve housing (2) via a fit and is detachably fixed in the valve housing (2) by a retaining ring (10). The closing element (3) has a thread that engages in a thread of a threaded insert (22).The threaded insert (22) is inserted into the valve housing (2) via a fit so that it can be pulled out and is secured in the valve housing (2) by a retaining ring (23) which can be removed.
