Abstract

Ventilation box with a housing (1) comprising an air inlet chamber (3) and an air outlet chamber (6), wherein the air outlet chamber (Ü6) has an air outlet surface (12) which is or can be perforated, and the air outlet chamber (6) has a region whose flow cross-section extending perpendicular to the air outlet surface (12) narrows, preferably continuously, in the outlet flow direction (10), and which is bounded by an inclined wall (7) which forms an angle of 5-20° with the air outlet surface (12), wherein the air inlet chamber (3) is formed by a flat duct (2) which has an air inlet opening (4) and defines an inlet flow direction (11) substantially opposite to the outlet flow direction (10), wherein the flat duct (4) is connected to the air outlet chamber (3) via a duct section (5) which generates a substantially 180° air deflection. The barrel exit chamber (6) is connected.
