Abstract
Description
Technical Field
[0001] The present invention relates to a laminated coil component. Background Art
[0002] As an existing laminated coil component, for example, there is known a laminated coil component disclosed in Patent Document 1 (Japanese Patent Publication No. 2017-73536). The laminated coil component described in Patent Document 1 includes a body, a coil arranged in the body and having a coil axis extending in relative directions of a pair of side surfaces of the body, and a pair of terminal electrodes embedded in the body and arranged across the end surface and mounting surface of the body. Summary of the invention
[0003] In order to improve the characteristics of a stacked coil component, it is desirable to increase the diameter of the coil. However, in a structure in which the terminal electrode is arranged in the body, when the diameter of the coil is increased, the distance between the terminal electrode and the coil becomes shorter. As a result, the stray capacitance (parasitic capacitance) formed by the coil and the terminal electrode becomes larger, and the characteristics are reduced. Therefore, in the existing stacked coil component, in order to ensure the distance between the coil and the terminal electrode, the terminal electrode is set to an L-shape.
[0004] In addition, in the stacked coil component, in order to firmly fix it to the circuit substrate or the like by solder, a structure in which the terminal electrode is also exposed on the side of the element body, and solder can also be formed on the terminal electrode located on the side of the element body. The stacked coil component with this structure is manufactured by stacking the conductor pattern constituting the coil and the electrode layer constituting the terminal electrode. In the case where the shapes of the multiple electrode layers are the same, it is difficult to ensure the area of the contact (opposite) surface with the element body in each electrode layer. Therefore, in particular, among the multiple electrode layers constituting the terminal electrode, the outermost electrode layer exposed on the side of the element body may be peeled off during its manufacturing process, and a defect is likely to occur. Therefore, a defect may occur in the formed terminal electrode.
[0005] One aspect of the present invention is to provide a laminated coil component capable of suppressing the occurrence of malfunctions in terminal electrodes.
[0006] According to one aspect of the present invention, a stacked coil component comprises: a body having a plurality of stacked dielectric layers and having a pair of end faces opposite to each other, a pair of main faces opposite to each other, and a pair of side faces opposite to each other in the stacking direction of the plurality of dielectric layers, and one main face is a mounting face; a coil arranged in the body, and the coil axis extends in the stacking direction; and a pair of terminal electrodes connected to the coil and buried in the body in each of a pair of end face sides of the body, each of the pair of terminal electrodes being formed by stacking a plurality of electrode layers having different shapes in the stacking direction and exposed at the end face, the mounting face and a pair of side faces, and when viewed from the stacking direction, an electrode portion of the terminal electrode formed by one electrode layer and exposed at the side face of the body has an overlapping portion in which one electrode layer overlaps with at least a portion of another electrode portion formed by another electrode layer adjacent to the stacking direction, and a non-overlapping portion that does not overlap with the other electrode portion.
[0007] In a laminated coil component according to one aspect of the present invention, one electrode portion of a terminal electrode has an overlapping portion that overlaps at least a portion of another electrode portion, and a non-overlapping portion that does not overlap with the other electrode portion.
[0008] In the non-overlapping portion of one electrode portion exposed on the side of the element body, the contact area with the element body can be ensured on the surface opposite to the element body. Therefore, in the laminated coil component, since the bonding strength between the terminal electrode and the element body can be ensured, the terminal electrode can be prevented from peeling off from the element body. As a result, in the laminated coil component, the occurrence of a defect in the terminal electrode can be suppressed.
[0009] In one embodiment, another electrode portion, when viewed from the stacking direction, may include a first portion extending in the relative direction of a pair of main surfaces and a second portion extending in the relative direction of a pair of end surfaces, and a non-repeating portion of an electrode portion, when viewed from the stacking direction, includes an area corresponding to a corner portion formed by the first portion and the second portion. In this structure, in the non-repeating portion, the contact area with the element body can be more reliably ensured. Therefore, in the stacked coil component, it is possible to suppress the terminal electrode from peeling off from the element body, and to suppress the occurrence of adverse conditions in the terminal electrode.
[0010] In one embodiment, the non-repeating portion of an electrode portion may have a portion that is convexly curved toward a direction of separation from the coil when viewed from the stacking direction. In this structure, the contact area with the element body can be ensured in the non-repeating portion, and the stray capacitance generated between the coil and the electrode portion can be reduced.
[0011] In one embodiment, the non-repeating portion of one electrode portion may have a concave-convex portion when viewed from the stacking direction. In this structure, the contact area with the element body can be ensured in the non-repeating portion, and the stray capacitance generated between the coil and the electrode portion can be reduced.
[0012] In one embodiment, when viewed from the stacking direction, each of the pair of terminal electrodes does not overlap with the coil. In this structure, the stray capacitance generated between each of the pair of terminal electrodes and the coil can be reduced. Thus, in the stacked coil component, the characteristics can be improved.
[0013] In one embodiment, when viewed from the relative direction of a pair of end faces, each of the pair of terminal electrodes does not overlap with the coil. In this structure, the stray capacitance generated between each of the pair of terminal electrodes and the coil can be reduced. Thus, in the stacked coil component, the characteristics can be improved.
[0014] According to one aspect of the present invention, it is possible to suppress the occurrence of malfunctions in terminal electrodes. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

The relative direction of the pair of end faces 2a and 2b, that is, the direction parallel to the main faces 2c and 2d, is the second direction D2. The relative direction of the pair of side faces 2e and 2f is the third direction D3. In the present embodiment, the first direction D1 is the height direction of the element body 2. The second direction D2 is the long side direction of the element body 2 and is orthogonal to the first direction D1. The coil 8 is electrically connected to the terminal electrode 4 through the third connection conductor 27 and the fourth connection conductor 28.
[0063] The first coil conductor 22, the second coil conductor 23, the third coil conductor 24, the fourth coil conductor 25, the fifth coil conductor 26, the first connecting conductor 20, the second connecting conductor 21, the third connecting conductor 27, the fourth connecting conductor 28, and the connecting conductors 20a and 28a contain a conductive material. The conductive material contains Ag or Pd. The first coil conductor 22, the second coil conductor 23, the third coil conductor 24, the fourth coil conductor 25, the fifth coil conductor 26, the first connecting conductor 20, the second connecting conductor 21, the third connecting conductor 27, the fourth connecting conductor 28, and the connecting conductors 20a and 28a are configured as a sintered body of a conductive paste containing a conductive material powder. The conductive material powder, for example, contains Ag powder or Pd powder.
[0064] In the present embodiment, the first coil conductor 22, the second coil conductor 23, the third coil conductor 24, the fourth coil conductor 25, the fifth coil conductor 26, the first connecting conductor 20, the second connecting conductor 21, the third connecting conductor 27, the fourth connecting conductor 28, and the connecting conductors 20a and 28a include the same conductive material as the terminal electrodes 4 and 5. The first coil conductor 22, the second coil conductor 23, the third coil conductor 24, the fourth coil conductor 25, the fifth coil conductor 26, the first connecting conductor 20, the second connecting conductor 21, the third connecting conductor 27, the fourth connecting conductor 28, and the connecting conductors 20a and 28a may include a conductive material different from that of the terminal electrodes 4 and 5.
[0065] The first coil conductor 22, the second coil conductor 23, the third coil conductor 24, the fourth coil conductor 25, the fifth coil conductor 26, the first connection conductor 20, the second connection conductor 21, the third connection conductor 27, the fourth connection conductor 28, and the connecting conductors 20a and 28a are provided in the defective portions formed in the corresponding dielectric layer 6. The first coil conductor 22, the second coil conductor 23, the third coil conductor 24, the fourth coil conductor 25, the fifth coil conductor 26, the first connection conductor 20, the second connection conductor 21, the third connection conductor 27, the fourth connection conductor 28, and the connecting conductors 20a and 28a are formed by firing the conductive paste located in the defective portion formed in the green sheet. The green sheet and the conductive paste are fired simultaneously as described above. Therefore, when the dielectric layer 6 is obtained from the raw sheet, the first coil conductor 22, the second coil conductor 23, the third coil conductor 24, the fourth coil conductor 25, the fifth coil conductor 26, the first connecting conductor 20, the second connecting conductor 21, the third connecting conductor 27, the fourth connecting conductor 28, and the connecting conductors 20a and 28a are obtained from the conductive paste.
[0066] The defective portion formed on the raw sheet is formed, for example, by the following process. First, a raw sheet is formed by applying a base body paste containing the constituent material of the dielectric layer 6 and a photosensitive material to a substrate. The substrate is, for example, a PET film. The photosensitive material contained in the base body paste may be either a negative type or a positive type, and a known material may be used. Next, the raw sheet is exposed and developed by photolithography using a mask corresponding to the defective portion, and the defective portion is formed on the raw sheet on the substrate. The raw sheet on which the defective portion is formed is a base body pattern.
[0067] The electrode layers 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, the first coil conductor 22, the second coil conductor 23, the third coil conductor 24, the fourth coil conductor 25, the fifth coil conductor 26, the first connecting conductor 20, the second connecting conductor 21, the third connecting conductor 27, the fourth connecting conductor 28, and the connecting conductors 20a, 28a are formed, for example, by the following process.
[0068] First, a conductive material layer is formed by applying a conductive paste containing a photosensitive material on a substrate. The photosensitive material contained in the conductive paste may be either a negative type or a positive type, and a known material may be used. Next, the conductive material layer is exposed and developed by photolithography using a mask corresponding to the defective portion, thereby forming a conductor pattern corresponding to the shape of the defective portion on the substrate.
[0069] The laminated coil component 1 is obtained, for example, by the following process following the above process. A sheet located on the same layer as the body pattern and the conductor pattern is prepared by combining a conductor pattern with a missing portion of the body pattern. After heat-treating a laminated body obtained by laminating a predetermined number of prepared sheets, a plurality of raw chips are obtained from the laminated body. In this process, for example, the raw laminated body is cut into chip shapes by a cutting machine. Thus, a plurality of raw chips of a predetermined size can be obtained. Then, the raw chips are fired. By this firing, the laminated coil component 1 is obtained. In the laminated coil component 1, the terminal electrodes 4 and 5 are formed integrally with the coil 8.
[0070] like Figure 2 As shown in FIG. 1 , when viewed from the third direction D3, the terminal electrode 4 does not overlap with the coil 8. Similarly, when viewed from the third direction D3, the terminal electrode 5 does not overlap with the coil 8. Figure 4B As shown, when viewed from the second direction D2, the terminal electrode 4 does not overlap with the coil 8. Similarly, when viewed from the second direction D2, the terminal electrode 5 does not overlap with the coil 8.
[0071] In the manufacturing process of the laminated coil component 1, as described above, a predetermined number of sheets are stacked on a substrate to obtain a laminate, and the laminate is cut. When the laminate is cut, the laminate is peeled off from the substrate. At this time, if the bonding force between the electrode layers 10, 11 and the dielectric layer 6 is small, the electrode layers 10, 11 arranged on the substrate may adhere to the substrate and be damaged, or a portion of the electrode layers 10, 11 may be peeled off from the laminate. In addition, when cutting by a cutter, the surface in contact with the substrate is set as the entry surface of the blade of the cutter. At this time, there is a risk of peeling of the electrode layers 10, 11 by the blade of the cutter, especially when a portion of the electrode layers 10, 11 has been peeled off, the electrode layers 10, 11 can be easily peeled off when the blade enters. When roller polishing is performed in a state where the electrode layers 10, 11 are peeled off, the terminal electrodes 4, 5 may be peeled off from the element body 2.
[0072] Regarding the above-mentioned problem, in the laminated coil component 1 according to the present embodiment, the electrode portions 4a and 4e of the terminal electrode 4 have an overlapping portion A1 overlapping with at least a portion of the electrode portions 4b and 4d and a non-overlapping portion A2 not overlapping with the electrode portions 4b and 4d. Thus, in the laminated coil component 1, in the non-overlapping portion A2 of the electrode portions 4a and 4e exposed on the side surfaces 2e and 2f of the element body 2, the contact area with the element body 2 can be ensured on the surface facing the element body 2. The bonding force between the electrode portions 4a, 4b, 4c, 4d, and 4e and the element body 2 is greater than the bonding force between the electrode portions 4a, 4b, 4c, 4d, and 4e. The terminal electrode 5 also has the same structure. Therefore, in the laminated coil component 1, by ensuring the bonding strength between the terminal electrodes 4 and 5 and the element body 2, it is possible to suppress the terminal electrodes 4 and 5 from peeling off from the element body 2. As a result, in the laminated coil component 1, it is possible to suppress the occurrence of defects in the terminal electrodes 4 and 5.
[0073] In the laminated coil component 1 involved in this embodiment, the electrode parts 4b, 4d, when viewed from the third direction D3, are L-shaped and have a first part extending along the first direction D1 and a second part extending along the second direction D2. The non-repeating part A2 of the electrode parts 4a, 4e includes an area corresponding to the corner formed by the first part and the second part. In this structure, in the non-repeating part A2, the contact area with the element body 2 can be more reliably ensured. Therefore, in the laminated coil component 1, the terminal electrodes 4, 5 can be prevented from peeling off from the element body 2, and the occurrence of adverse conditions in the terminal electrodes 4, 5 can be prevented.
[0074] In the laminated coil component 1 according to the present embodiment, when viewed from the third direction D3, each of the pair of terminal electrodes 4 and 5 does not overlap with the coil 8. In this structure, the stray capacitance generated between each of the pair of terminal electrodes 4 and 5 and the coil 8 can be reduced. Thus, in the laminated coil component 1, the characteristics can be improved.
[0075] In the laminated coil component 1 according to the present embodiment, when viewed from the second direction D2, each of the pair of terminal electrodes 4 and 5 does not overlap with the coil 8. In this structure, the stray capacitance generated between each of the pair of terminal electrodes 4 and 5 and the coil 8 can be reduced. Thus, in the laminated coil component 1, the characteristics can be improved.
[0076] [Second embodiment]
[0077] Next, the second embodiment will be described. Figure 5 , Fig. 7A and Figure 7B As shown, the laminated coil component 1A includes an element body 2 and a pair of terminal electrodes 4A and 5A. The laminated coil component 1A is different in structure from the laminated coil component 1 in terms of the terminal electrodes 4A and 5A.
[0078] The terminal electrode 4A is exposed on the end surface 2a, the main surface 2d, and the side surfaces 2e and 2f. The terminal electrode 4A has a plurality of electrode portions 4Aa, 4Ab, 4Ac, 4Ad, and 4Ae. The electrode portions 4Aa, 4Ac, and 4Ae have the same structure as the electrode portions 4a, 4c, and 4e of the laminated coil component 1.
[0079] The electrode portions 4Ab and 4Ad are L-shaped when viewed from the third direction D3. The electrode portions 4Ab and 4Ad have a first portion extending along the first direction D1 and a second portion extending along the second direction D2, and the first portion and the second portion are connected at the ridgeline of the element body 2. Figure 7B As shown, in the electrode portion 4Ab, a portion of the side surface 2e side becomes lower than the side surface 2f side in the first direction D1. In the electrode portion 4Ad, a portion of the side surface 2f side becomes lower than the side surface 2e side in the first direction D1.
[0080] The electrode portion 4Ae (4Aa) has a repeating portion A1 that overlaps with the electrode portion 4Ad (4Ab) and a non-repeating portion A2 that does not overlap with the electrode portion 4Ad (4Ab) when viewed from the third direction D3. That is, the electrode portion 4Ae (4Aa) has a portion that overlaps with the adjacent electrode portion in the third direction D3 and a portion that does not overlap. In the electrode portion 4Ae (4Aa), the non-repeating portion A2 that does not overlap with the electrode portion 4Ad (4Ab) includes a region corresponding to a corner portion where the first portion and the second portion of the electrode portion 4Ad (4Ab) are formed in an L-shaped shape, for example, in a triangular shape. In the non-repeating portion A2, one side surface in the third direction D3 is exposed, and the other side surface is in contact with the element body 2.
[0081] like Figure 6 As shown, the terminal electrode 4A is composed of a plurality of electrode layers 10, a plurality of electrode layers 12, a plurality of electrode layers 14, and a plurality of electrode layers 16 stacked. In the present embodiment, the number of electrode layers 10 is "2", the number of electrode layers 12 is "2", the number of electrode layers 14 is "7", and the number of electrode layers 16 is "2". The electrode layer 16 constitutes the electrode portions 4Ab and 4Ad. The height of the electrode layer 16 in the first direction is lower than that of the electrode layer 12. As a result, the end portions of the electrode portions 4Ab and 4Ad constituted by the electrode layers 12 and 16 on the main surface 2c side are stepped.
[0082] like Figure 5 , Fig. 7A and Figure 7B As shown, the terminal electrode 5A is exposed on the end surface 2b, the main surface 2d, and the side surfaces 2e and 2f. The terminal electrode 5A has a plurality of electrode portions 5Aa, 5Ab, 5Ac, 5Ad, and 5Ae. The electrode portions 5Aa, 5Ac, and 5Ae have the same structure as the electrode portions 5a, 5c, and 5e of the laminated coil component 1.
[0083] The electrode portions 5Ab and 5Ad are L-shaped when viewed from the third direction D3. The electrode portions 5Ab and 5Ad have a first portion extending along the first direction D1 and a second portion extending along the second direction D2, and the first portion and the second portion are connected at the ridgeline of the element body 2. Figure 7B As shown, in the electrode portion 5Ab, a portion of the side surface 2e side becomes lower than the side surface 2f side in the first direction D1. In the electrode portion 5Ad, a portion of the side surface 2f side becomes lower than the side surface 2e side in the first direction D1.
[0084] The electrode portion 5Ae (5Aa) has an overlapping portion A1 that overlaps with the electrode portion 5Ad (5Ab) and a non-overlapping portion A2 that does not overlap with the electrode portion 5Ad (5Ab) when viewed from the third direction D3. That is, the electrode portion 5Ae (5Aa) has a portion that overlaps with the adjacent electrode portion in the third direction D3 and a portion that does not overlap. In the electrode portion 5Ae (5Aa), the non-overlapping portion A2 that does not overlap with the electrode portion 5Ad (5Ab) includes an area corresponding to a corner portion where the first portion and the second portion of the electrode portion 5Ad (5Ab) are formed in an L-shaped shape, for example, in a triangular shape. In the non-overlapping portion A2, one side surface in the third direction D3 is exposed, and the other side surface is in contact with the element body 2.
[0085] like Figure 6 As shown, the terminal electrode 5A is composed of a plurality of electrode layers 11, a plurality of electrode layers 13, a plurality of electrode layers 15, and a plurality of electrode layers 17 stacked. In this embodiment, the number of electrode layers 11 is "2", the number of electrode layers 13 is "2", the number of electrode layers 15 is "7", and the number of electrode layers 17 is "2". The electrode layer 17 constitutes the electrode parts 5Ab and 5Ad. The height of the electrode layer 17 in the first direction is lower than that of the electrode layer 13. As a result, the end portions of the electrode parts 5Ab and 5Ad constituted by the electrode layers 13 and 17 on the main surface 2c side are stepped.
[0086] As described above, the laminated coil component 1A according to the present embodiment has the same operational effects as those of the laminated coil component 1 .
[0087] [Third Embodiment]
[0088] Next, the third embodiment will be described. Figure 8 , Fig. 10A and Fig. 10B As shown, the laminated coil component 1B includes an element body 2 and a pair of terminal electrodes 4B and 5B. The laminated coil component 1B is different in structure from the laminated coil component 1 in terms of the terminal electrodes 4B and 5B.
[0089] The terminal electrode 4B is exposed on the end surface 2a, the main surface 2d, and the side surfaces 2e and 2f. The terminal electrode 4B has a plurality of electrode portions 4Ba, 4Bb, 4Bc, 4Bd, and 4Be. The electrode portions 4Ba, 4Bc, and 4Be have the same structure as the electrode portions 4a, 4c, and 4e of the laminated coil component 1.
[0090] The electrode parts 4Bb and 4Bd are L-shaped when viewed from the third direction D3. The electrode parts 4Bb and 4Bd have a first portion extending along the first direction D1 and a second portion extending along the second direction D2, and the first portion and the second portion are connected at the ridgeline of the element body 2. Fig. 10B As shown, in the electrode portion 4Bb, a portion of the side surface 2f side becomes lower in the first direction D1 than the side surface 2e side. In the electrode portion 4Bd, a portion of the side surface 2e side becomes lower in the first direction D1 than the side surface 2f side.
[0091] The electrode portion 4Be (4Ba) has a repeating portion A1 that overlaps with the electrode portion 4Bd (4Bb) and a non-repeating portion A2 that does not overlap with the electrode portion 4Bd (4Bb) when viewed from the third direction D3. That is, the electrode portion 4Be (4Ba) has a portion that overlaps with the adjacent electrode portion in the third direction D3 and a portion that does not overlap. In the electrode portion 4Be (4Ba), the non-repeating portion A2 that does not overlap with the electrode portion 4Bd (4Bb) includes an area corresponding to a corner portion where the first portion and the second portion of the electrode portion 4Bd (4Bb) are formed in an L-shaped shape, for example, in a triangular shape. In the non-repeating portion A2, one side surface in the third direction D3 is exposed, and the other side surface is in contact with the element body 2.
[0092] like Fig. 9 As shown, the terminal electrode 4B is composed of a plurality of electrode layers 10, a plurality of electrode layers 12, a plurality of electrode layers 14, and a plurality of electrode layers 18 stacked. In the present embodiment, the number of electrode layers 10 is "2", the number of electrode layers 12 is "2", the number of electrode layers 14 is "7", and the number of electrode layers 18 is "2". The electrode layer 18 constitutes the electrode portions 4Bb and 4Bd. The height of the electrode layer 18 in the first direction is also lower than that of the electrode layer 12. As a result, the end portions of the electrode portions 4Bb and 4Bd constituted by the electrode layer 12 and the electrode layer 18 on the main surface 2c side become stepped.
[0093] like Figure 8 , Fig. 10A and Fig. 10B As shown, the terminal electrode 5B is exposed on the end surface 2b, the main surface 2d, and the side surfaces 2e and 2f. The terminal electrode 5B has a plurality of electrode portions 5Ba, 5Bb, 5Bc, 5Bd, and 5Be. The electrode portions 5Ba, 5Bc, and 5Be have the same structure as the electrode portions 5a, 5c, and 5e of the laminated coil component 1.
[0094] The electrode portions 5Bb and 5Bd are L-shaped when viewed from the third direction D3. The electrode portions 5Bb and 5Bd have a first portion extending along the first direction D1 and a second portion extending along the second direction D2, and the first portion and the second portion are connected at the ridgeline of the element body 2. Fig. 10B As shown, in the electrode portion 5Bb, a portion of the side surface 2f is lower than the side surface 2e in the first direction D1. In the electrode portion 5Bd, a portion of the side surface 2e is lower than the side surface 2f in the first direction D1.
[0095] The electrode portion 5Be (5Ba) has a repeating portion A1 that overlaps with the electrode portion 5Bd (5Bb) and a non-repeating portion A2 that does not overlap with the electrode portion 5Bd (5Bb) when viewed from the third direction D3. That is, the electrode portion 5Be (5Ba) has a portion that overlaps with the adjacent electrode portion in the third direction D3 and a portion that does not overlap. In the electrode portion 5Be (5Ba), the non-repeating portion A2 that does not overlap with the electrode portion 5Bd (5Bb) includes an area corresponding to a corner portion where the first portion and the second portion of the electrode portion 5Bd (5Bb) are formed in an L-shaped shape, for example, in a triangular shape. In the non-repeating portion A2, one side surface in the third direction D3 is exposed, and the other side surface is in contact with the element body 2.
[0096] like Fig. 9 As shown, the terminal electrode 5B is composed of a plurality of electrode layers 11, a plurality of electrode layers 13, a plurality of electrode layers 15, and a plurality of electrode layers 19 stacked. In the present embodiment, the number of electrode layers 11 is "2", the number of electrode layers 13 is "2", the number of electrode layers 15 is "7", and the number of electrode layers 19 is "2". The electrode layer 19 constitutes the electrode portions 5Bb and 5Bd. The height of the electrode layer 19 in the first direction is also lower than that of the electrode layer 13. As a result, the end portions of the electrode portions 5Bb and 5Bd constituted by the electrode layer 13 and the electrode layer 19 on the main surface 2c side become stepped.
[0097] As described above, the laminated coil component 1B according to the present embodiment has the same operational effects as those of the laminated coil component 1 .
[0098] Hereinabove, although the embodiment of the present invention is described, the present invention is not necessarily limited to the above-described embodiment, and various modifications can be made within a scope not departing from the gist of the present invention.
[0099] In the above embodiment, the shapes of the electrode portions 4a, 4e (4Aa, 4Ae, 4Ba, 4Be) of the terminal electrodes 4 are as follows: Figure 3 The shape shown in FIG. 4 is described as an example. However, the shape of the electrode portions 4a and 4e of the terminal electrode 4 is not limited to this. Fig.11A As shown in FIG. 1 , the electrode portion 4Ce of the terminal electrode 4C in the laminated coil component 1C may have a bent portion. The bent portion is convexly bent in a direction away from the coil 8. Fig. 11BAs shown, the electrode portion 4De of the electrode portion 4D in the laminated coil component 1D may also have a concave-convex portion. In this structure, the contact area with the element body 2 can be ensured, and the stray capacitance generated between the coil 8 can be reduced. The same is true for the electrode portion 5Ce of the terminal electrode 5C and the electrode portion 5De of the terminal electrode 5D.
[0100] In the above embodiment, the coil 8 includes the first coil conductor 22, the second coil conductor 23, the third coil conductor 24, the fourth coil conductor 25, and the fifth coil conductor 26. However, the number of the plurality of coil conductors constituting the coil 8 is not limited to the above value.
[0101] In the above embodiment, the electrode parts 4b and 4d of the terminal electrode 4 have a first part and a second part, and the electrode parts 4b and 4d are L-shaped when viewed from the third direction D3. The first part of the electrode parts 4b and 4d, when viewed from the third direction D3, can extend along the first direction D1 as a whole. In addition, the second part of the electrode parts 4b and 4d, when viewed from the third direction D3, can extend along the second direction D2 as a whole. Therefore, in the first part and the second part of the electrode parts 4b and 4d, the surface in contact with (opposite to) the element body 2 can be provided with projections and depressions. The same is true for the terminal electrodes 4A and 4B, and the terminal electrodes 5, 5A and 5B.
[0102] In the above embodiment, the corner of the first part and the second part of the electrode parts 4b and 4d formed with the terminal electrode 4 is demarcated by the first part and the second part at a substantially right angle as an example. However, the corner may be demarcated by a surface that curves from the first part toward the second part, or may be demarcated by a surface that tilts straightly from the first part toward the second part. The same is true for the terminal electrodes 4A and 4B, and the terminal electrodes 5, 5A and 5B.
