Abstract
Description
Technical Field
[0001] The invention is based on a hinge device for a switch cabinet, the switch cabinet having a switch cabinet body and a switch cabinet door fastened to the switch cabinet body by means of at least two hinges arranged vertically one above the other, at least one first hinge of the hinges having a first body-side hinge half comprising a first hinge pin, the first hinge being arranged above or below a second hinge of the hinges, the first hinge pin protruding vertically upward from a first pin seat, and the first door-side hinge half being mounted on the first hinge pin. Such a hinge device is known from DE 10 2016 117 378 B3. A similar hinge device is also shown in DE 10 2017 108 586 B3. Background Art
[0002] A disadvantage of the hinge arrangements known from the prior art is that the switch cabinet door is sometimes of considerable weight and cumbersome to handle, which can cause difficulties when manually attaching the switch cabinet door to the switch cabinet body. In addition, the switch cabinet is usually hinged to the cabinet body with more than two hinges. Usually, there are at least three hinges arranged vertically above one another. Accordingly, in order to attach the switch cabinet door to the switch cabinet body, three door-side hinge halves arranged vertically above one another, each of which has a hinge pin receiving portion, need to be aligned simultaneously with the three body-side hinge halves, in particular via their respective hinge pins, so that the switch cabinet door can be lowered onto the hinge pins arranged above one another via the hinge pin receiving portions. Summary of the invention
[0003] It is therefore an object of the invention to further develop a hinge arrangement of the type described at the outset such that a switch cabinet door can be easily mounted on a switch cabinet body.
[0004] This object is achieved by the hinge device of the invention.
[0005] Accordingly, the first hinge pin is provided with an auxiliary installation position, in which the first hinge pin protrudes from the first pin seat by a first length which is greater than a second length of the second hinge pin of the second body side hinge half of the second hinge protruding from its second pin seat.
[0006] This means, for example, that during the assembly process, before the hinge halves of at least one further hinge can be brought into engagement with one another, if necessary after a supplementary alignment of the switch cabinet door relative to the switch cabinet body, the hinge half of the upper hinge can first be brought into engagement with the hinge pin in the auxiliary mounting position. Since in the auxiliary mounting position this hinge pin protrudes further from its pin seat than the hinge pin of the other body-side hinge half protrudes from its corresponding pin seat, the body-side hinge half of the hinge pin in the auxiliary mounting position comes into engagement with its associated door-side hinge half, without the other body-side hinge half having to come into engagement with its associated door-side hinge half.
[0007] In order to realize the hinge of the hinge device, and in particular the body-side hinge halves can be formed as the same component, it can be provided that the first hinge pin is adjustably accommodated in the first pin seat between the auxiliary installation position and the end position in the vertical direction, wherein in the end position, the first hinge pin protrudes from the first pin seat by a third length that is smaller than the first length. Here, it can be provided that the third length is just substantially the same as the first length. In this embodiment, it can also be provided that during the process of assembling the switch cabinet door to the switch cabinet body, for example, in the end position of the hinge pin, only the lowest door-side hinge half with a hinge pin adjustable in the vertical direction is used, because if the other body-side hinge halves each have an auxiliary installation position, the body-side hinge half does not need the auxiliary installation position to assemble the switch cabinet door to the switch cabinet body. However, the body-side hinge half without the auxiliary installation position does not necessarily have to be the lowest body-side hinge half. Any other body-side hinge half can also have this function.
[0008] At least the first hinge pin can have a stop, via which in the end position the first hinge pin abuts the first pin seat, and in the auxiliary mounting position the stop is arranged at a distance above the first pin seat. The stop can be a flange protruding on the outer circumference of the hinge pin, preferably a circumferentially protruding flange.
[0009] In the end position, the stop can be accommodated in a groove on the upper side of the first pin seat. In the end position, the stop can be aligned with the upper contact surface of the first bolt seat so that the stop and the upper contact surface form a support for the first door-side hinge half.
[0010] The first hinge pin may have another auxiliary installation position in which the first hinge pin protrudes from the first pin seat by a fourth length that is greater than the first length.
[0011] In at least one auxiliary mounting position and, if present, at least one additional auxiliary mounting position, the first hinge pin can adopt a stop position.
[0012] In the stop position, a spring element applied to at least one side of the first pin seat can engage in a latching recess on the outer circumference of the first hinge pin. In this case, in a further auxiliary mounting position, the first hinge pin can rest on the spring element via a rising ramp. The rising ramp can be formed at the end of the pin, along which the pin extends into the pin channel of the pin seat.
[0013] The spring element may be arranged in a spring receiving portion which opens into a first bolt seat passage of the first bolt seat and is accessible from outside the first bolt seat. The spring receiving portion may include opposing and spaced apart bearing surfaces for a clamping end of the spring element. In at least one stop position, the clamping end may abut a first of the two bearing surfaces opening into the bolt seat passage.
[0014] In a position different from one of the stop positions, the first hinge pin may have a clamping end which is biased by the first hinge pin against a second of the two bearing surfaces, the second bearing surface being arranged at a distance from the pin seat channel.
[0015] The first hinge pin may have a circumferential recess on the outer circumference of its upper end, through which the first hinge pin protrudes from the first pin seat in the end position. The recess can be used to facilitate the displacement of the hinge pin from the end position into at least one auxiliary mounting position, for which the hinge pin must be at least partially pulled out of its pin seat.
[0016] According to another aspect, a method for mounting a switch cabinet door to a switch cabinet body using a hinge device of the aforementioned type is described. The method comprises the following steps:
[0017] - positioning the hinge pin of the first body-side hinge half arranged above or below the second body-side hinge half in an auxiliary installation position, in which the length of the hinge pin of the first body-side hinge half protruding from its pin seat is greater than the length of the hinge pin of the second body-side hinge half protruding from its pin seat;
[0018] - attaching the switch cabinet door to the switch cabinet body, wherein the first door-side hinge half arranged above the second door-side hinge half is only partially pushed onto the hinge pin of the first body-side hinge half, wherein the second door-side hinge half is completely arranged above the second body-side hinge half;
[0019] - aligning the shell door relative to the shell body so that the hinge pin receiver of the second door-side hinge half is aligned with the hinge pin of the second body-side hinge half; and
[0020] - Lowering the switch cabinet door, thereby pushing the second door-side hinge half onto the hinge pin of the second body-side hinge half.
[0021] When attaching the switch cabinet door to the switch cabinet body, the first door-side hinge half can be pushed onto the hinge pin until it reaches a stop on the outer periphery of the hinge pin. To this end, when positioning the hinge pin, the hinge pin can be arranged in its auxiliary mounting position, wherein the stop is spaced apart from the upper side of the pin seat of the door-side hinge half.
[0022] When the switch cabinet door is lowered, the first hinge pin can be transferred from the auxiliary mounting position to the end position. To this end, the first hinge half on the door side can come into contact with a stop or a flange provided on the outer circumference of the first hinge pin, so that when the switch cabinet door is lowered further, the hinge pin is pushed into its hinge pin seat due to the weight of the switch cabinet door until the stop reaches the upper side of the pin seat, with which the stop comes into contact.
[0023] Positioning includes positioning the first hinge pin in a first assembly auxiliary position and positioning the second hinge pin arranged below the first hinge pin and above the lowest hinge pin in a second assembly auxiliary position, wherein the length of the second hinge pin protruding from its pin seat is less than the length of the first hinge pin protruding from its pin seat and greater than the length of the lowest hinge pin protruding from its lowest pin seat. [0032] FIG. 1 shows a switch cabinet 1 according to an embodiment of the prior art. The switch cabinet 1 has a switch cabinet body 2, which mainly includes a frame 25 and flat parts fixed thereto, such as a top element, a side wall 23 and a door element. The door element is fixed to the vertical profile of the frame 25 by means of three hinges 3, which have the same design and are arranged vertically above and below each other. The hinge 3 has a door-side hinge half, which has two opposite pin seats, and a hinge pin 7 protrudes from each pin seat, and the hinge pins are opposite to each other. Accordingly, the hinge 3 is designed as a so-called detachable hinge. The door-side hinge half 8 is a bent metal plate welded to the inner side of the door element. The hinge pin 7 is received in its respective pin seat in a non-adjustable manner, for example, crimped or welded therein. In order to prevent the switch cabinet door 4 from being accidentally detached, the cabinet-side hinge half has a detachment protector 22. Further details of the prior art switch cabinet 1 shown in FIG. 1 are described in DE 10 2016 117 378 B3.
[0033] A standard switch cabinet 1 usually has a height of about 2 meters, whereby the switch cabinet door 4 also extends over the entire height of the switch cabinet 1 in order to achieve the largest possible opening dimensions, so that the switch cabinet door 4 must be aligned parallel to the switch cabinet frame 25, in particular the vertical profile of the switch cabinet frame 25, over its entire vertical length in order to suspend the switch cabinet door 4, which can be fixed via three hinges 3 arranged equidistantly from one another. In the embodiment according to FIG. 1 , the three hinge halves on the cabinet side are therefore fixed equidistantly to the switch cabinet frame, while the switch cabinet door 4 has three welded hinge halves 8 equidistantly spaced at equal distances from one another on its inner side, as shown in FIG. 1 , in order to suspend the switch cabinet door 4 in the body 2, the hinge halves 8 must be aligned simultaneously with the corresponding hinge pins 7 in order to place them on the hinge pins 7. This involves a lot of assembly work, since the switch cabinet door 4 designed as a sheet metal component has a considerable weight due to the internal door tube frame 10 and possible further accessories.
[0034] In order to solve this problem, the present invention proposes a hinge device, which is different from the hinge devices known in the prior art in that the hinge pin 7 of at least one hinge 3 has an auxiliary installation position, in which the length of the hinge pin protruding from its first pin seat is greater than the length of the second hinge pin of the second body-side hinge half of the second hinge protruding from its pin seat. Figure 2 1 and can be adapted, for example, to replace the hinge halves shown in the prior art embodiment according to FIG. 1 . The door-side hinge halves can be used identically. In particular, the body-side hinge halves described below are compatible with the door-side hinge halves shown in FIG. 1 . Thus, for ease of description, Figure 2 In the following description only the body-side hinge half 5 is shown and an exemplary embodiment is described.
[0035] Similar to the body-side hinge half 5 known from the prior art, such as Figure 2 The hinge half 5 according to the invention shown has a mounting flange 26, by means of which the body-side hinge half 5 can be fixed to the vertical profile of the frame of the switch cabinet. Via a curved web, a bolt seat 6 is connected to the mounting flange 26 at a certain distance. In the bolt seat 6, the hinge bolt is accommodated adjustably in its vertical direction. At its upper end, the bolt has a recess 21, which is intended to facilitate manual adjustment of the bolt in the vertical direction. The bolt seat 6 has a spring receiving part 18 on its periphery, which is an opening through the bolt seat 6, through which the periphery of the bolt is accessible from the outside of the bolt seat 6. The spring element 14, which cannot be identified, is accommodated in the spring receiving part 18 and engages in a likewise unidentifiable stop recess on the periphery of the hinge pin 7, so that the hinge pin 7 adopts a defined stop position in at least one of its auxiliary mounting positions. This will be explained in more detail with reference to the following figures.
[0036] Figures 3 to 5 An embodiment of a body-side hinge half 5 having three different arrangement positions of the hinge pin 7 is shown. These three arrangement positions can correspond, for example, to the arrangement positions of the hinge pin 7 of a switch cabinet body before assembling a switch cabinet door, which has three body-side hinge halves 5 of the same type arranged one above the other. For example, the upper body-side hinge half 5 can have a position such as Figure 3 The hinge pin 7 is shown in the figure. The middle body side hinge half can have a Figure 4 The lower body side hinge half can have a hinge pin 7 as shown in FIG. Figure 5 The arrangement position of the hinge pin 7 is shown.
[0037] Figure 3 The body-side hinge half 5 is shown in the maximum extension stop position corresponding to the auxiliary mounting position M1. For example, in this position, the stop portion 11 is also at a distance D from the upper side of the bolt seat 6, which is greater than Figure 4 The distance D in another auxiliary installation position M2 of the bolt is shown. For example, if Figures 3 to 5 The body-side hinge halves 5 shown are arranged vertically one above the other on the vertical profile of the switch cabinet frame profile in the above order at their corresponding arrangement positions. Then, when the switch cabinet door is arranged in place, the uppermost door-side hinge half can be placed first on the upper free end of the hinge pin 7 (such as Figure 3 ), while the door-side hinge halves located below them have not yet engaged with the hinge pins 7 assigned to them in each case. By lowering the switchgear door relative to the switchgear body, the middle door-side hinge halves will first engage with the hinge pins 7 of the middle body-side hinge halves 5 (as shown in FIG. Figure 4As shown), until the further lowering of the switch cabinet door causes the lowermost door-side hinge half to also engage with the hinge pin 7 and the lower body-side hinge half, as shown Figure 5 shown.
[0038] The lowering of the door also causes the uppermost door-side hinge half to rest on the stop 11 of the uppermost body-side hinge half, thereby gradually inserting the hinge pin 7 further into its pin seat, in particular the pin seat passage. Then, further lowering of the door causes the middle door-side hinge half to also rest on the stop 11 of the middle body-side hinge half (as shown in FIG. Figure 4 ), and similarly move the bolt further downward. Figure 5 As shown, the lowermost carcass-side hinge half 5 already has the hinge pin 7 in its end position E, wherein the stop 11 of the hinge pin 7 is inserted into the groove 12 on the upper side of the pin seat, which stop is designed as a circular collar. In this setting position, the upper side of the collar is aligned with the upper side of the bolt seat 6, so that a flat bearing surface is created for the door-side hinge half. In addition, the spring element 14 engages the upper part of the two stop recesses 15, so that the hinge pin 7 is locked in the end position E.
[0039] Furthermore, according to Figure 3 and Figure 4 In the auxiliary mounting positions M1, M2 of the hinge pin, the hinge pin 7 has in each case a position predefined by the spring element 14, whereby according to Figure 3 The spring element 14 in the auxiliary mounting position M1 forms a bearing surface for the hinge pin 7 , on which the hinge pin 7 rests via an end-side ascending bevel 16 .
[0040] In accordance with Figure 4 In a further auxiliary mounting position M2 of the hinge pin 7 , the spring element 14 engages in a stop recess 15 on the outer circumference of the hinge pin 7 , namely in the lower of the two stop recesses 15 arranged one above the other.
[0041] exist Figure 6 , it is shown that the spring element 14 is arranged in a receiving portion 18, which opens into the first bolt seat channel of the bolt seat 6 (see also Figure 3 ) and is accessible from the outside of the bolt seat 6. The spring receiving portion 18 has opposing and spaced apart bearing surfaces 19 for a clamping end 20 of the spring element 14. Here, it is provided that in the stop position the clamping end 20 rests against the bearing surface 19 leading into the bolt seat passage 17. In a position different from the stop position, the clamping end is pressed by the first hinge pin under preload against the opposing bearing surface 19 arranged at a distance from the pin seat passage.
[0042] Figure 7An exemplary embodiment of a hinge pin 7 is shown. Viewed from top to bottom, the hinge pin has at its upper end a recess 21 which serves as a pull-out aid. Below it, the hinge pin 7 has at a certain distance a circumferential flange which forms a stop 11, via which, in cooperation with the upper side of the hinge half on the body side, a defined end position of the hinge pin 7 relative to the pin seat is determined. Below it, the hinge pin 7 has two stop recesses 15, into which spring elements of the pin seat can engage in order to lock the hinge pin 7 in the end position or in another auxiliary mounting position M2 (see Figure 4 and Figure 5 At the lower end, the hinge pin 7 has a rising bevel 16, via which the hinge pin 7 rests on a spring element in the auxiliary mounting position M1 (see Figure 3 ).
[0043] The features of the invention disclosed in the preceding description, the drawings and the claims may be essential to the implementation of the invention both individually and in any combination.
