AI Technical Summary
The existing ink cartridge chip has a large distance between its ground terminal and other connection terminals, which can easily cause ink to drip, resulting in an increase in equivalent resistance, damage to the memory and communication errors. At the same time, the large substrate area increases production costs, and damage to the stylus holder affects the normal operation of inkjet printing equipment.
The grounding terminal of the ink cartridge chip is placed on the non-front surface of the substrate and electrically connected to the main control circuit board of the inkjet printer through a conductive connector. This avoids contact between the grounding terminal and the contact pin. An independent conductive connector is used to connect to the main control circuit board to ensure smooth communication.
It effectively avoids short circuits in the grounding terminal caused by ink dripping, protecting the integrity of memory and communication, while reducing the substrate area and production cost, and ensuring that the ink cartridge can still work normally when the stylus holder is damaged.

Abstract
Description
Technical Field
[0001] This invention relates to the technical field of inkjet printing, specifically to an ink cartridge chip, an ink cartridge having such an ink cartridge chip, and an inkjet printing device equipped with such an ink cartridge. Background Technology
[0002] Printing equipment, as a common office tool, provides great convenience for modern offices. Common printing equipment is divided into inkjet printers and laser printers. Inkjet printers use ink cartridges containing ink as consumable containers to spray ink onto paper to form the text or pattern to be printed on the paper; laser printers use toner cartridges containing toner as consumable containers to form the text or pattern to be printed on the medium.
[0003] See Figure 1 A color inkjet printing device has a housing 11. Figure 1 The inkjet printer shown omits the tray of the housing 11. The housing 11 houses the inkjet printer's mechanism 12 and includes a slide bar. The printing carriage 14 is mounted on a motor (…). Figure 1 Driven by the invisible component, it reciprocates along the slide bar. The printing carriage 14 contains the main control circuit board (…). Figure 1 (Not visible in the middle), the main control circuit board communicates with the mechanism 12 through the ribbon cable 13.
[0004] Multiple ink cartridges 15 are detachably mounted on the printing carriage 14, each containing ink of a different color. The structure of the ink cartridge 15 is as follows: Figure 2 As shown. The ink cartridge 15 has a housing 16, which forms a cavity for containing ink. The lower end of the cavity is provided with an ink outlet 17. The ink in the cavity flows out through the ink outlet 17 and supplies ink to the ink supply needle of the printing carriage 14.
[0005] A chip 18 is mounted on the outer wall of the cartridge body 16 of the ink cartridge 15. The chip 18 has a substrate, and one side of the substrate has multiple connection terminals 19 for electrical connection with the contact pins on the print carriage 14. The other side of the substrate has a memory (…). Figure 2 (Not visible in the image) Typically, this memory is a non-volatile memory, such as EEPROM or FLASH, which stores information related to the ink cartridge, including variable information and invariant information. Variable information is information that changes continuously with the printing operation, such as ink level, printing time, and number of sheets printed. Invariant information is information that does not change with the printing operation, such as ink cartridge model, applicable inkjet printer model, and ink color.
[0006] After the ink cartridge 15 is installed to the print carriage 14 of the inkjet printing device, the inkjet printing device powers on the chip 18 and reads the data stored in the memory of the chip 18 to determine whether the ink cartridge 15 is of a proper model and whether the ink cartridge 15 has sufficient ink, etc. Only when the ink cartridge 15 is determined to be of a proper model and to have sufficient ink, the inkjet printing device can perform printing.
[0007] Referring to Figure 3 , a substrate 20 of the chip 18 of the ink cartridge is provided with five connection terminals 21, 22, 23, 24 and 25 on one surface thereof, the five connection terminals including a power terminal, a ground terminal, a clock terminal, a data terminal and a chip select terminal, respectively. Generally, the ground terminal 25 is spaced apart from the other connection terminals by a relatively large distance.
[0008] Referring to Figure 4 and Figure 5 , the print carriage 14 has a plurality of carriage units, for example, one of which is 51, and the ink cartridge 15 of each color corresponds to one carriage unit. The plurality of carriage units are identical in structure, and the carriage unit 51 will be taken as an example for description. The print carriage 14 is further provided with a plurality of stylus racks 36, and the carriage unit 51 is provided with a plurality of styluses, for example, five styluses, on the stylus rack 36. The plurality of styluses are arranged in two rows, i.e., an upper first row and a lower second row. The two styluses at the two ends of the upper first row are styluses 41 and 44, respectively, and the two styluses at the two ends of the lower second row are styluses 45 and 49, respectively. The plurality of styluses of the carriage unit 51 correspond to the plurality of connection terminals of the chip 18 one by one, and each stylus is in contact with and electrically connected to the corresponding connection terminal.
[0009] The print carriage 14 is provided with a main control circuit board 33 at the rear thereof, and the main control circuit board 33 is provided with a plurality of contacts 34. The stylus rack 36 is also provided with a plurality of styluses 38 at the side close to the main control circuit board 33. The styluses on the two sides of the stylus rack 36 correspond to each other one by one, and the two corresponding styluses are electrically connected to each other. The styluses 38 close to the main control circuit board 33 are in abutment with and electrically connected to the contacts 34 on the main control circuit board 33. The main control circuit board 33 is further provided with a control chip and a detection circuit (not shown in the figure) for communicating with the chips 18 on the ink cartridges of different colors.
[0010] However, since all the connection terminals on the cartridge chip are arranged on the same surface and electrically contact the plurality of pins of the pin holder 36 of the print carriage 14 near the cartridge, including a ground terminal, the distance between the ground terminal and the other four connection terminals is large, and the ground terminal is arranged near the ink outlet 17 of the substrate 20, when the cartridge is installed or removed, if ink or other foreign matter falls on the ground terminal, a large equivalent resistance will be generated between the ground pin of the inkjet printing device and the ground terminal of the substrate 20, thereby causing the voltage of the other connection terminals on the substrate 20 to be lowered.
[0011] For example, before ink drops on the ground terminal, the low level of the clock terminal CLK is 0V and the high level is 3.3V, once ink drops on the ground terminal, the equivalent resistance formed by the ink is large, and the voltage division of the other connection terminals can be as high as 0.5V, at this time, the low level of the clock terminal CLK becomes -0.5V and the high level becomes 2.8V, since the memory directly receives the signal output by the clock terminal CLK, the reduced voltage signal input to the memory will cause damage to the memory. Similarly, if the high level and low level signals of the data terminal DAT are inconsistent with the standard level signals, it will also cause errors in the communication data, affecting the communication between the inkjet printing device and the memory.
[0012] On the other hand, due to the large distance between the ground terminal and the other connection terminals, the area of the substrate 20 is large, increasing the production cost of the substrate 20.
[0013] In addition, the pins on the pin holder can extend into the cartridge housing, which can be caused by several reasons, such as the size of the cartridge chip does not match the cartridge housing, the distance between the lower edge of the cartridge chip and the cartridge housing is too large, or the cartridge housing shrinks too much after injection molding, causing a gap between the lower positioning column of the cartridge chip and the cartridge housing, or the cartridge chip is poorly welded and falls off during installation. Since the lower edge of the pin is perpendicular to the direction of pulling out the cartridge, it is difficult for the user to pull out the cartridge when the above conditions occur, and it is difficult to remove the cartridge alone when replacing the cartridge or maintaining the inkjet printing device. Instead, the cartridge holder fixing plate and all color pin holders, cartridges, and chip main control boards need to be removed first, then the pin holder buckle is loosened, and finally the cartridge and pin holder are removed together. If the cartridge is forcibly pulled out of the print carriage, the pins and pin holders will be easily pulled out of the print carriage, damaging the inkjet printing device. Once the pin holder or pin is damaged, the inkjet printing device will not work, affecting the inkjet printing work. SUMMARY
[0014] To solve the above problems, the first object of the present application is to provide an ink cartridge chip capable of avoiding ink drop on a grounding terminal.
[0015] The second object of the present application is to provide an ink cartridge capable of effectively protecting a memory and having low production cost.
[0016] The third object of the present application is to provide an ink cartridge capable of communicating with an inkjet printing device even if a stylus of a stylus holder is damaged.
[0017] The fourth object of the present application is to provide an inkjet printing device using the above ink cartridge.
[0018] To achieve the first object of the present application, the ink cartridge chip is detachably mounted on the ink cartridge, the ink cartridge is detachably mounted on the inkjet printing device, the lower end of the ink cartridge is provided with an ink outlet, the ink cartridge chip comprises a substrate, a first surface of the substrate is provided with a plurality of communication terminals, the plurality of communication terminals are electrically contacted with a plurality of styluses facing the substrate side in the inkjet printing device; wherein, a grounding terminal is further provided on the substrate, when the ink cartridge chip is mounted on the ink cartridge, the communication terminals and the grounding terminal are located on the same side of the center line of the ink outlet; the arrangement of the grounding terminal on the substrate makes the grounding terminal not electrically contacted with any stylus facing the substrate side in the inkjet printing device when the ink cartridge is mounted on or taken out of the inkjet printing device.
[0019] As can be seen from the above solution, the grounding terminal is not electrically contacted with any stylus facing the substrate side in the inkjet printing device, even if ink drops on the substrate, it will not cause short circuit between the grounding terminal and the stylus facing the substrate side in the inkjet printing device. Since the ink is most likely to drop between the substrate and the stylus facing the substrate side in the inkjet printing device when the ink cartridge is mounted and taken out, the solution of the present application can avoid the formation of a larger equivalent resistance on the grounding terminal due to ink drop.
[0020] Preferably, the grounding terminal is provided on a second surface of the substrate, the first surface and the second surface are located on opposite sides of the substrate respectively; or the grounding terminal is provided on a third surface of the substrate, the third surface is adjacent to the first surface; or the grounding terminal is provided on the first surface.
[0021] Therefore, the ground terminal is arranged on the second surface of the substrate, when the ink cartridge chip is installed to the ink cartridge, the second surface is the opposite surface of the first surface of the front wall of the ink cartridge, so that the ground terminal does not expose on the front surface of the ink cartridge chip, and the ink drop can be effectively avoided to fall on the ground terminal. If the ground terminal is arranged on the first surface or the second surface, the conductive connecting piece with elasticity is connected with the ground terminal in advance, even if the ink drop falls between the ground terminal and the elastic sheet, since the conductive connecting piece is connected with the ground terminal in advance, the conductive connecting piece and the ground terminal will not form a large resistance due to the existence of the ink drop, and the voltage division will not occur.
[0022] To achieve the second purpose, the ink cartridge is detachably installed to the inkjet printing device, the ink cartridge includes a cartridge body, a cavity is formed in the cartridge body, the cavity contains ink, and an ink outlet is arranged below the cavity; the cartridge body is provided with an ink cartridge chip, the ink cartridge chip includes a substrate, a plurality of communication terminals are arranged on a first surface of the substrate, and the plurality of communication terminals are electrically connected with a plurality of styluses in the inkjet printing device; wherein a ground terminal is further arranged on the substrate, the arrangement of the ground terminal on the substrate is such that when the ink cartridge is installed to or taken out from the inkjet printing device, the ground terminal does not come into electrical contact with any stylus facing the substrate side of the inkjet printing device; the ink cartridge further includes a conductive connecting piece, a first end of the conductive connecting piece is electrically connected with the ground terminal, and a second end of the conductive connecting piece is electrically connected with a main control circuit board of the inkjet printing device.
[0023] Preferably, the communication terminals and the ground terminal are located on the same side of the center line of the ink outlet; the ground terminal is arranged on a second surface of the substrate, the first surface and the second surface are located on opposite sides of the substrate respectively; or the ground terminal is arranged on a third surface of the substrate, the third surface is adjacent to the first surface; or the ground terminal is arranged on the first surface.
[0024] As can be seen from the above scheme, the ground terminal of the ink cartridge chip is electrically connected with the main control circuit board of the inkjet printing device through the conductive connecting piece, which can realize the function of electrical connection with the ground terminal of the inkjet printing device, and ensure that the ground level of the ink cartridge chip is consistent with the ground level of the inkjet printing device.
[0025] Further, a first end of the conductive connecting piece is provided with an elastic portion, and the elastic portion abuts against the ground terminal.
[0026] It can be seen that the connection between the conductive connecting piece and the ground terminal is more reliable through the abutment of the elastic portion to the ground terminal.
[0027] Further, the inkjet printing device further includes a ground stylus, and the first surface of the substrate is electrically insulated from the ground stylus.
[0028] In one preferred embodiment, the ink cartridge chip is mounted on the front wall of the cartridge body, the first surface of the substrate is parallel to the front wall, and the first end of the conductive connecting member is located between the front wall and the second surface of the ink cartridge chip.
[0029] Therefore, the grounding terminal provided on the second surface of the substrate is located on the opposite side of the first surface and does not protrude from the front surface of the ink cartridge, and the first end of the conductive connecting member also does not protrude from the front surface of the ink cartridge, which can effectively prevent ink from falling on the grounding terminal and prevent the first end of the conductive connecting member from contacting the ink.
[0030] In an optional embodiment, the ink cartridge chip is mounted on the front wall of the cartridge body, the first surface of the substrate is parallel to the front wall, and the first end of the conductive connecting member abuts against the grounding terminal on the first surface or the third surface.
[0031] In a further embodiment, the conductive connecting member comprises a first abutting section, a connecting section and a second abutting section arranged in sequence, the first end is located at the free end of the first abutting section, and the second end is located at the free end of the second abutting section; the front wall further comprises a clamping portion, and the connecting section is clamped in the clamping portion.
[0032] It can be seen that the connecting section is fixed on the front wall of the ink cartridge through the clamping portion, so that the conductive connecting member can be reliably fixed on the front wall of the ink cartridge, and the conductive connecting member is not easy to fall off the ink cartridge, which is beneficial to the installation and use of the ink cartridge.
[0033] In a further embodiment, the clamping portion comprises at least two clamping members, each clamping member comprises a cantilever and a buckle located at the free end of the cantilever, and the buckle on at least one clamping member faces a direction different from the buckle on the other clamping member.
[0034] Therefore, the multiple different clamping members clamp the conductive connecting member in different directions, and the clamping connection of the clamping portion to the conductive connecting member is more reliable.
[0035] In a further embodiment, the front wall is provided with a recessed groove, and at least a portion of the first abutting section is located in the recessed groove.
[0036] In this way, the first abutting section is not completely exposed to the outer surface of the front wall, and the recessed groove has a protective effect on the first abutting section, preventing damage to the first abutting section, and the distance between the bottom of the recessed groove and the second surface of the substrate allows the first abutting section to elastically deform and generate elastic force, thereby achieving more stable electrical contact.
[0037] In a further embodiment, the front wall is provided with a protruding portion, and the clamping portion is arranged on the protruding portion. In this way, the arrangement of the clamping portion allows the conductive connecting member to be more reliably arranged on the front wall of the ink cartridge, and the clamping members are also not easy to fall off the ink cartridge.
[0038] Further, at least a portion of the first abutting section is attached to the surface of the protrusion.
[0039] Therefore, the protrusion protects the first abutting section from being damaged by contacting other components of the inkjet printing device during installation of the ink cartridge.
[0040] Further, the chip mounting surface is provided on the front wall, and the area of the ink cartridge chip is less than the area of the chip mounting surface.
[0041] Therefore, the area of the ink cartridge chip can be small, and the first surface of the substrate only needs to include four communication terminals, which are all located on the left side of the ink outlet, thereby reducing the production cost of the ink cartridge chip.
[0042] To achieve the third object, the ink cartridge is detachably installed in the inkjet printing device, and the ink cartridge includes a cartridge body, a cavity is formed in the cartridge body, the cavity contains ink, and an ink outlet is provided below the cavity; the cartridge body is provided with an ink cartridge chip, the ink cartridge chip includes a substrate, and at least one connection terminal is provided on the substrate; and the ink cartridge further includes a conductive connecting piece, a first end of the conductive connecting piece is electrically connected to the connection terminal, and a second end of the conductive connecting piece is electrically connected to a main control circuit board of the inkjet printing device, and the conductive connecting piece is independent of a stylus provided on a stylus holder of the inkjet printing device.
[0043] As can be seen from the above scheme, the conductive connecting piece independent of the stylus of the stylus holder is provided on the ink cartridge, and the conductive connecting piece can realize electrical connection between the chip main control circuit board and the connection terminal on the ink cartridge chip, that is, the connection terminal of the ink cartridge chip can be directly electrically connected to the functional contact on the chip main control circuit board through the conductive connecting piece, so that the ink cartridge chip can still communicate with the inkjet printing device even if the stylus on the stylus holder is damaged, thereby maintaining the work of the ink cartridge chip.
[0044] Further, the ink cartridge chip is attached to the outer wall of the ink cartridge, and the conductive connecting piece spans both sides of the stylus holder.
[0045] Therefore, the installation of the conductive connecting piece does not affect the stylus holder and does not interfere with the stylus holder.
[0046] Further, a fixing block is provided outside the outer wall of the ink cartridge, and a portion of the conductive connecting piece is pressed between the fixing block and the outer wall of the ink cartridge by the fixing block.
[0047] Therefore, the fixing block can fix the conductive connecting piece on the outer wall of the ink cartridge, so that the conductive connecting piece is not easily detached from the ink cartridge.
[0048] Further, the fixing block is provided with a buckle, and the fixing block is fixed to the outer wall of the ink cartridge through the buckle. In this way, the fixing block can be conveniently fixed to the outer wall of the ink cartridge.
[0049] Further, the outer wall of the ink cartridge is provided with a mounting groove near the side of the fixing block, and a part of the conductive connecting piece is located in the mounting groove.
[0050] Through the mounting groove, the conductive connecting piece can be better fixed to the outer wall of the ink cartridge, and displacement of the conductive connecting piece can be avoided.
[0051] Further, in the direction perpendicular to the bottom wall of the ink cartridge, the lower edge of the ink cartridge chip is located above the upper row of the stylus holder.
[0052] Optionally, the ink cartridge chip is arranged near the top of the ink cartridge, and the first end of the conductive connecting piece is located at the lower end of the ink cartridge chip.
[0053] In this way, the arrangement of the ink cartridge chip can be more flexible, and can be flexibly adjusted according to the change of the structure of the inkjet printing equipment.
[0054] Further, the lower end of the ink cartridge chip is suspended below the handle of the ink cartridge; optionally, the main surface of the ink cartridge chip is parallel to the bottom wall of the ink cartridge.
[0055] To achieve the fourth purpose, the inkjet printing equipment provided by the application comprises a machine body, a main control circuit board and a printing carriage are arranged in the machine body, a stylus holder is arranged on the printing carriage, styluses are arranged on both sides of the stylus holder of the printing carriage, and one or more ink cartridges described above are installed in the inkjet printing equipment.
[0056] A preferred scheme is that the second end of the conductive connecting piece is inserted between the stylus holder and the main control circuit board.
[0057] In this way, the conductive connecting piece can be electrically connected with the styluses on the stylus holder and the contacts on the main control circuit board, so as to realize electrical connection between the grounding terminal of the ink cartridge chip and the grounding end of the inkjet printing equipment.
[0058] The inkjet printing equipment provided by the application can also be: comprising a machine body, a main control circuit board and a printing carriage are arranged in the machine body, a stylus holder is arranged on the printing carriage, styluses are arranged on both sides of the stylus holder of the printing carriage, and one or more ink cartridges described above are installed in the inkjet printing equipment, the stylus holder is provided with a stylus support part, and the conductive connecting piece spans from the first side to the second side of the stylus support part.
[0059] As can be seen, the conductive connector can span the stylus support, allowing it to be smoothly installed onto the printing carriage, making the ink cartridge installation simple and convenient. Attached Figure Description

[0103] The present application is further described below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings and embodiments. DETAILED DESCRIPTION
[0104] First Embodiment:
[0105] The inkjet printing apparatus of the present embodiment is provided with a body, in which a printing carriage is formed, as shown in Figure 6 and Figure 7The ink cartridge 100 is detachably installed inside the printing carriage. Each ink cartridge 100 has a housing 110, which forms a cavity for containing ink. An ink outlet 118 communicating with the cavity is located at the bottom of the cavity, through which ink flows out. A handle 112 is provided at the upper end of the housing 110. Preferably, the handle 112 is an elastic handle that can be pressed and undergoes elastic deformation. Furthermore, an ink cartridge chip 130 is detachably installed on a front wall at the lower end of the housing 110.
[0106] The printing carriage is equipped with a stylus holder 160, with a main control circuit board 150 and an ink cartridge 100 respectively positioned on both sides of the stylus holder 160. Stylus pins are positioned on both sides of the stylus holder 160. Therefore, the ink cartridge chip 130 contacts the stylus pin 161 on the first side of the stylus holder 160, and the main control circuit board 150 contacts the stylus pin on the second side of the stylus holder 160. The stylus pins on both sides of the stylus holder 160 are arranged in a one-to-one correspondence, and the corresponding two stylus pins are electrically connected to each other.
[0107] See Figures 8 to 12 The ink cartridge chip 130 has a substrate 131, which is generally rectangular. Four communication terminals 132 are disposed on a first surface of the substrate 131, and a ground terminal 136 is disposed on a second surface of the substrate 131. In this embodiment, the first and second surfaces are located on opposite sides of the substrate 131. Figure 11 and Figure 12 As can be seen, the first surface of the substrate 131 is substantially parallel to the front wall 111 of the ink cartridge 100. After the ink cartridge chip 130 is installed into the cartridge body 110, the first surface is exposed to the front wall 111 of the ink cartridge 100. The second surface of the substrate 110 is closer to the rear wall of the ink cartridge 100. After the ink cartridge chip 130 is installed into the cartridge body 110, the second surface is not exposed to the front wall 111 of the ink cartridge 100. Therefore, the grounding terminal 136 is not exposed to the surface of the ink cartridge 100.
[0108] The four communication terminals 132 on the first surface are respectively a power terminal VCC, a clock terminal CLK, a data terminal DAT, and a chip select terminal CS, and the four communication terminals 132 are arranged in two rows, and the four communication terminals 132 are in direct contact with the contact pins 161 on the first side of the contact pin holder 160, that is, the contact pins 161 abut on the four communication terminals 132. In addition, the substrate 131 is also provided with a memory, and the four communication terminals 132 and the ground terminal 136 are electrically connected to the memory to provide power supply, clock signals and the like for the working of the memory. It should be noted that in the present embodiment, the first surface can also be provided with fewer or more communication terminals, for example, a battery can be provided on the ink cartridge chip 130, or power can be taken from the clock terminal CLK and the chip select terminal CS, so that the power terminal VCC can be removed; or the ink cartridge chip 130 can identify whether the current communication session has ended according to the content of the communication, so that the chip select terminal CS can be removed, and the present embodiment does not limit the number of communication terminals on the first surface. In addition, from the perspective of the second surface of the substrate 131, the four communication terminals 132 and the ground terminal 136 are arranged on the same side of the center line L1 of the ink outlet 118, so that the area of the substrate 131 can be smaller. Figure 10 As can be seen, after the ink cartridge chip 130 is installed on the ink cartridge 100, the four communication terminals 132 and the ground terminal 136 on the substrate 131 are in direct contact with the contact pins 161 on the first side of the contact pin holder 160. Figure 8 As can be seen, all the communication terminals 132 and the ground terminal 136 of the substrate 131 are located on the same side of the center line L1 of the ink outlet 118, so that the area of the substrate 131 can be smaller.
[0109] The substrate 131 is arranged below the handle 112, and a plurality of limiting members 138 are arranged on the front wall 111 of the ink cartridge 100, and a plurality of limiting grooves 133 are correspondingly arranged on the substrate 131. Each limiting member 138 matches with a limiting groove 133. When the ink cartridge chip 130 is installed on the cartridge body 110, the matching of the plurality of limiting members 138 and the plurality of limiting grooves 133 enables the substrate 131 to be fixed at a specified position on the front wall, so that displacement of the substrate 131 on the front wall is avoided, thereby ensuring accurate contact of the four communication terminals 132 with the contact pins 161.
[0110] Since the ground terminal 136 is arranged on the second surface of the substrate 131, the ground terminal 136 will not be in direct contact with the contact pins of the contact pin holder 160. In order to solve the problem that the ground terminal 136 receives the ground level output by the inkjet printing device, the present embodiment provides a conductive connecting member 140 made of metal and having a certain elasticity. Referring to Figure 12 , the conductive connecting member 140 includes a first abutting section 141, a connecting section 142, and a second abutting section 143, wherein the connecting section 142 is located between the first abutting section 141 and the second abutting section 143.
[0111] Referring to Figure 13, the lower end of the first abutting section 141 is a free end, and an elastic section 145 is arranged on the free end. The elastic section 145 is the first end of the conductive connecting piece 140, that is, the first end of the conductive connecting piece 140 is the free end of the first abutting section 141, and the elastic section 145 abuts on the ground terminal 136. From Figure 13 It can be seen that the elastic section 145 is curved, and the elastic section 145 can be elastically deformed, facilitating installation of the conductive connecting piece 140. In addition, the first abutting section 141 further has an extension section 146, which is located above the elastic section 145 and between the connecting section 142 and the elastic section 145. In this embodiment, the extension section 146 extends in the horizontal direction, that is, the extension direction of the extension section 146 is perpendicular to the first surface of the substrate 131.
[0112] When the conductive connecting piece 140 is installed to the ink cartridge 100, the first abutting section 141 is inserted to the side of the substrate 131 close to the front wall of the ink cartridge 100. In order to facilitate installation of the first abutting section 141, a recessed groove 115 is arranged on the front wall 111, which is recessed from the surface of the front wall 111 into the box body 110 to form a recessed groove, and the lower end of the first abutting section 141 is inserted into the recessed groove 115. In this way, the lower end of the first abutting section 141 is not exposed on the outer surface of the ink cartridge 100.
[0113] Referring to Figure 14 With Figure 15 , the main control circuit board 150 of the inkjet printing device is arranged on the second side of the stylus holder 160, and a plurality of contacts 151, such as ground contacts, are arranged on the surface of the main control circuit board 150 close to the stylus holder 160. The second abutting section 143 is electrically connected with the ground contacts. Specifically, the lower end of the second abutting section 143 is a free end, constituting the second end of the conductive connecting piece 140, which is provided with an elastic section 147. The elastic section 147 is curved, and the elastic section 147 can be elastically deformed, and the elastic section 147 abuts on the ground contacts. In this way, the conductive connecting piece 140 realizes electrical connection between the ground terminal 136 on the substrate 131 and the ground contacts of the main control circuit board 150, so that the electrical level of the ground terminal 136 on the substrate 131 is consistent with the electrical level of the ground contacts of the main control circuit board 150, thereby making the ground level of the ink cartridge chip 130 consistent with the ground level of the inkjet printing device. In addition, in this embodiment, the first surface of the substrate 131 is not electrically connected with the ground stylus of the inkjet printing device, that is, the first surface of the substrate 131 is electrically insulated from the ground stylus of the inkjet printing device.
[0114] In the embodiment, the conductive connecting piece 140 spans the first side and the second side of the stylus holder 160. Specifically, the first abutting section 141 is located on the first side of the stylus holder 160, the second abutting section 143 is located on the second side of the stylus holder 160, and the connecting section 142 is located above the stylus support portion 162 of the stylus holder 160. The stylus holder 160 is provided with a connecting portion 163 on one side of the stylus support portion 162, the connecting portion 163 is close to the second side of the stylus holder 160, and the main control circuit board 150 is located below the connecting portion 163. In this way, when the ink cartridge is installed in or removed from the inkjet printing device, the grounding terminal 136 does not electrically contact any stylus on the side of the print carriage facing the substrate 131, and through the connecting action of the conductive connecting piece 140, the grounding terminal 136 only electrically contacts the stylus on the side of the print carriage facing away from the substrate 131, or directly electrically contacts the grounding contact on the main control circuit board 150 of the inkjet printing device.
[0115] The installation gap 164 is formed between the stylus support portion 162 and the connecting portion 163, and the second abutting section 143 can pass through the installation gap 164 and be inserted between the main control circuit board 150 and the stylus support portion 162. Since the styluses on both sides of the stylus holder 160 are installed on the stylus support portion 162, the styluses on the second side of the stylus support portion 162 can be connected to the contacts on the main control circuit board 150. When the second abutting section 143 is inserted between the main control circuit board 150 and the stylus support portion 162, the second abutting section 143 will be clamped between the stylus and the grounding contact. Since the stylus protrudes outward from the stylus on the second side of the stylus support portion 162, it matches the shape of the elastic portion 147, and the stylus forms a support for the elastic portion 147 and makes the elastic portion 147 firmly abut on the grounding contact.
[0116] Before the ink cartridge 100 is installed in the print carriage, the conductive connecting piece 140 needs to be fixed on the ink cartridge 100. In order to realize the fixation of the conductive connecting piece 140, the embodiment is provided with a protruding portion 120 on the front wall 111 of the ink cartridge 100, which is located below the handle 112 but above the substrate 131. The protruding portion 120 protrudes outward from the front wall 111 of the cartridge body 110, and the outer wall of the protruding portion 120 is provided with a buckling portion 121, which includes two buckling pieces 122. Referring to Figure 13 Each buckling piece 122 has a cantilever 123, and a buckle 124 is provided at the free end of the cantilever 123. In the embodiment, the buckles 124 of the two buckling pieces 122 face different directions, one of the buckles 124 of the two buckling pieces 122 is arranged downward, and the other buckle 124 of the buckling piece 122 is arranged upward. The connecting section 142 of the conductive connecting piece 140 is fixed in the buckling portion 121, specifically, the connecting section 142 is buckled by the buckles 124 of the two buckling pieces 122 from two different directions, so that the connecting section 142 is attached to the outer wall of the protruding portion 120.
[0117] In addition, the extension section 146 of the conductive connecting piece 140 is located below the protruding section 120 and is attached to the lower surface of the protruding section 120, and the protruding section 120 has a protective effect on the extension section 146, which can avoid the extension section 146 being scratched by other components of the inkjet printing device during installation of the ink cartridge 100.
[0118] Referring to Figure 11 The chip mounting surface 116 is located below the protruding section 120. Since the four communication terminals 132 and the ground terminal 136 on the second surface of the ink cartridge chip 130 are both located on the left side of the center line L1 of the ink outlet 17, the area of the ink cartridge chip 130 can be made very small, so that the area of the ink cartridge chip 130 is smaller than the area of the chip mounting surface 116, which can reduce the production cost of the ink cartridge chip 130.
[0119] Since the ground terminal 136 is arranged on the second surface of the ink cartridge chip 130, the ground terminal 136 cannot be seen on the outer surface of the ink cartridge 100 after the ink cartridge chip 130 is installed in the cartridge body 110. In this way, even if ink drops onto the substrate 131, it will only drop on the communication terminals 132 and is not likely to drop on the ground terminal 136, so the ground terminal 136 is not likely to be in contact with the ink, ensuring that the ground level received by the memory is not divided, which can effectively avoid the situation that the memory is damaged due to receiving a negative voltage signal, and also avoid the problem that the memory incorrectly identifies the signals sent by the inkjet printing device due to the voltage of the clock signal, data signal, etc. being too low. In addition, since the ground terminal 136 on the second surface of the ink cartridge chip 130 is in direct electrical contact with the ground contact of the main control circuit board 150 through the conductive connecting piece 140, and is not in electrical contact with the ground contact of the contact needle 161 on the first side of the contact needle holder 160, even if ink falls on the ground contact of the contact needle 161 on the first side of the contact needle holder 160, it will not cause damage to the memory. Due to the shielding effect of the contact needle holder 160, it is difficult for ink to fall through the contact needle holder 160 to the ground contact of the main control circuit board 150 behind, so the problem of the memory of the ink cartridge chip 130 being caused by the excessive ground resistance can be greatly reduced.
[0120] In this embodiment, the elastic part 145 of the conductive connecting piece 140 is in contact with the ground terminal 136 on the back of the substrate 131. In order to ensure the stability of the contact between the elastic part 145 of the conductive connecting piece 140 and the ground terminal 136, when the ink cartridge chip 130 is installed to the ink cartridge 100, the elastic force of the conductive connecting piece 140 needs to be overcome to press the elastic part 145 of the conductive connecting piece 140 downward by a distance. However, due to the elastic force generated by the elastic part 145, the ink cartridge chip 130 will be pushed upward, and if the heat welding strength of the limiting piece 138 is not enough, the ink cartridge chip 130 will have the risk of falling off from the ink cartridge 100.
[0121] Second embodiment:
[0122] The inkjet printing device of this embodiment is provided with a body, and a printing carriage is formed in the body. The ink cartridge is detachably installed in the printing carriage. Referring to Figure 16 With Figure 17 Each ink cartridge 200 has a cartridge body 210, which encloses a cavity for containing ink. An ink outlet is arranged at the lower part of the cavity and communicates with the cavity. A handle 212 is arranged at the upper end of the cartridge body 210. Preferably, the handle 212 is an elastic handle, which can be pressed and elastically deformed. In addition, an ink cartridge chip 230 is detachably installed on a front wall at the lower end of the cartridge body 210.
[0123] The ink cartridge chip 230 has a substrate 231. Four communication terminals 232 are arranged on the first surface of the substrate 231. Unlike the first embodiment, referring to Figure 17 With Figure 18 The ground terminal 236 of this embodiment is also arranged on the first surface of the substrate 231. In addition, the four communication terminals 232 and the ground terminal 236 are all located on the same side of the ink outlet center line L2.
[0124] In addition, the ink cartridge 200 is provided with a conductive connecting piece 240, which is made of metal and includes a first abutting segment 241, a connecting segment 242, and a second abutting segment 243. The connecting segment 242 is located between the first abutting segment 241 and the second abutting segment 243. The lower end of the first abutting segment 241 is a free end, and an elastic part 245 is arranged on the free end. The elastic part 245 is the first end of the conductive connecting piece 240, abuts on the ground terminal 236, and is in a curved shape. By arranging the conductive connecting piece 240, when the ink cartridge is installed to or removed from the inkjet printing device, the ground terminal 236 will not be in electrical contact with any stylus on the printing carriage facing the substrate 231.
[0125] A protrusion 220 is arranged on the front wall of the ink cartridge 200, and the protrusion 220 is located below the handle 212. The protrusion 220 is provided with a buckling part 221, and the buckling part 221 includes two buckling members for buckling and fixing the connecting segment 242 so that the connecting segment 242 is attached to the outer wall of the protrusion 220.
[0126] When the conductive connecting member 240 is installed to the ink cartridge 200, the first abutting segment 241 is inserted into the substrate 231 near the side of the front wall of the ink cartridge 200, the second abutting segment 243 is located at the second side of the stylus holder, and the connecting segment 242 is located above the stylus support part of the stylus holder.
[0127] Since the ink outlet of the ink cartridge is completely sealed by a film before the ink cartridge is installed into the inkjet printing device to prevent ink leakage during production and transportation, the ink drop to the ink cartridge chip 230 mainly occurs after the ink cartridge 200 is installed into the inkjet printing device. In the embodiment, the conductive connecting member 240 is fixed to the cartridge body 210 before the ink cartridge 200 is installed into the printing carriage, that is, the conductive connecting member 240 is fixed by the buckling part 221. At this time, the elastic part 245 of the conductive connecting member 240 is in close contact with the grounding terminal 236. In this way, even if ink drops to the elastic part 245 of the conductive connecting member 240 and the grounding terminal 236, since the elastic part 245 of the conductive connecting member 240 is in close contact with the grounding terminal 236, a large resistance will not be formed between the elastic part 245 of the conductive connecting member 240 and the grounding terminal 236 due to the presence of the ink, and the voltage division to other connecting terminals will not be caused.
[0128] Compared with the first embodiment, the elastic part 245 of the conductive connecting member 240 of the embodiment abuts on the first surface of the substrate 231, which can prevent the ink cartridge chip 230 from falling off.
[0129] Third embodiment:
[0130] The inkjet printing device of the embodiment is provided with a machine body, and the printing carriage is formed in the machine body. The ink cartridge is detachably installed in the printing carriage. Referring to Figure 19 Compared with the first embodiment, the elastic part 245 of the conductive connecting member 240 of the embodiment abuts on the first surface of the substrate 231, which can prevent the ink cartridge chip 230 from falling off. Figure 20 The ink cartridge 300 has a cartridge body 310 which encloses a cavity for containing ink. An ink outlet is arranged at the lower part of the cavity for communicating with the cavity. A handle 312 is arranged at the upper end of the cartridge body 310. Preferably, the handle 312 is an elastic handle which can be pressed and elastically deformed. In addition, an ink cartridge chip 330 is detachably installed on a front wall of the lower end of the cartridge body 310.
[0131] The ink cartridge chip 330 has a substrate 331, and four communication terminals 332 are arranged on the first surface of the substrate 331. Different from the first embodiment, referring to Figure 21The ground terminal 336 in the embodiment is not disposed on the second surface, but is disposed on a third surface of the substrate 331, which is adjacent to the first surface. In the embodiment, the third surface is a top wall of the substrate 331. Of course, in other embodiments, the third surface can also be two side walls or a bottom wall of the substrate 331. In addition, the four communication terminals 332 and the ground terminal 336 are all located on the same side of the ink outlet center line L3.
[0132] In addition, the ink cartridge 300 is further provided with a conductive connecting piece 340, which is made of metal and includes a first abutting section 341, a connecting section 342, and a second abutting section 343, wherein the connecting section 342 is located between the first abutting section 341 and the second abutting section 343. The lower end of the first abutting section 341 is a free end, and an elastic part 345 is disposed on the free end, which is a first end of the conductive connecting piece 340. The elastic part 345 abuts on the ground terminal 336, and the elastic part 345 is in a curved shape.
[0133] A protruding part 320 is disposed on the front wall of the ink cartridge 300, and the protruding part 320 is located below the handle 312. The protruding part 320 is provided with a buckling part 321, which includes two buckling pieces for buckling and fixing the connecting section 342, so that the connecting section 342 is attached to the outer wall of the protruding part 320.
[0134] When the conductive connecting piece 340 is installed to the ink cartridge 300, the first abutting section 341 is inserted into the side of the substrate 331 close to the front wall of the ink cartridge 300, the second abutting section 343 is located on the second side of the stylus holder, and the connecting section 342 is located above the stylus support part of the stylus holder. By arranging the conductive connecting piece 340, when the ink cartridge is installed to or removed from the inkjet printing device, the ground terminal 336 will not be in electrical contact with any stylus on the printing carriage facing the side of the substrate 331.
[0135] Since the ink dripping to the ink cartridge chip 330 mainly occurs after the ink cartridge 300 is installed to the inkjet printing device, in the embodiment, the conductive connecting piece 340 is fixed to the cartridge body 310 before the ink cartridge 300 is installed to the printing carriage, that is, the conductive connecting piece 340 is fixed by the buckling part 321. At this time, the elastic part 345 of the conductive connecting piece 340 is in close contact with the ground terminal 336. In this way, even if ink drips onto the elastic part 345 of the conductive connecting piece 340 and the ground terminal 336, since the elastic part 345 of the conductive connecting piece 340 is in close contact with the ground terminal 336, a large resistance will not be formed between the elastic part 345 of the conductive connecting piece 340 and the ground terminal 336 due to the presence of the ink, and the voltage division to other connecting terminals will not be caused.
[0136] Compared with the first embodiment, the elastic part 345 of the conductive connecting piece 340 of the present embodiment abuts against the top of the substrate 331, which can prevent the ink cartridge chip 330 from falling off the cartridge body 310.
[0137] The fourth embodiment:
[0138] The inkjet printing device of the present embodiment is provided with a machine body, a printing carriage is formed in the machine body, and the ink cartridge is detachably installed in the printing carriage. Referring to Figure 22 With Figure 23 Each ink cartridge 400 has a cartridge body 410, which encloses a cavity for containing ink, and an ink outlet 418 is arranged at the lower part of the cavity and communicates with the cavity. A handle 412 is arranged at the upper end of the cartridge body 410, which is an elastic handle and can be pressed and elastically deformed. In addition, an ink cartridge chip 430 is detachably installed on a front wall at the lower end of the cartridge body 410. Referring to Figure 26 A limiting groove 431 is arranged on the ink cartridge chip 430, and a plurality of limiting pieces 425 are arranged on the outer wall of the cartridge body 410, one limiting piece 425 can limit one limiting groove 431, so as to fix the ink cartridge chip 430 on the outer wall of the cartridge body 410.
[0139] The ink cartridge chip 430 has a substrate, a plurality of pairs of connecting terminals are arranged on the front surface and the back surface of the substrate, and each pair of connecting terminals can include two power terminals, two data terminals, two chip selection terminals, two clock terminals and two ground terminals. Each pair of connecting terminals of each type is located on the front surface and the back surface of the substrate. In the present embodiment, the front surface of the substrate is the surface facing the stylus holder 460, and the back surface is the surface facing away from the stylus holder 460. For example, a plurality of connecting terminals 432 are arranged on the front surface of the substrate. The arrangement of the connecting terminals on the back surface of the substrate can be changed according to actual needs, for example, they can be arranged in a straight line in sequence, or they can be arranged in a circle around the main controller; the connecting terminals on the back surface of the substrate can be arranged on the side surface of the substrate, or on the edge where the side surface and the back surface of the substrate intersect. The present embodiment does not limit the arrangement of the connecting terminals on the substrate.
[0140] Referring to Figure 24 With Figure 25 The ink cartridge 400 is also provided with a conductive connecting piece 420, which is made of metal, and the conductive connecting piece 420 is arranged on the outer wall of the cartridge body 410 and is in contact with the stylus holder 460. Figure 26It can be seen that the conductive connecting piece 420 is roughly in U shape, the first end of which is electrically connected with the connecting terminal on the ink cartridge chip 430, and the second end 422 is a free end for electrically connecting with the contact on the main control circuit board 450. The second end 422 of the conductive connecting piece 420 is roughly in triangle shape, one of the vertices of which is electrically connected with the contact on the main control circuit board 450. The main control circuit board 450 and the ink cartridge 400 are provided with a stylus holder 460, the stylus holder 460 is provided with a plurality of stylus supporting portions 461, each of which corresponds to one ink cartridge 400, and each of the stylus supporting portions 461 is provided with a plurality of styluses 462, one end of each of the styluses 462 is electrically connected with one contact on the main control circuit board 450, and the other end of the stylus 462 is electrically connected with the connecting terminal on the ink cartridge chip 430.
[0141] It can be seen that there are two paths for electrical connection between the connecting terminal on the ink cartridge chip 430 and the contact on the main control circuit board 450, one of which is the stylus 462 on the stylus supporting portion 461, and the other of which is the conductive connecting piece 420, so that in the case that the stylus 462 on the stylus supporting portion 461 is damaged, the connecting terminal of the ink cartridge chip 430 can be electrically connected with the contact on the main control circuit board 450 through the conductive connecting piece 420. Of course, in other embodiments, the connecting terminal on the front surface of the substrate of the ink cartridge chip 430 can be cancelled, and only the connecting terminal on the back surface of the substrate of the ink cartridge chip 430 and the conductive connecting piece 420 are electrically connected to the main control circuit board 450, so that the short circuit caused by the ink falling between the connecting terminals on the front surface of the substrate can be avoided.
[0142] The fixed block 470 is arranged on the outer wall of the cartridge body 410 outside the stylus holder 460, the fixed block 470 is arranged above the ink cartridge chip 430, and the conductive connecting piece 420 is arranged between the fixed block 470 and the outer wall of the cartridge body 410. Figure 26 It can be seen that the fixed block 470 is provided with two buckle members 471. The outer wall of the cartridge body 410 is provided with two buckling positions 421, each of the buckle members 471 is buckled on one of the buckling positions 421, so as to realize the fixed connection of the fixed block 470 and the ink cartridge 400 in the up-down and left-right four directions.
[0143] Part of the conductive connecting piece 420 is clamped between the fixed block 470 and the outer wall of the cartridge body 410, so as to fix the conductive connecting piece 420 on the ink cartridge 400. In addition, the outer wall of the cartridge body 410 is provided with a plurality of mounting grooves 426, and a section of the conductive connecting piece 420 can be fixed in one of the mounting grooves 426, so as to prevent the displacement of the conductive connecting piece 420 relative to the fixed block 470, and the mounting grooves 426 are also conducive to avoiding the damage of the conductive connecting piece 420.
[0144] When assembling the ink cartridge 400, first, the plurality of conductive connectors 420 are placed on the outer wall of the ink cartridge 400, for example, the conductive connectors 420 are installed on the corresponding installation grooves 426, then the fixing block 470 is placed on the cartridge body 410, and the fixing block 470 is buckled on the outer wall of the cartridge body 410, so that the fixing block 470 limits the conductive connectors 420. Finally, the ink cartridge chip 430 is installed on the outer wall of the cartridge body 410.
[0145] When the ink cartridge 400 is installed on the inkjet printing device, the second end 422 of the conductive connector 420 will be automatically inserted between the stylus rack 450 and the main control circuit board 460 with the insertion of the ink cartridge, so that the second end 422 of the conductive connector 420 is electrically connected with the corresponding contact on the main control circuit board 460. In this way, the connecting terminal of the ink cartridge chip 430 can be directly electrically connected with the corresponding contact on the main control circuit board 460 through the conductive connector 420. In this way, the conductive connector 420 will span both sides of the stylus support part 461, that is, the first end of the conductive connector 420 is located on the side of the stylus support part 461 close to the ink cartridge 400, and the second end 422 of the conductive connector 420 is located on the side of the stylus support part 461 close to the main control circuit board 450.
[0146] Fifth embodiment:
[0147] The inkjet printing device of the present embodiment is provided with a machine body, a printing carriage is formed in the machine body, and the ink cartridge is detachably installed in the printing carriage, see Figure 27 Each ink cartridge 500 has a cartridge body 510, which encloses a cavity for containing ink, and an ink outlet 518 is provided below the cavity and communicates with the cavity. A handle 512 is provided at the upper end of the cartridge body 510, which is a flexible handle that can be pressed and elastically deformed. In addition, an ink cartridge chip 530 is detachably installed on a front wall at the lower end of the cartridge body 510, and the ink cartridge chip 530 is fixed on the cartridge body 510 by cooperation of the limiting groove and the limiting piece.
[0148] The ink cartridge chip 530 has a substrate, and a plurality of connection terminals are arranged on the substrate, which can include power terminals, data terminals, chip select terminals, clock terminals and ground terminals. In addition, the ink cartridge 500 is also provided with a plurality of conductive connecting pieces 520, and the number of conductive connecting pieces 520 in this embodiment is three, that is, the number of conductive connecting pieces 520 is less than the number of connection terminals of the ink cartridge chip 530. The first end of each conductive connecting piece 520 is connected with one connection terminal on the back of the substrate, and the second end 522 is a free end, which is roughly triangular and is inserted between the stylus rack and the main control circuit board for electrical connection with the contacts on the main control circuit board. Preferably, the present embodiment is provided with corresponding conductive connecting pieces 520 for the plurality of styluses which are most easily damaged on the stylus rack, for example, the styluses corresponding to the ground terminals are most easily damaged, and therefore it is necessary to provide conductive connecting pieces 520 connected with the ground terminals. For those which are not provided with conductive connecting pieces 520, corresponding connection terminals are still arranged on the front surface of the substrate of the ink cartridge chip 530.
