Abstract

The present invention relates to a portable device for collecting small waste items. A disposable cup is inserted and secured in a portable container. The container is comprised of a rigid outer shell with a flip top lid with a seal. The top lid also has a funnel shaped opening and the interior of the container shell is conical in shape with the diameter of the lower interior smaller than the diameter of the upper interior and also smaller than the diameter of the base of the disposable cup. The bottom of the lower portion of the container shell has an aperture and the lower lid tightly closes the aperture of the bottom of the container shell. The device allows for the collection of small waste items in a sealable, closable, replaceable disposable cup while preventing deformation and damage.

[0019] The portable container for collecting saliva, sputum, and waste of the present invention is implemented as follows.

[0020] Before use, the user removes the top lid of the container, inserts the disposable cup into the outer shell of the container, and closes the top lid. After using the item for its intended purpose, i.e., when the disposable cup is full, the user replaces the disposable cup. To do this, the user removes both the top and bottom lids of the container, then pushes the disposable cup upwards through the lower hole in the outer shell with their fingers, and removes the full cup with their other hand. They then insert a clean disposable cup into the container and close the top and bottom lids. The container is ready for intended use. The container according to claim is suitable for several sizes of disposable cups.
