The design method comprises: selecting a plurality of products, performing profile scanning on the contact parts of each product with the clamp one by one to obtain product surface profile data; fitting and comparing the product surface profile data, and performing trimming to obtain the profile of the product after pre-deformation; performing reverse modeling on the profile of the product after pre-deformation, and designing the clamping surface of the clamp according to the modeled profile; performing hollow design on the clamping surface of the clamp; and setting a sealing ring for abutting against the product surface on the edge of the clamping surface of the clamp. A clamp made by using the above design method is also disclosed.
