Based on the embodiments of the present invention, all other embodiments obtained by ordinary technicians in this field without creative work are within the scope of protection of the present invention.
[0018] The present application provides a floating caliper radial pneumatic disc brake, which is described in detail below. It should be noted that the description order of the following embodiments does not limit the preferred order of the embodiments of the present application. In the following embodiments, the description of each embodiment has its own emphasis. [0019] In order to solve the technical problem that the brake in the prior art is a split structure, resulting in a complex brake structure and inconvenient assembly, an embodiment of the present application provides a floating caliper radial pneumatic disc brake, which is described in detail below.
[0020] like Figures 1 to 8 As shown, a floating caliper radial pneumatic disc brake comprises A bracket 1, a caliper body 2, a pair of friction plates 11, a push rod assembly 3 and a lever 5; The caliper body 2 is provided with a brake chamber 2a and a caliper inner chamber, the brake chamber 2a passes through the caliper body 2 from top to bottom, the caliper inner chamber is communicated with the brake chamber 2a, and the rear port 21-1 of the caliper inner chamber is suitable for connecting to an external air chamber; The upper end of the bracket 1 and the friction plate 11 are both located in the brake chamber 2a, and the friction plate 11 is arranged at the upper end of the bracket 1; The push rod assembly 3 and the lever 5 are both arranged in the caliper cavity. The push rod assembly 3 is adapted to push the friction plate 11. The lever 5 is horizontally arranged in the caliper cavity, with its front end connected to the push rod assembly 3 and its rear end extending to the rear port 21-1 of the caliper cavity. An installation surface 21 is formed on the caliper body 2 at the rear port 21-1 of the caliper body 2, and the installation surface 21 is a horizontal plane. A synchronization surface 22 is formed at the rear side of the caliper body 2. The synchronization surface 22 is a vertical plane. The synchronization surface 22 is in a "冂" - shaped structure. Main adjustment mounting holes 22-1 and secondary adjustment mounting holes 22-2 are respectively opened on both sides at the lower end of the synchronization surface 22. Four drag rods 23 for supporting the chain 35 are arranged at the upper end of the synchronization surface 22. A main adjustment mechanism 33 and a secondary adjustment mechanism 34 are arranged at the rear side of the push rod assembly 3. The rear ends of the main adjustment mechanism 33 and the secondary adjustment mechanism 34 respectively extend out from the main adjustment mounting hole 22-1 and the secondary adjustment mounting hole 22-2. A main sprocket 33-1 is arranged at the rear end of the main adjustment mechanism 33, as Figure 6 shown. A secondary sprocket 34-1 is arranged at the rear side of the secondary adjustment mechanism 34. A chain 35 is connected between the main sprocket 33-1 and the secondary sprocket 34-1, and the chain 35 is placed on the four drag rods 23.
[0021] Specifically, as an alternative implementation in this embodiment, as Figure 1 and Figure 6 shown, a protective cover 4 is arranged on the synchronization surface 22. The main sprocket 33-1, the secondary sprocket 34-1, and the chain 35 are all located inside the protective cover 4. The protective cover 4 is in a "冂" - shaped structure.
[0022] The protective cover 4 is fixed on the synchronization surface 22 by screws, and the sprockets and the chain 35 located outside the caliper body 2 are shielded and protected by the protective cover 4.
[0023] Specifically, as an alternative implementation in this embodiment, as Figure 2 and Figure 7 shown, a pair of bearing installation grooves are arranged in the caliper cavity. The bearing installation grooves are in a semi - circular structure, and clamping grooves are opened at both the upper end and the lower end of the bearing installation grooves. A semi - circular needle roller bearing 6 is arranged in the bearing installation groove. A pair of clamping blocks 61 are arranged on the bearing seat of the semi - circular needle roller bearing 6, and the clamping blocks 61 cooperate with the clamping grooves to fix the semi - circular needle roller bearing 6 in the bearing installation groove. The lever 5 forms two arc - shaped supporting parts, and the lever 5 cooperates with the semi - circular needle roller bearing 6 through the arc - shaped supporting parts.
[0024] The semi - circular needle roller bearing 6, as Figure 7 shown, forms clamping blocks 61 at both ends of its arc - shaped shaft seat, so that it can be clamped in the caliper body 2.
[0025] Specifically, as an optional implementation in this embodiment, Figure 4 and Figure 8 As shown, the front end of the inner cavity of the forceps forms a circle of connecting surface 24, and a plurality of connecting holes are provided on the connecting surface 24. The mounting plate 36 of the push rod assembly 3 is connected to the connecting holes by screws, so that the mounting plate 36 is fixed to the connecting surface 24.
[0026] Specifically, as an optional implementation in this embodiment, Figure 8 As shown, the push rod assembly 3 includes A mounting plate 36, a support seat 31, a return spring 37, a pair of retaining rings 38, a pair of push rods 32, a main adjustment mechanism 33 and a slave adjustment mechanism 34; The push rod 32 is arranged on both sides of the support seat 31 and forms a spiral fit with the support seat 31. The front end of the push rod 32 passes through the mounting plate 36 and is connected to the push plate. The push plate is suitable for matching with the friction plate 11. A return spring 37 is provided between the front side of the support seat 31 and the mounting plate 36, and the rear side of the support seat 31 cooperates with the lever 5; The main adjustment mechanism 33 and the slave adjustment mechanism 34 are respectively connected to two push rods 32. The push rods 32 are screw rods.
[0027] The retaining ring 38 is connected to the support seat 31 and is pressed onto the support seat 31. The retaining ring 38 is a rubber part with a steel ring installed in its small-diameter mouth, which is then pressed onto the support seat 31. The surface of the retaining ring 38 has tiny holes for ventilation. The function of the retaining ring 38 is to protect the screw sealing cover to prevent oil and dirt from entering.
[0028] Working principle of push rod assembly 3: the rear end of lever 5 cooperates with the air chamber push rod. When the air chamber push rod pushes lever 5 downward, the front end of lever 5 pushes support seat 31 forward, and support seat 31 drives two push rods 32 and push plate to move forward together, so as to realize the braking of friction plate 11. When the air chamber push rod is released, support seat 31 and lever 5 are reset backward under the action of return spring 37.
[0029] The main adjusting mechanism 33 and the slave adjusting mechanism 34 are mainly used to adjust the relative position of the push rod 32 on the support seat 31, thereby adjusting the position of the push plate relative to the support seat 31, and finally controlling the brake clearance between the friction plate 11 and the friction plate on the vehicle.
[0030] The principles of the main adjustment mechanism 33 and the slave adjustment mechanism 34 in this embodiment are existing and will not be elaborated here.
[0031] The caliper body 2 in the brake is integrally designed. When installing the push rod assembly 3 into this caliper body 2, the push rod assembly 3 can be pre-assembled first. The two remaining sprockets and the chain 35 at the rear ends of the main adjustment mechanism 33 and the sub-adjustment mechanism 34 are not installed temporarily. The push rod assembly 3 is inserted into the caliper inner cavity from the front port of the caliper body 2. The mounting plate 36 is tightly connected to the connection surface 24. The rear ends of the main adjustment mechanism 33 and the sub-adjustment mechanism 34 extend out from the main adjustment mounting hole 22-1 and the sub-adjustment mounting hole 22-2 respectively, and then the main sprocket 33-1 and the sub-sprocket 34-1 are installed respectively, and finally the chain 35 is connected.
[0032] This installation method reduces the assembly difficulty of the brake and facilitates disassembly and repair.
[0033] Specifically, as an alternative implementation method in this embodiment, as Figure 3 、 Figure 4 and Figure 5 shown, the caliper inner cavity includes a first caliper inner cavity 2b and a second caliper inner cavity 2c. The first caliper inner cavity 2b is a wide cavity and is connected to the brake cavity 2a. The push rod assembly 3 is located in the first caliper inner cavity 2b. The second caliper inner cavity 2c is a narrow cavity. The rear end of the lever 5 extends into the second caliper inner cavity 2c. The rear port 21-1 of the caliper body 2 is connected to the rear end of the second caliper inner cavity 2c; A flange body 25 is formed on the caliper body 2 at the junction of the first caliper inner cavity 2b and the second caliper inner cavity 2c. The flange body 25 is in a "冂" - shaped structure. The synchronization surface 22 is located on the rear side of the flange body 25.
[0034] The caliper body 2 is integrally formed, and the structure of the caliper inner cavity is optimized. In the past, for the split caliper body 2, the sprockets and the chain 35 of the main adjustment mechanism 33 and the sub-adjustment mechanism 34 were all located inside the caliper body 2. Each component of the push plate assembly was assembled while assembling the split caliper body 2 into a whole, and the assembly efficiency was very low during this process. Now, the integrally formed caliper body 2 has also re-optimized the inner cavity. The sprockets and the chain 35 of the main adjustment mechanism 33 and the sub-adjustment mechanism 34 are all installed outside the caliper body 2, thereby reducing the overall weight of the caliper body 2, achieving lightweight, and the integral structure also makes the caliper body 2 have higher overall strength.
[0035] The caliper body 2 is of an integrally formed structure, and its force-bearing structure is better, avoiding the problem of the failure of the connection bolts of the split caliper, reducing the number of assembled parts, reducing the weight of the brake, having a small rigid deformation amount, improving the rigidity and hardness of the brake, and at the same time increasing the sealing performance of the brake, preventing water and dust from entering the caliper, and improving the service life of the brake.
