Abstract
Description
Display panel Technical Field
[0001] The present disclosure belongs to the field of display technology, and particularly relates to a display panel. Background Art
[0002] Millimeter wave technology is the most critical technology for achieving high-data-rate wireless communications in fifth-generation mobile communication systems. 3GPP, the international standardization organization for 5G systems, divides 5G frequency bands into FR1 and FR2. FR1 covers the 450MHz-6GHz frequency range, also known as the Sub-6GHz band, while FR2 covers the 24.25GHz-52.6GHz frequency range, also known as the millimeter wave band. FR1 and FR2 are further subdivided into multiple sub-bands, each designated by a different duplex mode (FDD / TDD), represented by a different frequency band number. The sub-bands of the 5G millimeter wave band are divided as follows: n257 (26.5-29.5GHz), n258 (24.25-27.5GHz), n259 (39.5-43.5GHz), n260 (37.0-40.0GHz) and n261 (27.5-28.35GHz). Generally speaking, the n257, n258 and n261 bands are divided into the 28GHz band, while the n259 and n260 bands are divided into the 39GHz band. The n257 band partially overlaps with n258 and n261. According to GSA statistics in May 2021, a total of 112 operators worldwide have held 26 / 28GHz 5G millimeter wave licenses, of which 27 operators have already or are actually deploying 26 / 28GHz 5G millimeter wave networks. A total of 27 operators hold licenses in the 39GHz band, mainly concentrated in the United States. At present, although the specific plan for my country's millimeter wave spectrum has not been officially released, the country and the industry attach great importance to the promotion of related work.
[0003] With the widespread adoption and application of millimeter waves, the demand for highly integrated antennas is becoming increasingly urgent. Dual-band antennas can reduce the number of antennas in a system, simplify the hardware structure, and lower system costs. Dual-polarization antenna technology leverages the incoherence of orthogonal electromagnetic waves and the multipath transmission effect of signals. By using antennas with mutually orthogonal polarizations to operate simultaneously in duplex mode, it effectively addresses multipath fading and polarization mismatch problems that occur during electromagnetic wave transmission, thereby improving system communication capacity. In this context, designing a dual-band, dual-polarization antenna capable of covering the 28 / 39 GHz millimeter wave spectrum is of great research significance in the field of antenna technology.

[0051] In order to enable those skilled in the art to better understand the technical solution of the present invention, the present invention is further described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings and specific implementation methods.

[0053] In the first aspect, FIG1 is a schematic diagram of a film layer of a display panel according to an embodiment of the present disclosure; as shown in FIG1 , an embodiment of the present disclosure provides a display panel, which includes a display module 1 and an antenna module 2 located on the light-emitting side of the display module 1. The antenna module 2 includes at least one antenna unit, and the antenna unit includes a dielectric substrate, a radiating structure provided on the dielectric substrate, and a first feed line 31 and a second feed line 32 for feeding the radiating structure and electrically connected to the radiating structure, and the first feed line 31 and the second feed line 32 have different feeding directions. The radiating structure in the antenna unit according to the embodiment of the present disclosure includes radiating patches of at least two radiating frequency bands, and each radiating patch is electrically connected. That is, the antenna unit in the embodiment of the present disclosure is a co-aperture multi-wideband dual-polarization antenna.
[0054] In this disclosed embodiment, by integrating a common-aperture, multi-band, dual-polarized antenna into the display panel, the display panel can meet wider frequency band bandwidth requirements, thus improving applicability. Furthermore, in this disclosed embodiment, antenna module 2 is disposed on the display surface side of display module 1. The conductive film layer structure in display module 1 can serve as a reference ground (reflective layer) for antenna module 2. Because a reference ground is not required in antenna module 2, the display panel can be made thinner and lighter.
[0055] In some examples, FIG2 is a schematic diagram of another film layer of a display panel according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As shown in FIG2 , the display module 1 according to the embodiment of the present disclosure may be an OLED (Organic Light-Emitting Diode) display module 1. The antenna module 2 is disposed on the light-emitting surface of the OLED display module 1. The display panel further includes a polarizer 4 and a cover glass 5 located on the side of the antenna module 2 facing away from the OLED display module 1. The antenna module 2 may be secured to the display module 1 via a transparent optically conductive adhesive 101 (OCA adhesive). The cover glass 5 and the polarizer 4 may also be secured via a transparent optically conductive adhesive 102.
[0056] Furthermore, a touch component is integrated into the display module 1 of the embodiment of the present disclosure, that is, the display panel of the embodiment of the present disclosure has a touch function.
[0057] In some examples, the radiating structure of the antenna unit in the disclosed embodiments includes two radiating patches, namely a first radiating patch 21 and a second radiating patch 22, with two radiating frequency bands. The radiating frequency band of the first radiating patch 21 is smaller than that of the second radiating patch 22, meaning that the first radiating patch 21 is a low-frequency radiating patch and the second radiating patch 22 is a high-frequency radiating patch. In the disclosed embodiments, the first feed line 31 and the second feed line 32 are both electrically connected to the first radiating patch 21. For example, the first radiating patch 21 radiates at a frequency of approximately 26 GHz, while the second radiating patch 22 radiates at a frequency of approximately 39 GHz.
[0058] In addition, since the radiation frequency of the first radiation patch 21 is lower than that of the second radiation patch 22, the size of the first radiation patch 21 is larger than that of the second radiation patch 22. In the embodiment of the present disclosure, the first radiation patch 21 and the second radiation patch 22 are both square patches. However, it should be understood that the first radiation patch 21 and the second radiation patch 22 can also be patches of any shape, such as triangle, circle, regular hexagon, rectangle, etc.
[0059] In some examples, the radiation structure, the first feed line 31 and the second feed line 32 in the embodiments of the present disclosure can be provided in the same layer and made of the same material, which helps to achieve a lighter and thinner display panel.
[0060] Furthermore, the radiating structure, first feed line 31, and second feed line 32 in the disclosed embodiment are disposed on a side of the dielectric substrate facing away from the display module 1. The dielectric substrate may be a COP substrate, which has a transmittance greater than or equal to 89%, exhibiting high transparency and minimizing the impact on the transmittance of the display panel. Of course, the dielectric substrate is not limited to COP substrates; materials with high transparency, such as PET, CPI (colorless polyimide), and glass, may also be used.
[0061] In order to make the structure of the antenna module 2 in the display panel in the embodiment of the present disclosure clearer, the antenna module 2 in the embodiment of the present disclosure is described below with reference to specific examples.
[0062] First Example: FIG3 is a schematic diagram of an antenna unit in a display panel according to the first example of the present embodiment. As shown in FIG3 , the antenna module 2 in the display panel includes a plurality of antenna units arranged in an array, each antenna unit including four first radiating patches 21 and five second radiating patches 22. The connecting line of the centers of the four first radiating patches 21 forms a virtual quadrilateral 100, i.e., the four vertices of the virtual quadrilateral 100 are the centers of the four first radiating patches 21. A second radiating patch 22 is provided on each of the four sides of the virtual quadrilateral 100 and within the virtual quadrilateral 100. Referring to FIG3 , for each second radiating patch 22 on each side of the virtual quadrilateral 100, the center of the second radiating patch 22 is located on the side of the virtual quadrilateral 100, for example, the center of the second radiating patch 22 is located at the midpoint of the side of the virtual quadrilateral 100. The center of the second radiating patch 22 located within the virtual quadrilateral 100 coincides with the center O of the virtual quadrilateral 100.
[0063] Furthermore, the four vertices of the virtual quadrilateral 100 are a first vertex P1 and a second vertex P2, which are opposite each other along the first direction X, and a third vertex P3 and a fourth vertex P4, which are opposite each other along the second direction Y. The center of the first radiating patch 21a is located at the first vertex P1, the center of the first radiating patch 21b is located at the second vertex P2, the center of the first radiating patch 21c is located at the third vertex P3, and the center of the first radiating patch 21d is located at the fourth vertex P4. In this example, the first feed line 31 is electrically connected to the first radiating patch 21a, and the connection node is the first node; the second feed line 32 is electrically connected to the first radiating patch 21b, and the connection node is the second node. In the disclosed embodiment, the line connecting the first node and the first vertex P1 is a first line segment, and the line connecting the second node and the second vertex P2 is a second line segment. The extension direction of the first line segment is perpendicular to the extension direction of the second line segment. That is, the feeding direction of the first feed line 31 and the feeding direction of the second feed line 32 differ by 90°.
[0064] In some examples, further, as shown in FIG3 , the second radiation patch 22 a located on the edge of the virtual quadrilateral 100 is electrically connected to the first radiation patch 21 a through a connecting strip, and the second radiation patch 22 b is electrically connected to the first radiation patch 21 a through a connecting strip.
[0065] Of course, in the embodiment of the present disclosure, the first radiation patch 21 and the second radiation patch 22 may not be connected by a connecting strip. For example, the first radiation patch 21 and the second radiation patch 22 may be coupled. As long as the first radiation patch 21 can be electrically connected, it is within the protection scope of the embodiment of the present disclosure.
[0066] In some examples, the first radiating patch 21 and the second radiating patch 22 each include a plurality of first traces 201 and second traces 202, and the first traces 201 and second traces 202 are intersectingly arranged to define a plurality of hollow portions. In other words, the first radiating patch 21 and the second radiating patch 22 both employ a grid structure, which can improve the light transmittance of the display panel.
[0067] It should be noted that the greater the number of hollow portions, the higher the transmittance of the first radiation patch 21 and the second radiation patch 22. However, at the same time, the effective area of the first radiation patch 21 and the second radiation patch 22 will be reduced, resulting in a decrease in radiation efficiency. In this case, the first radiation patch 21 and the second radiation patch 22 are coupled to output electromagnetic waves, which will result in lower radiation efficiency of the antenna module 2. Therefore, in this case, the second radiation unit can be directly connected to the first radiation unit via a connecting strip. In addition, in the embodiment of the present disclosure, the setting of the antenna module 2 needs to take into account radiation efficiency and transmittance. At this time, it is necessary to reasonably set the line spacing, line width, line thickness and other parameters of the first trace 201 and the second trace 202 in the first radiation patch 21 and the second radiation patch 22.
[0068] Second Example: Figure 4 is a schematic diagram of an antenna unit in a display panel according to a second example of the present embodiment. As shown in Figure 4 , the antenna module 2 in the display panel includes multiple antenna units arranged in an array, each antenna unit including four first radiating patches 21 and five second radiating patches 22. The connecting line of the centers of the four first radiating patches 21 forms a virtual quadrilateral 100, i.e., the four vertices of the virtual quadrilateral 100 are the centers of the four first radiating patches 21. A second radiating patch 22 is disposed on each of the four sides of the virtual quadrilateral 100 and within the virtual quadrilateral 100. Referring to Figure 4 , for each second radiating patch 22 on each side of the virtual quadrilateral 100, the center of the second radiating patch 22 is located on the side of the virtual quadrilateral 100, for example, the center of the second radiating patch 22 is located at the midpoint of the side of the virtual quadrilateral 100. The center of the second radiating patch 22 within the virtual quadrilateral 100 coincides with the center O of the virtual quadrilateral 100.
[0069] Furthermore, the four vertices of the virtual quadrilateral 100 are a first vertex P1 and a second vertex P2, which are arranged opposite to each other along the first direction X, and a third vertex P3 and a fourth vertex P4, which are arranged opposite to each other along the second direction Y. In this example, the first feed line 31 and the second feed line 32 are both divided into two feed lines, that is, the first feed line 31 has a first feeding terminal and two second feeding terminals, and the second feed line 32 has a third feeding terminal and two fourth feeding terminals. One of the second feeding terminals of the first feed line 31 is electrically connected to the first radiating patch 21a, and the connection node is the third node. The other second feeding terminal of the first feed line 31 is electrically connected to the first radiating patch 21c, and the connection node is the fourth node. A fourth feeding end of the second feeder 32 is electrically connected to the first radiating patch 21b, with the connection node being the fifth node. The other fourth feeding end of the second feeder 32 is electrically connected to the first radiating patch 21c, with the connection node being the sixth node. The line connecting the third node and the first vertex P1 of the virtual quadrilateral 100 forms a third line segment. The line connecting the fourth node and the third vertex P3 of the virtual quadrilateral 100 forms a fourth line segment. The line connecting the fifth node and the second vertex P2 of the virtual quadrilateral 100 forms a fifth line segment. The line connecting the sixth node and the third vertex P3 of the virtual quadrilateral 100 forms a fifth line segment. The third line segment extends in the same direction as the fourth line segment, the fifth line segment extends in the same direction as the sixth line segment, and the third line segment extends in a different direction than the fifth line segment. For example, the third line segment extends in a perpendicular direction to the fifth line segment. That is, the feeding direction of the first feeder 31 and the feeding direction of the second feeder 32 differ by 90°.
[0070] In this example, the first feeder 31 and the second feeder 32 are directly connected to the low-frequency radiating patch, the first radiating patch 21a, and the first radiating patch 21a, respectively. Current preferentially resonates in the low-frequency radiating patch. To increase high-frequency radiation, the first radiating patch 21 and the adjacent second radiating patch 22 can be connected via a connecting strip, thereby enhancing current flow. For example, at least a portion of the second radiating patch 22 can be connected to an adjacent first radiating patch. Furthermore, the second radiating patch 22 can be connected to the first radiating patch 21, which is electrically connected to the first feeder 31 and the second feeder 32, via a connecting strip.
[0071] Specifically, referring to Figure 4, in the embodiment of the present disclosure, the second radiation patch 22a and the first radiation patch 21a are connected by a connecting strip, the second radiation patch 22b and the first radiation patch 21b are connected by a connecting strip, and the second radiation patch 22c and the second radiation patch 22d are respectively connected to the first radiation patch 21d by corresponding connecting strips.
[0072] Figure 5 is a simulation diagram of the radiation efficiency and gain of the antenna unit shown in Figure 4; as shown in Figure 5, it can be seen that since the first feed line 31 and the second feed line 32 are respectively electrically connected to the low-frequency radiation patch, the radiation efficiency of the antenna unit near 26 GHz is significantly higher than the radiation efficiency near 39 GHz. In terms of gain, both 26 GHz and 39 GHz have a gain greater than 5 dBi.
[0073] Figure 6 is a schematic diagram of an antenna module 2 including the antenna unit shown in Figure 4; Figure 6 shows a schematic diagram of an antenna module 2 composed of 1*4 antenna units; as shown in Figure 6, Figure 7 is a simulation diagram of the radiation efficiency and gain of the antenna unit shown in Figure 6; as shown in Figure 7, similar to a single antenna unit, the radiation efficiency near 26 GHz is significantly higher than the radiation efficiency near 39 GHz. In terms of gain, both 26 GHz and 39 GHz have a gain of about 10 dBi.
[0074] Figure 8 is a schematic diagram of a variation of the antenna unit shown in Figure 4 . As shown in Figure 8 , in this antenna unit, the second radiating patch 22a is connected to the first radiating patch 21a via a connecting strip, and the second radiating patch 22b is connected to the first radiating patch 21b via a connecting strip. This means that compared to Figure 4 , this antenna unit has two fewer connecting strips.
[0075] Figure 9 is another variant schematic diagram of the antenna unit shown in Figure 4; as shown in Figure 9, in the embodiment of the present disclosure, the first radiation patch 21 and the second radiation patch 22 may also not be connected by a connecting strip. For example, the first radiation patch 21 and the second radiation patch 22 may be coupled. As long as the first radiation patch 21 can be electrically connected, it is within the protection scope of the embodiment of the present disclosure.
[0076] In some examples, Figure 10 is a schematic diagram of a radiating patch according to an embodiment of the present disclosure; Figure 11 is a schematic diagram of another radiating patch according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As shown in Figures 10 and 11, both the first radiating patch 21 and the second radiating patch 22 include multiple first traces 201 and second traces 202, which are arranged in an intersecting manner to define multiple hollow portions. In other words, both the first radiating patch 21 and the second radiating patch 22 employ a grid structure, which can improve the light transmittance of the display panel.
[0077] In the present embodiment, the first line 201 and the second line 202 are not necessarily perpendicular to each other. Although the first line 201 and the second line 202 are arranged to cross and be perpendicular in Figures 10 and 11, in practice, in order to match the luminous pixels and avoid the generation of moiré patterns, a hollow portion of a diamond grid is often used, and the angle and side length of the diamond need to be optically designed.
[0078] It should be noted that the greater the number of hollow portions, the higher the transmittance of the first radiation patch 21 and the second radiation patch 22.
[0079] Furthermore, when the first radiating patch 21 and the second radiating patch 22 are formed by the intersecting first traces 201 and second traces 202, there are two possible configurations for the edges of the first radiating patch 21 and the second radiating patch 22. The configurations for the edges of the first radiating patch 21 and the second radiating patch 22 can be the same, so the following description will only use the configuration for the edge of the first radiating patch 21 as an example.
[0080] In some examples, for any first radiating patch 21, the ends of the first trace 201 and the ends of the second trace 202 are separated from each other at the edge of the first radiating patch 21, meaning that the edge of the first radiating patch 21 is discontinuous. In other examples, for any first radiating patch 21, the ends of each first trace 201 are connected to the second trace 202, and the ends of each second trace 202 are connected to the first trace 201. In this case, the hollowed-out portion formed in the first radiating patch 21 is a complete hollowed-out pattern. In this case, the outer contour of the first radiating patch 21 is relatively complete, and the corresponding second radiating patch 22 also adopts the same structure. Since the first and second radiating patches 21, 22 primarily rely on surface excitation resonance, adopting a complete structure facilitates radiation. Specifically, Figure 12 is a comparison diagram of the radiation gains of the antenna unit composed of the radiating patch shown in Figure 10 and the antenna unit composed of the radiating patch shown in Figure 11; as shown in Figure 12, S1 represents the gain simulation diagram of the radiating patch antenna unit shown in Figure 10; S2 represents the gain simulation diagram of the radiating patch antenna unit shown in Figure 11.
[0081] In some examples, the antenna module 2 in the embodiment of the present disclosure includes a radiation layer, which, in addition to the first radiation patch 21 and the second radiation patch 22, is also provided with a redundant radiation structure. At this time, the radiation patch roughly covers the display module 1. Such a setting can improve the display uniformity of the display panel.
[0082] Furthermore, the radiating layer can be composed of a first routing line 201 and a second routing line 202 arranged in a cross pattern. In this case, the first routing line 201 and the second routing line 202 are disconnected between the first radiating patch 21, the second radiating patch 22, and the redundant radiating structure. In this case, after forming the cross pattern of the first routing line 201 and the second routing line 202, the first routing line 201 and the second routing line 202 are disconnected to form the first radiating patch 21, the second radiating patch 22, and the redundant radiating structure. This facilitates the formation of the first radiating patch 21, the second radiating patch 22, and the redundant radiating structure, while also helping to achieve uniform transmittance of the display module 1.
[0083] Third Example: Figure 13 is a schematic diagram of an antenna unit in a display panel according to a third example of the present disclosure. As shown in Figure 13 , this example has a substantially identical structure to the second example, differing only in that the second radiating patches 22 located on the sides of the virtual quadrilateral 100 in this example are further away from the center O of the virtual quadrilateral 100 than the second radiating patches 22 located on the same side of the virtual quadrilateral 100 in the second example. Specifically, the first radiating patches 21 and the second radiating patches 22 located on the same side of the virtual quadrilateral 100 each have a first side parallel to the side of the virtual quadrilateral 100 and further away from the center of the virtual quadrilateral 100. The first side of the first radiating patch 21 and the first side of the second radiating patch 22 are aligned. In this case, the outer contour of the antenna unit is a quadrilateral.
[0084] FIG14 is a simulation diagram of the radiation efficiency and gain of the antenna unit shown in FIG13 ; as shown in FIG14 , the radiation efficiency of the antenna unit near 26 GHz is significantly higher than that near 39 GHz. In terms of gain, both 26 GHz and 39 GHz have a gain greater than 5 dBi.
[0085] Furthermore, in this example, the second radiation patch 22 is connected to the adjacent first radiation patch 21 by coupling. Of course, in this example, the second radiation patch 22 and the adjacent first radiation patch 21 can also be connected by a connecting strip.
[0086] In some examples, the antenna module 2 may also have a second radiation patch 22a that is only close to the first feed line 31 and a second radiation patch 22b that is close to the second feed line 32, which are farther away from the center O of the virtual quadrilateral 100 than the second radiation patch 22 in the second example; the center of the second radiation patch 22c and the center of the second radiation patch 22d are located on the edges of their respective virtual quadrilaterals 100.
[0087] Specifically, for the first radiation patch 21 and the second radiation patch 22 located on the same side of the virtual quadrilateral 100, the first radiation patch 21 and the second radiation patch 22 both have a first side parallel to the side of the virtual quadrilateral 100 and away from the center of the virtual quadrilateral 100, the first side of the first radiation patch 21a, the first side of the first radiation patch 21c, and the first side of the second radiation patch 22a are located on the same straight line, and the first side of the first radiation patch 21b, the first side of the first radiation patch 21c, and the first side of the second radiation patch 22b are located on the same straight line.
[0088] Fourth Example: FIG15 is a schematic diagram of an antenna unit in a display panel according to a fourth example of the present disclosure. As shown in FIG15 , this example has substantially the same structure as the third example, differing only in that the second radiating patch 22c and the second radiating patch 22d are closer to the center O of the virtual quadrilateral 100 than in the fourth example. Specifically, the first radiating patch 21 and the second radiating patch 22 each have a second side parallel to the respective sides of the virtual quadrilateral 100 and close to the center of the virtual quadrilateral 100. The second side of the first radiating patch 21a, the second side of the first radiating patch 21d, and the second side of the second radiating patch 22a, which are located on the same side of the virtual quadrilateral 100, are aligned. The second side of the first radiating patch 21b, the second side of the first radiating patch 21d, and the second side of the second radiating patch 22c, which are located on the same side of the virtual quadrilateral 100, are aligned.

In terms of gain, both 26 GHz and 39 GHz have a gain greater than 5 dBi.
[0090] Fifth example: Figure 17 is a schematic diagram of the antenna unit in the display panel of the fifth example of the present embodiment; as shown in Figure 17, this example has a structure roughly the same as the fourth example, with the only difference being that not only the second radiation patch 22c and the second radiation patch 22d are closer to the center O of the virtual quadrilateral 100 than the fourth example, but also the second radiation patch 22a and the second radiation patch 22b are closer to the center O of the virtual quadrilateral 100 than the fourth example. Specifically, the first radiation patch 21 and the second radiation patch 22 both have a second side parallel to the side of the virtual quadrilateral 100 in which they are located and close to the center of the virtual quadrilateral 100. The second side of the first radiation patch 21a, the second side of the first radiation patch 21d, and the second side of the second radiation patch 22a located on the same side of the virtual quadrilateral 100 are located on the same straight line; the second side of the first radiation patch 21b, the second side of the first radiation patch 21d, and the second side of the second radiation patch 22c located on the same side of the virtual quadrilateral 100 are located on the same straight line; the second side of the first radiation patch 21a, the second side of the first radiation patch 21c, and the second side of the second radiation patch 22a located on the same side of the virtual quadrilateral 100 are located on the same straight line; the second side of the first radiation patch 21b, the second side of the first radiation patch 21c, and the second side of the second radiation patch 22b located on the same side of the virtual quadrilateral 100 are located on the same straight line.
[0091] FIG18 is a simulation diagram of the radiation efficiency and gain of the antenna unit shown in FIG17 ; as shown in FIG18 , the radiation efficiency of the antenna unit near 26 GHz is significantly higher than that near 39 GHz. In terms of gain, both 26 GHz and 39 GHz have a gain greater than 5 dBi.
[0092] Sixth Example: Figure 19 is a schematic diagram of an antenna unit in a display panel according to the sixth example of the present disclosure. As shown in Figure 19 , this example has a substantially identical structure to the third example, differing only in that an auxiliary radiating patch is connected to at least one side of the second radiating patch 22e located at the center of the virtual quadrilateral 100. Referring to Figure 19 , auxiliary radiating patches are connected to two sides of the second radiating patch 22e. One auxiliary radiating patch extends between the first radiating patch 21a and the first radiating patch 21c, and the other auxiliary radiating patch extends between the first radiating patch 21b and the first radiating patch 21c.
[0093] Figure 20 is a simulation diagram of the radiation efficiency and gain of the antenna unit shown in Figure 19; as shown in Figure 20, the radiation efficiency of the antenna unit near 26 GHz is significantly higher than the radiation efficiency near 39 GHz. In terms of gain, both 26 GHz and 39 GHz have a gain greater than 5 dBi.
[0094] Example 7: Figure 21 is a schematic diagram of an antenna unit in a display panel according to the seventh example of the present disclosure. As shown in Figure 21 , this example is substantially similar to the second example, differing only in that two first radiating patches 21 are added, one on each side of the first radiating patch 21a and the other on the other side of the second radiating patch 22b. In this example, the addition of first radiating patches 21, also known as low-frequency radiating patches, increases the low-frequency bandwidth.
[0095] Figure 22 is a simulation diagram of the radiation efficiency and gain of the antenna unit shown in Figure 20; as shown in Figure 22, the radiation efficiency of the antenna unit near 26 GHz is significantly higher than the radiation efficiency near 39 GHz. In terms of gain, both 26 GHz and 39 GHz have a gain greater than 5 dBi.
[0096] In some examples, regardless of whether the antenna module 2 in the embodiment of the present disclosure adopts any of the above modes, the antenna module 2 also includes a transceiver unit, a radio frequency transceiver, a signal amplifier, a power amplifier, and a filtering unit. The antenna in the communication device can be used as a transmitting antenna or as a receiving antenna. Among them, the transceiver unit may include a baseband and a receiving end. The baseband provides a signal of at least one frequency band, such as a 2G signal, a 3G signal, a 4G signal, a 5G signal, etc., and sends a signal of at least one frequency band to the radio frequency transceiver. After the antenna in the communication system receives the signal, it can be processed by the filtering unit, the power amplifier, the signal amplifier, and the radio frequency transceiver and then transmitted to the receiving end in the transceiver unit. The receiving end may be, for example, a smart gateway.
[0097] Furthermore, a radio frequency transceiver is connected to the transceiver unit and is used to modulate the signals sent by the transceiver unit or to demodulate the signals received by the antenna and transmit them back to the transceiver unit. Specifically, the radio frequency transceiver may include a transmitting circuit, a receiving circuit, a modulation circuit, and a demodulation circuit. After the transmitting circuit receives various types of signals provided by the baseband, the modulation circuit can modulate these various types of signals provided by the baseband and then transmit them to the antenna. The antenna receives the signal and transmits it to the receiving circuit of the radio frequency transceiver. The receiving circuit transmits the signal to the demodulation circuit, which demodulates the signal and transmits it to the receiving end.
[0098] Furthermore, the RF transceiver is connected to a signal amplifier and a power amplifier, which are then connected to a filtering unit, which is connected to at least one antenna. When the communication system transmits signals, the signal amplifier is used to increase the signal-to-noise ratio of the signal output by the RF transceiver before transmitting it to the filtering unit. The power amplifier is used to amplify the power of the signal output by the RF transceiver before transmitting it to the filtering unit. The filtering unit may specifically include a duplexer and a filtering circuit. The filtering unit combines the signals output by the signal amplifier and the power amplifier, filters out noise, and then transmits them to the antenna, which radiates the signal. When the communication system receives signals, the antenna receives the signal and transmits it to the filtering unit. The filtering unit filters out noise from the signal received by the antenna and transmits it to the signal amplifier and power amplifier. The signal amplifier amplifies the signal received by the antenna to increase the signal-to-noise ratio. The power amplifier amplifies the power of the signal received by the antenna. The signal received by the antenna is processed by the power amplifier and the signal amplifier before being transmitted to the RF transceiver, which then transmits it to the transceiver unit.
[0099] In some examples, the signal amplifier may include various types of signal amplifiers, such as a low noise amplifier, which is not limited herein.
[0100] In some examples, the display panel provided by the embodiments of the present disclosure further includes a power management unit, which is connected to a power amplifier and provides the power amplifier with a voltage for amplifying a signal.

Those skilled in the art will appreciate that various modifications and improvements can be made without departing from the spirit and substance of the present invention, and such modifications and improvements are also considered to be within the scope of protection of the present invention.
