Abstract
Description
Technical Field
[0001] The invention relates to a spinning reel for fishing. Background Art
[0002] The spinning reel for fishing described in Patent Document 1 includes a reel body, a rotor, a pinion, and a waterproof member. The reel body includes a main body and a cylindrical portion. The cylindrical portion is provided on the main body.
[0003] The rotor includes a rotor body and a front wall. The rotor body is arranged radially outside the cylindrical portion. The front wall is provided on the rotor body. The front wall includes a wall portion arranged axially opposite to the cylindrical portion.
[0004] The pinion gear is engaged with the rotor to rotate the rotor. The pinion gear is arranged on the reel body in a manner to rotate around the spool shaft. The pinion gear is arranged radially inside the cylindrical portion of the reel body.
[0005] The waterproof member is attached to the cylindrical portion of the reel body at a position radially inward of the cylindrical portion of the reel body. The waterproof member is arranged between the cylindrical portion of the reel body and the pinion gear in the radial direction.
[0006] The tip of the waterproof component is formed in an annular shape and is embedded in the cap component disposed on the outer peripheral surface of the pinion gear. That is, the tip of the waterproof component contacts the outer peripheral surface of the cap component and pushes the cap component radially inward.
[0007] Patent Document 1: Japanese Patent Application Publication No. 2013-162761.
[0008] In conventional spinning fishing reels, the tip of the waterproof component is embedded in the outer peripheral surface of the cap component, so the tip of the waterproof component pushes the cap component radially inward, and the cap component pushes the pinion gear radially inward. That is, the waterproof component may restrict the rotation of the pinion gear via the cap component.
[0009] In addition, it is difficult to install the waterproof component on the cylindrical portion of the reel body in such a way that the center of the annular waterproof component is aligned with the rotation center of the pinion gear. Therefore, in the event that the center position of the waterproof component deviates, there is a possibility that the waterproof performance cannot be fully ensured. Therefore, in order to maintain the waterproof performance, the center position deviation of the waterproof component is generally anticipated during assembly, and the abutment amount between the cap component and the pinion gear is increased to maintain a margin. In this case, there is a possibility that the contact (amount of abutment) between the cap component and the pinion gear becomes larger, and the rotational resistance becomes larger. Summary of the invention
[0010] An object of the present invention is to provide a spinning reel for fishing, which can rotate a rotating structure with low torque and can stabilize waterproof performance.
[0011] According to a first aspect of the present invention, a spinning reel for fishing includes a reel body, a rotor, and a waterproof member. The reel body includes a main body and a cylindrical portion provided on the main body.
[0012] The rotor is configured to be rotatable relative to the reel body. The rotor has a rotor body and a wall portion. The rotor body is arranged radially outside the cylindrical portion. The wall portion is provided on the rotor body. The wall portion is arranged to face the cylindrical portion in the axial direction.
[0013] The waterproof member is arranged radially inward of the cylindrical portion. The waterproof member has a lubricant retaining portion for retaining a lubricant. The waterproof member is in contact with the wall portion.
[0014] In the spinning reel for fishing of the first embodiment, the wall of the rotor is arranged to face the cylindrical portion of the reel body in the axial direction. The waterproof component is arranged radially inward of the cylindrical portion of the reel body. In this state, the waterproof component contacts the wall of the rotor.
[0015] Thus, in the present spinning reel for fishing, it is not necessary to embed the waterproof component into the rotating structure such as the pinion gear, so the rotating structure can be rotated at a low torque. In addition, in the present spinning reel for fishing, it is not necessary to make the center of the waterproof component and the rotation center of the pinion gear accurately coincide with each other, so the waterproof performance can be stabilized. Furthermore, in the present spinning reel for fishing, the lubricant retaining portion of the waterproof component can improve the low torque of the rotating structure and the stabilization of the waterproof performance.
[0016] Regarding the second embodiment of the present invention, the spinning reel for fishing described in the first embodiment is constructed as follows. The waterproof component has a first protrusion and a second protrusion. The second protrusion is arranged radially inward of the first protrusion. The second protrusion contacts the wall portion. The lubricant retaining portion is arranged between the first protrusion and the second protrusion.
[0017] In the spinning reel for fishing according to the second aspect, the lubricant retaining portion is provided between the first convex portion and the second convex portion, so that the lubricant can be appropriately retained.
[0018] According to a third aspect of the present invention, the spinning reel for fishing described in the second aspect is configured as follows: At least one of the first protrusion and the second protrusion is in a lip shape that tapers toward the wall.
[0019] In the spinning fishing reel of the third aspect, since at least one of the first convex portion and the second convex portion is lip-shaped, the contact resistance of the waterproof member to the wall of the rotor can be reduced. That is, the rotating structure can be rotated with low torque.
[0020] According to a fourth aspect of the present invention, the spinning reel for fishing described in any one of the first to third aspects is configured as follows: The wall portion has a collar member with which the waterproof member contacts.
[0021] In the spinning reel for fishing of the fourth aspect, the waterproof member contacts the collar member of the wall portion, so the contact resistance of the waterproof member to the wall portion of the rotor can be reduced. That is, the rotating structure can be rotated with low torque. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[0031] like Figure 1As shown, the reel body 3 includes a main body 3a, a main body guard 3b, a side cover 3c, Figure 3 The cover portion 3d (an example of a cylindrical portion) is shown. The body guard 3b is mounted on the rear of the body portion 3a. The side cover 3c is mounted on the side of the body portion 3a. A space for accommodating various mechanisms described below is formed between the body portion 3a and the side cover 3c.
[0032] like Figure 3 As shown in FIG. 1 , the cover portion 3d is provided on the main body portion 3a. The cover portion 3d is fixed to the front portion of the main body portion 3a. The cover portion 3d is formed into a bottomed cylindrical shape. Figure 4 As shown, the cover portion 3d includes a first tube portion 3d1 and a bottom portion 3d2. The first tube portion 3d1 is formed in a tube shape.
[0033] like Figure 4 As shown, the first cylinder 3d1 is arranged at the front part of the main body 3a. The first cylinder 3d1 is arranged radially inwardly of the second cylinder 9a2 of the rotor 9. The bottom 3d2 is formed in an annular shape. The reel shaft 15 and the pinion gear 19 are inserted into the inner circumference of the bottom 3d2. The bottom 3d2 extends radially inwardly from the first cylinder 3d1. The bottom 3d2 is fixed to the main body 3a by a fixing member such as a screw member (not shown in the figure).
[0034] like Figure 1 As shown, the handle 5 is rotatably supported on the reel body 3. In this embodiment, an example in which the handle 5 is arranged on the left side of the reel body 3 is shown. The handle 5 may also be arranged on the right side of the reel body 3. Figure 2 The handle shaft 11 is shown.
[0035] like Figure 2 and Figure 3 As shown, the handle shaft 11 is rotatably supported by the reel body 3 . The drive gear 13 is mounted on the handle shaft 11 so as to be rotatable together with the handle shaft 11 . The drive gear 13 meshes with the pinion gear 19 .
[0036] Fishing line entangled Figure 1 The reel 7 shown. The reel 7 and Figure 2 The reel shaft 15 shown is connected. Specifically, as Figure 3 As shown, the spool 7 is connected to the spool shaft 15 via the drag mechanism 8. The spool 7 moves in the front-rear direction relative to the reel body 3 together with the spool shaft 15 by the swing mechanism 17.
[0037] like Figure 2 and Figure 3As shown, the spool shaft 15 is supported so as to be movable in the front-rear direction relative to the reel body 3. The spool shaft 15 is inserted into the inner circumference of the cylindrical pinion gear 19. The spool shaft 15 reciprocates in the front-rear direction relative to the reel body 3 by the operation of the swing mechanism 17.
[0038] like Figure 3 As shown, the spool shaft 15 has a spool axis X1. The spool axis X1 is concentric with the rotation center axis of the spool 7, the rotation center axis of the rotor 9, and the pinion 19. The front-to-back direction is the direction in which the spool axis X1 extends. In this embodiment, the front is the direction in which the fishing line is released, for example Figure 1 The rear is the side opposite to the front, for example Figure 1 The axial direction is the direction in which the roll axis X1 extends. The radial direction is the direction away from the roll axis X1. The circumferential direction and the rotational direction are the directions around the roll axis X1.
[0039] like Figure 2 and Figure 3 As shown, the swing mechanism 17 moves the spool shaft 15 in the front-rear direction in conjunction with the rotation of the handle shaft 11. The swing mechanism 17 is disposed in the internal space of the reel body 3. The swing mechanism 17 includes a worm shaft 23, a slider 24, and a worm shaft gear 27.
[0040] Figure 3 The worm shaft 23 shown rotates in order to move the spool shaft 15 and the slider 24 in the front-rear direction. The worm shaft 23 is arranged parallel to the spool shaft 15. The worm shaft 23 is rotatably supported by the reel body 3.
[0041] The slider 24 is mounted on the reel shaft 15. For example, the slider 24 is fixed to the rear end of the reel shaft 15. The slider 24 moves in the front-rear direction by the rotation of the worm shaft 23. The worm shaft gear 27 is arranged at the front part of the worm shaft 23. The worm shaft gear 27 is supported to be rotatable relative to the worm shaft 23.
[0042] like Figure 3 As shown, the pinion gear 19 is formed in a cylindrical shape. The pinion gear 19 is rotatably supported by the reel body 3. The pinion gear 19 is arranged radially outward of the spool shaft 15. The pinion gear 19 rotates relative to the spool shaft 15. The pinion gear 19 rotates around the spool axis X1.
[0043] The outer peripheral surface of the front portion of the pinion 19 is formed into a non-circular shape. Specifically, the outer peripheral surface of the front portion of the pinion 19 is formed into an oblong shape including a pair of parallel surfaces and a pair of arcs. The front portion of the pinion 19, for example, an oblong portion, is a portion from the front end of the pinion 19 to the front surface of the bearing 22.
[0044] like Figure 3As shown, the speed reduction mechanism 21 is disposed between the pinion gear 19 and the swing mechanism 17. For example, the speed reduction mechanism 21 is disposed between the pinion gear 19 and the worm shaft gear 27. The speed reduction mechanism 21 is composed of a plurality of gears. The speed reduction mechanism 21 reduces the rotation speed of the pinion gear 19 and transmits it to the swing mechanism 17.
[0045] When the handle shaft 11 rotates by the rotation operation of the handle 5, the drive gear 13 rotates. The rotation of the drive gear 13 is transmitted to the pinion gear 19. The rotation of the pinion gear 19 is transmitted to the worm shaft gear 27 via the speed reduction mechanism 21. The slider 24 and the spool shaft 15 move in the front-rear direction by the rotation of the worm shaft 23.
[0046] Figure 1 and Figure 2 The rotor 9 shown is used to wind the fishing line onto the spool 7. The rotor 9 is configured to be rotatable relative to the reel body 3. Specifically, the rotor 9 is disposed at the front portion of the reel body 3.
[0047] like Figure 3 As shown, the rotor 9 is arranged radially outward from the pinion 19. The rotor 9 is connected to the pinion 19 so as to rotate integrally with the pinion 19. When the handle shaft 11 rotates by the rotation operation of the handle 5, the drive gear 13 rotates. The rotation of the drive gear 13 is transmitted to the pinion 19. The rotor 9 rotates in conjunction with the rotation of the pinion 19.
[0048] like Figure 3 and Figure 4 As shown, the rotor 9 includes a rotor body 9a, a front wall 9b (an example of a wall portion), a retainer 9c, and a rotor nut 9d. The rotor body 9a is arranged radially outside the cover portion 3d.
[0049] The rotor body 9a includes a pair of arm parts 9a1 and a second tube part 9a2. The pair of arm parts 9a1 are respectively composed of an arm body formed integrally with the second tube part 9a2 and extending forward from the rear end of the second tube part 9a2, and a shielding arm provided at the distal end of the arm body.
[0050] like Figure 4 As shown, the second barrel 9a2 is formed in a cylindrical shape. The second barrel 9a2 is arranged to face the front part of the main body 3a of the reel body 3 in the axial direction. The second barrel 9a2 is arranged radially outward of the cover 3d of the reel body 3. In detail, the second barrel 9a2 is arranged radially outward of the first barrel 3d1 of the cover 3d of the reel body 3.
[0051] like Figure 4As shown, the front wall 9b is provided on the rotor body 9a. The front wall 9b is arranged to face the cover portion 3d in the axial direction. In detail, the front wall 9b has a wall body 9b1, a support portion 9b2, and a rotor collar 9b3. The wall body 9b1 is formed in an annular shape. The wall body 9b1 extends radially inward from the second cylinder portion 9a2. The wall body 9b1 is arranged in front of the bottom 3d2 of the cover portion 3d.
[0052] The support portion 9b2 supports the rotor collar 9b3. The support portion 9b2 protrudes axially from the inner circumference of the front wall 9b. In detail, the support portion 9b2 protrudes rearward from the inner circumference of the front wall 9b toward the main body 3a of the reel body 3. The support portion 9b2 is arranged in the front part of the pinion 19. The support portion 9b2 engages with the outer circumferential surface of the front part of the pinion 19 by non-circular engagement.
[0053] The rotor collar 9b3 is formed in an annular shape. The rotor collar 9b3 extends in the circumferential direction along the rear surface of the wall body 9b1, the upper surface of the support portion 9b2, and the rear surface of the support portion 9b2. The rotor collar 9b3 is clamped by the support portion 9b2 and the one-way clutch 26. The rotor collar 9b3 is preferably formed of metal. The first waterproof member 25 contacts the rotor collar 9b3.
[0054] like Figure 4 As shown, the retainer 9c is fixed to the front wall 9b of the rotor 9 by means of a fixing member 20 such as a screw member. The retainer 9c holds the rotor nut 9d so as to rotate integrally with the rotor nut 9d. The rotor nut 9d meshes with the pinion 19 and rotates integrally with the pinion 19. Therefore, when the pinion 19 rotates, the rotor body 9a and the front wall 9b rotate integrally with the pinion 19 via the retainer 9c and the rotor nut 9d.
[0055] like Figure 4 As shown, the first waterproof member 25 is in contact with the front wall 9b, for example, the rotor collar 9b3. The first waterproof member 25 is arranged radially inward of the cover portion 3d. In detail, the first waterproof member 25 is arranged radially inward of the first cylinder portion 3d1 of the cover portion 3d. The first waterproof member 25 is clamped by the bottom 3d2 of the cover portion 3d and the front portion of the main body 3a of the reel body 3 via the one-way clutch 26. The first waterproof member 25 is preferably formed of a synthetic resin.
[0056] The one-way clutch 26 is used to allow or prohibit the reverse rotation of the rotor 9. The one-way clutch 26 is arranged between the first cylinder portion 3d1 of the cover portion 3d and the pinion 19 in the radial direction. The one-way clutch 26 is arranged between the bottom 3d2 of the cover portion 3d and the front portion of the main body portion 3a in the axial direction. The one-way clutch 26 is fixed to the front portion of the main body portion 3a by a fixing member such as a screw member (not shown in the figure).
[0057] like Figure 5 and Figure 6 As shown, the first waterproof component 25 includes a first component body 25a, a held portion 25b, a first convex portion 25c, a second convex portion 25d, and a lubricant holding portion 25e. The first component body 25a is formed in an annular shape. The held portion 25b forms the outer periphery of the first component body 25a. The held portion 25b is clamped by the one-way clutch 26 and the bottom 3d2 of the cover portion 3d. In detail, the held portion 25b is clamped by the sealing component 26a of the one-way clutch 26 and the bottom 3d2 of the cover portion 3d.
[0058] The first protrusion 25c is formed in an annular shape. The first protrusion 25c is provided on the first component body 25a. In detail, the first protrusion 25c is provided on the radially inner side than the held portion 25b. In more detail, the first protrusion 25c protrudes from the first component body 25a on the radially inner side compared to the held portion 25b. A gap is formed between the terminal end of the first component body 25a and the rotor collar 9b3 of the front wall 9b.
[0059] The second protrusion 25d is formed in an annular shape. The second protrusion 25d is provided on the first component body 25a. In detail, the second protrusion 25d is provided on the radially inner side than the first protrusion 25c. In more detail, the second protrusion 25d protrudes from the first component body 25a on the radially inner side compared with the first protrusion 25c. The second protrusion 25d is formed in a lip shape that tapers from the base end portion to the distal end portion. The distal end portion of the second protrusion 25d contacts the rotor collar 9b3 of the front wall 9b.
[0060] In the present embodiment, the case where only the tip of the second protrusion 25d contacts the front wall 9b (rotor collar 9b3) is exemplified, but both the tip of the second protrusion 25d and the tip of the first protrusion 25c may contact the front wall 9b (rotor collar 9b3). In addition, only the tip of the first protrusion 25c may contact the front wall 9b (rotor collar 9b3).
[0061] like Figure 5 and Figure 6 As shown in FIG. 2 , the lubricant retaining portion 25e is configured to retain the lubricant G. The lubricant retaining portion 25e is provided between the first convex portion 25c and the second convex portion 25d. Figure 6 As shown, the lubricant retaining portion 25e is formed by the inner peripheral surface 25c1 of the first convex portion 25c, the outer peripheral surface 25d1 of the second convex portion 25d, and the outer surface 25a1 of the first member body 25a.
[0062] The lubricant G is retained by the space of the lubricant retaining portion 25e. The lubricant G includes grease. The lubricant G preferably contacts the rotor collar 9b3 of the front wall 9b while being retained by the lubricant retaining portion 25e.
[0063] like Figure 4As shown, the positioning member 29 is used to position the spool 7 in the axial direction relative to the spool shaft 15. The positioning member 29 is arranged on the outer peripheral surface of the spool shaft 15. The positioning member 29 is formed in an annular shape.
[0064] In the present embodiment, the outer peripheral surface of the front portion of the spool shaft 15 is formed in a non-circular shape. Specifically, the outer peripheral surface of the front portion of the spool shaft 15 is formed in an oblong shape including a pair of parallel surfaces and a pair of arcs. The front portion of the spool shaft 15, for example, the oblong portion, is a portion from the front end of the spool shaft 15 to the position between the spool 7 and the rotor 9 (retainer 9c).
[0065] The positioning member 29 is formed in an annular shape. The inner peripheral surface of the positioning member 29 is engaged in a non-circular shape. Specifically, the inner peripheral surface of the positioning member 29 is formed in an oblong shape including a pair of parallel surfaces and a pair of arcs. A recess 29a extending along the inner peripheral surface is formed on the inner peripheral surface of the positioning member 29.
[0066] The inner circumference of the positioning member 29 is engaged with the outer circumference of the reel shaft 15 by a non-circular engagement. The positioning member 29 is arranged at the rear end 15a of the front portion (the oblong portion) of the reel shaft 15. The rear end 15a of the front portion of the reel shaft 15 forms an annular step at a position between the reel 7 and the rotor 9 (retainer 9c). In this way, by arranging the positioning member 29 on the reel shaft 15, the positioning member 29 is engaged in a manner that cannot rotate relative to the reel shaft 15 and cannot move backward relative to the reel shaft 15.
[0067] like Figure 4 As shown, the drag mechanism 8 includes a plurality of friction members 8a, 8b, 8c. The inner circumferences of the plurality of friction members 8a, 8b, 8c are engaged with the outer circumference of the spool shaft 15 by non-circular engagement like the positioning member 29. The plurality of friction members 8a, 8b, 8c are arranged between the spool 7 and the positioning member 29 in the axial direction.
[0068] like Figure 4 As shown, the second waterproof component 31 includes an O-ring. The second waterproof component 31 contacts the outer peripheral surface of the reel shaft 15 and the rear surface of the friction component 8c. The second waterproof component 31 is arranged between the outer peripheral surface of the reel shaft 15 and the radial direction of the positioning component 29. In detail, the second waterproof component 31 is arranged between the outer peripheral surface of the reel shaft 15 and the radial direction of the recessed portion 29a of the positioning component 29. In this state, the second waterproof component 31 contacts the outer peripheral surface of the reel shaft 15.
[0069] The second waterproof member 31 is disposed between the rear surface of the friction member 8c and the front surface of the positioning member 29 in the axial direction. Specifically, the second waterproof member 31 is disposed between the rear surface of the friction member 8c and the recessed portion 29a of the positioning member 29 in the axial direction. In this state, the second waterproof member 31 is in contact with the rear surface of the friction member 8c.
[0070] The above-mentioned spinning reel 1 for fishing has the following features. In the spinning reel 1 for fishing, since it is not necessary to embed the first waterproof member 25 into the pinion 19, the pinion 19 and the rotating member that operates in conjunction with the pinion 19 can be rotated at a low torque. Hereinafter, the pinion 19 and the rotating member that operates in conjunction with the pinion 19 are referred to as a rotating structure.
[0071] In addition, in the present spinning reel 1 for fishing, the first waterproof member 25 is in contact with the front wall 9b disposed in front of the first waterproof member 25. That is, it is not necessary to precisely match the center of the first waterproof member 25 with the rotation center X1 of the pinion gear 19, so that the waterproof performance can be stabilized. Furthermore, in the present spinning reel 1 for fishing, the lubricant retaining portion 25e of the first waterproof member 25 can improve the low torque of the rotating structure and the stabilization of the waterproof performance.
[0072] In the spinning reel 1 for fishing, the lubricant G can be appropriately retained by providing the lubricant retaining portion 25e between the first convex portion 25c and the second convex portion 25d.
[0073] In the spinning reel 1 for fishing, at least one of the first protrusion 25c and the second protrusion 25d is a lip shape that tapers toward the front wall 9b, so that the contact resistance of the first waterproof member 25 to the front wall 9b of the rotor 9 can be reduced. That is, the rotating structure can be rotated with low torque.
[0074] In the spinning reel 1 for fishing, the first waterproof member 25 contacts the rotor collar 9b3 of the front wall 9b, so that the contact resistance of the first waterproof member 25 to the front wall 9b of the rotor 9 can be reduced. That is, the rotating structure can be rotated with low torque.
[0075] In the spinning reel 1 for fishing, the second waterproof member 31 is arranged in the recessed portion 29a of the positioning member 29 and contacts the outer peripheral surface of the spool shaft 15 and the rear surface of the friction member 8c, so that water can be prevented from entering the interior of the spool 7 from the rear surface of the positioning member 29.
