Description

Technical Field

[0001] This invention relates to the field of jacquard fabric technology, specifically to a functional plant fiber jacquard fabric and its manufacturing process. Background Technology

[0002] In recent years, with the improvement of people's living standards, people's demand for fabrics has gradually increased, and jacquard fabrics have gradually come into people's view. Jacquard fabric is a fabric that forms patterns through changes in warp and weft weave. It has the advantages of exquisite patterns, good breathability, and high color fastness. It is often used in high-end clothing, shoes, hats, home decorations and other fields.

[0003] In the context of rapid economic and technological development, consumer demand for jacquard fabrics is becoming increasingly diversified, and the functionality of jacquard fabrics is receiving more and more attention. Ordinary jacquard fabrics suffer from poor antibacterial properties. Due to their large specific surface area and hygroscopicity, jacquard fabrics easily become a good medium for the growth and reproduction of bacteria, fungi, and other microorganisms. Especially under suitable temperature, relative humidity, and the nourishment of human secretions such as sweat, microorganisms will multiply rapidly, leading to the formation of bacterial spots on the fabric, which in turn causes problems such as mildew, brittleness, and even deterioration. Furthermore, the decomposition of fabrics by bacteria not only leads to the generation of odors but may also cause health problems such as skin infections and allergies, greatly limiting the application and development of jacquard fabrics. Therefore, further improving the antibacterial properties of jacquard fabrics has become a hot research topic in the fabric field.

[0004] Patent CN104264444B discloses a health-promoting bamboo fiber fabric. This invention involves electrostatically spraying an antibacterial solution onto the surface of bamboo fibers, followed by microwave treatment, dyeing, yarn spinning, jacquard weaving, and printing. The resulting antibacterial solution is environmentally friendly and not only enhances the antibacterial and bactericidal capabilities of the bamboo fibers while improving their stability and dispersibility, but also prevents detachment while providing greater adhesion to the fabric, increasing its bactericidal properties. Furthermore, the jacquard weaving quality is stable and of high grade. Therefore, by selectively adding optimized components, additives with excellent antibacterial properties can be prepared to modify jacquard fabrics, resulting in antibacterial jacquard fabrics. Summary of the Invention

[0005] In order to solve the problems mentioned in the background art, the purpose of this invention is to provide a functional plant fiber jacquard fabric and its manufacturing process.

[0006] The objective of this invention can be achieved through the following technical solutions:

[0007] A manufacturing process for a functional plant fiber jacquard fabric, wherein the jacquard fabric is made from antibacterial polyester fiber and bamboo fiber through a weaving process; the antibacterial polyester fiber comprises the following raw materials in parts by weight: 40-50 parts polyester chips, 4-8 parts antibacterial modifying components, 1-3 parts lubricant, and 1-2 parts dispersant.

[0008] The manufacturing process includes the following steps:

[0009] S1: Add polyester chips, antibacterial modifier, lubricant and dispersant to a mixer, stir and mix evenly to obtain a mixture, then pour the mixture into a twin-screw extruder and extrude and granulate at a temperature of 200-220℃ to obtain masterbatch;

[0010] S2: The masterbatch obtained in step S1 is placed in a melt spinning machine for melt spinning to obtain nascent polyester fibers, which are then processed through winding, forming, bundle stretching and heat setting to obtain antibacterial polyester fibers.

[0011] S3: Antibacterial polyester fiber and bamboo fiber are spun into filaments by a spinning machine and then networked together to obtain a blended yarn, wherein the blended yarn of 45D to 55D / 36F is used as the warp yarn and the blended yarn of 95D to 105D / 36F is used as the weft yarn.

[0012] S4: The warp yarns are sequentially wound, double-twisted, moisturized and set, warped, and threaded onto heddles. During the double-twisting of the warp yarns, 8 to 12 twists are added per centimeter on the double-twisting machine, and the warping speed is 150 to 250 r / min, resulting in warp yarns after threading onto heddles. The weft yarns are sequentially wound, double-twisted, moisturized and set, and rolled back. During the double-twisting of the weft yarns, 4 to 6 twists are added per centimeter on the double-twisting machine, resulting in weft yarns after rolling back.

[0013] S5: Design the pattern, weave it using a large jacquard weaving machine, and then dye, dehydrate, and dry the woven fabric to obtain the jacquard fabric.

[0014] Furthermore, the preparation method of the antibacterial modified component includes the following steps:

[0015] Step 1: Add dimethyl diallyl ammonium chloride and dimethyl sulfoxide solution to a nitrogen-protected reaction vessel, stir evenly, and then add 2,3-dimercaptosuccinic acid and photoinitiator to the vessel. Mix well, place the system under a UV lamp and irradiate for 4-8 hours. After removing the solvent by vacuum distillation, the modified quaternary ammonium salt polymer is obtained.

[0016] Step II: Add the modified quaternary ammonium salt polymer to the ethanol aqueous solution and stir evenly. Then add the zinc salt to the system. After the addition is complete, turn on the heating. When the system temperature reaches 50-60℃, mechanically stir for 10-20 hours. Filter the solid material under reduced pressure to obtain the intermediate material.

[0017] Step III: Disperse porous vermiculite in deionized water, add intermediate materials, and sonicate at room temperature for 5-7 hours. Filter to separate the solid material, wash the solid material, and vacuum dry to obtain the antibacterial modified component.

[0018] Further, in step I, the photoinitiator is any one of benzoin ethyl ether, benzoin isopropyl ether, or benzoin dimethyl ether.

[0019] Furthermore, in step II, the zinc salt is any one of zinc chloride, zinc sulfate, or zinc nitrate.

[0020] Furthermore, in step II, the mass ratio of the modified quaternary ammonium salt polymer to the zinc salt is 1:0.2 to 0.3.

[0021] Furthermore, in step II, the volume fraction of the ethanol-water solution is 30-70%.

[0022] Furthermore, in step III, the average particle size of the porous vermiculite is 4 μm.

[0023] Furthermore, in step III, the ultrasonic frequency of the ultrasonic treatment is 40–50 kHz.

[0024] Furthermore, the lubricant is either polyethylene wax or paraffin wax; the dispersant is either sodium dodecylbenzenesulfonate or polyethylene glycol.

[0025] A functional plant fiber jacquard fabric is made using the above-mentioned manufacturing process.

[0026] The beneficial effects of this invention are:

[0027] (1) This invention obtains antibacterial polyester fiber by adding antibacterial modified components during the preparation of polyester fiber, and combines it with bamboo fiber to make jacquard fabric through weaving process. The antibacterial rate of the jacquard fabric is up to 99.7%, and the antibacterial rate after 50 washes is up to 95.1%. It has excellent antibacterial properties, effectively extends the service life of jacquard fabric, and enhances the market competitiveness of fabric.

[0028] (2) This invention modifies the antibacterial properties of jacquard fabric by preparing antibacterial modified components. On the one hand, during the long-term use of jacquard fabric, the antibacterial modified components can continuously release intermediate materials stored in the pores to achieve a slow-release antibacterial effect, thereby giving the prepared jacquard fabric a long-lasting antibacterial effect. On the other hand, the antibacterial modified components contain a large amount of quaternary ammonium salts and zinc ions, which can form an organic-inorganic dual synergistic antibacterial effect. With a small amount of addition, the antibacterial properties of jacquard fabric can be effectively improved, avoiding the formation of fungal spots on the fabric due to microbial growth, resulting in problems such as mildew, odor, brittleness, or even deterioration. This extends the service life of the fabric, meets consumers' requirements for high-quality jacquard fabric, and can better meet market demand and enhance market competitiveness.

[0029] Of course, any product implementing this invention does not necessarily need to achieve all of the advantages described above at the same time. Attached Figure Description

[0032] The technical solutions of the embodiments of the present invention will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the accompanying drawings. Obviously, the described embodiments are only some embodiments of the present invention, and not all embodiments. Based on the embodiments of the present invention, all other embodiments obtained by those skilled in the art without creative effort are within the scope of protection of the present invention.

[0033] Example 1

[0034] I. Preparation of Antibacterial Modifying Components

[0035] Step 1: Add 5g of dimethyl diallyl ammonium chloride and dimethyl sulfoxide solution to a nitrogen-protected reaction vessel, stir until homogeneous, then add 2.8g of 2,3-dimercaptosuccinic acid and 0.1g of benzoin dimethyl ether to the vessel, mix well, place the system under a 365nm ultraviolet lamp for 6h, remove the solvent by vacuum distillation, and obtain the modified quaternary ammonium salt polymer;

[0036] Infrared spectral analysis of the modified quaternary ammonium salt polymer was performed using a Bruker TENSOR 27 Fourier transform infrared spectrometer, such as... Figure 1 As shown, by Figure 1 It can be seen that in the infrared spectrum of the modified quaternary ammonium salt polymer, 1740 cm⁻¹ -1 An absorption peak for the carboxyl group C=O appears at 1375 cm⁻¹. -1 An absorption peak for CN in quaternary ammonium salts appears at 1195 cm⁻¹. -1 A CSC absorption peak appears at [location].

[0037] Step II: Add 5g of modified quaternary ammonium salt polymer to a 60% (v / v) ethanol aqueous solution and stir until homogeneous. Then add 1.2g of zinc nitrate to the system. After the addition is complete, turn on the heating and wait until the system temperature reaches 55℃. Stir mechanically for 15 hours and filter out the solid material under reduced pressure to obtain the intermediate material.

[0038] Step III: Disperse 4g of porous vermiculite with an average particle size of 4μm in deionized water, add 3.4g of intermediate material, and sonicate at a frequency of 45kHz for 6h at room temperature. Filter to separate the solid material, wash the solid material, and vacuum dry to obtain the antibacterial modified component.

[0039] Technical Principle: In the antibacterial modified component, firstly, under the action of benzoin dimethyl ether and ultraviolet light irradiation, the unsaturated alkenyl functional groups in the dimethyl diallyl ammonium chloride structure can undergo continuous click-catalytic reactions with the thiol groups in the 2,3-dimercaptosuccinic acid structure, causing the molecular chain to extend continuously, ultimately forming a polymer containing a large number of quaternary ammonium salts and carboxyl groups, i.e., a modified quaternary ammonium salt polymer; secondly, the carboxyl groups in the modified quaternary ammonium salt polymer structure can produce a highly efficient complexation effect on zinc ions, from... Zinc ions are stably immobilized in the structure of a modified quaternary ammonium salt polymer to obtain an intermediate material. Then, in an aqueous solution, porous vermiculite exhibits negative charge, while the intermediate material contains a large number of quaternary ammonium cations, exhibiting positive charge. Therefore, there is an electrostatic adsorption effect between them. At the same time, under the action of ultrasound, the intermediate material flows into the pores of porous vermiculite. Thus, under the dual effects of electrostatic and ultrasonic action, the intermediate material will be densely concentrated on the surface and pores of porous vermiculite, resulting in an antibacterial modified component.

[0042] S2: The masterbatch obtained in step S1 is placed in a melt spinning machine for melt spinning. The spinning temperature is controlled at 260℃ and the spinning speed is 500m / min to obtain nascent polyester fibers. Then, through winding, forming, bundle stretching and heat setting processes, antibacterial polyester fibers are obtained.

[0043] S3: Antibacterial polyester fiber and bamboo fiber are spun into filaments by a spinning machine and then networked to obtain a blended yarn. The blending ratio is 55 / 45, with 45D / 36F blended yarn as warp and 95D / 36F blended yarn as weft.

[0044] S4: The warp yarns are sequentially wound, double-twisted, moisturized and set, warped, and threaded onto heddles. [0090] Performance testing

[0091] The jacquard fabrics prepared in Examples 1-3 and Comparative Examples 1-4 of this invention were made into samples that met the specifications. Antimicrobial properties of the unwashed samples and samples after 50 washes were tested according to GB / T 20944.3-2008 "Evaluation of antimicrobial properties of textiles - Part 3: Shaking method". The test bacteria was Escherichia coli. The washing method was performed according to the washing fastness tester method in GB / T 20944.3-2008. Specific test results are shown in Table 1.

[0092] Table 1 - Performance Testing

[0093]

[0094] As shown in Table 1, the jacquard fabrics prepared in Examples 1 to 3 have high antibacterial rates and excellent antibacterial properties. Furthermore, the antibacterial rate decreased only slightly after 50 washes, presumably because the added antibacterial modifiers have good antibacterial effects and sustained-release properties. The jacquard fabrics prepared in Comparative Examples 1 and 2 only contained modified quaternary ammonium salt polymers and zinc nitrate, respectively. The antibacterial properties of these samples were only moderate, presumably because they could not achieve the synergistic antibacterial effect of organic and inorganic compounds, leading to a decrease in antibacterial performance. The antibacterial rate of the sample decreased significantly after 50 washes. The jacquard fabric prepared in Comparative Example 3 contained intermediate materials and porous vermiculite, resulting in a high antibacterial rate and excellent antibacterial properties. However, the antibacterial rate of the sample decreased after 50 washes, presumably because the intermediate materials and porous vermiculite were not treated together, thus failing to exert a slow-release antibacterial effect, leading to a decrease in antibacterial performance after 50 washes. The jacquard fabric prepared in Comparative Example 4 did not contain any antibacterial modifying components, so all properties of this sample were the worst.

[0095] The above description is merely an example and illustration of the concept of the present invention. Those skilled in the art can make various modifications or additions to the specific embodiments described or use similar methods to replace them, as long as they do not deviate from the concept of the invention or exceed the scope defined in the claims, they should all fall within the protection scope of the present invention.
