Abstract

The invention provides a server fault positioning method and device, equipment and a storage medium, and the method comprises the steps: switching a current first fault grabbing mode into a second fault grabbing mode through a switching command if the current first fault grabbing mode is detected to reach a switching condition; wherein the first fault grabbing mode is a fault grabbing mode based on a BIOS, and the second fault grabbing mode is a fault grabbing mode based on a BMC; or, the first fault grabbing mode is a BMC-based fault grabbing mode, and the second fault grabbing mode is a BIOS-based fault grabbing mode; and capturing fault information in the to-be-detected server through the switched second fault capturing mode, and carrying out fault positioning based on the fault information. According to the technical scheme provided by the invention, the fault information is captured by switching different fault capturing modes, so that the capturing accuracy of the fault information is improved, meanwhile, the fault positioning accuracy is improved, and the influence on the operation and maintenance use of operation and maintenance personnel is avoided.
