Description

Technical Field

[0001] The present invention relates to an oil-in-water emulsified cosmetic. More specifically, it relates to an oil-in-water emulsified cosmetic that has a high penetration feeling like an emulsion, has a thick feeling like a cream (a thick feeling or texture when applied to the skin), and gives a moist touch to the skin after application. Background Art

[0002] In skin care cosmetics, the feeling of use is an important factor. In particular, emulsions have the characteristics of being smooth and easy to spread on the skin when applied, having high penetration into the skin, and having a non-sticky and dry feeling on the skin. On the other hand, many consumers also expect a rich feeling or texture when used. In other words, it is required to realize an oil-in-water emulsified cosmetic that maintains the lightness of spreading and excellent penetration of emulsions, and has a thick feeling during application and a moist feeling after application like a cream.

[0003] Therefore, for example, it is considered that the viscosity of the emulsion can be increased by adding a certain amount of higher alcohol to improve the thick feeling and moist feeling. However, if a large amount of higher alcohol is added, it will spread more when applied to the skin, and there is a tendency to impair the penetration of the emulsion.

[0004] In addition, skin care cosmetics such as emulsions are often provided to consumers in containers such as plug bottles, dispensers, and pouches. In order to ensure the way the cosmetics come out of the container and the stability of the preparation, it is important to control the viscosity of the cosmetics to be appropriate. However, although cosmetics that have been blended with a certain amount of higher alcohols to increase viscosity have good stability at high temperatures, they sometimes lose fluidity at low temperatures, making it difficult to take out of the container and difficult to handle.

[0005] As another attempt to impart a thick feeling to oil-in-water emulsified cosmetics, a combination of two thickeners, acrylamide thickener and hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, has been proposed (Patent Document 1). However, in addition to insufficient improvement in the thick feeling, it was also confirmed that the penetration feeling was impaired.

[0008] Patent Document 1: Japanese Patent Application Publication No. 2019-89741 Summary of the invention

[0009] Problem that the invention aims to solve

[0010] An object of the present invention is to provide an oil-in-water emulsified cosmetic having excellent properties unique to the present invention that have never been seen before, which has a high penetration feeling like an emulsion, has a thick feeling like a cream when applied to the skin, and gives a moist touch to the skin after application.

[0011] Solutions for solving problems

[0012] The present inventors have conducted intensive studies to solve the above-mentioned problems and, as a result, have found that by blending higher fatty acids, water-soluble polysaccharides of a specific molecular weight, silica, and a specified amount of higher alcohols, an oil-in-water emulsified cosmetic having the targeted penetration feeling, rich feeling, and moist feeling, and also excellent fluidity at low temperatures and stability at high temperatures can be obtained, thereby completing the present invention.

[0013] That is, the present invention provides an oil-in-water emulsified cosmetic comprising:

[0014] (A) Higher fatty acids,

[0015] (B) water-soluble polysaccharides with a molecular weight of 2.5 million or more,

[0016] (C) silica, and

[0017] (D) higher alcohols,

[0018] (D) The amount of the higher alcohol blended is less than 0.95% by mass based on the total amount of the oil-in-water emulsified cosmetic.

[0019] Effects of the Invention

[0020] The oil-in-water emulsified cosmetic of the present invention has the above-mentioned configuration, and has a high penetration feeling like an emulsion, and has a thick feeling like a cream when applied to the skin, and can give a moist touch feeling to the skin after application.

[0021] In addition, since the fluidity at low temperatures and the stability at high temperatures are excellent, there is also an effect that the stability of the preparation during storage and the ease of taking out from the container are not easily affected by the temperature. DETAILED DESCRIPTION

[0022] The oil-in-water emulsified cosmetic of the present invention is characterized by comprising (A) a higher fatty acid, (B) a water-soluble polysaccharide having a molecular weight of 2.5 million or more, (C) silica, and (D) a higher alcohol, wherein the higher alcohol (D) is contained in a specific amount. The oil-in-water emulsified cosmetic of the present invention is described in detail below.

[0023] <(A) Higher fatty acids>

[0024] (A) Higher fatty acids are higher fatty acids generally used in cosmetics and are represented by the general formula R1COOH, wherein R1 is preferably a linear or branched saturated or unsaturated hydrocarbon group having 16 to 22 carbon atoms.

[0025] Specific examples of the (A) higher fatty acid include palmitic acid, stearic acid, oleic acid, linoleic acid, linolenic acid, arachidonic acid, eicosapentaenoic acid, docosahexaenoic acid, behenic acid, elaidic acid, ricinoleic acid, and isostearic acid.

[0026] The amount of the higher fatty acid (A) is preferably 0.1% by mass or more, more preferably 0.3% by mass or more, and preferably 2.0% by mass or less, more preferably 1.5% by mass or less, relative to the total amount of the oil-in-water emulsified cosmetic. Therefore, examples of the amount range include 0.1 to 2.0% by mass, 0.3 to 1.5% by mass, and the like.

[0027] <(B) Water-soluble polysaccharides>

[0028] (B) Water-soluble polysaccharides are water-soluble polysaccharides having a basic skeleton of polysaccharides or derivatives thereof and having a molecular weight of 2.5 million or more. Here, the molecular weight of (B) water-soluble polysaccharides refers to a weight average molecular weight, which can be measured, for example, by GPC (gel permeation chromatography).

[0029] The molecular weight of the water-soluble polysaccharide (B) is 2.5 million or more, more preferably 5 million or more, and even more preferably 6 million or more. The upper limit of the molecular weight of the water-soluble polysaccharide (B) is not particularly limited, but is usually preferably 20 million or less, more preferably 10 million or less, and even more preferably 7.5 million or less.

[0030] (B) Water-soluble polysaccharides include, for example, hyaluronic acid or its salt, acetylated hyaluronic acid or its salt, xanthan gum, succinoglycan, gellan gum, pectin, alginate, propylene glycol alginate, hydroxyethyl cellulose, hydroxypropyl cellulose, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, etc. Among them, water-soluble polysaccharides derived from microorganisms such as xanthan gum, succinoglycan, and gellan gum are preferred, and in particular, any one or both of xanthan gum and succinoglycan are preferably included from the aspects of excellent salt resistance and stability when used in combination with various drugs.

[0031] Preferred commercial products of (B) water-soluble polysaccharides include, for example, Rheozan (registered trademark) (succinoglycan; molecular weight 6 million, Solvay Nikka Co., Ltd.), NOMCORT ZZ (xanthan gum; molecular weight 20 million, Nissin Oillio Group Ltd.), and the like.

[0032] The amount of the water-soluble polysaccharide (B) is preferably 0.01% by mass or more, more preferably 0.05% by mass or more, and preferably 0.50% by mass or less, more preferably 0.30% by mass or less, relative to the total amount of the oil-in-water emulsified cosmetic. Therefore, examples of the amount range include 0.01 to 0.50% by mass, 0.05 to 0.30% by mass, and the like.

[0033] <(C) Silica>

[0034] (C) Silica The silica generally used in cosmetics can be used, and any of porous, non-porous, and hollow silica can be used.

[0035] The oil absorption of the silica (C) is preferably 40 ml / 100 g or more, more preferably 100 ml / 100 g or more. By adding silica having an oil absorption of 40 ml / 100 g or more, the thick feeling, penetration feeling and moist feeling can be further improved.

[0036] The "oil absorption" in this specification refers to a value measured in accordance with JIS K 5101-13:2004 (refined linseed oil method).

[0037] Specifically, it can be obtained by the following method.

[0038] First, collect 1.5 g of spherical silicic anhydride as a sample on a medicine packaging paper and transfer it to a glass measuring plate. Next, add refined linseed oil (oil specified in JIS K 5101) from a burette to the sample in the form of 4 or 5 drops at a time, and knead the whole thoroughly with a palette knife each time. Repeat this dropping and kneading. If the whole becomes a hard putty-like mass, knead it drop by drop. The moment when the last drop can be wound into a spiral shape with a palette knife is taken as the end point. Calculate the oil absorption per 100 g of sample using the following formula. Oil absorption (ml / 100g) = (A / W) × 100 (A represents the amount of refined linseed oil added (mL), and W represents the amount of sample collected (g))

[0039] Preferred commercially available products of (C) silica include, for example, SUNSPHERE L-51 (oil absorption 150 ml / 100 g, AGC Si-Tech Co., Ltd.), SUNSPHERE H-52 (oil absorption 300 ml / 100 g, AGC Si-Tech Co., Ltd.), and BA4 (oil absorption 40 mL / 100 g, JGC Catalysts & Chemicals Co., Ltd.).

[0040] The amount of silica (C) is preferably 0.01% by mass or more, more preferably 0.05% by mass or more, and preferably 3.0% by mass or less, more preferably 1.0% by mass or less, relative to the total amount of the oil-in-water emulsified cosmetic. Therefore, examples of the amount range include 0.01 to 3.0% by mass, 0.05 to 1.0% by mass, and the like.

[0041] <(D) Higher Alcohol>

[0042] (D) The higher alcohol is a higher alcohol commonly used in cosmetics, and is particularly preferably a higher alcohol having 16 to 22 carbon atoms. Preferred examples of the component (D) include cetyl alcohol, stearyl alcohol, oleyl alcohol, behenyl alcohol, etc. Among them, straight-chain unbranched cetyl alcohol, stearyl alcohol, and behenyl alcohol are particularly preferred.

[0043] The amount of the higher alcohol (D) is less than 0.95% by mass, preferably less than 0.80% by mass, and more preferably less than 0.60% by mass, relative to the total amount of the oil-in-water emulsified cosmetic. When the amount of the higher alcohol (D) is greater than 0.95% by mass, the penetration may be poor. The lower limit of the amount of the higher alcohol (D) is not particularly limited, but is generally preferably greater than 0.10% by mass, and more preferably greater than 0.20% by mass.

[0044] <(D) / (A) weight ratio>

[0045] In the oil-in-water emulsified cosmetic of the present invention, the weight ratio of the higher alcohol (D) to the higher fatty acid (A) ([(D) / (A) weight ratio]) is preferably 0.4 to 0.8, and more preferably 0.5 to 0.7. When the (D) / (A) weight ratio is within this range, a gel having a high penetrating feel and imparting sufficient viscosity and stability can be formed, which is preferred.

[0046] <Optional Ingredients>

[0047] The oil-in-water emulsified cosmetic of the present invention may further contain components other than the above-mentioned (A) to (D), such as aqueous solvents, oil components, moisturizers, drugs, surfactants, chelating agents, preservatives, antioxidants, etc., as needed, within the range not impairing the effects of the present invention.

[0048] Examples of the aqueous solvent include water (purified water, ion-exchanged water, tap water, etc.), lower alcohols, and mixtures thereof.

[0049] The oil component is not particularly limited, and various oil components widely used in cosmetics can be used. However, in the present invention, if the ratio of semi-solid and solid oil components is too much, the viscosity of the cosmetic becomes high, and there is a tendency that the penetration and low-temperature fluidity are impaired. In addition, if the ratio of liquid oil components is too much, the viscosity of the cosmetic becomes low, and there is a tendency that the thick feeling, moist feeling, and high-temperature stability become insufficient. Therefore, it is preferred that the mass ratio of semi-solid and solid oil components to liquid oil components ([semi-solid and solid oil components] / [liquid oil components]) is adjusted to preferably 0.01 to 0.40, more preferably 0.05 to 0.30, and more preferably 0.10 to 0.25.

[0050] In the present invention, when the mass ratio of the semisolid and solid oil components to the liquid oil components ([semisolid and solid oil components] / [liquid oil components]) is calculated, the (D) higher alcohol is also included in the semisolid and solid oil components.

[0051] In addition, the total amount of oil is preferably 3% by mass or more, more preferably 5% by mass or more, and preferably 25% by mass or less, more preferably 20% by mass or less, relative to the total amount of the oil-in-water emulsified cosmetic. Therefore, the range of the total amount of oil includes 3 to 25% by mass, 5 to 20% by mass, etc.
