[0158] The hook-shaped profile comprises a fillet radius to form a smooth edge between the first main angle of inclination 26 and the second main angle of inclination 28. The smooth edge may further improve the transfer of the liquid aerosol-forming substrate from the liquid storage portion 92 to the liquid supply channel 82 in the open position.
[0159] Figure 6c shows a second main inclination angle 28 provided at the tip of the hook-shaped profile. The second main inclination angle 28 may be between 1 and 20 degrees, preferably between 5 and 15 degrees, more preferably between 7 and 13 degrees relative to the longitudinal axis 12. The second main inclination angle 28 provides a tight interface between the proximal sealing element 24 and the inner wall of the sleeve element 80 in the blocking position to fluidically isolate the liquid storage portion 92 from the liquid supply channel 82.
[0160] Figure 7 a to 7d show a proximal sealing element 24 comprising an elastomeric material.
[0161] Figure 7 a shows that Figure 6 b and 6c. Another enlarged subsection is also shown as indicated by the dashed rectangle and arrows. The other enlarged subsection indicates the relaxation distance of the sealing element 24 in the absence of the inner wall of the sleeve element 80 by two lines and two arrows. Figure 7 As shown in FIG. 1 a, the slack distance reflects the degree to which the elastic sealing element 24 is compressed when inserted into the sleeve element 80. The slack distance is selected so that the sealing element 24 is pressed against the inner wall of the sleeve element 80 strongly enough in the blocking position to fluidly isolate the liquid storage portion 92 from the liquid supply channel 82. At the same time, the slack distance is selected so that the sealing element 24 does not press against the inner wall of the sleeve element 80 too strongly to provide a sufficiently low friction force to allow movement from the blocking position to the open position. Figure 7 The relaxation distance in the embodiment of a may be between 0.24 mm and 0.26 mm, preferably about 0.25 mm.
[0162] Figure 7 b shows the Figure 7 a is similar to the embodiment of the embodiment of FIG. Figure 7 The embodiment of b has a thicker sealing lip to form the sealing element 24 . Figure 7 The relaxation distance in the embodiment of b may be between 0.26 mm and 0.28 mm, preferably about 0.27 mm.
[0163] Figure 7 c shows the Figure 7 a is similar to the embodiment of the embodiment of FIG. Figure 7 The embodiment of b has a solid sealing lip without a hook-like profile to form the sealing element 24 . Figure 7 The relaxation distance in the embodiment of c may be between 0.16 mm and 0.18 mm, preferably about 0.17 mm.
[0164] Figure 7d shows an embodiment in which the sealing element 24 is not formed as a sealing lip, but is provided as an O-ring 30.
