In such a connector, for example, a plurality of terminals are arranged in a direction orthogonal to the length direction of the electric wire. Similarly, inside the connector housing, a plurality of electric wires are arranged in a direction orthogonal to the length direction of the electric wire. In addition, each of the plurality of electric wires is led out from the inside of the connector housing to the outside.
[0003] In the connector described in Patent Document 1, the end of the electromagnetic shielding member in the longitudinal direction of the wire is folded back in a manner that covers the outer peripheral surface of the wire. An annular clamping ring is installed on the outer periphery of the folded-back portion of the electromagnetic shielding member. The electromagnetic shielding member and the clamping ring are electrically connected by contacting each other. The shielding shell is formed into a cylindrical shape that surrounds the outer peripheries of the clamping rings respectively installed on a plurality of wires. The shielding shell and each clamping ring are electrically connected by contacting each other. In addition, the clamping rings adjacent in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the wire are in contact with each other in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the wire. [0004] Patent Document 1: Japanese Patent Application Publication No. 2017-69159 Summary of the invention Problems to be solved by the invention
[0005] In recent years, connectors installed in vehicles such as automobiles are sometimes required to be able to handle currents with large current values and voltage values. In this case, thick-diameter wires that can pass large currents are used for electric wires. Furthermore, terminals electrically connected to the electric wires also use terminals with large cross-sectional areas so that large currents can pass. In addition, the larger the current value and voltage value of the current passing through the terminals, the longer the distance between adjacent terminals needs to be insulated from each other. Therefore, the distance between the portions of adjacent electric wires that are led out of the connector housing also becomes longer. As a result, in the connector, a gap is generated between the clamping rings installed on adjacent electric wires. As a result, electromagnetic noise radiated from the electric wires or terminals may leak from the gap to the outside of the connector, and the electromagnetic shielding performance is reduced.

[0010] [Description of Embodiments of the Present Disclosure] First, embodiments of the present disclosure will be described below. The connector of the present disclosure, [1] A plurality of terminals arranged in a first direction; a plurality of wires electrically connected to the plurality of terminals; a connector housing internally holding the plurality of terminals and having a first opening, the plurality of wires passing through the first opening in a second direction intersecting the first direction; a conductive shielding shell covering the plurality of terminals; a plurality of shell rings respectively mounted on the plurality of wires and arranged in the first direction; and a conductive shielding attachment disposed between the shell rings adjacent to each other in the first direction, the shielding shell having a second opening, the plurality of wires passing through the second opening in the second direction, the plurality of wires each having a core wire and an inner insulating outer wall covering the outer periphery of the core wire. The shielded wire comprises an inner insulating covering portion, and an electromagnetic shielding member which is conductive and covers the outer circumference of the inner insulating covering portion, wherein each of the plurality of shell rings electrically connects the electromagnetic shielding member and the shielding shell of the wire on which the shell ring is installed among the plurality of wires, and the outer circumferential surface of each of the plurality of shell rings has a contact surface in contact with the shielding accessory, and the shielding accessory comprises: a covering portion which is located on the inner side of the second opening portion when viewed from the second direction and covers the gap between the shell rings adjacent to each other in the first direction; and a pressing portion which contacts the contact surface adjacent to the shielding accessory in the first direction and presses the contact surface with a force having a component in a direction parallel to the first direction.
[0011] According to this structure, the shielding attachment is electrically connected to the shell ring by the pressing portion contacting the contact surface. In addition, the covering portion can suppress the electromagnetic noise radiated from the wire or the terminal from leaking to the outside of the connector from the gap between the shell rings adjacent in the first direction. Therefore, even if the shell rings adjacent in the first direction are arranged separately in the first direction, the electromagnetic shielding performance of the connector can be ensured.
[0012] In addition, the pressing portion presses the contact surface with a force including a component in a direction parallel to the first direction. Therefore, the shell ring is unlikely to vibrate in the first direction. Therefore, vibration of the electric wire to which the shell ring is attached in the first direction can be suppressed.
[0013] [2] In the above [1], the pressing portion may press the contact surface of the shell ring located on both sides of the shielding accessory in the first direction on both sides of an imaginary straight line passing through the centers of the plurality of electric wires when viewed from the second direction.
[0014] According to this structure, the shielding accessory can contact the shell ring at multiple locations. Therefore, compared with a case where the shielding accessory and the shell ring adjacent to the shielding accessory contact at one location, the electrical connection between the shielding accessory and the shell ring is stable. In addition, compared with a case where the shielding accessory presses the shell ring adjacent to itself with the pressing portion at only one location, it is easier to suppress the vibration of the shell ring. Therefore, the vibration of the electric wire in the first direction can be further suppressed.
[0015] [3] In the above [1] or [2], the pressing portion may press a portion of the contact surface of the shell ring adjacent to the shielding accessory in the first direction that intersects with an imaginary straight line passing through the center of the plurality of wires when viewed from the second direction.
[0016] According to this configuration, the force pressing the electric wire in the direction parallel to the first direction can be stably transmitted from the pressing portion to the electric wire via the shell ring. Therefore, vibration of the electric wire in the first direction can be further suppressed.
[0017] [4] In any one of the above [1] to [3], the shield attachment may include a contact portion that contacts the shield case. According to this structure, the shielding accessory is not only indirectly electrically connected to the shielding shell via the shell ring, but also can be directly electrically connected to the shielding shell by contacting the shielding shell with the contact portion. Therefore, the shielding accessory can be electrically connected to the shielding shell more stably. Therefore, the electromagnetic shielding performance can be ensured in the shielding accessory.
[0018] [5] In any one of the above [1] to [4], the pressing portion may include a leaf spring portion and a contact protrusion, wherein the contact protrusion protrudes from a surface of the leaf spring portion and is pressed against the contact surface by the elastic force of the leaf spring portion.
[0019] According to this structure, the contact protrusion is in a shape protruding from the leaf spring part, so it is easy to contact the contact surface. In addition, the contact protrusion is pressed to the contact surface by the elastic force of the leaf spring part, so it is easy to maintain the state in which the pressing part is in contact with the contact surface. Therefore, the electrical connection between the shell ring and the shielding accessory can be stabilized.
[0020] [6] In any of the above [1] to [5], the contact surface may be a plane perpendicular to the first direction. According to this structure, the pressing portion presses the contact surface, and a force in a direction parallel to the first direction can be easily applied to the shell ring from the pressing portion. Therefore, the vibration of the shell ring in the first direction can be further suppressed. Therefore, the vibration of the wire in the first direction can be further suppressed.
[0021] [7] In any one of the above [1] to [6], it may also be that, when viewed from the second direction, the outer shape of each of the multiple shell rings is a quadrilateral, and the outer peripheral surface of each of the multiple shell rings has two surfaces parallel to the first direction and two surfaces perpendicular to the first direction when viewed from the second direction, and the contact surface is included in the surface perpendicular to the first direction in the outer peripheral surface of each of the multiple shell rings.
[0022] According to this structure, the gap between the shell rings adjacent in the first direction can be prevented from becoming complicated. Therefore, the shape of the covering portion covering the gap can be prevented from becoming complicated, and thus the shape of the shielding accessory can be prevented from becoming complicated. As a result, the manufacturing of the shielding accessory becomes easy. In addition, the gap between the shell rings adjacent in the first direction can be easily covered by the covering portion, so the electromagnetic shielding performance of the connector can be easily ensured.
[0023] [8] In any one of the above [1] to [7], the device may further include: a rear stopper holder mounted on the first opening and having a through hole, wherein the plurality of electric wires pass through the through hole in the second direction; and The sealing member seals between the outer peripheral surface of each of the plurality of electric wires and the inner peripheral surface of the through hole, and the shield attachment is arranged between the shell rings adjacent to each other in the first direction in a state of being mounted on the rear stopper holding body.
[0024] According to this structure, when assembling the connector, the rear stopper holding body in a state where the shielding accessory is mounted can be mounted to the first opening. In this way, the shielding accessory can be easily arranged between the shell rings adjacent in the first direction, compared with the case where a single shielding accessory is inserted between the shell rings adjacent in the first direction. In addition, since the shielding accessory is in a state where it is mounted on the rear stopper holding body, it is possible to suppress displacement of the shielding accessory inside the connector.
[0025] [Details of the embodiments of the present disclosure] The following is a specific example of the connector disclosed in the present invention with reference to the accompanying drawings. In each of the drawings, for the convenience of explanation, a part of the structure is sometimes enlarged or simplified. In addition, the size ratio of each part is sometimes different in each drawing. In each of the drawings, the XYZ axes that are orthogonal to each other are shown. The "orthogonal" in this specification not only includes the case of being strictly orthogonal, but also includes the case of being roughly orthogonal within the scope of the effect of the present embodiment. In addition, the term "annular" used in this specification sometimes refers to any structure that forms a ring, i.e., a continuous shape without ends, and a structure that is annular as a whole with a gap such as a C-shaped shape. The shape of the "annular" includes a circle, an ellipse, and a polygon with a sharp corner or a rounded corner, but is not limited to this. In addition, the terms "first", "second", "third", etc. in this specification are only used to distinguish objects, rather than to sort the objects. In addition, the present invention is not limited to these examples, but is shown by the claims, and is intended to include all variations within the meaning and scope equivalent to the claims.
[0026] Hereinafter, one embodiment of the connector will be described. Figure 1 The connector 20 of the present embodiment shown is provided at the end of the wire harness. The connector 20 is arranged in a vehicle such as an automobile. The vehicle has a plurality of devices such as a high-voltage battery, an inverter, and a motor for driving wheels. The connector 20 is connected to one of the plurality of devices.
[0027] like Figure 2 As shown, the connector 20 includes a plurality of terminals 21 , a plurality of electric wires 22 , a connector housing 23 , a shield shell 24 , a plurality of shell rings 25 , and a shield attachment 26 .
[0028] (Structure of terminal 21) like Figure 2 and Figure 3 As shown, the connector 20 includes three terminals 21, for example, terminals 21a, 21b, and 21c. Figure 3 yes Figure 43-3 cross-sectional view in . The terminals 21a, 21b, and 21c are each formed of a metal material such as copper, copper alloy, aluminum, and aluminum alloy. The terminals 21a, 21b, and 21c are, for example, of the same shape. The terminals 21a, 21b, and 21c are, for example, plate-shaped. The terminals 21a, 21b, and 21c are arranged in a first direction D1. The first direction D1 is an arbitrarily set direction. The first direction D1 is, for example, a direction along the Y axis. The terminals 21a, 21b, and 21c are arranged, for example, in such a manner that their respective thickness directions are along the first direction D1. In addition, the terminals 21a, 21b, and 21c are arranged at intervals from each other. For example, the terminals 21a, 21b, and 21c are arranged in the order of terminal 21a, terminal 21b, and terminal 21c along the first direction D1.
[0029] In addition, a direction intersecting the first direction D1 is referred to as a second direction D2. The second direction D2 is, for example, a direction perpendicularly intersecting the first direction D1. For example, the second direction D2 is a direction along the X-axis. In addition, a direction perpendicular to the first direction D1 and perpendicular to the second direction D2 is referred to as a third direction D3. The third direction D3 is, for example, a direction along the Z-axis. Hereinafter, the first direction D1, the second direction D2, and the third direction D3 are directions in the assembled state of the connector 20 unless otherwise specified.
[0030] The terminals 21a, 21b, and 21c are electrically connected to the counterpart terminals 201a, 201b, and 201c of the counterpart connector connected to the connector 20. The counterpart terminals 201a, 201b, and 201c are electrically connected to the counterpart terminals 201a, 201b, and 201c of the counterpart connector connected to the connector 20. Figure 3 The connector 20 is shown in the figure with double-dashed lines. The connector 20 may also include a clamping terminal 27a, and the clamping terminal 27a clamps the other terminal 201a and the terminal 21a inserted into the connector 20. The other terminal 201a is inserted into the connector 20, for example, along the third direction D3. The clamping terminal 27a presses the other terminal 201a to the terminal 21a by clamping the terminal 21a and the other terminal 201a. Similarly, the connector 20 may also include a clamping terminal 27b that clamps the other terminal 201b and the terminal 21b inserted into the connector 20, and a clamping terminal 27c that clamps the other terminal 201c and the terminal 21c inserted into the connector 20. The clamping terminals 27a, 27b, and 27c are each formed by stamping a metal plate such as copper, copper alloy, aluminum, aluminum alloy, or stainless steel.
[0031] (Structure of the electric wire 22) The connector 20 includes the same number of wires 22 as the terminal 21. The connector 20 includes, for example, three wires 22, namely, wires 22a, 22b, and 22c. The wires 22a, 22b, and 22c are shielded wires having an electromagnetic shielding structure. The wires 22a, 22b, and 22c are, for example, the same structure. The wires 22a, 22b, and 22c are, for example, high-voltage wires that can handle high voltage and high current.
[0032] like Figure 3 , Figure 4 and Figure 5 As shown, the electric wires 22a, 22b, and 22c each have a core wire 31 made of a conductor, an inner insulating coating 32 covering the outer periphery of the core wire 31, and an electromagnetic shielding member 33 covering the outer periphery of the inner insulating coating 32. In addition, each of the electric wires 22a, 22b, and 22c may further include an outer insulating coating 34 covering the outer periphery of the electromagnetic shielding member 33. In addition, Figure 4 yes Figure 3 In the 4-4 section view. In addition, Figure 5 yes Figure 4 A partial enlarged view of the Figure 4 and Figure 5 Only the wire 22a is shown in the figure. For example, the cross-sectional shape of each of the wires 22a, 22b, and 22c is circular. In addition, the cross-sectional shape of the wire 22 is a cross-sectional shape orthogonal to the length direction of the wire 22. The length direction of the wire 22 is equivalent to the X-axis direction in this embodiment. By the way, the cross-sectional shape of each of the wires 22a, 22b, and 22c is not limited to a circle, and may be any shape such as an ellipse, a rounded quadrilateral, a polygon, or any other arbitrary shape.
[0033] As the material of the core wire 31, for example, a metal material such as copper or aluminum can be used. The inner insulating coating 32 and the outer insulating coating 34 are each made of an insulating material such as synthetic resin. The electromagnetic shielding member 33 is a braided wire in which conductive wires such as copper alloy and aluminum alloy are braided into a cylindrical shape.
[0034] The electric wires 22a, 22b, and 22c extend in the second direction D2, respectively. That is, the connector 20 may be a connector in which the counterpart terminals 201a, 201b, and 201c are inserted in a direction intersecting the extending direction of the electric wires 22a, 22b, and 22c. The electric wire 22a is electrically connected to the terminal 21a, the electric wire 22b is electrically connected to the terminal 21b, and the electric wire 22c is electrically connected to the terminal 21c. The core wire 31 of the end region of the electric wire 22a in the direction opposite to the second direction D2 is exposed. The exposed portion of the core wire 31 of the electric wire 22a is joined to the terminal 21a by, for example, crimping, ultrasonic welding, laser welding, or other known joining methods. The electric wire 22b and the terminal 21b, and the electric wire 22c and the terminal 21c are also joined to each other in the same manner as the electric wire 22a and the terminal 21a.
[0035] The electric wires 22a, 22b, 22c are arranged in the first direction D1 like the terminals 21a, 21b, 21c in the connector 20. The electric wires 22a, 22b, 22c are arranged in the first direction D1 at intervals in the connector 20.
[0036] (Structure of Connector Housing 23) like Figure 2 and Figure 3 As shown, the connector housing 23 holds a plurality of terminals 21a, 21b, 21c inside. The connector housing 23 includes, for example, an outer housing 41 constituting the outer shell of the connector 20 and an inner housing 51 disposed inside the outer housing 41. The outer housing 41 and the inner housing 51 are made of, for example, synthetic resin.
[0037] like Figure 4 As shown, the outer shell 41 is formed in a cylindrical shape extending in the second direction D2. The outer shell 41 has a first end 42 and a second end 43 on the opposite side of the first end 42 in the second direction D2. The first end 42 of the outer shell 41 is closed.
[0038] The outer shell 41 has a first connection opening 44, and the other terminals 201a, 201b, and 201c are inserted into the first connection opening 44 along the third direction D3. The first connection opening 44 is located between the first end 42 and the second end 43 in the X-axis direction. In addition, the outer shell 41 has a first opening 45, and the wires 22a, 22b, and 22c pass through the first opening 45 in the second direction D2. The first opening 45 is located at the second end 43 of the outer shell 41. The first connection opening 44 and the first opening 45 each connect the inside and the outside of the outer shell 41.
[0039] like Figure 2 , Figure 3 and Figure 4As shown in FIG. 1 , the inner housing 51 is inserted into the outer housing 41 from the first opening 45 in the direction opposite to the second direction D2. The inner housing 51 includes, for example, an inner housing body 52 and a cover body 53.
[0040] The inner housing body 52 has a receiving recess 54a for receiving the terminal 21a, a receiving recess 54b for receiving the terminal 21b, and a receiving recess 54c for receiving the terminal 21c. Figure 4 Only the storage recess 54a is shown in the figure. The storage recesses 54a, 54b, and 54c are each recessed in a direction opposite to the third direction D3, for example. Moreover, the storage recesses 54a, 54b, and 54c are each open in the third direction D3. The cover body 53 is detachably mounted on the inner housing body 52 in a manner that closes the openings of the storage recesses 54a, 54b, and 54c from the direction opposite to the third direction D3.
[0041] The inner housing body 52 has a wire through-hole 55a, a wire through-hole 55b, and a wire through-hole 55c at the end in the second direction D2 through which the wire 22a passes. The wire through-holes 55a, 55b, and 55c are each open in the second direction D2.
[0042] The inner housing body 52 holds the terminals 21a, 21b, and 21c in a state where they are arranged in the first direction D1. In addition, the inner housing 51 accommodates the electrical connection portion between the terminal 21a and the electric wire 22a, the electrical connection portion between the terminal 21b and the electric wire 22b, and the electrical connection portion between the terminal 21c and the electric wire 22c in its interior. In addition, the electrical connection portion between the terminal 21a and the electric wire 22a is the portion where the terminal 21a and the electric wire 22a are joined. Similarly, the electrical connection portion between the terminal 21b and the electric wire 22b is the portion where the terminal 21b and the electric wire 22b are joined. The electrical connection portion between the terminal 21c and the electric wire 22c is the portion where the terminal 21c and the electric wire 22c are joined.
[0043] The electric wire 22a electrically connected to the terminal 21a is led out to the outside of the connector housing 23 through the electric wire through-hole 55a and the first opening 45. The electric wire 22b electrically connected to the terminal 21b is led out to the outside of the connector housing 23 through the electric wire through-hole 55b and the first opening 45. The electric wire 22c electrically connected to the terminal 21c is led out to the outside of the connector housing 23 through the electric wire through-hole 55c and the first opening 45.
[0044] The inner housing body 52 has a terminal insertion opening 56 at the bottom of each of the storage recesses 54a, 54b, and 54c. The terminal insertion openings 56 are exposed to the outside of the connector 20 from the first connection opening 44. When the connector 20 and the mating connector are connected, the mating terminal 201a inserted into the inside of the connector 20 from the first connection opening 44 along the third direction D3 is inserted into the inside of the inner housing 51, that is, the inside of the storage recess 54a through the terminal insertion opening 56. And, the mating terminal 201a overlaps with the terminal 21a in the first direction D1 inside the storage recess 54a and contacts the terminal 21a. The terminal 21a and the mating terminal 201a are electrically connected by the contact between the terminal 21a and the mating terminal 201a. Similarly, the mating terminal 201b is electrically connected to the terminal 21b housed in the storage recess 54b, and the mating terminal 201c is electrically connected to the terminal 21c housed in the storage recess 54c.
[0045] (Structure of Shield Case 24) The shield shell 24 covers the terminals 21a, 21b, and 21c. The shield shell 24 has conductivity. For example, the shield shell 24 is formed by punching a metal plate.
[0046] For example, the shield shell 24 covers the outer surface of the inner case 51. The shield shell 24 is disposed inside the outer case 41 together with the inner case 51. For example, the shield shell 24 is inserted into the outer case 41 from the first opening 45 together with the inner case 51.
[0047] The shield shell 24 is formed into, for example, a cylindrical shape extending in the second direction D2. In addition, for example, the shape of the shield shell 24 as viewed from the second direction D2 is formed into a quadrilateral that is long in the Y-axis direction. The shield shell 24 has a third end 61 and a fourth end 62 on the side opposite to the third end 61 in the second direction D2. The third end 61 of the shield shell 24 is closed. The shield shell 24 has a second connection opening 63, and the counterpart terminals 201a, 201b, and 201c are inserted into the second connection opening 63 along the third direction D3. The second connection opening 63 overlaps with the first connection opening 44 in the third direction D3. In addition, the shield shell 24 has a second opening 64, and the electric wires 22a, 22b, and 22c pass through the second opening 64 in the second direction D2. The second opening 64 is located at the fourth end 62 of the shield shell 24. The second opening 64 overlaps with the first opening 45 in the second direction D2.
[0048] like Figure 5 and Figure 6As shown, the shielding shell 24 may also have a plurality of first contact portions 65 in the end region including the fourth end 62. The plurality of first contact portions 65 are arranged along the periphery of the second opening portion 64. For example, the shielding shell 24 has six first contact portions 65 at both ends in the third direction D3. The six first contact portions 65 at the end of the shielding shell 24 located in the third direction D3 are arranged in a row at intervals in the first direction D1. Similarly, the six first contact portions 65 at the end of the shielding shell 24 located in the direction opposite to the third direction D3 are arranged in a row at intervals in the first direction D1. Each first contact portion 65 is formed, for example, by folding back the end of the shielding shell 24 in the second direction D2 toward the inside of the shielding shell 24. Each first contact portion 65 has elasticity.
[0049] like Figure 6 and Figure 7 As shown, the shielding shell 24 may also have a second contact portion 66 in the end region including the fourth end 62. For example, the shielding shell 24 has three second contact portions 66 at both ends in the first direction D1. The three second contact portions 66 at the end of the shielding shell 24 located in the first direction D1 are arranged in a row at intervals in the third direction D3. Similarly, the three first contact portions 65 at the end of the shielding shell 24 located in the direction opposite to the first direction D1 are arranged in a row at intervals in the third direction D3. Each second contact portion 66 is formed in a cantilever beam shape extending in the second direction D2, for example. In each second contact portion 66, the end in the second direction D2 is a free end, and the end in the direction opposite to the second direction D2 is a fixed end. Each second contact portion 66 can be elastically deformed in a manner that the free end is offset relative to the fixed end along the first direction D1. Each second contact portion 66 may also have a contact protrusion 67 protruding toward the inner side of the shielding shell 24. The contact protrusion 67 protrudes in, for example, a spherical shape.
[0050] (Structure of Shell Ring 25) like Figure 3 As shown, the connector 20 includes three shell rings 25, for example, shell rings 25a, 25b, and 25c. The shell ring 25a is attached to the electric wire 22a, the shell ring 25b is attached to the electric wire 22b, and the shell ring 25c is attached to the electric wire 22c. The shell rings 25a, 25b, and 25c are arranged inside the connector housing 23. For example, the shell ring 25a is attached to the portion of the electric wire 22a that is arranged between the first opening 45 and the electric wire through-hole 55a. Similarly, the shell ring 25b is attached to the portion of the electric wire 22b that is arranged between the first opening 45 and the electric wire through-hole 55b. The shell ring 25c is attached to the portion of the electric wire 22c that is arranged between the first opening 45 and the electric wire through-hole 55c. In addition, the shell rings 25a, 25b, and 25c are arranged, for example, inside the end region including the fourth end 62 in the shielding shell 24. The shell rings 25a, 25b, and 25c are arranged in the first direction D1.
[0051] The shell rings 25a, 25b, and 25c are each conductive. The shell rings 25a, 25b, and 25c are each formed by, for example, stamping a metal plate made of a copper alloy. In addition, the material of the shell rings 25a, 25b, and 25c is not limited to the copper alloy, and may be a metal material such as copper, aluminum, and an aluminum alloy. The shell rings 25a, 25b, and 25c are, for example, of the same shape. In this embodiment, only the shape of the shell ring 25a is described in detail, and the detailed description of the shapes of the shell rings 25b and 25c is omitted.
[0052] like Figure 5 As shown, the shell ring 25a is formed into a ring shape surrounding the outer circumference of the electric wire 22a. The shell ring 25a has a fixing portion 71, an extending portion 72, and a contacted portion 73, for example.
[0053] The fixing portion 71 is, for example, in a circular ring shape. The electric wire 22a passes through the fixing portion 71. The inner insulating coating portion 32 of the portion of the electric wire 22a arranged inside the inner housing 51 is exposed. For example, the outer insulating coating portion 34 is removed in a region from the end of the electric wire 22a in the direction opposite to the second direction D2 to a predetermined position between the electric wire insertion opening 55a and the second opening 64. And, the fixing portion 71 is attached to the outer periphery of the exposed electromagnetic shielding member 33, for example, inside the outer housing 41 and at a position between the electric wire insertion opening 55a and the second opening 64 in the second direction D2. The inner peripheral surface of the fixing portion 71 contacts the outer peripheral surface of the electromagnetic shielding member 33. In addition, the electromagnetic shielding member 33 has a folded portion 33a folded back in the second direction D2 in the end region in the direction opposite to the second direction D2. The folded portion 33a overlaps with the fixing portion 71 in a manner covering the outer peripheral surface of the fixing portion 71.
[0054] For example, the connector 20 includes a fixing member 75 for fixing the shell ring 25a to the electric wire 22a. The fixing member 75 is attached to the outer periphery of the folded portion 33a. The fixing member 75 is, for example, ring-shaped. The fixing member 75 fixes the shell ring 25a to the electric wire 22a by fastening the folded portion 33a, the fixing portion 71, and the portion of the electric wire 22a disposed inside the fixing portion 71. In addition, by pressing the fixing portion 71 against the electromagnetic shielding member 33 of the electric wire 22a by the fixing member 75, the fixing portion 71 and the electromagnetic shielding member 33 are electrically connected. That is, the shell ring 25a is electrically connected to the electromagnetic shielding member 33 of the electric wire 22a at the fixing portion 71. The fixing member 75 is, for example, a metal clamping ring. The fixing member 75 is clamped so that the outer shape viewed from the second direction D2 is, for example, hexagonal.
[0055] The shell ring 25b is also fixed to the electric wire 22b in the same manner and is electrically connected to the electromagnetic shielding member 33 of the electric wire 22b. The shell ring 25c is also fixed to the electric wire 22c in the same manner and is electrically connected to the electromagnetic shielding member 33 of the electric wire 22c.
[0056] like Figure 5 , Figure 6 and Figure 7 As shown, the extension portion 72 extends from the fixing portion 71 to the outside of the fixing portion 71. For example, the extension portion 72 extends outward from the end of the fixing portion 71 in the second direction D2. For example, the outer edge of the extension portion 72 is located at a position offset in the second direction D2 relative to the inner edge of the extension portion 72. Therefore, the extension portion 72 is inclined relative to a plane perpendicular to the second direction D2. For example, when viewed from the second direction D2, the inner edge of the extension portion 72 is circular, while the outer edge of the extension portion 72 is quadrilateral.
[0057] The contacted portion 73 extends from the outer edge of the extension portion 72 in the second direction D2. Incidentally, the extension portion 72 covers the portion between the fixing portion 71 and the extension portion 72. The contacted portion 73 is formed into, for example, a ring shape surrounding the outer periphery of the electric wire 22a. In addition, the contacted portion 73 extends, for example, in parallel with the second direction D2. For example, the shape of the contacted portion 73 viewed from the second direction D2 is a quadrilateral frame shape. Therefore, for example, when viewed from the second direction D2, the outer shape of the shell ring 25a is a quadrilateral.
[0058] like Figure 6 and Figure 7 As shown, the outer peripheral surface of the contacted portion 73 constitutes a part of the outer peripheral surface of the shell ring 25. The outer peripheral surface of the contacted portion 73 is, for example, parallel to the second direction D2. The outer peripheral surface of the contacted portion 73 has, for example, four side surfaces, namely, a first side surface 81, a second side surface 82, a third side surface 83, and a fourth side surface 84. The outer peripheral surface of the contacted portion 73 is, for example, formed into a square tube shape consisting of the first side surface 81, the second side surface 82, the third side surface 83, and the fourth side surface 84. The first side surface 81 is an outer side surface of the contacted portion 73 in a direction opposite to the first direction D1. The second side surface 82 is an outer side surface of the contacted portion 73 in the first direction D1. The first side surface 81 and the second side surface 82 are, for example, planes perpendicular to the first direction D1. The third side surface 83 is an outer side surface of the contacted portion 73 in the third direction D3. The fourth side surface 84 is an outer side surface of the contacted portion 73 in a direction opposite to the third direction D3. When viewed from the second direction D2, the third side surface 83 and the fourth side surface 84 are, for example, parallel to the first direction D1. The third side surface 83 and the fourth side surface 84 are, for example, planes perpendicular to the third direction D3.
[0059] Among the six first contact portions 65 located at the end of the shield shell 24 in the third direction D3, two first contact portions 65 arranged at the end in the direction opposite to the first direction D1 are in contact with the third side surface 83 of the shell ring 25a. The two first contact portions 65 press the third side surface 83 in the direction opposite to the third direction D3 by their own elastic force. Among the six first contact portions 65 located at the end in the direction opposite to the third direction D3 of the shield shell 24, two first contact portions 65 arranged at the end in the direction opposite to the first direction D1 are in contact with the fourth side surface 84 of the shell ring 25a. The two first contact portions 65 press the fourth side surface 84 in the third direction D3 by their own elastic force. In addition, three second contact portions 66 located at the end in the direction opposite to the first direction D1 of the shield shell 24 are in contact with the first side surface 81 of the shell ring 25a. The three second contact portions 66 press the contact projection 67 to the first side surface 81 by their own elastic force.
[0060] Thus, the first contact portion 65 and the second contact portion 66 contact the shell ring 25a, thereby electrically connecting the shell ring 25a and the shield shell 24. The shell ring 25a also electrically connects the shield shell 24 and the electromagnetic shield member 33 of the electric wire 22a to which the shell ring 25a is attached.
[0061] Similarly, two first contact portions 65 at the center of the six first contact portions 65 located at the end of the shield shell 24 in the third direction D3 are in contact with the third side surface 83 of the shell ring 25b. The two first contact portions 65 use their own elastic force to press the third side surface 83 in the direction opposite to the third direction D3. Two first contact portions 65 at the center of the six first contact portions 65 located at the end of the shield shell 24 in the direction opposite to the third direction D3 are in contact with the fourth side surface 84 of the shell ring 25b. The two first contact portions 65 use their own elastic force to press the fourth side surface 84 in the third direction D3. In this way, the shell ring 25b and the shield shell 24 are electrically connected by the first contact portions 65 contacting the shell ring 25b. In addition, the shell ring 25b electrically connects the electromagnetic shielding member 33 of the electric wire 22b to which the shell ring 25b is attached and the shield shell 24.
[0062] Similarly, among the six first contact portions 65 located at the end of the shield shell 24 in the third direction D3, two first contact portions 65 arranged at the end of the first direction D1 are in contact with the third side surface 83 of the shell ring 25c. The two first contact portions 65 press the third side surface 83 in the direction opposite to the third direction D3 by their own elastic force. Among the six first contact portions 65 located at the end of the shield shell 24 in the direction opposite to the third direction D3, two first contact portions 65 arranged at the end of the first direction D1 are in contact with the fourth side surface 84 of the shell ring 25c. The two first contact portions 65 press the fourth side surface 84 in the third direction D3 by their own elastic force. Furthermore, three second contact portions 66 located at the end of the shield shell 24 in the first direction D1 are in contact with the second side surface 82 of the shell ring 25c. The three second contact portions 66 press the contact projection 67 toward the second side surface 82 by their own elastic force. Thus, the first contact portion 65 and the second contact portion 66 contact the shell ring 25c, thereby electrically connecting the shell ring 25c and the shield shell 24. The shell ring 25c also electrically connects the shield shell 24 and the electromagnetic shield member 33 of the electric wire 22c to which the shell ring 25c is attached.
[0063] like Figure 7 As shown, when viewed from the second direction D2, there is a gap G1 between the shell ring 25a and the shell ring 25b adjacent to each other in the first direction D1. In addition, when viewed from the second direction D2, there is a gap G2 between the shell ring 25b and the shell ring 25c adjacent to each other. The second side surface 82 of the shell ring 25 and the first side surface 81 of the shell ring 25b are opposed to each other in the first direction D1 with the gap G1 therebetween. The second side surface 82 of the shell ring 25b and the first side surface 81 of the shell ring 25c are opposed to each other in the first direction D1 with the gap G2 therebetween.
[0064] (Structure of shielding attachment 26) like Figure 3 As shown, the connector 20 includes two shield attachments 26, for example, shield attachments 26a and 26b. In addition, the shield attachments 26, 26a, and 26b are hereinafter described as "attachments 26, 26a, and 26b". The attachment 26a is arranged between the shell ring 25a and the shell ring 25b adjacent to each other in the first direction D1. That is, the attachment 26a is arranged in the gap G1. The attachment 26b is arranged between the shell ring 25b and the shell ring 25c adjacent to each other in the first direction D1. That is, the attachment 26b is arranged in the gap G2. In addition, the attachments 26a and 26b are arranged between the terminals 21a, 21b, and 21c and the first opening 45 in the X-axis direction.
[0065] Each of the attachments 26a and 26b has electrical conductivity. Each of the attachments 26a and 26b is formed by, for example, stamping a metal plate made of a copper alloy. In addition, the material of the attachments 26a and 26b is not limited to the copper alloy, and may be a metal material such as copper, aluminum, or an aluminum alloy. The attachments 26a and 26b have, for example, the same shape as each other. Therefore, in this embodiment, only the shape of the attachment 26a is described in detail, and the detailed description of the shape of the attachment 26b is omitted.
[0066] like Figure 6 and Figure 7 As shown, the attachment 26a includes a covering portion 91, a first pressing portion 92a, and a second pressing portion 92b. The covering portion 91 is located inside the second opening 64 as viewed from the second direction D2 and covers the gap G1. The covering portion 91 is formed in a flat plate shape perpendicular to the second direction D2. For example, the covering portion 91 is formed in a quadrilateral plate shape having a width corresponding to the width of the gap G1 in the first direction D1.
[0067] like Figure 8 and Fig. 9 As shown, for example, the attachment 26a has a first extension portion 93a extending from the end of the covering portion 91 in the direction opposite to the first direction D1 toward the second direction D2. Also, for example, the attachment 26a has a second extension portion 93b extending from the end of the covering portion 91 in the first direction D1 toward the second direction D2. Figure 8 yes Figure 7 8-8 sectional view in FIG. The first pressing portion 92a extends from the first extending portion 93a along the second direction D2, for example. The second pressing portion 92b extends from the second extending portion 93b along the second direction D2, for example.
[0068] like Figure 7 As shown, the attachment 26a has, for example, the first pressing portion 92a on both sides of the imaginary straight line L1 passing through the centers of the electric wires 22a, 22b, and 22c when viewed from the second direction D2. In addition, the attachment 26a has the second pressing portion 92b on both sides of the imaginary straight line L1 when viewed from the second direction D2. That is, when viewed from the second direction D2, the attachment 26a may have the first pressing portion 92a and the second pressing portion 92b on both sides of the imaginary straight line L1 in the third direction D3.
[0069] like Figure 7 and Fig. 9As shown, each first pressing portion 92a includes, for example, a leaf spring portion 94a and a contact protrusion 95a protruding from the surface of the leaf spring portion 94a. The leaf spring portion 94a extends from the first extension portion 93a in the second direction D2. The leaf spring portion 94a can be elastically deformed in such a manner that the tip is offset relative to the base end thereof along the first direction D1. The contact protrusion 95a protrudes from the leaf spring portion 94a in the direction opposite to the first direction D1. The surface of the contact protrusion 95a is, for example, spherical. Each first pressing portion 92a contacts the second side surface 82 of the shell ring 25a adjacent to the attachment 26a in the first direction D1, and presses the second side surface 82 with a force including a component in a direction parallel to the first direction D1. In the shell ring 25a, the second side surface 82 is the contact surface 85 with which the first pressing portion 92a of the attachment 26a contacts. That is, the contact surface 85 contacts the attachment 26a. When viewed from the second direction D2, the two first pressing portions 92a press the second side surface 82 of the shell ring 25a on both sides of the imaginary straight line L1 in the third direction D3. Also, when viewed from the first direction D1, the two first pressing portions 92a press the second side surface 82 of the shell ring 25a on both sides of the center line L2 of the electric wire 22a in the third direction D3. The contact protrusion 95a of each first pressing portion 92a is pressed against the second side surface 82 of the shell ring 25a by the elastic force of the leaf spring portion 94a. The attachment 26a is electrically connected to the shell ring 25a by the first pressing portion 92a contacting the second side surface 82 of the shell ring 25a. Furthermore, the attachment 26a is electrically connected to the shielding shell 24 via the shell ring 25a.
[0070] like Figure 7 , Figure 8 and Fig. 9As shown, each second pressing portion 92b includes, for example, a leaf spring portion 94b and a contact protrusion 95b protruding from the surface of the leaf spring portion 94b. The leaf spring portion 94b extends from the second extension portion 93b in the second direction D2. The leaf spring portion 94b can be elastically deformed in such a manner that the tip is offset relative to the base end thereof along the first direction D1. The contact protrusion 95b protrudes from the leaf spring portion 94b in the first direction D1. The surface of the contact protrusion 95b is, for example, spherical. Each second pressing portion 92b contacts the first side surface 81 of the shell ring 25b adjacent to the attachment 26a in the first direction D1, and presses the first side surface 81 with a force including a component in a direction parallel to the first direction D1. In the shell ring 25b, the first side surface 81 is a contact surface 85 with which the second pressing portion 92b of the attachment 26a contacts. That is, the contact surface 85 contacts the attachment 26a. When viewed from the second direction D2, the two second pressing portions 92b press the first side surface 81 of the shell ring 25b on both sides of the imaginary straight line L1 in the third direction D3. When viewed from the first direction D1, the two second pressing portions 92b press the first side surface 81 of the shell ring 25b on both sides of the center line L3 of the electric wire 22b in the third direction D3. The contact protrusion 95b of each second pressing portion 92b is pressed to the first side surface 81 of the shell ring 25b by the elastic force of the leaf spring portion 94b. The attachment 26a is electrically connected to the shell ring 25b by the second pressing portion 92b contacting the first side surface 81 of the shell ring 25b. In addition, the attachment 26a is also electrically connected to the shielding shell 24 via the shell ring 25b.
[0071] Thus, the first pressing portion 92a and the second pressing portion 92b of the attachment 26a press the contact surfaces 85 of the shell rings 25a and 25b located on both sides of the attachment 26a in the first direction D1 on both sides of the imaginary straight line L1 in the third direction D3.
[0072] The attachment 26a may also have a contact portion 96 that contacts the shielding shell 24. For example, the attachment 26a has contact portions 96 at both ends of the covering portion 91 in the third direction D3. For example, the contact portions 96 extend from both ends of the covering portion 91 in the third direction D3 in a direction opposite to the second direction D2. The contact portion 96 can be elastically deformed in such a manner that the top end is offset relative to the base end thereof along the third direction D3. The contact portion 96 may also have a contact protrusion 97 that is pressed against the inner peripheral surface of the shielding shell 24 by the elastic force of the contact portion 96. The attachment 26a contacts the inner peripheral surface of the shielding shell 24 through the contact protrusion 97 of the contact portion 96, and is thereby electrically connected to the shielding shell 24 at the contact portion 96.
[0073] The attachment 26a has, for example, two first engaging portions 98a. In addition, the number of the first engaging portions 98a may be one or more than three. The two first engaging portions 98a extend from the first extension portion 93a to the second direction D2 between the two first pressing portions 92a. The two first engaging portions 98a are separated from each other in the third direction D3. Each first engaging portion 98a can be elastically deformed in such a manner that the top end is offset relative to its base end along the first direction D1. Each first engaging portion 98a has, for example, a first engaging protrusion 99a protruding from each first engaging portion 98a to the first direction D1. The surface of the first engaging protrusion 99a is, for example, spherical.
[0074] In addition, the attachment 26a has, for example, two second engaging portions 98b. In addition, the number of the second engaging portions 98b may be one or more than three. The two second engaging portions 98b extend from the second extension portion 93b to the second direction D2 between the two second pressing portions 92b. The two second engaging portions 98b are separated from each other in the third direction D3. Each second engaging portion 98b can be elastically deformed in such a manner that the top end is offset relative to its base end along the first direction D1. Each second engaging portion 98b has, for example, a second engaging protrusion 99b protruding from each second engaging portion 98b in a direction opposite to the first direction D1. The surface of the second engaging protrusion 99b is, for example, spherical.
[0075] like Figure 6 and Figure 7 As shown in FIG. 1 , similarly to the attachment 26a, the first pressing portion 92a and the second pressing portion 92b of the attachment 26b also contact the shell rings 25b and 25c on both sides of the attachment 26b in the first direction D1. That is, each first pressing portion 92a of the attachment 26b contacts the second side surface 82 of the shell ring 25b adjacent to the attachment 26b in the first direction D1, and presses the second side surface 82 with a force including a component in a direction parallel to the first direction D1. In the shell ring 25b, the second side surface 82 is the contact surface 85 with which the first pressing portion 92a of the attachment 26b contacts. When viewed from the second direction D2, the two first pressing portions 92a of the attachment 26b press the second side surface 82 of the shell ring 25b on both sides of the imaginary straight line L1 in the third direction D3. The contact protrusion 95a of each first pressing portion 92a of the attachment 26b is pressed against the second side surface 82 of the shell ring 25b by the elastic force of the leaf spring portion 94a. The attachment 26b is electrically connected to the shell ring 25b by the first pressing portion 92a contacting the second side surface 82 of the shell ring 25b. Furthermore, the attachment 26b is electrically connected to the shielding shell 24 via the shell ring 25b.
[0076] In addition, each second pressing portion 92b of the attachment 26b contacts the first side surface 81 of the shell ring 25c adjacent to the attachment 26b in the first direction D1, and presses the first side surface 81 with a force including a component in a direction parallel to the first direction D1. In the shell ring 25c, the first side surface 81 is a contact surface 85 with which the second pressing portion 92b of the attachment 26b contacts. When viewed from the second direction D2, the two second pressing portions 92b of the attachment 26b press the first side surface 81 of the shell ring 25c on both sides of the imaginary straight line L1 in the third direction D3. The contact protrusion 95b of each second pressing portion 92b of the attachment 26b is pressed against the first side surface 81 of the shell ring 25c by the elastic force of the leaf spring portion 94b. The attachment 26b is electrically connected to the shell ring 25c by the second pressing portion 92b contacting the first side surface 81 of the shell ring 25c. Furthermore, the attachment 26b is also electrically connected to the shielding case 24 via the case ring 25c.
[0077] Thus, the first pressing portion 92a and the second pressing portion 92b of the attachment 26b press the contact surfaces 85 of the shell rings 25b and 25c located on both sides of the attachment 26b in the first direction D1 on both sides of the imaginary straight line L1 in the third direction D3. In addition, the attachment 26b contacts the inner peripheral surface of the shielding shell 24 through the contact protrusion 97 of the contact portion 96, and is electrically connected to the shielding shell 24 at the contact portion 96.
[0078] like Figure 7 As shown in FIG. 1 , when viewed from the second direction D2, the second opening 64 of the shield shell 24 is sealed by the electric wires 22a, 22b, the shell rings 25a, 25b, 25c, and the attachments 26a, 26b. That is, the gap between the inner edge of the second opening 64 and the outer peripheral surface of each of the electric wires 22a, 22b, 22c is sealed by the shell rings 25a, 25b, 25c and the attachments 26a, 26b.
[0079] (Structure of rear stopper holding body 101) like Figure 2 and Figure 5 As shown, the connector 20 includes, for example, a rear stopper and holder 101 attached to the first opening 45. The rear stopper and holder 101 is made of, for example, synthetic resin.
[0080] like Figure 3 and Fig.10 As shown, the rear stopper and holder 101 has an outer shape that can be fitted into the first opening 45. The rear stopper and holder 101 prevents the inner housing 51 from falling from the first opening 45 to the outside of the outer housing 41.
[0081] For example, the rear stopper 101 has a through hole 102a, a through hole 102b, and a through hole 102c, the wire 22a passes through the through hole 102a in the second direction D2, the wire 22b passes through the through hole 102b in the second direction D2, and the wire 22c passes through the through hole 102c in the second direction D2. The through holes 102a, 102b, and 102c are arranged in the first direction D1.
[0082] The connector 20 may further include a first sealing member 103a, and the first sealing member 103a seals between the inner circumference of the through hole 102a and the outer circumference of the wire 22a. In addition, the connector 20 may further include a first sealing member 103b and a first sealing member 103c, and the first sealing member 103b seals between the inner circumference of the through hole 102b and the outer circumference of the wire 22b, and the first sealing member 103c seals between the inner circumference of the through hole 102c and the outer circumference of the wire 22c. When viewed from the second direction D2, the first sealing members 103a, 103b, and 103c are, for example, ring-shaped, respectively surrounding the outer circumference of the wires 22a, 22b, and 22c. The first sealing members 103a, 103b, and 103c are each, for example, a rubber ring. The first sealing member 103a inhibits liquids such as water from penetrating into the interior of the outer shell 41 from between the outer circumference of the wire 22a and the inner circumference of the through hole 102a. The first sealing member 103b prevents liquid such as water from entering the outer shell 41 from between the outer circumference of the wire 22b and the inner circumference of the through hole 102b. The first sealing member 103c prevents liquid such as water from entering the outer shell 41 from between the outer circumference of the wire 22c and the inner circumference of the through hole 102c.
[0083] like Figure 3 and Figure 5 As shown, the connector 20 may further include a second sealing member 104, and the second sealing member 104 seals between the outer peripheral surface of the rear stopper 101 and the inner peripheral surface of the outer shell 41. The second sealing member 104 is formed in a ring shape surrounding the outer periphery of the rear stopper 101. The second sealing member 104 is, for example, a rubber ring. The second sealing member 104 is interposed between the inner peripheral surface of the outer shell 41 and the outer peripheral surface of the rear stopper 101. The second sealing member 104 prevents liquid such as water from penetrating into the interior of the outer shell 41 from between the outer peripheral surface of the rear stopper 101 and the inner peripheral surface of the outer shell 41. That is, the second sealing member 104 prevents liquid such as water from penetrating into the interior of the outer shell 41 from the first opening 45.
[0084] like Fig.10 and Fig.11 As shown, the rear stopper retaining body 101 may also have a mounting portion 105a for assembling the accessory 26a and a mounting portion 105b for assembling the accessory 26b. Fig.11 yes Fig.1011-11 section in the figure. The mounting portion 105a protrudes from a portion between the through hole 102a and the through hole 102b in the rear stopper holder 101 in a direction opposite to the second direction D2. The mounting portion 105b protrudes from a portion between the through hole 102b and the through hole 102c in the rear stopper holder 101 in a direction opposite to the second direction D2. In addition, the mounting portion 105b has the same shape as the mounting portion 105a, and therefore a detailed description of the mounting portion 105b is omitted.
[0085] For example, the mounting portion 105a has a first engaging recess 106a on the end surface in the direction opposite to the first direction D1. Also, for example, the mounting portion 105a has a second engaging recess 106b on the end surface in the first direction D1. The first engaging recess 106a is recessed in the first direction D1. The second engaging recess 106b is recessed in the direction opposite to the first direction D1.
[0086] The attachment 26a is arranged on the mounting portion 105a so as to sandwich the top end region of the mounting portion 105a between the first extension portion 93a and the second extension portion 93b. The attachment 26a is assembled to the rear stopper holder 101 by arranging the first engaging protrusion 99a in the first engaging recess 106a and the second engaging protrusion 99b in the second engaging recess 106b. The first engaging protrusion 99a abuts against the inner surface of the first engaging recess 106a and the second engaging protrusion 99b abuts against the inner surface of the second engaging recess 106b, thereby preventing the attachment 26a from falling off the mounting portion 105a. The attachment 26b is assembled to the mounting portion 105b in the same manner as the attachment 26a is assembled to the mounting portion 105a.
[0087] The rear stopper holder 101 is mounted on the first opening 45 in a state where the attachments 26a and 26b are mounted. That is, the attachments 26a and 26b are arranged between the shell rings 25a, 25b, and 25c adjacent to each other in the first direction D1 in a state where the attachments 26a and 26b are mounted on the rear stopper holder 101. And, for example, the fixing members 75 on both sides of the attachment 26a in the first direction D1 are in contact with the attachment 26a. Also, for example, the fixing members 75 on both sides of the attachment 26b in the first direction D1 are in contact with the attachment 26b.
[0088] In addition, if Figure 1 , Figure 2 and Figure 5As shown, the connector 20 may also include a rear stopper 111, which is mounted in an end region of the outer shell 41 including the second end 43. The rear stopper 111 prevents the first sealing members 103a, 103b, 103c from falling off from the first opening 45. In addition, the rear stopper 111 prevents the rear stopper retaining body 101 from falling off from the outer shell 41. The rear stopper 111 is composed of, for example, split stoppers 112a and 112b that are split into two in the third direction D3. The electric wires 22a, 22b, and 22c are each passed through the rear stopper 111 in the second direction D2 and led out to the outside of the outer shell 41.
[0089] (Effects of the Implementation Methods) The effects of this embodiment will be described. (1) The connector 20 includes a plurality of terminals 21 arranged in a first direction D1 and a plurality of electric wires 22 electrically connected to the plurality of terminals 21. The connector 20 includes a connector housing 23 that holds the plurality of terminals 21 and has a first opening 45 through which the plurality of electric wires 22 pass in a second direction D2 intersecting the first direction D1, and a conductive shield shell 24 that covers the plurality of terminals 21. The connector 20 includes a plurality of shell rings 25 that are respectively attached to the plurality of electric wires 22 and arranged in the first direction D1, and a conductive attachment 26 that is disposed between the shell rings 25 adjacent to each other in the first direction D1. The shield shell 24 has a second opening 64 through which the plurality of electric wires 22 pass in the second direction D2. Each of the plurality of electric wires 22 is a shielded electric wire that includes a core wire 31, an inner insulating coating 32 that covers the outer periphery of the core wire 31, and an electromagnetic shield member 33 that has conductivity and covers the outer periphery of the inner insulating coating 32. Each of the plurality of shell rings 25 electrically connects the electromagnetic shielding member 33 and the shielding shell 24 of the wire 22 to which the shell ring 25 is attached among the plurality of wires 22. The outer peripheral surface of each of the plurality of shell rings 25 has a contact surface 85 that contacts the attachment 26. The attachment 26a has a covering portion 91 that is located inside the second opening 64 as viewed from the second direction D2 and covers the gap G1 between the shell rings 25a and 25b adjacent to each other in the first direction D1. In addition, the attachment 26a has a first pressing portion 92a and a second pressing portion 92b that contact the contact surfaces 85 of the shell rings 25a and 25b adjacent to the attachment 26a in the first direction D1, and press the contact surfaces 85 with a force that includes a component in a direction parallel to the first direction D1. The attachment 26b has a covering portion 91, which is located on the inner side of the second opening portion 64 as viewed from the second direction D2 and covers the gap G1 between the shell rings 25b and 25c adjacent to each other in the first direction D1. In addition, the attachment 26b has a first pressing portion 92a and a second pressing portion 92b, which come into contact with the contact surfaces 85 of the shell rings 25b and 25c adjacent to the attachment 26b in the first direction D1, and press the contact surfaces 85 with a force including a component in a direction parallel to the first direction D1.
[0090] According to this structure, the attachment 26a is electrically connected to the shell rings 25a and 25b by its first pressing portion 92a and second pressing portion 92b contacting the contact surface 85. Moreover, the electromagnetic noise radiated from the electric wire 22 or the terminal 21 can be suppressed from leaking to the outside of the connector 20 from the gap G1 between the shell rings 25a and 25b adjacent to each other in the first direction D1 by the covering portion 91 of the shell ring 25a. In addition, the attachment 26b is electrically connected to the shell rings 25b and 25c by its first pressing portion 92a and second pressing portion 92b contacting the contact surface 85. Moreover, the electromagnetic noise radiated from the electric wire 22 or the terminal 21 can be suppressed from leaking to the outside of the connector 20 from the gap G2 between the shell rings 25b and 25c adjacent to each other in the first direction D1 by the covering portion 91 of the shell ring 25b. Therefore, in order to cope with the increase in current passing through the electric wire 22, the electromagnetic shielding performance of the connector 20 can be ensured even if the shell rings 25a and 25b adjacent in the first direction D1 and the shell rings 25b and 25c adjacent in the first direction D1 are arranged apart in the first direction D1.
[0091] In addition, the first pressing portion 92a and the second pressing portion 92b press the contact surface 85 with a force including a component in a direction parallel to the first direction D1. Therefore, the shell ring 25 is unlikely to vibrate in the first direction D1. Therefore, the vibration of the electric wire 22 to which the shell ring 25 is attached in the first direction D1 can be suppressed. As a result, the vibration of the connector 20 caused by the vibration of the electric wire 22 can be suppressed. Generally speaking, in order to allow a current with a large current value and a large voltage value to flow, the thicker the electric wire 22 is, the more difficult it is to suppress the vibration of the electric wire 22. Therefore, if the vibration of the electric wire 22 is suppressed by suppressing the vibration of the shell ring 25 as in the present embodiment, it can contribute to suppressing the vibration of the connector 20. In addition, by suppressing the vibration of the shell ring 25, it is possible to suppress the electrical connection between the shell ring 25 and the shielding shell 24 from becoming unstable.
[0092] (2) When viewed from the second direction D2, the first pressing portion 92a and the second pressing portion 92b press the contact surfaces 85 of the shell ring 25 on both sides of the attachment 26 located in the first direction D1 on both sides of the imaginary straight line L1 passing through the centers of the plurality of electric wires 22.
[0093] According to this structure, the attachment 26 can contact the shell ring 25 at multiple locations. Therefore, compared with the case where the attachment 26 and the shell ring 25 adjacent to the attachment 26 are in contact at one location, the electrical connection between the attachment 26 and the shell ring 25 is stable. In addition, compared with the case where the attachment 26 presses the shell ring 25 adjacent to itself at only one location with the first pressing portion 92a and the second pressing portion 92b, it is easier to suppress the vibration of the shell ring 25. Therefore, the vibration of the electric wire 22 in the first direction D1 can be further suppressed.
[0094] (3) The accessory 26 has the contact portion 96 that contacts the shield shell 24. According to this structure, the accessory 26 is not only electrically connected to the shield shell 24 indirectly via the shell ring 25, but also can be electrically connected to the shield shell 24 directly by the contact portion 96 contacting the shield shell 24. Therefore, the accessory 26 can be electrically connected to the shield shell 24 more stably. Therefore, the electromagnetic shielding performance can be ensured in the accessory 26.
[0095] (4) The first pressing portion 92a includes a leaf spring portion 94a and a contact protrusion 95a. The contact protrusion 95a protrudes from the surface of the leaf spring portion 94a and is pressed against the contact surface 85 by the elastic force of the leaf spring portion 94a. The second pressing portion 92b includes a leaf spring portion 94b and a contact protrusion 95b. The contact protrusion 95b protrudes from the surface of the leaf spring portion 94b and is pressed against the contact surface 85 by the elastic force of the leaf spring portion 94b.
[0096] According to this structure, the contact protrusion 95a is in a shape protruding from the plate spring portion 94a, so it is easy to contact the contact surface 85. In addition, the contact protrusion 95a is pressed against the contact surface 85 by the elastic force of the plate spring portion 94a, so it is easy to maintain the state in which the first pressing portion 92a is in contact with the contact surface 85. Similarly, the contact protrusion 95b is in a shape protruding from the plate spring portion 94b, so it is easy to contact the contact surface 85. In addition, the contact protrusion 95b is pressed against the contact surface 85 by the elastic force of the plate spring portion 94b, so it is easy to maintain the state in which the second pressing portion 92b is in contact with the contact surface 85. Therefore, the electrical connection between the case ring 25 and the attachment 26 can be stabilized.
[0097] (5) The contact surface 85 is a plane perpendicular to the first direction D1. According to this structure, by pressing the contact surface 85 by the first pressing portion 92a, a force in a direction parallel to the first direction D1 can be easily applied to the shell ring 25 from the first pressing portion 92a. In addition, by pressing the contact surface 85 by the second pressing portion 92b, a force in a direction parallel to the first direction D1 can be easily applied to the shell ring 25 from the second pressing portion 92b. Therefore, the vibration of the shell ring 25 in the first direction D1 can be further suppressed. Therefore, the vibration of the electric wire 22 in the first direction D1 can be further suppressed.
[0098] (6) When viewed from the second direction D2, the outer shape of each of the plurality of shell rings 25 is a quadrilateral. The outer peripheral surface of each of the plurality of shell rings 25 has two surfaces parallel to the first direction D1 and two surfaces perpendicular to the first direction D1 when viewed from the second direction D2. The contact surface 85 is included in the surface perpendicular to the first direction D1 in the outer peripheral surface of each of the plurality of shell rings 25.
[0099] According to this structure, the gaps G1 and G2 between the shell rings 25 adjacent in the first direction D1 can be prevented from becoming complicated. Therefore, the shape of the covering portion 91 covering the gaps G1 and G2 can be prevented from becoming complicated, and thus the shape of the attachment 26 can be prevented from becoming complicated. As a result, the manufacture of the attachment 26 becomes easy. In addition, the gaps G1 and G2 between the shell rings 25 adjacent in the first direction D1 can be easily covered by the covering portion 91, so the electromagnetic shielding performance of the connector 20 can be easily ensured.
[0100] (7) The connector 20 further includes a rear stopper 101, which is mounted on the first opening 45 and has through holes 102a, 102b, 102c, through which the plurality of electric wires 22 pass in the second direction D2. The connector 20 further includes first sealing members 103a, 103b, 103c, which seal between the outer peripheral surfaces of the plurality of electric wires 22 and the inner peripheral surfaces of the through holes 102a, 102b, 102c. The attachment 26 is arranged between the shell rings 25 adjacent to each other in the first direction D1 in a state in which it is mounted on the rear stopper 101.
[0101] According to this structure, when assembling the connector 20, the rear stopper 101 in the state where the attachment 26 is mounted can be mounted to the first opening 45. In this way, the attachment 26 can be easily arranged between the shell rings 25 adjacent in the first direction D1, compared with the case where the attachment 26 is inserted between the shell rings 25 adjacent in the first direction D1. In addition, since the attachment 26 is in the state of being mounted on the rear stopper 101, the displacement of the attachment 26 inside the connector 20 can be suppressed.
[0102] This embodiment can be implemented as the following modifications. This embodiment and the following modifications can be implemented in combination with each other within the range that there is no technical contradiction. ■In the above embodiment, the attachment 26a, 26b is not limited to the attachment of the above embodiment. For example, the attachment 26a, 26b may be replaced with the first engaging protrusion 99a and the second engaging protrusion 99b, and the first engaging portion 98a and the second engaging portion 98b may have the first engaging hole and the second engaging hole. In addition, the rear stopper 101 may be replaced with the first engaging recess 106a and the second engaging recess 106b, and may have the first engaging protrusion and the second engaging protrusion embedded in the first engaging hole and the second engaging hole. In addition, for example, the attachment 26a, 26b may be integrated with the rear stopper 101 by insert molding. In addition, for example, the attachment 26a, 26b may be attached to the rear stopper 101 by bonding.
[0103] Furthermore, the attachments 26a and 26b may not necessarily be mounted on the rear stopper 101. In this case, when manufacturing the connector 20, the step of arranging the attachment 26 between the shell rings 25 adjacent in the first direction D1 and the step of attaching the rear stopper 101 to the first opening 45 are performed separately.
[0104] ■The shape of the rear stopper and holder 101 is not limited to that of the above-described embodiment. For example, the rear stopper and holder 101 may include a single through hole through which the plurality of electric wires 22 pass in the second direction D2 instead of the through holes 102a, 102b, and 102c.
[0105] ■The shape of the shell ring 25 is not limited to the shape of the above-mentioned embodiment. The shell ring 25 may be any shape as long as it has a contact surface 85 on the outer peripheral surface. The contact surface 85 may be any surface that intersects the first direction D1. For example, when viewed from the second direction D2, the outer shape of the shell ring 25 may be any shape such as a polygon other than a quadrilateral, a circle, a rounded quadrilateral, or any other arbitrary shape. In addition, for example, the shape of the contacted portion 73 viewed from the second direction D2 may be any shape such as a polygon other than a quadrilateral, a circle, a rounded quadrilateral, or any other arbitrary shape. In addition, the outer peripheral surface of the contacted portion 73 may be inclined relative to the second direction D2. For example, the outer shape of the contacted portion 73 may become larger or smaller as it moves from the end in the direction opposite to the second direction D2 toward the end in the second direction D2. In addition, the outer peripheral surface of such a contacted portion 73 may also include a contact surface 85 pressed by the first pressing portion 92a or the second pressing portion 92b.
[0106] ■The contact surface 85 is not limited to a flat surface, and may be, for example, a curved surface or a surface including projections and depressions. ■The first pressing portion 92a may not have the contact protrusion 95a. The second pressing portion 92b may not have the contact protrusion 95b.
[0107] ■The attachment 26 may not have the contact portion 96 . ■The number and position of the first pressing parts 92a and the number and position of the second pressing parts 92b are not limited to those in the above-described embodiment. For example, the attachment 26 may include one or three or more first pressing parts 92a and second pressing parts 92b, respectively.
[0108] In addition, for example, the first pressing portion 92a and the second pressing portion 92b may press a portion of the contact surface 85 of the shell ring 25 adjacent to the attachment 26 in the first direction D1 that intersects with the imaginary straight line L1 passing through the centers of the plurality of electric wires 22, as viewed from the second direction D2. In this case, the attachment 26 may include only the first pressing portion 92a and the second pressing portion 92b. In this case, the first pressing portion 92a and the second pressing portion 92b may be one first pressing portion 92a and one second pressing portion 92b, respectively, among the plurality of first pressing portions 92a and the plurality of second pressing portions 92b. In this case, the force pressing the electric wire 22 in a direction parallel to the first direction D1 can be stably transmitted from the first pressing portion 92a and the second pressing portion 92b to the electric wire 22 via the shell ring 25. Therefore, the vibration of the electric wire 22 in the first direction D1 can be further suppressed.
[0109] ■The shape of the covering portion 91 is not limited to that of the above-described embodiment, and any shape may be used as long as it covers the gap between the shell rings 25 adjacent to each other in the first direction D1. ■The structure and shape of the connector housing 23 are not limited to those of the above-described embodiment. For example, the inner housing 51 may also have a receiving recess for receiving the terminals 21a, 21b, 21c. For example, the connector housing 23 may not have either the outer housing 41 or the inner housing 51 as long as it can hold the terminals 21.
[0110] ■The number of the terminals 21 provided in the connector 20 is not limited to three, and may be more than one. In addition, the number of the electric wires 22 provided in the connector 20 may be changed as appropriate according to the number of the terminals 21 . ■ The direction opposite to the first direction D1 in the above embodiment may be referred to as the first direction D1. The direction opposite to the third direction D3 in the above embodiment may be referred to as the third direction D3. Description of Reference Numerals
