Description

Technical Field

[0001] The invention relates to the field of fixing devices, in particular to a waterproof fixing device and an electronic device applicable thereto. Background Art

[0002] For all kinds of electronic devices that need to operate in outdoor environments, overall waterproof performance is a key design indicator and practical requirement. Among them, the cables of electronic devices pass through the through holes of their shells, leaving a gap between the cables and the through holes, which easily causes external moisture to enter the shell. Therefore, waterproofing and fixing the cables at the through holes of the shell are very important.

[0003] Currently, in order to achieve the waterproof requirement of the cable at the aforementioned position, many electronic devices adopt methods such as glue dispensing or glue dispensing combined with SR tail card (Strain relief) design, or achieve it through a more complex mechanism design with a large number of parts.

[0004] For example, a cable with an SR tail card structure can be combined with a special shell structure to achieve the effect of fixing the cable and waterproofing. However, this design is not very versatile. This design is only applicable to upper and lower split shell structures and cannot be applied to shell designs with a single circular through hole. In addition, the through holes of the upper shell and the lower shell must have a snap-fit structure design so that it can be snapped with the cable with the SR tail card structure. This will make the overall structure relatively complicated and significantly increase the design cost.

[0005] In addition, some other electronic devices use cable glands to fix the cables to the through holes of the housing and achieve waterproof effects. Although cable glands can provide excellent sealing and protection performance, the structure of cable glands is relatively complex, usually including multiple seals, stress relief components, and waterproof and dustproof materials. Therefore, the number of components required for installation is relatively large, which not only makes the installation process more cumbersome, but also may increase construction time and labor costs. In addition, high-quality cable glands usually use durable materials to achieve good corrosion resistance and durability, but also increase costs.

[0006] Therefore, it is necessary to develop a waterproof fixing device and an applicable electronic device to solve the problems and defects faced by the prior art. Summary of the invention
