Description

Technical Field

[0001] The present invention relates to a perfume bottle, or a bottle containing a hydroalcoholic composition, which includes an atomizer outlet oriented upward at a specific angle with respect to the longitudinal axis of the bottle and an adjustment mechanism by means of which the perfume bottle or the bottle containing the hydroalcoholic composition can deliver the spray in partial percentages. The perfume bottle or the bottle containing the hydroalcoholic composition can be manually actuated or form a system in which the bottle is located at the base and is electromechanically actuated through the base, and a single bottle and a group of bottles are positioned on the same base in a relative configuration or a circular configuration to obtain a specific perfume mixture for application to the user or for refilling an empty bottle.

[0002] The present invention is particularly applicable to the field of the perfume industry, especially perfume bottles with atomizers and automatic dispensing devices. Background Art

[0003] Both perfume manufacturers and users adopt a common practice called "layering", which involves mixing commercial perfumes to create personalized perfumes. One way to achieve layering includes creating and selling by manufacturers perfumes or essences designed to be mixed together. Another way includes combining several perfumes from different families to create new perfumes, which may be from the same manufacturer or may not be from the same manufacturer. The latter can also be a manufacturer's proposal to create a mixture of the products they sell, although this is more of a user initiative to personalize the perfume to be unique or to make the price lower by combining several perfumes of different prices.

[0004] The manufacturer's proposal for providing perfumes for layering includes using two or more perfumes and achieving the desired mixture by a full spray on a part of the body. This technique is limited to mixing where one spray is the only measurement unit that can be employed, so this technique will be very limited. An exemplary embodiment of using three perfumes is described below:

[0005] - 1 spray of perfume 1 + 1 spray of perfume 2 + 1 spray of perfume 3; the perfume will be obtained in proportions of 33.33% / 33.33% / 33.33% respectively, with a total of 3 sprays.

[0006] - 2 sprays of perfume 1 + 1 spray of perfume 2 + 1 spray of perfume 3; the perfume will be obtained in proportions of 50% / 25% / 25% respectively, with a total of 4 sprays.

[0007] - 3 sprays of perfume 1 + 1 spray of perfume 2 + 1 spray of perfume 3; the perfume will be obtained in proportions of 60% / 20% / 20% respectively, with a total of 5 sprays.

[0008] As can be seen, in order to reduce the proportion of one perfume in the perfume, it is necessary to increase the proportion of other perfumes by a large amount. Therefore, in addition to using more products, the mixture will become infeasible due to the amount of perfume used, resulting in the perfume being applied in the form of a stream on a part of the body to be applied, rather than being sprayed on a part of the body.

[0009] Document EP3880259A1 includes an apparatus that includes a housing and a rotatable turntable as a rotating device for accommodating a plurality of cartridges with perfume. The plurality of cartridges will be positioned in sequence such that a specific amount of perfume is extracted from the interior of the plurality of cartridges by means of an actuator and stored in a bottle located below the plurality of cartridges. The receiving bottle is a conventional bottle from which an atomizer has been removed, so the bottle is filled with different perfumes in a desired proportion.

[0010] The cartridges used will be the cartridges described in document EP3849622, which include a perfume bottle having the conventional elements of a commercially available bottle except for the atomizer it lacks, and in the position of the atomizer there is a tube for driving the liquid perfume downward, all of which are surrounded by a housing.

[0011] The disadvantage of this invention is that, in addition to the fact that there is no spraying sample of the mixture, the cartridges used cannot be directly used as an integrated perfume bottle and cannot be released from the apparatus, but rather the bottle must be refilled in order to know the result of a specific mixture. This apparatus, unlike the apparatus proposed which has obvious advantages for the user, can be included in a machine for manufacturing perfumes in a laboratory.

[0012] Document WO2021061056 discloses an electronically controlled perfume dispensing apparatus that sprays by means of a mechanism located within a housing. The apparatus includes a plurality of bottles such that the user can select a suitable mixture in a personalized manner.

[0013] The technology used includes conveying fluids by means of elements dedicated to this purpose, mainly pumps, solenoid valves, and check valves, and compressing the fluid mixture on the same atomizer.

[0014] The disadvantage of this invention is that it uses a unified fluid system such that when preparing a mixture, when using the first perfume, all the common and fixed elements of the apparatus are impregnated with the first perfume. When using the next bottle to extract the product from the next bottle, all the elements have been contaminated by the previous product. Therefore, due to the contamination of the previous perfume, an undesired mixture is obtained, and the previous perfume substantially modifies the mixture.

[0015] It is known to those of ordinary skill in the art that the composition of a perfume contains, in addition to the substances that provide the characteristic odor of the perfume itself, fixative elements or substances, which are intended to ensure the adhesion and persistence of the perfume on the applied part, thereby contaminating any part or element through which the perfume flows, especially non-removable elements, such as those listed in the relevant patents.

[0016] The present invention solves these problems that have not been overcome in the prior art and proposes a perfume bottle that can be used to administer small doses to users, and in which multiple perfume bottles can also be used in a device for administering a specific combination. Summary of the Invention

[0017] The present invention relates to a perfume bottle that has a series of distinguishing features compared to commercially available bottles.

[0018] The bottle includes: a head that includes an atomizing nozzle through which the atomized perfume exits; a container that serves as the housing for the perfume; and a body that surrounds the container and through which the head slides internally for spraying. It should be noted that the container and the head incorporate all the elements known in the prior art to enable spraying by simply pressing the head.

[0019] The first feature of the bottle of the present invention includes that the atomizing nozzle is inclined upward at a specific angle, preferably between 40 degrees and 50 degrees, with respect to the longitudinal axis of the bottle. Spraying at this angle causes the perfume to be slightly upwardly conveyed, rather than being conveyed horizontally at 90 degrees with respect to the longitudinal axis of the bottle as is known in the prior art.

[0020] The second feature of the bottle is that it includes an adjustment mechanism through which the spray can be conveyed in partial percentages. Adjustment can be considered in values that are easy for the user to understand, such as 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% of the spray. To achieve this adjustment, the head of the bottle includes markings for the percentage of the spray to be conveyed. The head is attached to the body of the bottle by means of a ramp mechanism or an alternative toothed mechanism, which allows the spray to be not complete but only partial according to the determined amount. Thus, by rotating the head, the mechanism is placed in the selected position.

[0021] The present invention also relates to a perfume bottle and, in particular, to an enclosure for the perfume bottle, which can incorporate two operating elements, for which purpose the enclosure includes two actuating elements, namely a button and an actuator.

[0022] The first actuator is a button located on the head of the bottle, which is intended to be actuated by the user in a conventional manner by simply pressing, so that the liquid flows out of the atomizing nozzle, just like any known perfume bottle. This actuator is incorporated into the described bottle.

[0023] The second actuator is an actuator intended for the bottle as an electromechanical device. This actuator includes an operating projection located at the bottom of the bottle and connected to the internal mechanism. This actuator is intended to be used in combination with a motorized base, from which the projection is pushed for spraying.

[0024] If a motorized base is used, the adjustment mechanism for ejecting a portion of the spray is electronic, thus acting directly on the motor and, in particular, adjusting the stroke of the motor.

[0025] When the motor of the base exerts a driving force on the projection of the bottle, the bottle will tend to move in the direction of the received driving force. To avoid this movement of the bottle and to prevent the driving force from being applied only to the actuator, on the one hand, the bottle includes a recess in the lower surrounding area, while on the other hand, the base includes a holding mechanism that fixes the projection in the recess of the bottle once the driving force is applied, thereby preventing the bottle from moving.

[0026] The holding mechanism can consist of a manually actuated projection located at the base, which is actuated by pressure to fit into the recess once the bottle is received at the base, and thus holds the bottle unaffected by the movement of the force transmitted to the actuator, which movement causes the spraying of the perfume. However, as will be described later, the holding mechanism can also be electromechanical.

[0027] In addition, the base can be intended to accommodate a single bottle or also intended to accommodate multiple bottles.

[0028] With this actuator, the present invention becomes an electromechanical device that has all the electronic components known in the art but not described, such as a power supply, a motor, an MCU, sensors, Wi-Fi connection or Bluetooth, etc., where the spraying of the perfume can be carried out by means of an electronic device (such as a mobile phone, a computer, etc.) through an application.

[0029] For each perfume bottle, the adjustment mechanism and the operating mechanism are separate, thus allowing for combinations between these perfume bottles in different percentages. To achieve this, it is sufficient to operate the mechanisms of multiple bottles simultaneously at a specific percentage and direct that percentage directly towards the point intended to receive the mixture.

[0030] Combining all of the above, the present invention allows for the three embodiments described below.

[0031] The first embodiment includes a separate perfume bottle, which is special in that the perfume bottle allows the desired spray percentage to be adjusted on the bottle itself so as to be applied directly to the user's skin like any commercial bottle. The application is the same as usual, that is, pressing the head to spray.

[0032] The second embodiment includes the electromechanical application of a sprayer. For this purpose, the present invention is configured as a system including a motorized base, which can actuate a protrusion located in the bottle. This embodiment focuses on a single bottle or multiple bottles used together. The last case will be the described case because it is more general and includes the case of a single bottle.

[0033] In this system, the bottles are arranged circularly on the base, and the sprayers of all the bottles point to a projection point in space. The user preferably places their wrist or any desired body part on this projection point. The user adjusts the spray ratio of each perfume bottle by means of an adjustment mechanism, which is different from the manually adjusted bottle. It is not physical but electronic. The adjustment of the spray percentage is preferably carried out through an application program designed for this purpose. This application program sends commands to each motor, which is responsible for operating the actuator of the corresponding bottle, so as to spray the mixture in a synchronous manner. However, the adjustment of the spray percentage can also be achieved through a physical selector programmed to act on the motor. This technology allows perfumes with various scents to be applied in a wide range and precise proportions because the adjustment is electromechanical and the spraying can be adjusted at intervals of 1% or even less.

[0034] Considering the possibility of adjusting the bottles, this technology allows an infinite number of combinations by using multiple bottles. If extrapolated to the above example, it can be seen that it allows mixing with a smaller amount of perfume, thus avoiding flowing out onto the user's body in the form of a stream as described above. According to the specific regulations of standard spraying, the above example will be modified as follows:

[0035] - 1 spray of perfume 1 (conventional 25%) + 1 spray of perfume 2 (conventional 25%) + 1 spray of perfume 3 (conventional 25%). Compared with the conventional method which would be 3 sprays, perfumes with proportions of 33.33% / 33.33% / 33.33% will be obtained, with a total of 0.75 sprays.

[0036] - 1 spray of perfume 1 (conventional 50%) + 1 spray of perfume 2 (conventional 25%) + 1 spray of perfume 3 (conventional 25%). Compared with the conventional method which would be 4 sprays, perfumes with proportions of 50% / 25% / 25% will be obtained, with a total of 1 spray.

[0037] - One spray of Perfume 1 (conventional 75%) + one spray of Perfume 2 (conventional 25%) + one spray of Perfume 3 (conventional 25%) will result in a perfume with proportions of 60% / 20% / 20 respectively, having a total of 1.25 sprays compared to the conventional method which would be 5 sprays.

[0038] The third embodiment involves incorporating a perfume refill bottle into the present invention. In this case, as in the previous embodiment, the perfume bottles are circularly arranged on the base, but the aim is to refill the bottle placed in the gap at the center of the base. This is achieved by adjusting the motor speed such that the spraying speed of all bottles drops to the point of forming a stream. The refill bottle is filled by means of a central piece fixed to the bottle, such as a funnel with a central hole, which will collect all the perfume being delivered to direct it towards the empty bottle placed below the hole of the funnel. The funnel is constructed with a protrusion on its periphery to couple the different bottles and may also include a shield which is intended to be located in front of the outlet of the atomizing nozzle of the perfume bottle to prevent the delivered perfume from falling outside the funnel in case of excessive spraying.

[0039] It is important to emphasize the motor adjustment technique applied to the actuator such that the perfume is released in liquid form rather than in spray form because the composition of the perfume contains a high percentage of highly volatile alcohols; otherwise, this substance which is crucial for the preservation and consistency of the perfume will be lost.

[0040] In this way, in summary, it can be shown that the present invention relates to a perfume bottle which includes: a head; an atomizing nozzle which is located in the head; a container which houses the perfume and a supply conduit leading to the atomizing nozzle and the mechanism for performing the spraying, and this mechanism may include a pump; and a body which has a longitudinal axis, and both the container and the head are accommodated in this body.

[0041] The atomizing nozzle has an inclination with respect to the longitudinal axis of the bottle body and includes an adjustment mechanism which determines the percentage of spraying, wherein the inclination is between 40 degrees and 50 degrees, and the adjustment mechanism provides multiple spraying percentages according to its positioning in different positions.

[0042] The adjustment mechanism can be a ramp mechanism which allows continuous adjustment of the percentage of spray to be delivered, or the adjustment mechanism can be a toothed mechanism which allows adjustment in various percentages of spray to be delivered.

[0043] Furthermore, the present invention also relates to a perfume spraying system in which a bottle of the said type is used.

[0044] However, in order to use the bottle in the system, the bottle includes a protrusion and a recess that come into contact with the container for a lifting movement for spraying and for keeping the bottle fixed during the lifting movement, respectively.

[0045] The system includes a base with a housing for the bottle, and the system includes an actuator fixed to the base and associated with the housing for the bottle. The system also includes a motor for applying the spray.

[0046] The spraying system may also include a plurality of housings for the bottle located at the base and an actuator associated with each of the housings.

[0047] Although a single motor can be used for a system with multiple bottles, preferably, a motor is used for each actuator so that the partial spray of each bottle can be adjusted independently and directly without the need to include additional mechanisms.

[0048] Whether used on a base with a single bottle or a base with multiple bottles, the motor for spraying is adjustable in stroke, so the piston will move more or less according to the percentage of spray the user wishes to apply.

[0049] In addition, the user can also adjust the motor speed to select between a high speed for applying the spray and a low speed for the spray to flow out in a stream.

[0050] Using the motor at a low speed to apply perfume in a stream requires the spraying system to further include at the base: a central gap for accommodating a refill bottle; and a collector having a funnel configuration for fixing to the bottle, the collector including a central hole such that the hole is aligned with the central hole. In this way, by selecting a spray with a defined percentage, each bottle will eject a stream of perfume, which will fall into the collector and finally enter the central hole and the refill bottle below the central hole. This operation will be repeated as many times as needed until the refill bottle is filled with the desired amount.

[0051] Regarding the configuration of the actuator, on the one hand, the lifting mechanism may include a gear, a rack meshing with the gear, a piston combined with the rack, and a guide member including corresponding through slots for controlling the holding mechanism. On the other hand, the holding mechanism includes a pair of protrusions, each protrusion having a pair of legs connected by a pin, and the pin is received in the corresponding slot and can move through the slot. [0077] The present invention relates to a perfume bottle, which includes a sprayer outlet oriented upward at a specific angle with respect to the longitudinal axis of the bottle and an adjustment mechanism. The perfume bottle can be manually or electromechanically transported in a partial percentage by means of the adjustment mechanism with the aid of a motorized base (19). In this case, the motorized base (19) can also be applied to multiple bottles simultaneously.

[0078] Figure 1 The bottle of the present invention is shown, in which it can be seen that the bottle is composed of a head (1), a container (3), an atomizing nozzle (2) and a body (4). The container (3) houses perfume and a spraying mechanism, and the perfume leaves to the outside through the atomizing nozzle (2). The body (4) surrounds the container (3) and houses the head (1).

[0079] Figure 2 An actuator responsible for spraying electromechanically is shown. For this purpose, the actuator includes a holding mechanism (7) and a lifting mechanism (8).

[0080] The lifting mechanism (8) includes a gear (9), a rack (10), a piston (11) and a guide (12).

[0081] The gear (9) is actuated by the shaft of a motor not shown in the drawings.

[0082] The rack (10) meshes with the gear (9) and includes side walls and an end located in the base.

[0083] The piston (11) is attached to the base of the rack (10) and has a longitudinal axis in the movement direction of the rack (10).

[0084] Each of the guides (12) includes a through groove (13) in a serpentine shape.

[0085] The holding mechanism (7) includes a pair of protrusions (16), each protrusion having a pair of legs (14) connected by a pin (15), the pin (15) being received in a corresponding groove (13), and the pin (15) being movable through the groove (13).

[0086] When the actuator accommodates the bottle, the movement of the actuator is as described below.

[0087] The actuator starts from a rest position in which the holding mechanism (7) is in a lower position. When the motor is actuated, the gear (9) starts to rotate, causing the rack (10) to move.

[0088] This, on the one hand, causes the piston (11) to be lifted, thereby pushing the protrusion (6) of the bottle for spraying.

[0089] This, on the other hand, also causes the guide member (12) to be lifted, causing the pin (15) to move from the outermost position in the top portion of the groove (13) as can be seen in Figure 5 to the innermost position in the lower portion of the groove (13) as can be seen in Figure 6 ; Figure 5 and Figure 6 show a bottle located on the actuator, the bottle having been sectioned to observe how the movement of the holding mechanism (7) from the deactivated position to the activated position is accordingly generated.

[0090] By this movement, the protrusion (16) moves from the retracted position to a more closed position, thereby being received in the recess (5) included in the body (4) of the bottle and preventing the body (4) of the bottle from moving due to the force applied by the piston (11).

[0091] Figure 3 and Figure 4 show, respectively, the bottle in the deactivated position or the rest position accommodated in the actuator and the bottle in the activated position after starting the delivery of the spray.

[0092] As mentioned, one object of the present invention includes a bottle that can eject a partial spray rather than a full spray of a usually large amount of product, especially in the case of trying to apply perfume through multiple bottles.

[0093] The application of the partial spray can be manually carried out by means of an adjustment mechanism located between the head (1) and the body (4) of the bottle. In this sense, the head (1) includes markings that define the percentage of the spray desired, and by rotating the head (1), the head (1) is positioned relative to the body (4) of the bottle to eject the desired spray. Depending on the positions of these two elements, the movement will be more or less restricted, thereby resulting in less or more spray, respectively.

[0094] Figure 7 Shows the bottle of the present invention, in which the head (1) of the body (4) is shown in exploded view to allow the adjustment mechanism responsible for spraying on a percentage basis to be seen. The figure shows that the adjustment mechanism includes a toothed mechanism (18) formed by two interconnected elements, which are a first element (18a) located in the lower region of the head (1) and a second element (18b) located in the upper region of the body (4).

[0095] Figure 8 Shows the different positions that the adjustment mechanism can adopt for the toothed mechanism (18) used, which shows the different positions that the first element (18a) can adopt relative to the second element (18b). Figure 8 Also shows a ramp mechanism (17) formed by a support (17a) and a ramp (17b), which has the same principle as the toothed mechanism (18), but has continuous position adjustment instead of discrete, jerky adjustment.

[0096] In this sense, the Figure 8 Shows a planar simulation of the positions of the two elements of the adjustment mechanism in the two said embodiments. It can be seen how the two elements (18a, 18b) of the toothed mechanism (18) do not contact in the rest position and only contact after spraying the shown percentages of 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% of the spraying, and the contact of the two parts of the adjustment mechanism at a certain position will cause more or less movement of the body (4) relative to the head (1) and will apply more or less spray respectively. In the same way, the ramp mechanism (17) is in the rest position, in which the support (17a) and the ramp (17b) do not contact.

[0097] Figure 9 Shows a base (19) with a plurality of housings (24) intended to accommodate perfume bottles to perform the layering or simultaneous spraying of a plurality of perfumes, thus obtaining different results. Each of the housings (24) of the bottle is associated with an actuator, and the base (19) may include a motor for actuating each of the actuators or for actuating a plurality of actuators, or include a separate motor for actuating all the actuators. However, while not including a motor for each actuator will avoid the problem of synchronization between the sprays of different bottles, there will be the following additional problem, that is, an additional adjustment mechanism must be included in each actuator so that the movement of the motor acts differently on each actuator, thus acting more or less in intensity according to the selected spray percentage.

[0098] Figure 10 Shows Figure 9The base (19), which carries a bottle already located in the housing (24), further comprises a refill bottle (21) received in a central clearance (20) defined by the base (19) and a collector (22) fixed to the bottle below the atomizing nozzle (2).

[0099] This configuration is suitable for the following embodiments: wherein the spraying rate is very small such that instead of spraying, the bottle ejects liquid streams through the atomizing nozzle (2), and these liquid streams fall onto the collector (22) and reach the refill bottle (21) through the central hole (23). Therefore, the motor speed must be adjustable by the user. To this end, the system may include a button that the user can reach to select between the spraying position and the stream position. Alternatively, the button may be electronic such that the position can be selected from an electronic application in a control device such as a mobile phone, computer, tablet, etc.

[0100] The collector may include a screen (not shown) that is intended to cause the liquid to strike the screen and fall into the collector (22) rather than flow out of the collector (22) in the case where the release of the liquid perfume is stronger than expected.

[0101] Finally, it must be taken into account that the present invention is not limited to the embodiments described herein. Those skilled in the art can perform other configurations based on this specification. Therefore, the scope of the present invention is defined by the appended claims.
