Abstract

Products are provided that include: 1) a compressed sponge including height, length, and width; 2) drying the soap on and / or in the compressed sponge; wherein the soap and the compressed sponge are configured such that when the product is placed under water flow, the soap rehydrates and the height of the compressed sponge expands by about three times. In some embodiments, the height when compressed is about 1 / 3 inch and the height when the sponge expands is about 1 inch.
