Abstract
Description
Variable aperture device and camera module Technical Field
[0001] The present invention relates to the field of photography, and in particular to a variable aperture device and a photography module. Background Art
[0002] The aperture area affects the amount of light passing through the camera device, thereby affecting the brightness and depth of field of the camera device. It is understandable that the larger the aperture area, the greater the amount of light passing through the camera device, which makes the camera device have a brighter image and a more blurred background. Correspondingly, the smaller the aperture area, the smaller the amount of light passing through the camera device, which makes the image of the camera device have more details. The change of the aperture area of the existing variable aperture device is achieved by driving the blades to rotate by a drive assembly, wherein the drive assembly uses a coil and a magnet to cooperate with each other to provide driving force. The problem with the drive assembly of the existing variable aperture device is that the driving force that can be provided by the coil and the magnet will change abruptly as the blades rotate, making it difficult to control. In addition, the existing variable aperture device has the defect of large assembly tolerance, which makes its accuracy difficult to control.

[0076] With reference to Figures 1 to 9B of the accompanying drawings of the present invention, a camera module according to a first preferred embodiment of the present invention will be disclosed and explained in the following description, wherein the camera module includes a variable aperture device 1000 and a camera device 2000, wherein the variable aperture device 1000 has an aperture hole 1100 whose light intake amount can be continuously adjusted, wherein the variable aperture device 1000 is disposed in the light incident path of the camera device 2000, and the aperture hole 1100 of the variable aperture device 1000 corresponds to the lens of the camera device 2000, allowing incident light to enter the lens of the camera device 2000 after passing through the aperture hole 1100 of the variable aperture device 1000. The variable aperture device 1000 changes the light intake amount of the camera device 2000 by adjusting the light transmission amount of the aperture hole 1100.
[0077] Turning now to Figures 2A to 9B , the variable aperture device 1000 includes a base 10, a rotating member 20, at least one driving unit 30, and a blade assembly 40. The rotating member 20 is configured to rotate relative to the base 10. The blade assembly 40 includes a plurality of blades 41, each of which is rotatably mounted on the base 10 and slidably connected to the rotating member 20. The blades 41 define the aperture 1100, whose light transmission amount can be continuously adjusted. The driving unit 30 includes a driving coil 31 and a driving magnet 32, which are arranged opposite each other in the radial direction (the direction of the X-axis and Y-axis in the coordinate system of Figure 1 ). One of the driving coil 31 and the driving magnet 32 is disposed on the base 10, and the other is disposed on the rotating member 20. When the driving coil 31 is energized, the driving coil 31 and the driving magnet 32 work together to drive the rotating member 20 to rotate relative to the base 10, thereby driving the blades 41 to rotate relative to the base 10 respectively, so as to continuously adjust the amount of light passing through the aperture hole 1100.
[0078] In this specific example of the variable aperture device 1000 of the present invention, the drive coil 31 includes two coil units 311, which are arranged side by side to form a central active area 312 of the drive coil 31 at adjacent locations of the two coil units 311. It will be appreciated that because the central active area 312 of the drive coil 31 is formed by the two coil units 311 arranged side by side, the coil layout range of the central active area 312 of the drive coil 31 is increased. The drive magnet 32 is arc-shaped and radially magnetized, such that its two magnetic poles are arranged radially. For example, in some embodiments, the north pole of the drive magnet 32 is located outside the south pole, or in some embodiments, the south pole of the drive magnet 32 is located outside the north pole. The driving coil 31 and the driving magnet 32 are arranged face to face. When the driving coil 31 is energized to allow the driving unit 30 to generate a driving force to drive the rotating member 20 to rotate relative to the base 10, the magnetic lines of force of the driving magnet 32 can always be vertically injected into the central use area 312 of the driving coil 31, thereby not only reducing the problem of magnetic force attenuation in the process of adjusting the light transmittance of the aperture hole 1100 of the variable aperture device 1000, but also increasing the magnetic effectiveness range of the variable aperture device 1000, so as to solve the problem of sudden change in driving force in the process of adjusting the light transmittance of the aperture hole 1100 of the variable aperture device 1000.
[0079] Preferably, the driving coil 31 is manufactured by the FPcoil process. Compared with a conventional coil manufactured by winding a coil body by a winding process and mounting the coil body on a PCB, the driving coil 31 of the variable aperture device 1000 of the present invention has a thinner size and more wire layers, so that the driving unit 30 can provide greater driving force.
[0080] Preferably, with continued reference to Figures 2A to 9B , in this specific example of the variable aperture device 1000 of the present invention, the rotating member 20 has an annular through-hole 201, and the aperture hole 1100 is formed at the top of the annular through-hole 201 of the rotating member 20. The rotating member 20 is capable of preventing external light from entering the light incident path of the camera device 2000 in the circumferential direction of the variable aperture device 1000 (the direction of the C-axis in the coordinate system of Figure 1 , where the C-axis direction surrounds the optical axis of the camera module) to reduce stray light. More preferably, at least a portion of the lens of the camera device 2000 can extend into the annular through-hole 201 of the rotating member 20, allowing the rotating member 20 to rotate around the lens of the camera device 2000.
[0081] Continuing with reference to FIG. 2A to FIG. 9B , the base 10 has a base through-hole 101, and the rotating member 20 is rotatably mounted in the base through-hole 101 of the base 10, allowing the rotating member 20 to be driven and rotated within the base through-hole 101 of the base 10. In this way, the rotating member 20 can be hidden in the base through-hole 101 of the base 10, thereby ensuring the reliability of the variable aperture device 1000. Alternatively, in other examples of the variable aperture device 1000 of the present invention, the base 10 can be mounted in the ring through-hole 201 of the rotating member 20, allowing the rotating member 20 to rotate around the base 10, wherein at least a portion of the lens of the camera device 2000 can extend into and be fixed to the base through-hole 101 of the base 10.
[0082] Turning now to Figures 2A to 3B, 9A, and 9B, the drive coil 31 of the drive unit 30 is disposed on the base 10, and the drive magnet 32 is disposed on the rotating member 20. The center portion of the drive magnet 32 protrudes toward the central operating area 312 of the drive coil 31. In this manner, on the one hand, the base 10 is the fixed portion of the variable aperture device 1000 of the present invention, and the rotating member 20 is the movable portion of the variable aperture device 1000 of the present invention. Disposing the drive coil 31 on the base 10 and the drive magnet 32 on the rotating member 20 facilitates conducting the circuit of the drive coil 31 and ensures reliable electrical connection. On the other hand, during the process of adjusting the light transmittance of the aperture hole 1100 of the variable aperture device 1000, the central operating area 312 of the drive coil 31 and the drive magnet 32 are always at a small distance from each other, thereby preventing magnetic force attenuation and abrupt changes in driving force.
[0083] Now turning to Figures 3A, 3B and 8, the base 10 has at least one wire groove 102, which extends from the outer wall to the inner wall of the base 10 to connect the base through-hole 101 of the base 10 and the outside. The drive coil 31 is assembled in the wire groove 102 of the base 10, and the central use area 312 of the drive coil 31 is exposed to the base through-hole 101 of the base 10 to set the drive coil 31 on the base 10. The rotating member 20 has at least one retaining groove 202, which extends from the outer peripheral wall of the rotating member 20 toward the inner peripheral wall to allow the retaining groove 202 to form an opening in the radial direction of the rotating member 20. The driving magnet 32 is assembled in the retaining groove 202 of the rotating member 20, and the surface of the driving magnet 32 is exposed in the radial direction of the rotating member 20, so as to set the driving magnet 32 on the base 10. The wire placement groove 102 of the base 10 and the retaining groove 202 of the rotating member 20 correspond to each other in the radial direction, and the wire placement groove 102 of the base 10 is located outside the retaining groove 202 of the rotating member 20, so that the driving coil 31 and the driving magnet 32 correspond to each other in the radial direction, and the driving coil 31 is located outside the driving magnet 32.
[0084] By setting the driving coil 31 in the wire groove 102 of the base 10 and setting the driving magnet 32 in the holding groove 202 of the rotating member 20, the driving unit 30 does not need to occupy additional radial space, which is conducive to reducing the length and width of the variable aperture device 1000.
[0085] In addition, because the wire groove 102 of the base 10 extends from the outer peripheral wall to the inner peripheral wall of the base 10, after the drive coil 31 is assembled in the wire groove 102 of the base 10, the outer side of the drive coil 31 is exposed to the outer peripheral wall of the base 10, thereby facilitating electrical connection of the drive coil 31. Furthermore, the variable aperture device 1000 allows the outer opening of the wire groove 102 to be formed in the outer peripheral wall of the base 10, so that the drive coil 31 can be assembled in the wire groove 102 of the base 10 in the radial direction, thereby facilitating the introduction of an automated process for assembling the drive coil 31 and the base 10, thereby ensuring assembly accuracy while improving assembly efficiency.
[0086] Preferably, in this specific example of the variable aperture device 1000 of the present invention, the number of the wire placement slots 102 of the base 10 is two, and the two wire placement slots 102 are symmetrically arranged. The number of the holding slots 202 of the rotating member 20 is two, and the two holding slots 202 are symmetrically arranged. Accordingly, the number of the driving units 30 is two, and the driving coils 31 of the two driving units 30 are respectively arranged in each of the wire placement slots 102 of the base 10, and the driving magnets 32 of the two driving units 30 are respectively arranged in the holding slots 202 of the rotating member 20. In this way, when the driving coils 31 of the two driving units 30 are energized at the same time, the two driving units 30 can provide balanced driving force on opposite sides of the rotating member 20, thereby avoiding the tilting problem of the rotating member 20 caused by unilateral force.
[0087] Now turning to Figures 3A and 3B, the base 10 further includes an annular base 11 and two arc-shaped supporting arms 12, and the two supporting arms 12 extend upward from the left and right sides of the base 11 in a mutually spaced and symmetrical manner, so that a wire groove 102 is formed above the base 11 by a pair of adjacent ends of the two supporting arms 12, and another wire groove 102 is formed above the base 11 by another pair of adjacent ends of the two supporting arms 12.
[0088] Preferably, each end of the supporting arm 12 is recessed inward to form a supporting block 121, and opposite sides of the driving coil 31 are respectively supported by the supporting blocks 121 of two adjacent supporting arms 12. When the driving coil 31 is energized, the supporting blocks 121 of the supporting arm 12 prevent the driving magnet 32 from pulling the driving coil 31 toward the rotating member 20, so that the driving coil 31 is stably arranged in the wire placement groove 102 of the base 10. In addition, since the supporting blocks 121 of the supporting arm 12 are formed by the end of the supporting arm 12 being recessed inward, after the driving coil 31 is assembled in the wire placement groove 102 of the base 10, the outer side of the driving coil 31 does not protrude from the outer peripheral wall of the base 10, which is conducive to reducing the radial size of the variable aperture device 100.
[0089] Preferably, the bottom side of the driving coil 31 is supported by the base 11, that is, the opposite sides and the bottom side of the driving coil 31 are respectively supported by the supporting blocks 121 of the two supporting arms 12 and the base 11, so that when the driving coil 31 is energized, the supporting arms 12 and the base 11 cooperate with each other, which can not only prevent the driving magnet 32 from pulling the driving coil 31 toward the rotating part 20, but also prevent the driving coil 31 from tilting in the axial direction (Z-axis direction in the coordinate system of Figure 1), so that the driving coil 31 can be stably set in the wire groove 102 of the base 10.
[0090] Furthermore, the base 11 is provided with at least one positioning column 111, and the positioning column 111 is located in the wire groove 102 of the base 10, and the bottom side of the drive coil 31 has at least one positioning hole 313, wherein after the drive coil 31 is assembled in the wire groove 102 of the base 10, the positioning column 111 of the base 11 is positioned in the positioning hole 313 of the drive coil 31, so that in the axial direction, the drive coil 31 is prevented from moving relative to the base 10, so that the drive coil 31 is stably set in the wire groove 102 of the base 10.
[0091] Now turning to Figures 3A, 3B, 4 and 6, the number of the blades 41 of the blade group 40 is multiple, and these blades 41 respectively have a pivot end 411 and a swing end 412 corresponding to the pivot end 411, wherein the pivot ends 411 of these blades 41 are respectively rotatably mounted on the top of the supporting arm 12 of the base 10, the middle parts of these blades 41 are respectively slidably connected to the top of the rotating member 20, and the swing ends 412 of these blades 41 are respectively swingably set at the top of the ring body through-hole 201 of the rotating member 20, so as to define the aperture hole 1100 with continuously adjustable light transmission amount by the swing ends 412 of these blades 41 at the top of the ring body through-hole 201 of the rotating member 20.
[0092] In other words, the swinging ends 412 of the blades 41 of the blade group 40 jointly define the aperture hole 1100 of the variable aperture device 1000. By allowing the swinging ends 412 of the blades 41 to swing, the amount of light passing through the aperture hole 1100 of the variable aperture device 1000 can be adjusted to change the amount of light entering the camera device 2000.
[0093] Specifically, when the driving coil 31 is energized and the driving unit 30 is allowed to drive the rotating member 20 to rotate in the base through-hole 101 of the base 10, the rotating member 20 drives each of the blades 41 so that the middle portion of each blade 41 slides relative to the rotating member 20 and the pivot end 411 of each blade 41 rotates relative to the base 10, so that the swing end 412 of each blade 41 can swing at the top of the ring through-hole 201 of the rotating member 20 respectively to adjust the amount of light passing through the aperture hole 1100 of the variable aperture device 1000 and change the amount of light entering the camera device 2000.
[0094] It is worth noting that the manner in which the pivot end 411 of the blade 41 is rotatably mounted on the top end of the supporting arm 12 of the base 10 is not limited in the variable aperture device 1000 of the present invention. For example, in the specific example of the variable aperture device 1000 shown in Figures 2A to 9B , a plurality of pivot posts 122 are provided at the top end of the supporting arm 12 of the base 10, and each blade 41 is provided with a blade hole 413 at the pivot end 411. The diameter of the pivot posts 122 of the supporting arm 12 matches the diameter of the blade hole 413 of the blade 41. This allows the blade 41 to rotate about the pivot posts 122 of the supporting arm 12 after the pivot posts 122 of the supporting arm 12 are mounted in the blade hole 413 of the blade 41 and the pivot end 411 of the blade 41 is rotatably mounted on the top end of the supporting arm 12. Preferably, the blade hole 413 of the blade 41 is a through hole that passes through two opposite sides of the blade 41 .
[0095] It is worth noting that the manner in which the middle portion of the blade 41 is slidably connected to the rotating member 20 is not limited in the variable aperture device 1000 of the present invention. For example, in the specific example of the variable aperture device 1000 shown in Figures 2A to 9B, a plurality of sliding posts 203 are provided at the top of the rotating member 20, and each blade 41 has a sliding groove 414 at the middle portion thereof. The sliding groove 414 extends between the pivot end 411 and the swing end 412. The width of the sliding groove 414 of the blade 41 matches the diameter of the sliding post 203 of the rotating member 20, and the length of the sliding groove 414 of the blade 41 is greater than the diameter of the sliding post 203 of the rotating member 20. In this way, When the driving coil 31 is energized to drive the rotating member 20 to rotate in the base through-hole 101 of the base 10, as the sliding column 203 of the rotating member 20 slides in the sliding groove 414 of the blade 41, the pivot end 411 of the blade 41 rotates relative to the base 10, so that the swinging end 412 of the blade 41 can swing at the top of the ring through-hole 201 of the rotating member 20 to adjust the amount of light passing through the aperture hole 1100 of the variable aperture device 1000 and change the amount of light entering the camera device 2000.
[0096] It can be understood that by providing the sliding groove 414 extending between the pivot end 411 and the swing end 412 in the middle part of the blade 41 and allowing the sliding column 203 of the rotating member 20 to slide in the sliding groove 414 of the blade 41, the rotation stroke and movement path of the rotating member 20 are restricted, so as to improve the swinging accuracy of the swinging end 412 of the blade 41 and facilitate accurate control of the light transmittance of the aperture hole 1100 of the variable aperture device 1000.
[0097] It is worth mentioning that the specific number of blades 41 of the blade assembly 40 is not limited in the variable aperture device 1000 of the present invention. For example, in the specific example of the variable aperture device 1000 shown in Figures 2A to 9B, the number of blades 41 of the blade assembly 40 is six. To avoid interference between the blades 41 and to minimize the height of the variable aperture device 1000, three of the six blades 41 are arranged in an upper layer, each defined as an upper blade 41a, and the other three are arranged in a lower layer, each defined as a lower blade 41b. In addition, from a top view, one lower blade 41b is arranged between two adjacent upper blades 41a, and one upper blade 41a is arranged between two adjacent lower blades 41b, so that the three upper blades 41a and the three lower blades 41b are arranged spaced apart from each other around the optical axis of the camera module.
[0098] Preferably, from a top-down perspective, the swinging end 412 of an upper blade 41a is stacked above the swinging end 412 of an adjacent lower blade 41b, so that: on the one hand, the swinging ends 412 of the three upper blades 41a and the swinging ends 412 of the three lower blades 41b can cooperate with each other to form a regular aperture hole 1100, for example, the shape of the aperture hole 1100 can be hexagonal, and on the other hand, the swinging end 412 of the lower blade 41b can support the swinging end 412 of the upper blade 41a upward to avoid the problem of the swinging end 412 of the upper blade 41a being bent downward due to gravity.
[0099] In order to avoid the problem that the swing ends 412 of the lower blades 41b of the blade group 40 are bent and deformed downward due to gravity, referring to Figures 3A, 3B, 4 and 6, the variable aperture device 1000 further includes a support ring 50, and the support ring 50 has a light-through hole 51, wherein the support ring 50 is supported by at least one of the base 10 and the rotating member 20, and the light-through hole 51 of the support ring 50 corresponds to the ring body through hole 201 of the rotating member 20, wherein the lower blades 41b are supported by the support ring 50, so that the support ring 50 supports the lower blades 41b and avoids the problem that the swing ends 412 of the lower blades 41b are bent and deformed downward due to gravity.
[0100] Preferably, the size of the light hole 51 of the support ring 50 is larger than the size of the aperture hole 1100 of the variable aperture device 1000 when the light transmission amount is maximum, so as to prevent the support ring 50 from affecting the light input amount of the camera device 2000.
[0101] In some embodiments of the variable aperture device 1000 of the present invention, the support ring 50 is made of a light-absorbing material to absorb light radiated from the gaps between adjacent blades 41 of the blade assembly 40 toward the support ring 50, thereby reducing stray light and improving the imaging quality of the camera module. In some other embodiments of the variable aperture device 1000 of the present invention, the top surface of the support ring 50 and / or the inner wall of the support ring 50 used to form the light-through hole 51 can be provided with a light-absorbing layer or formed with a light-absorbing layer to absorb light radiated from the gaps between adjacent blades 41 of the blade assembly 40 toward the support ring 50, thereby reducing stray light and improving the imaging quality of the camera module.
[0102] Now turning to Figures 3A, 3B, 4 and 6, in this specific example of the variable aperture device 1000 of the present invention, the support ring 50 is fixedly mounted on the top end of the supporting arm 12 of the base 10 so that the support ring 50 is supported by the supporting arm 12, wherein the support ring 50 has a plurality of avoidance holes 52, and the avoidance holes 52 correspond to the moving path of the sliding column 203 of the rotating part 20 and allow the sliding column 203 of the rotating part 20 to penetrate and protrude from the top surface of the support ring 50, so that the support ring 50 avoids the sliding column 203 of the rotating part 20.
[0103] It is worth mentioning that the manner in which the support ring 50 is fixedly mounted on the top of the supporting arm 12 of the base 10 is not limited in the variable aperture device 1000 of the present invention. For example, in the specific example of the variable aperture device 1000 shown in Figures 2A to 9B , the top of the supporting arm 12 of the base 10 is provided with at least one receiving groove 123 and at least one mounting post 124 located in the receiving groove 123. The support ring 50 has at least one extending arm 53 and at least one mounting hole 54 provided in the extending arm 53. The extending arm 53 of the support ring 50 extends to the receiving groove 123 of the supporting arm 12, and the mounting post 124 of the supporting arm 12 is mounted in the mounting hole 54 of the extending arm 53. In this manner, the support ring 50 is fixedly mounted on the top of the supporting arm 12 of the base 10.
[0104] Specifically, the top of each supporting arm 12 of the base 10 is respectively provided with two mutually spaced receiving grooves 103. Correspondingly, the support ring 50 has four mutually spaced extension arms 53. Each of the extension arms 53 of the support ring 50 extends to each of the receiving grooves 123 of each supporting arm 12, thereby preventing the support ring 50 from rotating relative to the base 10 in the circumferential direction.
[0105] Each of the receiving grooves 123 of the supporting arms 12 of the base 10 is provided with at least one mounting post 124. Thus, when any portion of the top end of each supporting arm 12 of the base 10 has a tendency to deform in a direction away from the optical axis of the camera module, the support ring 50 can pull the portion of the top end of the supporting arm 12 of the base 10 toward the direction close to the optical axis of the camera module, thereby preventing the portion of the top end of the supporting arm 12 of the base 10 from being displaced away from the optical axis of the camera device 2000. In other words, the support ring 50 can maintain the shape of the top end of each supporting arm 12 of the base 10, thereby preventing deformation of the top end of each supporting arm 12 of the base 10 and ensuring the stability of the variable aperture device 1000.
[0106] That is, the top ends of the two supporting arms 12 of the base 10 are respectively provided with two or more mounting posts 124, and the mounting posts 124 of the two supporting arms 12 are respectively installed in the mounting holes 54 at different positions of the support ring 50, so that the support ring 50 maintains the relative positional relationship of the rod ends of the two supporting arms 12, thereby preventing deformation of the top ends of the two supporting arms 12. Specifically, when the top end of one of the supporting arms 12 of the base 10 has a tendency to deform in a direction away from the optical axis of the camera module, the support ring 50 can pull the top end of the supporting arm 12 toward the direction close to the optical axis of the camera module to prevent the top end of the supporting arm 12 from being moved away from the optical axis of the camera module.
[0107] Preferably, the top of the rotating member 20 is provided with a plurality of spaced-apart support protrusions 204, and the bottom surface of the support ring 50 is supported against these support protrusions 204 of the rotating member 20 to ensure the flatness of the support ring 50. It is understood that when the driving coil 31 is energized to allow the driving unit 30 to drive the rotating member 20 to rotate within the base through-hole 101 of the base 10, the support protrusions 204 of the rotating member 20 slide relative to the support ring 50 at the bottom of the support ring 50.
[0108] Continuing with reference to Figures 1 to 4 and 6, the variable aperture device 1000 further includes a cover 60 having a cover through-hole 61. The cover 60 is disposed on the base 10 such that the cover through-hole 61 corresponds to the ring through-hole 201. From a top view, the cover 60 obscures the pivot end 411 of the blade 41 and the connection between the blade 41 and the rotating member 20, thereby concealing the interlocking portion of the blade 41. The interlocking portion of the blade 41 includes the connection between the blade 41 and the supporting arm 12 of the base 10, and the connection between the blade 41 and the rotating member 20, thereby protecting these components.
[0109] Preferably, the size of the housing through-hole 61 of the cover 60 is larger than the size of the aperture hole 1100 of the variable aperture device 1000 when the light transmission amount is maximum, so as to prevent the cover 60 from affecting the light input amount of the camera device 2000.
[0110] Preferably, the cover 60 has a plurality of avoidance grooves 62, and the avoidance grooves 62 correspond to the movement path of the sliding post 203 of the rotating member 20, so that the cover 60 avoids the sliding post 203 of the rotating member 20. More preferably, the avoidance grooves 62 of the cover 60 pass through opposite sides of the cover 60.
[0111] It is worth mentioning that the cover 60 has a plurality of fixing holes 63, and the pivot post 121 of the supporting arm 12 of the base 10 extends to and is fixed to the fixing holes 63 of the cover 60, so that the cover 60 is set at the top end of the supporting arm 12 of the base 10, and the base 10 and the cover 60 cooperate with each other so that the pivot post 122 of the supporting arm 12 is reliably installed in the blade hole 413 of the blade 41. In other words, the cover 60 and the base 10 are fixedly connected.
[0112] Continuing to refer to Figures 3A to 5, the variable aperture device 1000 further includes at least one ball 70 and at least one ball groove 80, wherein the ball groove 80 is formed between the base 10 and the rotating member 20, and the ball 70 is rollably arranged in the ball groove 80, wherein the rotating member 20 is suspended on the base through-hole 101 of the base 10 due to the action of the ball 70, and the ball 70 abuts against at least two surfaces of the base 10 and at least one surface of the rotating member 20. When the driving unit 30 drives the rotating member 20 to rotate in the base through hole 101 of the base 10, the ball 70 generates rolling friction with the base 10 and the rotating member 20, so that the rotating member 20 can be driven smoothly, thereby reducing the driving force requirement of the variable aperture device 1000 for the driving unit 30 and improving the sensitivity of the variable aperture device 1000.
[0113] Preferably, the number of the balls 70 and the ball grooves 80 of the variable aperture device 1000 can be multiple, so that the rotating member 20 can be stably suspended on the base through-hole 101 of the base 10. At the same time, when the driving coil 31 is energized and allows the driving unit 30 to drive the rotating member 20 to rotate, these balls 70 can prevent the rotating member 20 from tilting relative to the Z-axis direction in the coordinate system of Figure 1. For example, in the specific example of the variable aperture device 1000 shown in Figures 2A to 9B, the number of the balls 70 and the ball grooves 80 of the variable aperture device 1000 are both four, and the four ball grooves 80 are evenly arranged around the optical axis of the camera module so that the four balls 70 are evenly set around the optical axis of the camera module. In this way, the rotating member 20 can be stably suspended on the base through hole 101 of the base 10, and when the driving unit 30 drives the rotating member 20 to rotate, the rotating member 20 is prevented from tilting relative to the Z-axis direction in the coordinate system of Figure 1.
[0114] Continuing with reference to FIG. 3A through FIG. 5 , in this specific example of the variable aperture device 1000 of the present invention, the base 10 has at least one base ball groove 103, and the rotating member 20 has at least one annular ball groove 205. The position of the base ball groove 103 of the base 10 corresponds to the position of the annular ball groove 205 of the rotating member 20, thereby forming the ball groove 80 of the variable aperture device 1000 between the base 10 and the rotating member 20. The bottom of the ball 70 is rollably received in the base ball groove 103 of the base 10, while the top of the ball 70 is rollably received in the annular ball groove 205 of the rotating member 20. In this manner, the ball 70 is rollably disposed between the base 10 and the rotating member 20, so that the rotating member 20 is suspended by the ball 70 in the base through-hole 101 of the base 10.
[0115] Preferably, at least one of the at least two surfaces of the base 10 against which the ball 70 is abutted is a base vertical surface 104 and at least one is a base inclined surface 105, and at least one of the at least one surfaces of the rotating member 20 against which the ball 70 is abutted is a ring body inclined surface 206, and in the axial direction, the position of the base inclined surface 105 of the base 10 and the position of the ring body inclined surface 206 of the rotating member 20 correspond to each other, in this way, on the one hand, the ball 70 can be reliably retained in the base ball groove 103 of the base 10, and on the other hand, the base inclined surface 105 of the base 10 and the ring body inclined surface 206 of the rotating member 20 can offset the displacement gap of the ball 70 in the radial direction to avoid the displacement of the rotating member 20 relative to the base 10 in the radial direction.
[0116] In other words, the variable aperture device 1000 allows the position of the base inclined surface 105 of the base 10 and the position of the ring inclined surface 206 of the rotating member 20 to correspond to each other, so that the ball 70 has the following capabilities: first, whether in the axial direction or in the radial direction, the ball 70 creates a gap between the base 10 and the rotating member 20 to suspend the rotating member 20 in the base through-hole 101 of the base 10; second, the base inclined surface 105 of the base 10 and the ring inclined surface 206 of the rotating member 20 cooperate with each other to abut against the radial displacement gap of the ball 70 to prevent the radial gap between the base 10 and the rotating member 20 from changing, thereby preventing the rotating member 20 from being displaced relative to the base 10 in the radial direction when the drive coil 31 is energized and the drive unit 30 is allowed to drive the rotating member 20 to rotate.
[0117] More preferably, in the radial direction, the distance between the base inclined surface 105 of the base 10 and the optical axis of the camera module is smaller than the distance between the base vertical surface 104 of the base 10 and the optical axis of the camera module, that is, the base inclined surface 105 of the base 10 is located on the inner side of the base vertical surface 104, so that the base inclined surface 105 of the base 10 and the base inclined surface 205 of the rotating part 20 have the ability to push the ball 70 toward the direction away from the optical axis of the camera module to offset the displacement gap of the ball 70 in the radial direction, thereby avoiding the displacement of the rotating part 20 relative to the base 10 in the radial direction.
[0118] In other words, referring to Figure 5, the base vertical surface 104 of the base 10 is located on the outside of the ball 70, and the base inclined surface 105 of the base 10 is located below the inner side of the ball 70, so that when the rotating part 20 is assembled to the base through-hole 101 of the base 10, the ball 70 can be retained in the base ball groove 103 of the base 10 and is not easy to fall off. After the rotating part 20 is assembled to the base through-hole 101 of the base 10, the ball 70 can be reliably retained in the ball groove 80 of the variable aperture device 1000 formed between the base 10 and the rotating part 20. At the same time, the annular inclined surface 206 of the rotating member 20 is located above the inner side of the ball 70, and the base inclined surface 105 of the base 10 and the annular inclined surface 206 of the rotating member 20 have the ability to push the ball 70 toward the direction away from the optical axis of the camera module to offset the displacement gap of the ball 70 in the radial direction, thereby avoiding the displacement of the rotating member 20 relative to the base 10 in the radial direction.
[0119] Further, turning to Figures 3A, 4, and 5, the base 10 includes at least one ball seat 13, which is disposed at the connection between the base 11 and the supporting arm 12. The base ball groove 103 of the base 10 is formed between the ball seat 13 and the supporting arm 12. The height of the base ball groove 103 is raised by the ball seat 13. In this way, the variable aperture device 1000 can prevent the bottom end of the rotating member 20 from contacting the base 11 of the base 10. It can be understood that the inner peripheral wall of the supporting arm 12 forms the base vertical surface 104 of the base 10, and the surface of the ball seat 13 facing the inner peripheral wall of the supporting arm 12 forms the base inclined surface 105 of the base 10, so that the base vertical surface 104 of the base 10 is located outside the base inclined surface 105.
[0120] Specifically, in this specific example in which the variable aperture device 1000 of the present invention implements the number of the balls 70 as four, the number of the ball seats 13 of the base 10 is also four, and the four ball seats 13 are evenly arranged around the optical axis of the camera module.
[0121] Continuing to refer to Figures 3A, 3B and 6, the variable aperture device 1000 further includes at least one suspension unit 90, the suspension unit 90 includes a suspension magnet 91 and a magnetic sheet 92 arranged opposite to each other in the axial direction, one of the suspension magnet 91 and the magnetic sheet 92 is arranged on the base 10, and the other is arranged on the rotating member 20, wherein the suspension magnet 91 and the magnetic sheet 92 can generate a magnetic attraction force to prevent the rotating member 20 from detaching from the base through hole 101 of the base 10 in the axial direction, so that the rotating member 20 is reliably suspended on the base through hole 101 of the base 10.
[0122] Preferably, the number of the suspension units 90 is two, and the two suspension units 90 are arranged symmetrically to allow the two suspension units 90 to provide balanced magnetic attraction forces on opposite sides of the base 10 and the rotating member 20, thereby avoiding the problem of tilting of the base 10 and the rotating member 20 caused by unilateral force.
[0123] Preferably, in the specific example of the variable aperture device 1000 shown in FIG. 2A to FIG. 9B , the suspension magnet 91 of the suspension unit 90 is provided on the rotating member 20 , and the magnetic attraction sheet 92 is provided on the base 10 .
[0124] Furthermore, the bottom end of the rotating member 20 has at least one mounting groove 207, and the suspension magnet 91 is mounted in the mounting groove 207 of the rotating member 20, thereby disposing the suspension magnet 91 at the bottom end of the rotating member 20. By mounting the suspension magnet 91 in the mounting groove 207 of the rotating member 20, the variable aperture device 1000 not only ensures that the suspension magnet 91 is securely mounted on the rotating member 20, but also avoids the suspension magnet 91 occupying additional space in the axial direction, thereby facilitating a reduction in the height of the variable aperture device 1000.
[0125] Continuing with reference to FIG. 2B to FIG. 3B and FIG. 6 , the variable aperture device 1000 further includes a circuit board 100 and a position sensing element 110 mounted on the circuit board 100. The circuit board 100 is disposed at the bottom end of the base 10, for example, the circuit board 100 is mounted on a surface of the base 11 of the base 10 away from the rotating member 20. The position of the position sensing element 110 corresponds to the position of the suspension magnet 91 in the axial direction. The position sensing element 110 can sense the magnetic field strength of the suspension magnet 91 at different positions to determine the relative position of the rotating member 20 and the base 10, thereby obtaining the light transmission amount of the aperture hole 1100 of the variable aperture device 1000. The driving coil 31 is connected to the circuit board 100 to allow the circuit board 100 to supply power to the driving coil 31.
[0126] Preferably, the circuit board 100 has a plate through-hole 1001, and the circuit board 100 is mounted on the surface of the base 11 of the base 10 away from the rotating part 20 in a manner that the plate through-hole 1001 corresponds to the base through-hole 101, so as to set the circuit board 100 at the bottom end of the base 10.
[0127] In addition, the specific type of the position sensing element 110 is not limited in the variable aperture device 1000 of the present invention. For example, the position sensing element 110 may be a Hall effect element. Preferably, referring to Figures 6 and 8 , the base 11 of the base 10 has a notch 112 for accommodating the position sensing element 110, so as to avoid the position sensing element 110 occupying additional space in the axial and radial directions.
[0128] Preferably, the magnetic sheet 92 is mounted on the circuit board 100, that is, the magnetic sheet 92 is disposed on the base 10 through the circuit board 100. More preferably, the magnetic sheet 92 and the position sensing element 110 are located on opposite sides of the circuit board 100, and the position of the magnetic sheet 92 corresponds to the position sensing element 110 in the axial direction. In this way, on the one hand, the magnetic sheet 92 can ensure the flatness of the position sensing element 110 by reinforcing the flatness of the portion of the circuit board 100 where the position sensing element 110 is mounted, thereby ensuring the accuracy of the sensing results of the position sensing element 110. On the other hand, the magnetic sheet 92 can quickly dissipate heat from the position sensing element 110, thereby reducing the operating temperature of the position sensing element 110. In addition, the position of other electronic components 120 (e.g., a driver IC) mounted on the circuit board 100 and the position of the magnetic sheet 92 can also correspond in the axial direction. Preferably, the electronic component 120 is accommodated in the notch 112 of the base 11 .
[0129] Continuing to refer to Figures 3A, 3B and 7, the variable aperture device 1000 further includes at least one magnetic conductive element 130, which is arranged on the rotating member 20, and in the radial direction, the side of the driving magnet 32 away from the driving coil 31 corresponds to the magnetic conductive element 130, so that the magnetic conductive element 130 prevents the magnetic flux of the driving magnet 32 from leaking toward the side away from the driving coil 31, thereby ensuring the driving force of the driving unit 30.
[0130] It is worth noting that the manner in which the magnetic conductive element 130 is disposed on the rotating member 20 is not limited in the variable aperture device 1000 of the present invention. For example, in some embodiments, the magnetic conductive element 130 can be attached to the rotating member 20, and the driving magnet 32 can be attached to the magnetic conductive element 130 so that the side of the driving magnet 32 facing away from the driving coil 31 corresponds to the magnetic conductive element 130 in the radial direction. In the specific example of the variable aperture device 1000 of the present invention shown in Figures 2A to 9B, the magnetic conductive element 130 is an insert that is embedded within the rotating member 20 during injection molding. In the radial direction, the retaining groove 202 of the rotating member 20 corresponds to the magnetic conductive element 130. Thus, after the driving magnet 32 is disposed in the retaining groove 205 of the rotating member 20, the side of the driving magnet 32 facing away from the driving coil 31 corresponds to the magnetic conductive element 130.
[0131] Continuing to refer to Figure 7, in this specific example of the variable aperture device 1000 of the present invention, the magnetic element 130 includes a magnetic ring 131 and a magnetic arm 132 extending downward from the magnetic ring 131, wherein the magnetic ring 131 is embedded in its entirety into the interior of the rotating member 20 to reinforce the rotating member 20, wherein the surface of the magnetic arm 132 is exposed to the holding groove 202 of the rotating member 20. In this way, after the driving magnet 32 is set in the holding groove 202 of the rotating member 20, the side of the driving magnet 32 away from the driving coil 31 can be directly attached to the magnetic arm 132 of the magnetic element 130.
[0132] 3A, 3B and 8 , the variable aperture device 1000 further includes at least one insert 140, which is embedded in the base 10 and has at least one connecting terminal 141 at the top of the base 10. The connecting terminal 141 of the insert 140 is connected to the cover 60, thereby reliably setting the cover 60 at the top of the base 10.
[0133] 8 , in this specific example of the variable aperture device 1000 of the present invention, the variable aperture device 1000 includes two embedding members 140 , and each embedding member 140 is embedded in each supporting arm 12 of the base 10 .
[0134] Preferably, the connecting terminal 141 of the insert 140 and the cover body 60 are connected by a laser welding process to effectively increase the pulling force between the base 10 and the cover body 60, and avoid the problem of glue protruding from the cover body 60 caused by glue bonding in the traditional process and the problem of the anchor head protruding from the cover body 60 caused by the hot riveting process.
[0135] 9A and 9B , which illustrate a process in which the light flux of the aperture hole 1100 of the variable aperture device 1000 changes from small to large. Specifically, when the driving coil 31 is energized, the driving coil 31 and the driving magnet 32 work together to drive the rotating member 20 to rotate clockwise relative to the base 10. Since the sliding column 203 of the rotating member 20 extends to the sliding groove 414 in the middle of the blade 41, the rotating member 20 allows the sliding column 203 to slide in the sliding groove 414 of the blade 41 toward the swinging end 412 of the blade 41 when rotating clockwise. As the sliding column 203 of the rotating member 20 slides in the sliding groove 414 of the blade 41, the pivot end 411 of the blade 41 rotates counterclockwise relative to the base 10. At the same time, the swinging end 412 of the blade 41 swings outward at the top of the ring body through-hole 201 of the rotating member 20 to increase the amount of light passing through the aperture hole 1100 of the variable aperture device 1000. Correspondingly, when the driving coil 31 and the driving magnet 32 work together to drive the rotating member 20 to rotate counterclockwise relative to the base 10, the rotating member 20 allows the sliding column 203 to slide in the sliding groove 414 of the blade 41 in the direction of the pivot end 411 of the two blades 41. As the sliding column 203 of the rotating member 20 slides in the sliding groove 414 of the blade 41, the pivot end 411 of the blade 41 rotates clockwise relative to the base 10. At the same time, the swing end 412 of the blade 41 swings inward at the top of the ring body through-hole 201 of the rotating member 20 to reduce the amount of light passing through the aperture hole 1100 of the variable aperture device 1000.
[0136] Turning to Figures 3A and 3B , and continuing with Figures 9A and 9B , the drive coil 31 can be flat, with two coil units 311 of the drive coil 31 positioned side by side to form a central active area 312 of the drive coil 31 at adjacent locations of the two coil units 311. This increases the coil layout range of the central active area 312 of the drive coil 31. The two magnetic poles of the drive magnet 32 are arranged radially, and the drive magnet 32 is arc-shaped, with its center convex toward the central active area 312 of the drive coil 31. When the driving coil 31 is energized and the driving coil 31 and the driving magnet 32 are allowed to work together to drive the rotating part 20 to rotate clockwise or counterclockwise relative to the base 10, on the one hand, the magnetic lines of force of the driving magnet 32 can always be vertically shot into the central use area 312 of the driving coil 31 to solve the problem of magnetic force attenuation. On the other hand, the central use area 312 of the driving coil 31 and the driving magnet 32 always have a small distance to solve the problem of magnetic force attenuation and the problem of sudden change in driving force.
[0137] With reference to Figures 10, 11, and 12 of the accompanying drawings of the present invention, a camera module according to a second preferred embodiment of the present invention will be disclosed and explained in the following description, wherein the camera module includes a variable aperture device 1000 and a camera device 2000, wherein the variable aperture device 1000 has an aperture hole 1100 whose light transmission is continuously adjustable, wherein the variable aperture device 1000 is arranged in the light incident path of the camera device 2000, and the aperture hole 1100 of the variable aperture device 1000 corresponds to the lens 2100 of the camera device 2000, such that the incident light passing through the aperture hole 1100 of the variable aperture device 1000 can enter the interior of the camera device 2000 from the lens 2100 to form an image. The variable aperture device 1000 can change the amount of light entering the camera device 2000 by adjusting the light transmission of the aperture hole 1100.
[0138] Specifically, referring to Figures 13A to 17 , and continuing with Figures 10 to 12 , the variable aperture device 1000 includes a base 10, a rotating member 20, and a blade assembly 40. The base 10 includes a seat 11, an annular axial retaining wall 12, an annular radial retaining wall 13, and at least one support arm 14, and has a seat through-hole 101. The axial retaining wall 12 integrally extends upward from the inner side of the base 11, and the radial retaining wall 13 integrally extends inward from the top end of the axial retaining wall 12 to define the seat through-hole 101 of the base 10. The support arm 14 integrally extends upward from the outer side of the base 11. The rotating member 20 is rotatably disposed above the seat 11 of the base 10. The blade assembly 40 includes a plurality of blades 41, each rotatably mounted on the top of the support arm 14 of the base 10 and slidably connected to the top of the rotating member 20. These blades 41 define an aperture 1100 whose light transmission is continuously adjustable. It will be appreciated that the aperture 1100 of the variable aperture device 1000 corresponds to the base through-hole 101 of the base 10 at the top of the base 10. When the rotating member 20 is driven to rotate above the base 11 of the base 10 in a circumferential direction (the direction of the C-axis in the coordinate system of FIG. 10 , where the C-axis circumscribes the optical axis of the lens 2100), the blades 41 of the blade assembly 40 are driven and rotate relative to the base 10, continuously adjusting the light transmission through the aperture 1100 and thereby changing the amount of light entering the imaging device 2000.
[0139] 11 and 12 , a portion of the lens 2100 of the camera device 2000 extends to the base through-hole 101 of the base 10 to set the variable aperture device 1000 on the light incident path of the camera device 2000 .
[0140] The base 10 of the variable aperture device 1000 of the present invention provides the axial retaining wall 12 and the radial retaining wall 13. When the variable aperture device 1000 and the camera device 2000 are assembled, when the lens 2100 of the camera device 2000 enters the base through-hole 101 of the base 10, the radial retaining wall 13 of the base 10 can limit the entry position of the lens 2100. For example, the radial retaining wall 13 of the base 10 limits the entry position of the lens 2100 by abutting against the end face of the lens 2100 to prevent the lens 2100 from touching the movable part of the variable aperture device 1000, especially to prevent the lens 2100 from touching the blades 41 of the variable aperture device 1000. When the lens 2100 of the camera device 2000 enters the base through-hole 101 of the base 10, the end face of the lens 2100 can be supported on the radial retaining wall 13 of the base 10, so as to facilitate the adjustment of the distance between the lens 2100 and the blade 41 in the axial direction (Z-axis direction in the coordinate system of FIG. 10 ) when fixing the base 10 and the lens 2100, thereby improving the assembly accuracy of the variable aperture device 1000 and the camera device 2000.
[0141] It can be understood that after the lens 2100 of the camera device 2000 enters the base through-hole 101 of the base 10, the inner wall of the axial retaining wall 12 of the base 10 faces the outer peripheral wall of the lens 2100 in the radial direction (X-axis and Y-axis directions in the coordinate system of FIG10 ), and the inner wall of the radial retaining wall 13 faces the end face of the lens 2100 in the axial direction. Therefore, when using glue 3000 to fix the base 10 and the lens 2100, the glue 3000 can be arranged not only between the inner wall of the axial retaining wall 12 and the outer peripheral wall of the lens 2100 in the radial direction, but also between the inner wall of the radial retaining wall 13 and the end face of the lens 2100 in the axial direction, so as to stably assemble the variable aperture device 1000 and the camera device 2000. In other words, the base 10 is conducive to increasing the bonding area between the base 10 and the lens 2100 by providing the transverse retaining wall 12 and the radial retaining wall 13, so that the variable aperture device 1000 and the camera device 2000 can be stably assembled.
[0142] Preferably, referring to Figures 14A to 15C, the rotating member 20 is annular and has a ring body through hole 201, wherein the rotating member 20 is mounted on the axial retaining wall 12 in such a manner that the axial retaining wall 12 of the base 10 is rotatably retained in the ring body through hole 201, so as to rotatably set the rotating member 20 above the base 11 of the base 10.
[0143] It is worth mentioning that the height dimension of the rotating member 20 matches the height dimension of the axial retaining wall 12 of the base 10, so that the top of the rotating member 20 and the top of the radial retaining wall 13 of the base 10 can be roughly flush, which is conducive to improving the flatness of the blade 41.
[0144] Preferably, with continued reference to Figures 14A to 15C, the support arm 14 of the base 10 is annular, forming a rotation groove 102 between the base 11, the axial retaining wall 12, and the support arm 14. The height of the rotating member 20 matches the height of the support arm 14 of the base 10. Thus, after the rotating member 20 is assembled in the rotation groove 102 of the base 10, the rotating member 20 is invisible from a side view. That is, the rotating member 20 is rotatably disposed in the rotation groove 102 of the base 10, with the axial retaining wall 12 and the support arm 14 on the inner and outer sides, respectively. In this manner, the variable aperture device 1000 can effectively protect the rotating member 20, thereby improving the stability of the variable aperture device 1000. Furthermore, the top of the rotating member 20 can be substantially flush with the top of the support arm 14 of the base 10, thereby facilitating improved flatness of the blades 41.
[0145] In order to drive the rotating member 20 to rotate circumferentially above the base 11 of the base 10, the variable aperture device 1000 further includes at least one driving unit 30. The driving unit 30 includes a driving coil 31 and a driving magnet 32 disposed opposite each other. One of the driving coil 31 and the driving magnet 32 is disposed on the base 10, and the other is disposed on the rotating member 20. When the driving coil 31 is energized, the driving coil 31 and the driving magnet 32 work together to drive the rotating member 20 to rotate relative to the base 10, thereby driving the blades 41 to rotate relative to the base 10, thereby continuously adjusting the amount of light passing through the aperture 1100.
[0146] Preferably, in the specific example of the variable aperture device 1000 of the present invention shown in Figures 13A to 17 , the drive coil 31 and the drive magnet 32 are arranged relative to each other in the axial direction. That is, the length and width of the drive coil 31 and the drive magnet 32 both extend in the radial direction, which facilitates reducing the height of the variable aperture device 1000. For example, in the specific example of the variable aperture device 1000 of the present invention shown in Figures 13A to 17 , the size range of the variable aperture device 1000 can reach D13.6 mm × 2.4 mm.
[0147] It is worth mentioning that the base 10 is the fixed part of the variable aperture device 1000 of the present invention, and the rotating part 20 is the movable part of the variable aperture device 1000 of the present invention. Therefore, in this specific example of the variable aperture device 1000 of the present invention shown in Figures 13A to 17, the driving coil 31 is arranged on the base 11 of the base 10, and the driving magnet 32 is arranged at the bottom end of the rotating part 20. After the rotating part 20 is assembled in the rotating groove 102 of the base 10, the position of the driving coil 31 and the position of the driving magnet 32 are opposite in the axial direction, so as to facilitate the driving coil 31 to conduct the circuit and ensure the reliability of the electrical connection.
[0148] 14A and 14B , the base 10 has at least one wire placement groove 103, which is provided on the base 11 and connects the rotation groove 102 of the base 10 and the outside. The driving coil 31 is assembled in the wire placement groove 103 of the base 10 to dispose the driving coil 31 on the base 11. The rotating member 20 has at least one retaining groove 202, which extends from the bottom end of the rotating member 20 toward the top end to allow the retaining groove 202 to form an opening at the bottom end of the rotating member 20. The driving magnet 32 is assembled in the retaining groove 202 of the rotating member 20, and the surface of the driving magnet 32 is exposed in the radial direction of the rotating member 20 to dispose the driving magnet 32 on the rotating member 20. The wire placement groove 103 of the base 10 and the holding groove 202 of the rotating part 20 correspond to each other in the axial direction, and the wire placement groove 103 of the base 10 is located below the holding groove 202 of the rotating part 20, so that the driving coil 31 and the driving magnet 32 correspond to each other in the axial direction, and the driving coil 31 is located below the driving magnet 32.
[0149] By setting the driving coil 31 in the wire groove 103 of the base 10 and setting the driving magnet 32 in the holding groove 202 of the rotating part 20, the driving unit 30 does not need to occupy additional axial space, which is conducive to reducing the height of the variable aperture device 1000.
[0150] In addition, because the wire groove 103 of the base 10 is provided on the pedestal 11 and connects the rotation groove 102 of the base 10 and the outside, after the drive coil 31 is assembled in the wire groove 103 of the base 10, the bottom side of the drive coil 31 is exposed, thereby facilitating electrical connection of the drive coil 31. Furthermore, the variable aperture device 1000 allows the drive coil 31 to be assembled in the wire groove 103 of the base 10 in the axial direction. For example, in the specific example of the variable aperture device 1000 of the present invention shown in Figures 13A to 17, the drive coil 31 is allowed to be assembled in the wire groove 103 of the base 10 in the axial direction through the rotation groove 102 of the base 10, thereby facilitating the introduction of an automated process for assembling the drive coil 31 and the base 10, thereby ensuring assembly accuracy while improving assembly efficiency.
[0151] Preferably, in this specific example of the variable aperture device 1000 of the present invention, the number of the wire placement slots 103 of the base 10 is two, and the two wire placement slots 103 are symmetrically arranged on the base 11; the number of the holding slots 202 of the rotating member 20 is two, and the two holding slots 202 are symmetrically arranged; accordingly, the number of the driving units 30 is two, and the driving coils 31 of the two driving units 30 are respectively assembled in each of the wire placement slots 103 of the base 10; the driving magnets 32 of the two driving units 30 are respectively assembled in each of the holding slots 202 of the rotating member 20; in this way, when the driving coils 31 of the two driving units 30 are energized at the same time, the two driving units 30 can provide balanced driving force on opposite sides of the rotating member 20, thereby avoiding the tilting problem of the rotating member 20 caused by unilateral force.
[0152] Now turning to Figures 14A, 14B and 17, the number of the blades 41 of the blade group 40 is multiple, and these blades 41 respectively have a pivot end 411 and a swing end 412 corresponding to the pivot end 411, wherein the pivot ends 411 of these blades 41 are respectively rotatably mounted on the top of the support arm 14 of the base 10, the middle parts of these blades 41 are respectively slidably connected to the top of the rotating member 20, and the swing ends 412 of these blades 41 are respectively swingably set at the top of the base through-hole 101 of the base 10, so as to define the aperture hole 1100 with continuously adjustable light transmission amount by the swing ends 412 of these blades 41 at the top of the base through-hole 101 of the base 10. It can be understood that since the height dimension of the support arm 14 of the base 10 matches the height dimension of the rotating member 20, the top end of the support arm 14 and the top end of the rotating member 20 are roughly flush. Therefore, after the pivot end 411 of the blade 41 is rotatably mounted on the support arm 14 and the middle part of the blade 41 is slidably mounted on the rotating member 20, the support arm 14 and the rotating member 20 cooperate with each other to ensure the flatness of the blade 41.
[0153] In other words, the swinging ends 412 of the blades 41 of the blade group 40 jointly define the aperture hole 1100 of the variable aperture device 1000. By allowing the swinging ends 412 of the blades 41 to swing, the amount of light passing through the aperture hole 1100 of the variable aperture device 1000 can be adjusted to change the amount of light entering the camera device 2000.
[0154] Specifically, when the driving coil 31 is energized and allows the driving unit 30 to drive the rotating member 20 to rotate in the rotating groove 102 of the base 10, the rotating member 20 drives each of the blades 41 so that the middle part of each of the blades 41 slides relative to the rotating member 20 and the pivot end 411 of each of the blades 41 rotates relative to the support arm 14 of the base 10, so that the swing end 412 of each of the blades 41 can swing respectively at the top of the base through-hole 101 of the base 10 to adjust the amount of light passing through the aperture hole 1100 of the variable aperture device 1000 and change the amount of light entering the camera device 2000.
[0155] It is worth noting that the manner in which the pivot end 411 of the blade 41 is rotatably mounted on the top end of the support arm 14 of the base 10 is not limited in the variable aperture device 1000 of the present invention. For example, in the specific example of the variable aperture device 1000 shown in Figures 13A to 17 , a plurality of pivot posts 141 are provided at the top end of the support arm 14 of the base 10. Each blade 41 is provided with a blade hole 413 at the pivot end 411. The diameter of the pivot posts 141 of the support arm 14 matches the diameter of the blade hole 413 of the blade 41. This allows the blade 41 to rotate about the pivot posts 141 of the support arm 14 after the pivot posts 141 of the support arm 14 are mounted to the blade hole 413 of the blade 41 and the pivot end 411 of the blade 41 is rotatably mounted to the top end of the support arm 14. Preferably, the blade hole 413 of the blade 41 is a through hole that passes through two opposite sides of the blade 41 .
[0156] It is worth mentioning that the manner in which the middle portion of the blade 41 is slidably connected to the rotating member 20 is not limited in the variable aperture device 1000 of the present invention. For example, in the specific example of the variable aperture device 1000 shown in Figures 13A to 17, a plurality of sliding posts 203 are provided at the top of the rotating member 20, and each blade 41 has a sliding groove 414 in the middle portion. In this way, in the embodiment of the variable aperture device 1000, the sliding posts 203 are provided at the top of the rotating member 20. When the driving coil 31 is energized to drive the rotating part 20 to rotate in the rotating groove 102 of the base 10, as the sliding column 203 of the rotating part 20 slides in the sliding groove 414 of the blade 41, the pivot end 411 of the blade 41 rotates relative to the support arm 14 of the base 10, so that the swinging end 412 of the blade 41 can swing at the top of the base through-hole 103 of the base 10 to adjust the amount of light passing through the aperture hole 1100 of the variable aperture device 1000 and change the amount of light entering the camera device 2000.
[0157] It can be understood that by providing the sliding groove 414 extending between the pivot end 411 and the swing end 412 in the middle part of the blade 41 and allowing the sliding column 203 of the rotating member 20 to slide in the sliding groove 414 of the blade 41, the rotation stroke and movement path of the rotating member 20 are restricted, so as to improve the swinging accuracy of the swinging end 412 of the blade 41 and facilitate accurate control of the light transmittance of the aperture hole 1100 of the variable aperture device 1000.
[0158] It is worth noting that the specific number of blades 41 of the blade assembly 40 is not limited in the variable aperture device 1000 of the present invention. For example, in the specific example of the variable aperture device 1000 shown in Figures 13A to 17 , the blade assembly 40 includes six blades 41. To prevent interference between the blades 41 and minimize the height of the variable aperture device 1000, three of the six blades 41 are arranged in an upper layer, each defined as an upper blade 41 a, and the other three are arranged in a lower layer, each defined as a lower blade 41 b. Furthermore, from a top view, one lower blade 41 b is arranged between two adjacent upper blades 41 a, and one upper blade 41 a is arranged between two adjacent lower blades 41 b. As a result, the three upper blades 41 a and the three lower blades 41 b are spaced apart from each other around the optical axis of the lens 2100.
[0159] Preferably, from a top-down perspective, the swinging end 412 of an upper blade 41a is stacked above the swinging end 412 of an adjacent lower blade 41b, so that: on the one hand, the swinging ends 412 of the three upper blades 41a and the swinging ends 412 of the three lower blades 41b can cooperate with each other to form a regular aperture hole 1100, for example, the shape of the aperture hole 1100 can be hexagonal, and on the other hand, the swinging end 412 of the lower blade 41b can support the swinging end 412 of the upper blade 41a upward to avoid the problem of the swinging end 412 of the upper blade 41a being bent downward due to gravity.
[0160] In some embodiments, since the height dimension of the axial retaining wall 12 of the base 10 matches the height dimension of the rotating member 20, the top of the radial retaining wall 13 is roughly flush with the top of the rotating member 20. Therefore, the radial retaining wall 13 of the base 10 can support the lower blade 41b upward, so that the radial retaining wall 13 of the base 10 can prevent the swinging end 412 of the lower blade 41b from bending downward due to gravity, thereby helping to ensure the flatness of the lower blade 41b.
[0161] In this specific example of the variable aperture device 1000 shown in Figures 13A to 17, the variable aperture device 1000 further includes a support ring 50, which has a light-through hole 51, wherein the support ring 50 is arranged on the radial retaining wall 13 of the base 10, for example, the support ring 50 can be attached to the top of the radial retaining wall 13 of the base 10 by glue, and the light-through hole 51 of the support ring 50 corresponds to the base through hole 101 of the base 10, wherein the lower blade 41b is supported by the support ring 50, so that the support ring 50 supports the lower blade 41b to avoid the problem of the swing end 412 of the lower blade 41 being bent downward due to gravity, thereby ensuring the flatness of the lower blade 41b.
[0162] Preferably, the size of the light hole 51 of the support ring 50 is larger than the size of the aperture hole 1100 of the variable aperture device 1000 when the light transmission amount is maximum, so as to prevent the support ring 50 from affecting the light input amount of the camera device 2000.
[0163] In some embodiments of the variable aperture device 1000 of the present invention, the support ring 50 is made of a light-absorbing material to absorb light radiated from the gaps between adjacent blades 41 of the blade assembly 40 toward the support ring 50, thereby reducing stray light and improving the imaging quality of the camera module.
[0164] Continuing with reference to Figures 10 to 15C , the variable aperture device 1000 further includes a cover 60 having a cover through-hole 61. The cover 60 is disposed on the support arm 14 of the base 10 such that the cover through-hole 61 corresponds to the base through-hole 101. From a top view, the cover 60 obscures the pivot end 411 of the blade 41 and the connection between the blade 41 and the rotating member 20, thereby concealing the interlocking portion of the blade 41. The interlocking portion of the blade 41 includes the connection between the blade 41 and the support arm 14 of the base 10, and the connection between the blade 41 and the rotating member 20, thereby protecting these components.
[0165] Preferably, the size of the cover through hole 61 of the cover 60 is larger than the size of the aperture hole 1100 of the variable aperture device 1000 when the light transmission amount is maximum, so as to prevent the cover 60 from affecting the light input amount of the camera device 2000.
[0166] Preferably, the cover 60 has a plurality of avoidance grooves 62, and the avoidance grooves 62 correspond to the movement path of the sliding post 203 of the rotating member 20, so that the cover 60 avoids the sliding post 203 of the rotating member 20. More preferably, the avoidance grooves 62 of the cover 60 pass through opposite sides of the cover 60.
[0167] The cover 60 has a plurality of fixing holes 63. The pivot posts 141 of the support arms 14 of the base 10 extend to and are fixed to the fixing holes 63 of the cover 60, so that the cover 60 is positioned at the top of the support arms 14 of the base 10. The base 10 and the cover 60 cooperate with each other so that the pivot posts 141 of the support arms 14 are securely mounted in the blade holes 413 of the blades 41. In other words, the cover 60 and the base 10 are fixedly connected. In addition, the cover 60 has a plurality of positioning slots 64. The top of the support arms 14 of the base 10 is provided with a plurality of positioning blocks 142. These positioning blocks 142 of the support arms 14 are respectively positioned in the positioning slots 64 of the cover 60.
[0168] Turning to Figures 14A, 14B, 15C and 16, the variable aperture device 1000 further includes at least one ball 70 and at least one ball groove 80, wherein the ball groove 80 is formed between the base 10 and the rotating member 20, and the ball 70 is rollably arranged in the ball groove 80, wherein the rotating member 20 is suspended in the rotating groove 102 of the base 10 due to the action of the ball 70, and the ball 70 abuts against at least two surfaces of the base 10 and at least one surface of the rotating member 20. When the driving unit 30 drives the rotating member 20 to rotate in the rotating groove 102 of the base 10, the ball 70 generates rolling friction with the base 10 and the rotating member 20, so that the rotating member 20 can be driven smoothly, thereby reducing the driving force requirement of the variable aperture device 1000 for the driving unit 30 and improving the sensitivity of the variable aperture device 1000.
[0169] Preferably, the number of the balls 70 and the ball grooves 80 of the variable aperture device 1000 can be multiple, so that the rotating member 20 can be stably suspended on the rotating groove 102 of the base 10. At the same time, when the driving coil 31 is energized and allows the driving unit 30 to drive the rotating member 20 to rotate, these balls 70 can prevent the rotating member 20 from tilting relative to the Z-axis direction in the coordinate system of Figure 10. For example, in the specific example of the variable aperture device 1000 shown in Figures 13A to 17, the number of the balls 70 and the ball grooves 80 of the variable aperture device 1000 are both four, and the four ball grooves 80 are evenly arranged around the optical axis of the lens 2100 so that the four balls 70 are evenly set around the optical axis of the lens 2100. In this way, the rotating member 20 can be stably suspended in the rotating groove 102 of the base 10, and when the driving unit 30 drives the rotating member 20 to rotate, the rotating member 20 is prevented from tilting relative to the Z-axis direction in the coordinate system of Figure 10.
[0170] Continuing to refer to Figures 14A, 14B, 15C and 16, in this specific example of the variable aperture device 1000 of the present invention, the base 10 has at least one base ball groove 104, and the rotating member 20 has at least one ring ball groove 204, wherein the position of the base ball groove 104 of the base 10 corresponds to the position of the ring ball groove 204 of the rotating member 20, so as to form the ball groove 80 of the variable aperture device 1000 between the base 10 and the rotating member 20. The bottom of the ball 70 is rollably received in the base ball groove 104 of the base 10, and the top of the ball 70 is rollably received in the ring ball groove 204 of the rotating member 20, so that the ball 70 is rollably arranged between the base 10 and the rotating member 20, so that the rotating member 20 is suspended in the rotating groove 102 of the base 10 by the ball 70.
[0171] Preferably, at least one of the at least two surfaces of the base 10 against which the ball 70 is abutted is a base vertical surface 105 and at least one is a base inclined surface 106, and at least one of the at least one surfaces of the rotating member 20 against which the ball 70 is abutted is a ring body inclined surface 205, and in the axial direction, the position of the base inclined surface 106 of the base 10 and the position of the ring body inclined surface 205 of the rotating member 20 correspond to each other, in this way, on the one hand, the ball 70 can be reliably retained in the base ball groove 104 of the base 10, and on the other hand, the base inclined surface 106 of the base 10 and the ring body inclined surface 205 of the rotating member 20 can offset the displacement gap of the ball 70 in the radial direction to avoid the displacement of the rotating member 20 relative to the base 10 in the radial direction.
[0172] In other words, the variable aperture device 1000 allows the position of the base inclined surface 106 of the base 10 and the position of the ring inclined surface 205 of the rotating member 20 to correspond to each other, so that the ball 70 has the following capabilities: first, whether in the axial direction or in the radial direction, the ball 70 creates a gap between the base 10 and the rotating member 20 to suspend the rotating member 20 in the rotating groove 102 of the base 10; second, the base inclined surface 106 of the base 10 and the ring inclined surface 205 of the rotating member 20 cooperate with each other to abut against the displacement gap of the ball 70 in the radial direction to prevent the gap between the base 10 and the rotating member 20 in the radial direction from changing, thereby preventing the rotating member 20 from being displaced in the radial direction relative to the base 10 when the drive coil 31 is energized and the drive unit 30 is allowed to drive the rotating member 20 to rotate.
[0173] More preferably, in the radial direction, the distance between the base inclined surface 106 of the base 10 and the optical axis of the lens 2100 is smaller than the distance between the base vertical surface 105 of the base 10 and the optical axis of the lens 2100, that is, the base inclined surface 106 of the base 10 is located on the inner side of the base vertical surface 105, so that the base inclined surface 106 of the base 10 and the ring body inclined surface 205 of the rotating member 20 have the ability to push the ball 70 toward the direction away from the optical axis of the lens 2100 to offset the displacement gap of the ball 70 in the radial direction, thereby avoiding the displacement of the rotating member 20 relative to the base 10 in the radial direction.
[0174] In other words, referring to Figure 16, the base vertical surface 105 of the base 10 is located on the outside of the ball 70, and the base inclined surface 106 of the base 10 is located below the inner side of the ball 70. In this way, when the rotating part 20 is assembled in the rotating groove 102 of the base 10, the ball 70 can be retained in the base ball groove 104 of the base 10 and is not easy to fall off. After the rotating part 20 is assembled in the rotating groove 102 of the base 10, the ball 70 can be reliably retained in the ball groove 80 of the variable aperture device 1000 formed between the base 10 and the rotating part 20. At the same time, the annular inclined surface 205 of the rotating member 20 is located above the inner side of the ball 70, and the base inclined surface 106 of the base 10 and the annular inclined surface 205 of the rotating member 20 have the ability to push the ball 70 toward the optical axis away from the lens 2100 to offset the displacement gap of the ball 70 in the radial direction, thereby avoiding the displacement of the rotating member 20 relative to the base 10 in the radial direction.
[0175] 13B , 14B , and 15A , the variable aperture device 1000 further includes at least one magnetic member 90 disposed on the base 11 of the pedestal 10. The driving magnet 32 and the magnetic member 90 correspond axially to each other, allowing the driving magnet 32 and the magnetic member 90 to generate a magnetic attraction force, thereby securely suspending the rotating member 20 in the rotating groove 102 of the pedestal 10. In other words, the variable aperture device 1000 of the present invention allows the magnetic member 90 and the driving coil 31 to share the driving magnet 32, thereby simplifying the structure of the variable aperture device 1000, reducing the size of the variable aperture device 1000, and lowering the cost of the variable aperture device 1000.
[0176] Preferably, from a top view, the moving path of the driving magnet 32 corresponds to the magnetic member 90, so that when the driving coil 31 is energized and allows the driving unit 30 to drive the rotating member 20 to rotate in the rotating groove 102 of the base 10, the driving magnet 32 and the magnetic member 90 can always correspond to each other in the axial direction, so as to allow the driving magnet 32 and the magnetic member 90 to generate a magnetic force so that the rotating member 20 is reliably suspended in the rotating groove 102 of the base 10.
[0177] Preferably, the number of the magnetic members 90 is two, and the two magnetic members 90 are symmetrically arranged to allow the two magnetic members 90 and the two driving magnets 32 to provide balanced magnetic attraction forces on opposite sides of the base 10 and the rotating member 20, thereby avoiding the problem of tilting of the base 10 and the rotating member 20 caused by unilateral force.
[0178] Continuing with reference to FIG. 13A to FIG. 17 , the variable aperture device 1000 further includes a circuit board 100. The circuit board 100 is disposed at the bottom end of the base 10. For example, the circuit board 100 is mounted on a surface of the base 11 away from the rotating member 20. The driving coil 31 can be connected to the circuit board 100 so that the circuit board 100 supplies power to the driving coil 31.
[0179] Preferably, the circuit board 100 has a plate through-hole 1001, and the circuit board 100 is mounted on the surface of the base 11 of the base 10 away from the rotating part 20 in a manner that the plate through-hole 1001 corresponds to the base through-hole 101, so as to set the circuit board 100 at the bottom end of the base 10.
[0180] Furthermore, the variable aperture device 1000 includes a position sensing element 110, which may be, but is not limited to, a Hall effect element. The position sensing element 110 is mounted on the circuit board 100 and is used to detect the magnetic field strength of the driving magnet 32 at different positions to determine the relative position of the rotating member 20 and the base 10, thereby obtaining the amount of light passing through the aperture 1100 of the variable aperture device 1000. In other words, the variable aperture device 1000 of the present invention allows the magnetic member 90, the position sensing element 110, and the driving coil 31 to share the driving magnet 32, thereby simplifying the structure of the variable aperture device 1000, reducing the size of the variable aperture device 1000, and lowering the cost of the variable aperture device 1000.
[0181] Furthermore, the variable aperture device 1000 includes a driver 120, which is mounted on the circuit board 100 and disposed in a region extending from the circuit board 100 to the wire slot 103 of the base 10. Specifically, the wire slot 103 of the base 10 is used not only to mount the drive coil 31 but also to provide space for accommodating the driver 120. This prevents the driver 120 from occupying additional space, thereby reducing the height of the variable aperture device 1000 and ensuring the flatness of the circuit board 100. Preferably, the hollow portion of the drive coil 31 can accommodate the top end of the driver 120.
[0182] Continuing to refer to Figures 15A to 15C, the variable aperture device 1000 further includes at least one magnetic conductive element 130, which is arranged on the rotating member 120, and in the axial direction, the side of the driving magnet 32 away from the driving coil 31 corresponds to the magnetic conductive element 130, so that the magnetic conductive element 130 prevents the magnetic flux of the driving magnet 32 from leaking toward the side away from the driving coil 31, thereby ensuring the driving force of the driving unit 30.
[0183] It is worth noting that the manner in which the magnetic conductive element 130 is disposed on the rotating member 20 is not limited in the variable aperture device 1000 of the present invention. For example, in some embodiments, the magnetic conductive element 130 can be attached to the rotating member 20, and the driving magnet 32 can be attached to the magnetic conductive element 130, such that the side of the driving magnet 32 facing away from the driving coil 31 corresponds to the magnetic conductive element 130 in the axial direction. In the specific example of the variable aperture device 1000 of the present invention shown in Figures 13A to 17, the magnetic conductive element 130 is an insert that is embedded within the rotating member 20 during injection molding. In the axial direction, the retaining groove 202 of the rotating member 20 corresponds to the magnetic conductive element 130. Thus, after the driving magnet 32 is disposed in the retaining groove 202 of the rotating member 20, the side of the driving magnet 32 facing away from the driving coil 31 corresponds to the magnetic conductive element 130.
[0184] FIG. 17 shows a process of adjusting the light flux of the aperture hole 1100 of the variable aperture device 1000 . As the sliding column 203 of the rotating member 20 slides in the sliding groove 414 of the blade 41, the pivot end 411 of the blade 41 rotates counterclockwise relative to the support arm 14 of the base 10. At the same time, the swinging end 412 of the blade 41 swings outward at the top of the base through-hole 101 of the base 10 to increase the amount of light passing through the light hole 1100 of the variable aperture device 1000. Correspondingly, when the driving coil 31 and the driving magnet 32 work together to drive the rotating member 20 to rotate counterclockwise relative to the base 10, the sliding column 203 of the rotating member 20 slides in the sliding groove 414 of the blade 41 toward the driven end 411 of the blade 41. As the sliding column 203 of the rotating member 20 slides in the sliding groove 414 of the blade 41, the pivot end 411 of the blade 41 rotates clockwise relative to the support arm 14 of the base 10. At the same time, the swinging end 412 of the blade 41 swings inward at the top of the base through-hole 101 of the base 10 to reduce the amount of light passing through the light hole 1100 of the variable aperture device 1000.
