A method of installing a barrier comprising comprising the following steps: a. marking the construction area; b. assembling the posts: (1) sleeving the T-shaped notches of the sub-posts on the T-shaped hollow tubes of the connecting bases to connect two sub-posts with one connecting base; (2) sequentially passing the limiting rods of the limiting plates through the transverse through holes of the side surfaces of the sub-posts and the limiting through holes of the side surfaces of the T-shaped hollow tubes to make the magnets of the limiting plates contact and adsorb the connecting bases, connect two sub-posts with one limiting plate, and complete the assembly of the posts; (3) transversely clamping the T-shaped hollow tubes of the bases into the T-shaped notches of the sub-posts to position the bases at the bottoms of the posts; (4) inserting the supports at the bottoms of the warning column caps into the vertical mounting holes at the tops of the posts from top to bottom to position the warning column caps at the tops of the posts; c. erecting the posts on the marked points in the construction area; d. embedding the protrusions at the bottoms of the object boxes into the limiting holes of the bases from top to bottom to connect two bases with one object box; e. passing the inserting rods through the connecting through holes of the side surfaces of the object boxes, the transverse through holes of the side surfaces of the lowermost sub-posts and the limiting through holes of the T-shaped hollow tubes of the bases to connect the object boxes and the posts with the inserting rods; f. inserting the hooks of the side surfaces of the fences into the hook holes of the limiting plates from top to bottom to limit the fences between the two posts to obtain the fence; g. arranging the anti-collision barrels on the front and rear sides of the fences. h. Secure the bases on both sides of the guardrail in place.
