A housing device, in particular for a toilet brush, the device comprising: a body for receiving the toilet brush for storage and a lid hingedly attached thereto, one of the lid or the body having a portion separate from the other of the lid or the body, the cover is arranged in the main container so as to form a gap between the cover and the main body when the cover is closed relative to the main body, and the gap is suitable for providing discharge of fluid in the main container when the cover is closed.

Invention Field

[0001] This invention relates to a toilet brush holder, and more specifically, to a toilet brush holder that can be attached to the bottom of a toilet seat cover during use. Background Technology

[0002] Toilet brushes are well-known devices used for cleaning household and public restrooms. Each toilet brush typically includes a handle for the user to hold the brush, a brush head that cuts and removes dirt, and a brush holder that usually acts as a reservoir to collect excess waste solution after use.

[0003] Toilet brush handles are long and heavy enough to allow users to clean the inside and rim of the toilet bowl. Typically, toilet brush handles are made of lightweight, water-resistant materials such as metal, alloy, plastic, resin, and treated wood. Some toilet brush handles feature ergonomic grips to help users maintain a firm hold during cleaning.

[0004] The toilet brush head is located at one end of the toilet brush handle. The toilet brush head and handle can be formed from a single piece of material. Alternatively, the toilet brush head can be permanently or reversibly attached to the toilet handle using fastening devices such as, but not limited to, threads, pins, screws, and adhesives. The toilet brush head consists of a central body portion and bristles extending radially from said body portion. The bristles are typically made of plastic, silicone, or natural fibers (such as wood) with suitable hardness and elasticity to clean the toilet bowl without damaging the toilet.

[0005] Toilet brush holders typically hold the toilet brush in a vertical position. One type of toilet brush holder housing has an internal cavity that mates with at least one toilet brush head. Most toilet brush holders are made of water-resistant material, thus acting as an effective reservoir to collect waste solution from the toilet brush head.

[0006] Toilet brushes are typically associated with illness due to their dirty and unhygienic surface. Given their negative connotations, toilet brushes are generally considered unsightly and unattractive. To address this, toilet brushes have been designed with a variety of different aesthetics for use in the home environment. In commercial settings, toilet brushes can be omitted from the toilet area and instead carried out of sight by cleaning staff.

[0007] The solutions provided above are not satisfactory because aesthetically pleasing toilet brushes are expensive. Furthermore, when the toilet brush is omitted from the toilet area and carried by cleaning staff, the toilet becomes dirty.

[0008] Another known problem with toilet brushes is the spread of waste solution on surfaces around the toilet. When a user lifts the toilet brush from the holder, the brush head may be partially soaked with excess waste solution. This waste solution may drip and spill from both the brush head and the holder during use. Similarly, after use, waste solution may drip from the brush head during movement between the toilet bowl and the brush holder.

[0009] Another problem is the accumulation of waste solution in the toilet brush holder. The buildup of waste solution in the holder increases the risk of odors, spills, and the spread of disease. To overcome this problem, users often have to deal with the accumulated wastewater and thoroughly clean the brush holder. Current solutions are not only unpleasant but also dangerous, as the collection tanks contain a combination of human excrement and corrosive cleaning chemicals.

The housing device for a toilet brush according to claim 1, wherein the toilet brush is secured in the housing by a fastening device in the form of a clamp (26). 8. A toilet cleaning device comprising a toilet brush and a housing device according to any one of the preceding claims, the toilet brush comprising a telescopic handle. 9. The toilet cleaning device according to claim 8, wherein the toilet brush further comprises a brush head (32) made of silicone material.

Claims

1. A housing device for, in particular, a toilet brush, said device comprising: A body for accommodating the toilet brush for storage and a lid hinged thereto, one of the lid or the body having a portion separate from the other of the lid or the body to form a gap between the lid and the body when the lid is closed relative to the body, the gap being adapted to allow the drainage of fluid from the main container when the lid is closed.

2. The housing device according to claim 1, wherein the cover has a peripheral edge formed with a drainage lip.

3. The housing device according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the body includes means for securing the body to the bottom side of the toilet seat.

4. The housing device according to claim 3, wherein the housing is centrally fixed to the bottom side of the toilet seat during use, such that at least the gap of the housing is directly above the toilet bowl.

5. The housing device for a toilet brush according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the discharge of fluid is caused by the orientation of the housing device when the toilet lid is closed.

6. The housing device for a toilet brush according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the fixing device is an adhesive plate.

7. The housing device for a toilet brush according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the fixing member is at least one screw.

8. The housing device for a toilet brush according to any of the preceding claims, wherein the cover is openable by a spring-loaded push-in release latch, the latch comprising a female member and a male member.

9. The housing device for a toilet brush according to claim 1, wherein the toilet brush is secured within the housing by a clamp-like fastening device.

10. A toilet cleaning device comprising a toilet brush and a housing device according to any one of the preceding claims, the toilet brush comprising a telescopic handle.

11. The toilet cleaning device of claim 10, wherein the toilet brush further comprises a brush head made of silicone material.
