Description

TECHNICAL FIELD

[0001] The present disclosure relates to a fan wheel, and in particular to a fan wheel with three-dimensional twist features. BACKGROUND

[0002] Electronic devices usually generate heat during operation. If the heat is not effectively removed, the electronic devices are prone to malfunction, and in severe cases, the electronic components in the electronic devices can be burned, resulting in property loss. The fan blades of conventional fans are arranged vertically, such as centrifugal fans. The operation mode of centrifugal fans is to enter air from the axial direction of the impeller and to flow out from the lateral air outlet.

[0003] Due to the increasing heat dissipation demand of network equipment such as data centers, the application of axial flow fan walls has become more and more common. Although an axial flow fan wall can include multiple axial flow fans, it is still insufficient to cope with the high heat trend of device components, and still relies on centrifugal fans with larger air pressure to provide sufficient heat dissipation efficiency. In addition, the fan wheel 100 can also be used in combination with a static blade to be supercharged again, so as to facilitate the upgrading of the system application.

[0069] Referring to Figure 3 and Figure 5 When viewed from the top, that is, when viewed along the axial direction, one end of the lower joint line L2 defined by the lower edge 138 of the fan blade 130 and the lower disc 120 is connected to the leading edge 132 of the fan blade 130, and the end of the lower joint line L2 has a tangent line L4, and the tangent line L4 and the leading edge 132 of the fan blade 130 have an included angle θ between the tangent line L5 of the lower disc 120, and the included angle θ is less than 30 degrees. The above design can make the fan blade 130 have a special three-dimensional twisted feature, has the effect of increasing wind pressure and reducing noise, and can improve the heat dissipation efficiency of the fan wheel 100.

[0070] Figure 6 A perspective view of the fan wheel 100 shown in Figure 1 is shown after the upper ring 110 is removed. Referring to Figure 1 and Figure 6 , the upper ring 110 and the lower disc 120 have a central axis A, the leading edge 132 of the fan blade 130 has a distance D1 between one end of the upper ring 110 and the central axis A, the leading edge 132 has a distance D2 between one end of the lower disc 120 and the central axis A, and the distance D1 is greater than the distance D2. In addition, the trailing edge 136 of the fan blade 130 has a distance D3 between one end of the upper ring 110 and the central axis A, the trailing edge 136 has a distance D4 between one end of the lower disc 120 and the central axis A, and the distance D3 is greater than the distance D4. The central axis A can be regarded as the rotation axis of the fan wheel 100. The above design can make the fan blade 130 have a special three-dimensional twisted feature, has the effect of increasing wind pressure and reducing noise, and can improve the heat dissipation efficiency of the fan wheel 100.

[0071] Figure 7 A perspective view of the fan wheel 100 shown in Figure 1FIG. 6 is a side view of a fan wheel 100. As shown, the outer rim of the upper ring 110 of the fan wheel 100 is axially extended to form an annular wall 111. The fan wheel 100 can also optionally include weight balancing members 140a, 140b, 140c to maintain the rotational balance of the fan wheel 100. The weight balancing members 140a, 140c are located on the annular wall 111 of the upper ring 110, and the weight balancing member 140b is located on the outer rim of the lower disk 120. In some embodiments, the weight balancing members 140a, 140b are, for example, rivets, and the fan blades 130 can be balanced using rivet tensioning. The weight balancing member 140c is, for example, a clip, and can be clipped onto the annular wall 111 of the upper ring 110.
