Description

TECHNICAL FIELD

[0001] The present application relates to the field of ink printing and spraying, and in particular to a salt mist and humidity resistant ink as well as a preparation method and application thereof. BACKGROUND

[0002] The viscosity of low-viscosity UVLED gloss oil and colored ink at 25℃ is usually 5-20 cps. In this low-viscosity formula, the proportion of acrylic monomer is high, and the proportion of acrylic oligomer is low. Due to the relatively low crosslinking density of acrylic monomer and the relatively high crosslinking density of acrylic resin, the low proportion of oligomer will result in insufficient compactness of the UVLED ink film. This lack of compactness will further affect the salt mist and humidity resistance of the ink film, making it perform poorly in actual application. SUMMARY

[0044] In one optional embodiment, the filtration membrane has a pore size ≤ 2 μm.

[0045] Thirdly, the present invention provides a method for preparing a salt spray and damp heat resistant ink, and the application of the prepared salt spray and damp heat resistant ink in ink printing or spraying.

[0046] In an alternative implementation, it is used in printing on PET, PVC, paper, metal, and plexiglass surfaces.

[0047] The technical solution of this invention has the following advantages:

[0048] 1. This invention provides an ink resistant to salt spray and damp heat, comprising the following components by mass fraction: 10%-30% acrylate containing a caprolactone ring-opening structure, 40%-80% reactive diluent, 0-10% acrylate oligomer A, 5%-15% photoinitiator, 0.5%-2% additives, and 0-5% pigment; wherein the acrylate containing a caprolactone ring-opening structure includes acrylate oligomer B containing a caprolactone ring-opening structure or acrylate monomer containing a caprolactone ring-opening structure.

[0049] This invention effectively solves the problem of poor salt spray and damp heat resistance of UVLED-cured inkjet printing inks by using acrylates containing caprolactone ring-opening structures in combination with reactive diluents (and optional acrylate oligomer A), while ensuring that the ink has suitable viscosity and surface tension.

[0050] The long alkyl segments (-(CH2)5-) in acrylates containing the caprolactone ring-opening structure can form a hydrophobic barrier, reducing the surface energy of the coating and decreasing water molecule adsorption and penetration. Simultaneously, its saturated structure inhibits ester bond hydrolysis, enhancing chemical stability under humid and hot conditions. Secondly, the pre-synthesized flexible polyester segments (formed by caprolactone ring-opening) in the molecular structure increase the crosslinking point spacing, reduce the effective crosslinking density, alleviate curing shrinkage stress, and reduce microcrack formation, thereby blocking the diffusion path of corrosive media such as Cl- in salt spray. Furthermore, the ester groups and other functional groups in the caprolactone-containing acrylate compound structure can also crosslink with other reactive diluents and oligomers in the system, forming a dense and strongly adhesive interface, further delaying coating peeling caused by humid and hot expansion or salt spray erosion. From molecular hydrophobicity and network softening to the synergistic effect of interfacial crosslinking, the salt spray resistance and humid and hot resistance of the ink film are significantly improved.

[0051] 2. The present invention effectively protects the surface of the substrate, preventing film peeling in humid or saline environments (such as sea breeze erosion), and avoids rusting of metal substrates, thus significantly delaying the aging time of the substrate. The key to this long-lasting protective effect lies in the interaction between the active groups in the acrylate containing caprolactone and the active or polar groups on the surface of the coated or bonded substrate (such as metal, wood, plastic, etc.). For example, it forms chemical bonds with hydroxyl groups on the metal surface, or tightly binds with polar groups on the surface of wood, plastic, etc., through hydrogen bonds and other forces. This significantly enhances the adhesion between the cured ink film and the adhered object or substrate, providing a solid foundation for resisting environmental erosion, preventing film peeling, and preventing substrate corrosion.
